I really loved both of these teams and think they deserve the crown the most. I also think it would be very funny to see Geralt in the Elite 8 again. But DC was just such a good and charming team with a campaign that fits them so much, I just had to vote for them.

Ruby is the protagonist of RWBY, a webseries by RoosterTeeth originally known for terrific action spectacle, but then the guy who did that died to an allergy, and more recently the production company got liquidated by WB
They met in Blazblue's final fighting game, which was a crossover spinoff.
Blazblue's creator also left the company a year or two ago, so both franchises are fucking dead hence Double Cancelled

So, um… is it true you went on a rampage against every demon because they killed your pet rabbit? It reminds me of that one time back in Gimmelshtump when my Uncle Fritz Doofenshmirtz got so distraught when his pet rock couldn’t wake up from his bed. He was so mad that he went on to steal all the Drusselsteinian pet rocks until he could find the perfect replacement. Since law enforcement wasn’t strict back then my father forced me to step as his temporary pet rock in between my duties as a lawn gnome. It took quite a while for him to find the best replacement, but then he ditched the new rock for a drinking bird toy he imported soon after. This was after WWII so you kind of have to take what you can get.
