Where's furry green, it got six replies
Why isn't dim gray Oral sex gray?
Why isn't 8008IE Boobie red?
I'm already put off by this, now only Gold and Silver a worth a damn and they have to fight each other next round

Furry green will be added next round. Again. Here's how the brackets are being handled.
Dim Grey was nominated first
Renamed boobies to wine berry to fit in with the naming scheme going on

Homer, my man, You've done it again! I can't believe you got us into one of these!
>Yep! Now come on! Let's get to the yellow team so we can...yellow...or something.
What about Mom, Lisa and Maggie? Shouldn't we at least wait for them?
>They, uhh...couldn't come.
Really? Or did you not tell them cause you're worried they're not tourney material?
>No! I just didn't tell them cause they're not tourney material...D'oh! Well, think of it this way: it's been a while since we had some real father-son time!

Silver fun fact, in 1916 the new design for the Quarter dollar featured lady liberty with an exposed breasts
However the design offended many people, and so promptly in 1917 the breast was covered up with chain mail
Due to being the highest device of the coin, it's very difficult to find any Standing liberty quarter with a fully intact head. Not only is it the highest point of contact and thus being the first point of natural wear, the mint dies themselves couldn't always properly strike the head to its fullest detail. Because of this they can be graded "full head" meaning they were properly struck and avoided head wear.

Look at this, isn't it beautiful? No, that's not multiple pieces of metal. It's merely a single fine silver coin struck to perfect proof finish.
SHITrulean blue could NEVER get such luster.
In fact, not even Gold can. Silver's the most reflective metal in existence, it's THE shiny above all other shinies.

A Morgan silver dollar! They goofed up on the modeling, they didn't put the rim or inner reeds on the obverse design but the face looks nice. Judging by the way it shines and the strong green tone, it looks like a coin that's had pretty harsh PVC damage and someone tried to clean it.
Morgans are sweet though, I got a gorgeous 1880 obverse prooflike at a coin show right after my birthday. I'll get a picture up of it, though mere photos never do coins justice

Most unfortunate. Coffee with creamer just can't beat a fresh cup of black coffee. The warm bitterness of it can't be beat and is always a pleasure to sip, especially early in the morning and/or with a pastry like a croissant. Coffee also makes an excellent drink to sip on while reading a book.

Now unfortunately, only the obverse is prooflike, the reverse is just any uncirculated Morgan reverse. But it's a NICE obverse, and because it was only the obverse I was able to get it cheap. Usually any PLs are $275+ minimum, it was a steal at $125 (In fact it was, the guy's wife mispriced the coin as a mere uncirculated, but he liked talking to me and so he let me have it for the lowball sticker price) A coin could get a prooflike strike by being struck by a brand-new mint die that was polished. A regular uncirculated coin will be nice and lustrous, but it won't have the blazing shine a PL would. Here's a quick no-nonsense vid from my favorite coin channel on Youtube showing off some prooflike Morgans, I love this guy his stuff is great.

Oh and by the way, "can" reach $1800? Lmao, not even close. Now, that Morgan dollar I took a picture of got my attention at the show because it was the SECOND nicest looking one. The FIRST nicest looking one?
>full prooflike
>MS 65 grade (a 70 coin is abjectly perfect. No morgan dollars exist in that grade, and only about a few dozen 69s exist)
>1878 8-Tail feather design. First run of Morgans had 8 tail feathers for the eagle, that was how the artist sculpted it but it was changed to 7 because that's how many they actually have
>Carson City mint mark, a very small mint in Nevada that's more or less THE mint mark to have on a coin
That outright magical unicorn combination had an asking price of $3,000, and what's sad is that's not even unreasonable. That's such an absurdly specific and rare combination of desirable factors the three mortage payments it cost isn't even the most difficult part about acquiring such a coin. It's even finding it, and someone willing to sell it to begin with. If I had that kindof money I would've bought it no questions asked. But hey, second prettiest dollar I saw out a thousand dollars ain't bad at all
