Hello, hello! Let's talk about Drones, shall we? Let's talk about them, about how they work, what they do in x situation, what will happen if x, anything like that! Let's talk about them, Friend. The lovely Booru: https://dronebooru.co The wheel of fabulous OCs: https://wheelofnames.com/8hc-stc Last Thread: >>92910
Everything would've been too much to process at first. Honestly, for the first few days Cyn probably wouldn't be sure if this was reality or another cruel trick being played on her in her mindscape.
I feel like the equivalent of how she experienced the world while AS was in control would be similar to derealization and disassociation. She would see what was happening, but everything felt vague and hazy, like it wasn't real, or maybe she was in a dream. It would become hard to keep up with what's going on over the years, what's true and what isn't.
Finally being back in control would be the most vividly she's seen things in years, and it would be completely overwhelming in the beginning.
I had a dream about "waking up" and wanting to rewatch murder drones, to see that there were 36 episodes, only one season but 36 still was enough Then I really woke up, and felt the pain of only 8 episodes
>>93813 I can only assume based on what we know but it looks like a total wipe. >Humanity was fielding Apaches on Earth during the war You could say the higher tech was all subverted, but then Cyn could have made the railgun explode or some shit. Given the way JCJ's shown in supplemental material, I lean toward the idea that it was a full-on corporatocracy, and military tech stagnated completely. An Apache is all you need when the only real threat is random terrorist attacks, because every dispute with an equal power is solved in the boardroom. This means that MD's humanity was less prepared for the Solver than we were despite the centuries between us. We at least have militaries. Again, wild speculation, but that's my take. >We have no idea how interstellar travel is handled This one I'd like to know, but it's a question that Liam doesn't give a shit about (rightfully so, it's pointless nerd shit). Was it FTL? STL+cryo? Was the Solver capable of FTL travel while humanity was stuck at .99c? Terraforming seems to be out, given how few planets humans settled, so it might lean more toward the latter. But at the same time there's that live feed from Earth(?), which implies either FTL transmissions, or that the war took centuries. If the other planets were warned of the Solver's arrival, they didn't have enough time to prepare by far. The work in CFL might have been a joint effort on several planets, or simply Copper-9's attempt to handle the situation. Either way, every attempt failed miserably. The Solver denies all atempts at countering it, except for an emo gremlin robot with a nice guy robot boyfriend. >Humanity's state at the end I'd say that humans are still out there, somewhere. No doubt we'd have been working on settling a seventh planet.
So the Solver "War", for the average human on Earth, would be you sheltering in place as per your mandated advisory, only for a DD to plow through your wall and chew your head off. If you got lucky and ran to the countryside where nobody would ever find you, you'd probably make it out alright until it was material collection time. Maybe a few people were able to evacuate out to god-knows-where before space travel was nipped in the bud, but in general I'd say it was hopeless.

>>93891 Personally, I wonder if Akita and Colt would get along if they ever met, like, Colt is normal and well liked and Akita is this smelly abominable loser. I feel like Colt would look down on Akita and belittle her, while she would grow jealous and spiteful, and eventually they’d try to kill eachother. Too bad we’ll never know since LilBluCat got arrested.

>>93853 I honestly like the idea of a criminal group trying to steal a bunch of drones to start a harem or something. Imagine Gone in 60 Seconds meets Helltaker.
>>93944 I WANNA I got Blender I am working on piecing together Alice's entire lore to then look for which scenes would be good candidates, I am 'eorking' on this since June, but since I got null animation skills I estimate anything reasonable in no less than 3-10 years
>>93954 No I habe avout 5hours stumbling around on blender and managed to build an ugly bigheaded sixlegged abomination tho I got lotta experience with making models of different stuff irl, so it's not as much about imagining or so but rather learning how to use the program. I do not really expect success tbh
>>93953 >NTA I never said I didn't like it. However, I'm confused on what exactly happened in the green. Lucy said she died? Was there a previous part I missed? As for Cheer, I think it could be interesting for her to maybe have a Christmas related sibling, but I'm unsure
>>93961 Always looked to me as if Uzi was headed for J in order to hit her over the head with a massive weed or brush Also look at picrel she looks so goofy here kek
>>93976 (me) If you want I can delete my post, since it's not my green after all But word of advice, do not be too harsh on yourself when it comes to content
>>93977 No. Not in the slightest, infact they would be stuck outside having not killed a single person because Shake wanted them to raid the old stores for a TV or some shit
>>93977 I need Murder Drones but with the DDs replaced with Master Shake, Carl, and Xavier Renegade Angel so it all descends into incomprehensible nonsense and Liam Vickers gets a reverse boner from the lack of monster girls
Ngl I do enjoy writing The Phantom Pain but I worry that if it ever gets to an absurd length of something like 30+ parts, it'll basically be impossible for anyone to read or catch up on it. Hope to find a way to make it both concise yet still a good journey.

Anyway, to answer the Colt questions: >>93890 N projects heavily onto his kids his relationship with Cyn, so N tries to mold Colt into his Worker self. Akita is not liked by the rest of the colony because of what she is, so N has instructed Colt to be a good older brother and stand up for her whenever possible. Colt is Akita's protector, and one who begins to resent his position after a while since it hinders him from being his own person. Being forced to like Akita has kind of done the opposite, and I think on some level that he resents her for existing. N means well with his kids, but this is among several things that N kind-of forgets that Colt is his own person and not a younger version of himself on. There's obviously character development to be made here, but that's the known lore for now. Sidenotes: >Colt and Uzi are pretty close. Colt is the child that Uzi has no problem raising (unlike Akita who is a real challenge for her to interact with). Uzi's trying to open him up since she can kind-of see a younger her in him. This benefits Colt since she ends up getting between him and N and N's own feelings on Colt >N is closer with Akita than Colt because I think he's worried deep down about her becoming another Cyn and that if he had just been a better brother, she wouldn't have been taken by the Solver - thus he tries to be a great dad to Akita. He genuinely loves his daughter though since he connects with her over looking different compared to the rest of the colony >Akita can kind-of see through Colt's facade around her. She's become very aware of what subtle rejection is like, but she choses to not confront that since the idea that her own brother might not like her is terrifying to think about It's not a great family dynamic, but it's the note I plan on it opening on once I start writing this era of post-canon in my AU >>93871 Colt is an even straighter straight man than Beretta. He's kind-of emotionally constipated and doesn't really show his true feelings often. The most emotion you're getting out of him is anger. I think they could get along better than him and Negev at least since Beretta masks better as normal? Akita has the species divide between her and the colony and Negev is thrown into mental hosptial, him and Beretta have the older sibling thing going on with both and I think Beretta might sympathize with him over it. Colt's side of the dynamic is more about finding someone who N isn't going to impose his feelings on the dynamic, Colt being allowed a dynamic without N's influence. Negev I think Colt would be mixed on. He'd find her situation sad, but be wary of getting too close to in case N starts to encourage him to stay close with her.
>>94012 >Write green >It flows perfectly >But it isn't as good as you wanted because you have more cool stuff to add >But it will ruin the flow if you add anything The other contentfags don't understand our struggle.
Elmo getting high voltage Besides that being the funniest shit ever, if we had drones already there would also be people pulling this shit on them (not funny anymore)
>>94015 Deep down I know the green is fine but the part of me that wants to be memorable/be remembered is autistically saying, "No, this isn't up to par, there's a lot wrong with it. . . Not that I'd know what's actually wrong with it."
>There was a pause from the figure. >Your visual receptors fail to register the light reflecting off her body, but the silhouette is close enough to V. >"Yes, N. Yes." >Vague memories wade through the fog in your circuitry-ridden mind. Old artificial neurons fire up. For just a moment, you see the sleek white metal beneath the tattered cloak V is wearing, but that shutters out. >You can't tell if your mind just tried filling in the gaps with what it knew or your visual processors really were that damaged. . . from whatever had put you in this hospital bed. >You reach out to touch her. >"V? How long has it been? It can't have. . . Nine years? Really?" >She nods her head. Even you can tell she's somber despite her being nothing more than a shadow---an echo of the real image. "You've been asleep for nine years." >You don't know what to say. It takes a few second---maybe several---just to realize you can even ask questions. >"Why?" >V's pale yellow display eyes furrow in discontent and confusion. >"I don't know, N. I just don't, and. . . I'm not ever sure I can." >Can? >You're taken from your thoughts when she reaches out to touch you. Only, you realize that the palm of your hand is empty. You look down. It isn't even there. Everything from the forearm joint down is simply gone. >V is holding onto that joint. You turn it up and down. It's your own pathetic way of responding to her touch. >That touch has become unfamiliar. You know V had touched you in your memories. Not romantically. Not even platonically most of the time. But this wasn't what it felt like to be touched---or even caressed. >"Where's Uzi?" You ask. >V looks up at you like she just sobered up from a calm trip she was having. She didn't have any magnets. You had no idea how this could have been so. . . *soothing* for her. Even after everything had gone back to normal and she told you the truth about everything, there had always been that lingering tension between you. >That tension was gone now. >Maybe it never even existed. Not with this person. This V. And yet you felt a new one had taken its place.
Phantom pain could go away at any time, for whatever reason, but that didn't mean you were safe from new pains---new wounds and scars.
>"She's traveling, N. She flew away after you fell asleep." V's voice lost that comforting gentleness. It sounded almost as harsh and cold as you remembered it being. >The harshness was punishing, and punishment was what had motivated you to move forward most of your life. You used that phantom pain her harshness had within it to muster up the power to sit up in your bed. >"And. . . what about you, V? Why can't I see you? You're a. . . a shadow, V. All black like humans." >"I don't know, N, and I can't ever know." >Can't.
>"She's right," the deeper voice of a man agrees. >You look across your bed. V turns to look too. You see a tall drone wearing a beret over his head. His display eyes are violet, and he's wearing a dark grey trenchcoat half-buttoned up like he couldn't afford the top half's buttons. Or maybe he just wanted to feel a little rebellious. >Funny thoughts carried you through how miserable you were feeling right now---how much pain suddenly waking up caused you. >"Good evening, PGR. No, that's wrong. . . You're N. N Doorman. Took the Doorman named when you and Uzi married." >"Wh-Who are you?" You ask, nearly stumbling your words in the desire to ask more than one question at once. "How do you know that?" >"I'm Colt. Can't say my surname. We have just met after all. . . for the first time in 9 years at least." >Standing behind Colt is a pigtailed drone dressed in black. She has brown pigtails and her display eyes are blue. She carries the rosary you saw before. A black halo hat a few sizes too big sits on her head. >"Hi." She shyly waves. She hides halfway behind the taller drone like an embarrassed child using their parent as a shield from reality. "I'm Emily." >"You should thank her," Colt says as he walks to the right side of your bed. Now he and V are flanking your left and right. "She's the one who patched you up enough to make you savable. Without her? You would've bled to death, man."
>The professional tone Colt spoke in only for him to throw in those little casual words and titles got a huff of a chuckle out of you.
>You been gone a long time. But even you didn't know how gone.

>>94014 >Colt is this close from luring Akita far outside the Outpost, until they stop in an abandoned urban area >Their friends then emerge from the shadows. Chloe. Alpha. Angela, and others. And Colt stands in front of her >"H-hey guys, strange to see you out here, what-COLT, WHAT'S GOING ON?" >Colt is silent >Akita knows something is wrong. But she trusts Colt to save the day, as he always has. >"You should've never been here. It wasn't your fault." Colt says >"W-what?" >"Cyn. The Solver. The War. Nobody wants that to ever happen again.", he continues. >"Colt?!" >"I'm sorry, si-heh," he pauses. "Heh, I caught myself there...I can't believe I called an abomination like you, my sister. I can't believe we all had to lie to ourselves for so long. It was all so clear. You were never meant to exist." >Akita begins to cry. She can't understand what's going on." >"Colt, what are you doing? WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING?!" >"Don't bother running. Don't even try." Alpha yells at her, and from his coat, he reveals his arm. Akita can see it. He's loaded, and ready to kill." >They're all going to kill her. Because of what she was. >They were all going to return her to the mess of abominable flesh of which she was born. >She fell to her knees, liquid tears pouring from her eyes. >"I-I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS! ALL OF US! DID IT ALL MEAN NOTHING?" >Akita screams and wails. The crowd looks on, disgusted. >"I...I knew you weren't one of us. Look at you, crying." Colt says. He then repeats louder and furiously for all to hear, "DRONES, DON'T SHED TEARS FOR DEMONS, DO WE?" >The crowd agrees. They begin to jeer, they begin to call for blood. >"KILL THE BITCH!" >"SOLVER BASTARD!" >"SEND HER BACK TO CYN!" >Her legs are too weak to run. Or perhaps, her body refuses. >She doesn't know what it is. Fear? Sadness? Acceptance? >Colt looks away. But she can see it. >That Machiavellian glee. >He looks at her, one last time. The crowd, led by her friends, begins to circle in. >"Mother will be happy to see her biggest regret wiped from this world, and we'll all be better for it at the end of the day. But Father? Eh, he'll get over it soon enough..." >"Goodbye, you damn abomination."
>During Cyn’s “playing” Tessa’s mind finally breaks, rendering the poor girl brain dead >No matter, she can fix the broken human, she had fixed the broken DD before >But when she was “fixed” of all her massive injuries >she was still broken… >Cyn didn’t understand, the human’s body was completely healed >So why was Tessa still just lying there? >It was both was and wasn’t her; Cyn didn’t want a body, she wanted Tessa >It seemed Cyn would have to do a bit more “fixing” to bring back her toy. >Dragging the girl back to the cathedral, the demon began her work. >Cyn did eventually bring Tessa’s mind back, but she was blank slate of a person. >She only blankly stared at Cyn, not recognizing her jailer, her murderer. >She was only a fraction of the girl Cyn once knew. >Cyn soon grew angry;why wasn’t this working? How hard was it to fix that damn problem? >She was a god goddamnit! >She was going to fix this problem and she was going to bring back her favorite toy! >Cyn began her work, her experiments. It soon became her sole priority >The DDs became unimportant, the hunger come wait. >Eventually, an idea sprouted in her mind >Tessa was completely reset, no wonder she didn't have her memories >Maybe if Cyn gave her the memories Cyn had of Tessa into Tessa, she would act like herself again! >She just had to give her the memories back, that outta do it! >So she gave the human a fraction of herself (And a goodbye kiss) >It would likely take a day or two, but Cyn couldn't wait to see the end result. >But when she had arrive on the due date >Tessa was gone… >Cyn had completely forgotten those wildcards running lose >They must have taken her. >Taken her prey, her project, her pet. >HER DAUGHTER
Okay so, for the Murder Drones RPG we already have the good ending, the bad ending, and maybe the genocide ending; But, what would be that games equivalent of a Weird Route? Traumatic Recollection (Flashback Excerpt) - Deltarune
>>94059 For sure, friend. Anything for a fellow Writefag. We may not be as memorable as the other Fagspecies, but we Writefags will leave our mark. . . leave behind stories that influence people whether they realize it or not. Our meme will live on in the genome of their instincts.
>>94062 unlike other N models, they cannot process binary code! we have no idea what this means but it’ll probably be fine! they also have unique black legs! they can also make balloons from their fingertips!
>>94064 This made the mental image of a drone short circuiting at the idea of something being non binary
>a drone buying grocery's for their master >"That will be 34 bucks." >"here you go ma'am" >"erm actually I'm a non binary. I go by owe/is/me >the drone instantly doubles over it's self. it's joints slack as it's face switch's to a loading icon. smoke starting to rise from it's head. till it's head combusts in a shower of blazing black fluid. >the clerk was taken to the hospital where She died due to 4th degree burns left from the burning oil
>>94074 Missed opportunity. >"Here you go ma'am." >"Actually my pronoun is "rd /s /q C:\Windows\System32" >The clerk shuts down. >The drone then proceeds to empty the cash register.
>>94066 >Switch and TAMMFK get turned into normal drones again >They no longer need to eat disassemblers >Their opinions on disassemblers turn from negative to positive
What if out of sheer desperation, humanity forcefully created super-soldiers to combat the Solver's Disassembly Drones as the threat of being wiped out as a species dawned on everyone?
I imagine the "perfect" supersoldier would be someone completely outfitted with augments, whose genes had received therapies and alterations to give them the perfect accelerated growth to fight as optimally as possible. Outfitted with heavy machinery, their own support, intel, and repair squads, they'd also wear exo-suits which functioned not only as bullet-proof armor, but only further enhanced their physical abilities, allowing one to fight on par with a Disassembly Drone temporarily or even outright slay one given they are skilled enough.
>>94077 >Assembly line Worker pipes up from the mob and clarifies pronouns upon being called a bitch and yelled at to start getting to work >Overseer just drops the whip and begins punching the snowflake in the jaw as hard as possible while his toadies cheer him on
>>94095 Was gonna ask the same kek Just goes to show how apparently no one except on this board seems to understand even obvious lore, like who is Tessa and who is Cyn, or even the timeline. Shame so many talented animators are gonna produce messes based on skewed understandings.
>>94085 Keen. Not as flesh as my thoughts on what would be under Negev's skin, but I know it's not supposed to be that, so it's just unqualified super keen-ness.
>>94083 >Proto-T >In a world were T's creator didn't go all mad scientist, this machine was built within the proposed budget >While he's not as durable as his other universe counterpart, Proto-T makes up for it with his ability to attack at long range with his arm cannon >While this T still eats things, he isn't so much as interested in eating DDs, instead he eats metals and fuels to regenerate >However, this T never experienced love and wasn't subjected to crappy 80s movies, resulting in him lacking emotions >His voice is that of a McDonald's drive-thru speaker, loud, crackly, and monotone
Can a drone actually be transgender? They're essentially genderless and can probably change their voice on a whim plus with thread canon anatomy adapters existing, they can be either female or male if they feel like it.
>>94103 This is 4chan. I was going to say the only board that isn't is /lgbt/ but honestly, they are too. Maybe some threads on /trash/ like the human domestication one?
>>94103 I mean, I don't really care just as long as you aren't drawing N with top-surgery scars and claiming it's canon or some shit. But, what did you expect? This might now be the main site, but we're all from 4chan
>>94085 Funnily enough a female werewolf would be called a wifwolf. Because in original old English Werewolf was basically were (man) wolf (wolf) for manwolf. So the equivalent term for a woman in that time and place would be wif.
>>93899 No, not really. But be mindful you don't use it as a crutch forever. Drawing over 3D models is useful as practice, like drawing contour lines across 3D models to help train your eyes and brain to notice where the edges are, how colors/value affect certain edge. It's like hammering your brain into seeing everything around you with a wireframe. (yes, it's a bit masochistic) (you'll still have to learn to measure proportions too) Just do it -Shia LaBeouf pose-
>>94120 There are multiple servers and last I heard they were basically all ran by Twitter queers at this point with the possible exceptions of ones that are essentially kryptonite to snowflakes (Dead Space, dark fantasy, Warhammer, etc.)
>>94120 It's extremely fucking complicated. To the point I know people who have been playing for years that still don't know all the roles. And the talk about administration is mostly the goon servers, which have a hard "no hate speech" policy. Sounds reasonable right? Well apparently saying the word bitch is sexist and hate speech. Not even as an insult. If you say "this fight's a bitch" you get admin attention. Otherwise fun game to fuck about in if you have autism and time.
>>94085 >Not really a big fan of the Solver wolf tessa thing. Vampires and werewolves are often seen together so I thought it would fit. If you have any other suggestions I am open for it.
>>94129 Good thing there are canonically infinite Warhammer universes and that presumably includes ones where Slaanesh is the strongest of the main 4 by default
>>94138 Transvestites virtue signaling to distract from that they hate women and it's a weird S&M thing as was fully understood for roughly 5,000 years
>>94142 No worries, and I'm not trying to be an ass just saying how I interpret it. First off, Tessa dies in canon so inexplicably being a werewolf is odd but if that were it, it would be fine. Second, werewolves don't really exist in the canon so a dead character being a werewolf is odd. A drone with werewolf-like tendencies? Sure. But most of your interpretations are just, classical werewolves. It's like having a Dracula-esque vampire oc, yeah the DD's are vampires, but Dracula looks out of place. I'd recommend either making them a bot, or writing something that grounds werewolves in the universe.
>>94120 Honestly, I'd say you missed the boat on SS13's glory days. It's full of meta-chasing, cliques, and trash. It always was but that's all there is now.
>>94138 Goonstation specifically implemented an iron-clad "no hate speech" rule a long time ago. The initial intent was to ban people who dropped racial slurs casually because they generally sucked at the game and couldn't follow a simple rule, but as goons started suffering from trolls' remorse, it became a sincere rule. It sucks, the solarium is cool as hell but is probably forever unfinished.
>>94127 >>94131 >>94150 Jesus the game looks cool but I didn't know it was run into the ground like this. What about SS14, I know its supposed to be SS13 on a newer engine but did it suffer the same fate?
>>94150 Solarium just sets the next game mode to a "ruined ship" round where you have to dodge monsters and head through a custom maze of - I think - cogmap 2. After you all escape on the shuttle you have a new map that's the crashed space station on a desert planet.
>>94147 The original concept of Tessa being a werewolf came from an AU where the Solver decides to make her into one of its slaves as well, turning her into some fucked up cybernetic monster. And when the moon is full, that’s when Tessa is completely under control.
>>94153 SS14 I hear is much worse, actually. However, it's got Hullrot, which looks cool as hell. Instead of space stations you pilot ships around, sort of like Barotrauma. I think it's in beta so it might be running weekend tests or something, and SS14 deplatformed it for harassment.
>>94154 Yeah, that's the bad ending, right? For giving the automaton enough keys but not doing something specific nobody knows, so it spawns the Goonstation server, and people inevitably destroy/vore the server and crash the game?
>>94057 I doubt Uzi will be happy about it. She will rather hate Colt, but since he is her son, she will still love him, which will create a duality in her mind and shake her psyche. Which would already be undermined by the death of "daughter."
N on the other hand... that's fucked up. This will hit even harder than the torture solver, because he will blame HIM and only HIM for what happened, which will slowly but surely eat away at his mind, and eventually lead him to the idea of self-punishment.
>>94160 That's the "bad" ending but I'm pretty sure there's no good ending. Or at least a group of the most autistic and dedicated people on goon I've ever encountered haven't found it. But yes that's exactly how it goes.
>>94164 Yeah, the source leak revealed the good ending wasn't in-game, and I think the plan was that as people solved secrets, it'd slowly be added to the game. So I guess I'm wondering if any progress has even been made. The last thing I remember was people finding a wizard's tower. The desert map sounds new, so maybe they are still working on it.
>>94167 I know one of the admins messes with effects, but my theory was that there was no "proper" trigger for the good ending and if an admin thought the solution was clever enough they'd manually trigger a map change or take them to the GM space personally.
>>94093 Space marines aren't just a creation of genetic engineering and augmentations, there's something embedded in them that makes them super soldiers that makes blue cunt-faced bastards unable to replicate them.
>>94148 >>94157 The worst thing the Solver has ever done is dress someone as wholesome and kindhearted as N like a Nazi SS Officer, even more than making him look like a demon because demons can be nice as shown in Murder Drones' sister show Hazbin Hotel where even the Lust Demon draws the line at rape.

>>93897 I thought I was cute, I wish I hadn’t been napping when all this happened, I would have said something positive at the time
Also Fuguedrone does have a sister, her name is Lethe, but I haven’t really developed her, maybe she could be Lucy I don’t know, if it would make an interesting/fun story then I say do it
plus it’s always nice when someone does something with any of my precious OCs :)
>>94252 it's hard because it removes one of the features of drones I like. the chest screen. and I either have to make it a Dimond which look weird or remove it completely.
Reminder that HODR wants you to spend your entire day at work with a dr*ne gently stroking your penis and patting your head, optionally nursing you with her mammary adapters 🤮 Wouldn't you rather get some work done? Remember these company slogans: >The only pride you should have is in your work for the company! >Successful people are better people, successful people get promotions! >Unpaid overtime is next to Godliness! >You were born to work 12-hour days 6 days a week. Give it everything you've got! I'm sure we can all agree that well-compensated hard work is better than being harassed and touched by a dr*ne.
>>94253 I've seen everything from mechanotitties like pic related to balloon titties that pop out of holes in their chest. Honestly I got no easy fix for you. (woops forgot to tag nsfw)
>>94258 lewdanon oh how I miss you.. anyway the balloon one sound's funny. for the most part I've stopped doing the breast's tho. I'll still end up draw them with clothing probably but that's probably gonna just be foam padding.
>>94262 Yeah, honestly the clothes hide so many of the awkward to do parts of the drone naked drones are just harder. >How do these noodle joints connect to the chest/pelvis..? >Eh fuckit, pants.
>>94264 I don't really struggle with the how limbs connect. but I can see how that would mess some people up. btw it's nice having a calm conversation in these threads.
>>94271 I had a thought for a greentext where Akita skinned herself including removing parts of her own fat to fit herself in a Worker drone body. but scrapped it because I felt like it was too edgy.
>>94273 Yeah I think that'd be too edgy, but mostly because of the motivation. Wanting to "fit in" doesn't feel severe enough for that kind of reaction, even if you're half insane with loneliness. If it was, say, to survive, or because something about her was actively killing the people she loved, I could see it.
>>94283 If we do this outside and time it right, assuming it's not bound by the speed of light, we can potentially give every singe N in the galaxy PTSD.
>Writefag green >Feel so proud >Post green >No interaction >Someone below makes an Oogi meme >4 replies >Feel disheartened >Lose confidence in writing >Realize that you got no interaction because you still need to improve >Realize people don't have any grudge against you, you just didn't make something interesting or good enough >Strive to improve
Is this the cycle a Writefag goes through in their MD Board lifespan? I think I'm in the middle of it rn
>>94292 Really? But I thought most of the greens that do get attention are ones based on established AUs and OCs most of the board knows about (or anyone who's been here for an hour usually learns about just through word of mouth).
>>94294 >elsewhere in the multiverse, one universe's V, still adjusting to the body she's had ever since her near-death in Cabin Fever, gets a sense of deja vu
>>94263 I had another thought and it became a greentext. Consider this non-canon to that one or whatever, since appending a greentext onto someone else's always felt like ripping the pen out of someone's hands and writing a sequel that misses the point to me. >"P-please... STOP!" >Akita lashes out, desperately trying to stop them. >Her hand reaches out to push away a drone- >and her claws elongate, carving him open from neck to stomach. >Turning to run, her tail, now razor-sharp, whips around and bisects another drone. She shoves past- through- two more. >Gunshots tear apart one of her wings as she tries to take flight. She turns and sees Colt, his face gone from mocking joy to rage, surrounded by bodies. >The last worker standing tries to back away, hands raised in surrender, but Colt grabs him and throws him at Akita, his head shattering as he smashes into her chest, throwing her to the ground. >Colt's on her in an instant, unloading two guns into Akita's head, screaming. >Once he's done, her head's split open from the volume of gunfire... but only for a few seconds before it fuses together again, unmarked. >He's left stunned- how could she regenerate so fast, so perfectly? What WAS she? >Akita's eyes are shot with yellow lines as she screams and grabs Colt, throwing him to the ground, and starts tearing into him with her claws, ripping away until nothing's left but his core, desperately trying to escape. >She twists its limbs off and smashes it against the ground, over and over again, until the case shatters and his singularity escapes. >Stopping to breathe, Akita's monstrous features return to their subdued normal. She's covered in oil, and she looks around, seeing the corpses of the drones she thought were her friends. >She could put a name and deed to each one of them. The deeds were real, even if their intentions were fake, and cruel. They were people, and she murdered them. >The tears start to flow again as Akita drops to the cold dirt, breaking down. >She realizes she doesn't have much time, and pulls herself together. She wouldn't be welcome here any more, she was the exact monster they'd called her. >Akita's wings extend, and she takes to the skies. There was nowhere left for her, was there? >Only one person might sympathize at all. Her 'estranged' aunt, apparently a bitter enemy of her mom and everyone else. >An enemy was the only friend a monster like her deserves.
>Colt jolts awake, back in his body. >That wasn't a nightmare, he could tell by the looks of concern and relief N and Uzi were giving him. This was a new body. Right, Mom said she had insurance. >So he 'explains'. Akita went insane, she started gibbering about... finishing what she started? Yeah, that'll do. Rally the outpost around their fear of Cyn. >His parents are understandably horrified, but Uzi comes to her senses, sadly admitting something has to be done before "it becomes a problem again". >The look on his father's face at that comment was one of sorrow and resignation. >The outpost rallies again, the WDF emboldened by their last victory against Cyn, and the fact that their target was evil and deserved to die. >Colt didn't see their meeting and the plans they laid out. >His father had told him to rest and recover from what he had gone through, and said he'd "be going somewhere". >As a result, he didn't see the drone asking Uzi just how her son died, demanding to know what happened out there. >He did, however, see the message on his HUD informing him that his administrator was accessing his memory from around the time of Akita's near-execution. >He's pulled back to their meeting, forced to relive it, as a crow with a centipede's tail instead of tailfeathers watches, its eyes narrowing as Colt told his sister what he really thought about her. >"I really did give birth to a monster... didn't I, Colt?" the crow says in his mother's voice, dripping with venom. >Dragged out of the memory, Colt panics. He tears his room's door open and flies down the corridors, using the old unrepaired warehouse roof to exit the outpost quickly. Funny enough, the door was already open. >He needed to get away, find somewhere safe to hide until she calmed down. Where was safe? >Didn't Mom say there was a third DD? An idiot? >She could help, assuming the story of her losing to a pen was an embellishment. >He just needed to buy enough time for Mom to calm down and see things his way. >Didn't Uzi hate Akita, too? She'd come around.
I ordered a disassembly drone N but he’s got like, a normal core. Not the fleshy heart one you’d find in a disassembler normally, but a regular ol’ worker drone core. What’s up with that?
>>94314 What the fuck am I going to spend the money on? Friendship with N would get me everything I wanted anyway. They practically own the remnants of government.
>>94314 He can survive a couple of stabs, thanks to healing factor. It'd be pretty painful, though. I'd tell him we really need the money and get him prepared for it, then give up and drop the knife.
>>94318 okay, then how about this: only if you put a knife through N’s heart, will you get to be his friend. he will be magically revived, and won’t remember a thing about dying. but, you cannot tell him any of the info beforehand, either. will you do it?
>>94321 Probably not, no. Eldritch magic is on the table and mindfucking the focus of both the prior and current abomination that controls all of it isn't smart. Plus when all is said and done even if the powers that be block you from being friends with N you could probably befriend Uzi by liking anime.
>>94325 Using his arm to block the tentacle made it miss his core. Same with what happened to V in episode 3, Doll missed with the third rebar going through V JUST below her core. You can entertain the idea that while she's awakened her Solver sooner, she may still be as much in the dark as Uzi was, down to the point of not realizing that she's a Solver drone with a meat-covered core that is now her true self. You can see this with episode 8 too, the core's claws tearing through Uzi's chest during the callback ping.
>>94321 If I'm not already his friend, he'd probably just make some "ow" comment. He wouldn't hold it and stare at me with big round eyes, whispering "why, Anon?" Honestly, stabbing his heart is a degree lower than how Uzi befriended him. Even if he remembered later, he'd probably shrug it off. So the issue I'm running into here is that it feels really unpleasant to stab someone. At least, I assume it does. And he's a good lad who deserves zero stabbings, and am I worth his friendship?
Who would win? >A human in peak physical condition, well hydrated, and determined. or >A worker drone that has been lusting after him for years suddenly being hit on at an office party?
>>94303 Hi hello hi. I'm Haruka and Aoi's creator along with the entire setting and characters related to them, but the reason everyone calls me W-anon is because of one of my previous creations that was moderately well known in the threads, W (or Wanda if you wanna use her real name). Pic is a bit outdated since she currently has green eyes instead of the yellow ones so I might have to do an updated reference sheet in the future for her, but that's her, the German human racist that's more of less Pandemonica from Helltaker. If you want a summary of all the stuff I've done.....yeah there's no real summary here, dive head first into the booru and ask any questions you might have after. But if you want some references points >W's squad which consists of her, 13 and GF and the antics they've involved themselves in >the Sengoku Badlands storyline (or "Takamagahara Chronicles" as it's known on AO3) involving Haruka & Aoi, Megumi, a whole bunch of other characters that I need make reference sheets for and a menagerie of animals because of Takamagahara being surrounded by a terraforming barrier that allows biological life to exist once again >SD-C (or just Carmen) and her setting that's in an alternate universe where humanity won the Solver War (which I've done nothing with so far because I'm busy with TC, but I swear I will get to it eventually) >>94326 Oh why tenkyu :]
>>94310 Uzi is supposed to be a slightly better mom in the Akita timeline than the PGE where she neglects Beretta but here we have her two kids who just tried to murder each other and the whole outpost is on the verge of civil chaos as a result lol
