Good game Punch-out bros, you definitively won. I still had fun, and got a good chance to buff my animations skills a little more. Now Wario and Waluigi are officially finalist-tier, can't wait to see what the future has in store for them both.
Honestly the funniest part of this is that Wario and Waluigi are exactly one place above the Mario brothers, in-game they'd lose their shit over that revelation.
I'll get to drawing, I can't wait to see what the E8 chart looks like.

My tips for Super Punch-Out!! is to keep dodging opponents' attacks until you can find an opening to counter them. Be sure to get the patterns down too, which goes without saying. Piston Hurricane is the perfect opponent to fight if you ever want to start speedrunning it. Hoy Quarlow is a bitch. There's plenty of tutorials on YouTube to help you that explain it better than me, lol.

It was great. I sat back this time because of burnout, just watching the chaos unfold, doing a bit of funposting, and I laughed a lot. Both finalists were amazing from start to finish.

Not a Docpost, but here's a little fun tidbit that I thought of sharing now that Finals are over: Had the Knockout Kings lost co-op, my backup plan was to pair Mac up with Phil from Hercules for /cov/ (you can credit an offhand comment on the Tag-Team 2024 qualifiers thread for the idea), with my thought process being that he arguably works better with a trainer than a fellow fighter. Phil could be fun to writefag for regardless, but after Mac and Doc's victory in co-op I think I'm good on that specific idea.

I still don't really know who to pair Roland with for /cov/. I thought of Frank Castle given both have similar backstories and motivations, but I think Roland works better with someone who contrasts him, which is why I liked the Patchouli team up a lot.

That’s rich coming from you considering they beat Lords of Chaos by a 10 vote margin. This is considering that Lords of Chaos got a lot of slack in the prior rounds and they still had a close call.
