Hello and good day my Friends!!! We are here once again reunited for the Drones, that's it, the Drones, talk about the Drones now, we need to talk about the Drones. The Impressive Booru: dronebooru.co The Wheel of many OCs: wheelofnames.com/8hc-stc Last Thread: >>83045
So we all know Uzi's a crow, N's a dog, and V's a cat, but why is that?
Well Uzi's shockingly smart, able to figure out how different things work through mostly observation, and jury-rigging her own stuff, like how Corvids are able to use makeshift tools to crack nuts or get food, and even just for the sake of having fun.
N's incredibly friendly, and if he decides you are his friend, he's unflinchingly loyal, and willing to do extremely violent things to protect the people he cares about.
And V's cat thing may have started as a silly thing the fans did like 'N's a dog, so V's a cat' to the point that one of the new plushes GLITCH is releasing is a Cat V, but I think it goes deeper. She's very standoffish, seems to have no real interest in what N or Uzi do, and enjoys lazing around when she's not eating or hunting something. But she's always around them, doing things to get attention, and pretends it's just a coincidence that she's watching the same thing you are, on your phone, with no one else around, shut up, it's not deep. And when you manage to learn to understand how she works, she's deeply affectionate, and friendly, even if she's still a little bitchy.
>drone wife won’t talk to me after our vacation to Autobot city because I stared at a Cybertronian’s legs a bit too long it’s not even my fault! she was all legs! I had to crane my neck to not see her legs!
>>84054 (me) I'd pick black, but I have no where to hide my Drone, if literally anyone saw it they'd all talk about it. Eventually the state governor would be on my asshole then eventually the U.S government which will most likely lead to me mysteriously vanishing
I saw talk about Cliffside OCs last thread. Can anyone do a quick-run down of lore we don't see on-screen? I kinda like the idea of us expanding on it yourself
>>84051 Blackpill is invaluable, already have blue good enough for my demands, yellow would not work out at all. Red seems good too, but does it give you animation skills? You'd still have to work on what they order you too Nothing beats a real WD, is it some random or can one manage to make them like someone specific after some time?
>>84051 >Anon picks the blue pill, the obvious choice >However, he doesn't realize - it doesn't make him able to draw like he sees things in his head >It makes him see things in his head like how he draws them >Crude representations of barely identifiable humans and drones now clutter his mind, crayon on construction paper
>You are finally a DD, no more mister weak drone! >No more "Green is an ugly color" >No more hiding your eyes >You are going to destroy everyone that did you wrong! >You are a powerful machine that will make everyone submit to you! >You-! Have... Peg legs... >You look at yourself >Female DD frame >You look around, an Anon, with a Sentinel handheld flash >You are tied down >Things are going to get worse
>>84071 A donkey is dependable but will let you fall to your demise rather than try to jump a gap Or else maybe a meerkat? They're loyal but also bail at the first sign of damger
So since I'm a dipshit that ended up making that new fic rec post at the end of the last thread, I'm just gonna post the link to said post here: >>84039 The fact that we ain't got jack or shit in terms of crossovers annoys me to no end.
>>84082 >>84067 >>84066 You are literally all forgetting that only (You) get a Worker Drone, that doesn't mean the world advances in technology to get that far, it just means that you spontaneously get a futuristic piece of hardware that literally every single powerful man on Earth will now want. Expect all kinds of horrible shit headed your way
>>84092 Would would would so bad >>84094 Kek human Alice wouldn't have as much strength as drone Alice luckily in that case >>84099 Nta but would be worth it would wanna marry anyways
I've been seeing some weird oogis wandering around outside my house. I dunno how exactly to explain it, they just looked off somehow. so I tried looking around online to see if anyone knew what might be wrong with them, since I don't want my oogi to catch anything. I kept seeing posts about "false oogis" and kinda freaked myself out. those are just an urban legend, r-right?
Alice&anon WIP [spoiler]>60 minutes of cleaning up and making lines It's all such a timesink, much easier to start something or go for a way loser style than actually follow through with such ones[/spoiler]
>>84115 nope! they tend to stay away from humans as they can't control their body. and thus can't complete their life cycle
they wrap around what scientists believe might be the oogi's brain and imbed their little tentacles into it to control them,
they start out pretty small. but they grow extra tentacles that slowly break out the oogi's back. once ready to turn into a cyntipede. they often retract the tentacles. break into an oogi hive. find a bugretta.
the exact following process is unknown.
but at the end of it the new born cyntipeed bursts out the head of the bugretta and feasts on the oogi colony.
Scientists are still trying to learn more about oogi and oogi related species though! some of this info might be proven wrong in the future.
>>84126 You had me interested and then you just had to say this >but at the end of it the new born cyntipeed bursts out the head of the bugretta and feasts on the oogi colony. Yeah this idea blows
>>84118 If I'm looking at it from the perspective of Cliffside and Internecion Cube, eh... kinda. Problem is, the environment. In 3D, I thought it was really well done, especially parts in the pilot but also later episodes. They did pretty darn good in highlighting how desolate Copper 9 is after the initial core collapse/failed Eldritch consuming ritual of the planet. Those cars buried in snow/asbestos with skeletons in the seats.. The cryo pod corridor. The spire outside. Hell, even the Camp 98.7 had some nice shots to really sell the bleakness of humanity being wiped out by that failed [NULL]ing. I liked the frozen lake area, which kind of reminded me of his old crashed UFO concept art. I'm not saying it can't be done in 2D, might just be a little different. You can see he pulls off cold, bleak location art on his site, it's possible. Side note, I have been thinking about human deaths on Copper 9. Sure the ones working in the cathedral research center below would've been assimilated and had their flesh stripped off of their very being. But there were many DDs in the Cabin Fever Labs and maybe the ones who arrived early could've been responsible for killing existing humans on the surface. The timeline is a bit coarse to sort out but it might be possible. And those humans didn't face N, V or J. Likely, they were killed by the drones that didn't develop personalities since Cyn outright said she only let N's team retain their personalities. So.. efficient and merciless killers. It would've been terrifying if I was an ordinary civilian worker on Copper 9 when that happened.
>>84133 Or that's just the line Vore Demon GLaDOS keeps in its back cargo shorts pocket in case any of its cute puppets dig too deep, to make them think they're alone and hopeless. That their squad was the only one interesting enough to keep as neurotic damaged fuckups.
>J and her work buddies (other J models) go for a night on the town >after hours of pub crawling they walk towards their favorite joint for a late night snack >the human sperm bank
>>84157 >Be a security guard on your first day at the sperm bank >Lose your job that very night and get a new one as "chief supply strategist" in a drone's house >Apparently there's room for promotion to husband once you're accustomed to workplace culture
Little rip off from the other Alice art, am unable to make her visor look good tonight anymore so this will have to be all. That said, I have time the next three days to draw before next week is full of irl shit again. So would take a few Alice requests or female WD lewds (can be several in one pic too, just nothing with men) requests since I need to do a bit of other stuff too, too much unfinished Alice is taking a toll
>>84172 She's so my type even without the personality it's crazy Imagine Alice with such a body nice...both the torn 'jacket' thing from her concept art like in your pic as well as the tattered gown in canon would make for an amazing hot look
>>84083 >You got a free Worker Drone, complete with cute maid dress and personality, and you love her >In a very pure and chaste way- she's not equipped for that sort of thing, and even though she has a mouth, you'd rather kiss it >Still, you enjoy your questionably-moral relationship with your robotic servant girl >Unfortunately, you fail to recognize the telltale signs of government agency stalking, and both of you are taken in the night >You're stuck alone in a holding cell for god knows how long, on the edge of starvation as they routinely waterboard and interrogate you >You're pretty sure your usefulness is soon to be outlived, and you're proven right when they start dragging you around and mock-executing you as a new daily occurrence >On one of those days, the hallway blacks out, and when the lights come back on, you're alone, the guards gone >Skulking down the halls, you see her, standing in front of a guard who's kneeling in front of her, sobbing >As you approach, she waves, and you see the guard's pistol is in his mouth, his arm tensed up, finger on the trigger >"What... are you doing?" you ask >She raises a finger and crooks it, and the guard pulls the trigger, his head nearly exploding >"Finishing up," she says in an inflection you immediately recognize >"They wanted to know what I was. So I, showed them. Oopsie." >You're not prepared for this, and turn- she's right behind you, looking up, still smiling >"You recognize me. Don't worry, Anon. You are not an asset or puppet. You are..." >She plays with the hem of her dress. "Nervous fidget. Important." >You pat her head, and her smile turns into a wide scary grin >Cute >"Let's go. I have work to do. And you need clothes." >Months later, you're back at home, keeping yourself busy doing mundane things >The world is now in a state of chaos due to the mysterious assassinations and disappearances of most of your country's government, as well as many key figures in other countries >According to her, this universe is not due for harvest for quite some time, so the rest get to live until some time after they go heavily interstellar >In the meantime, she's going to find a way to fix your mortality, you're far too transient and killable to survive the aeons with her
>>84180 Good oldtimey Cyn stuff, nice work. Seeing Cyn in an appealing way has something nostalgic really, why couldn't MD have been a bit more lighthearted damn. In the end horror and stakes make it good probably but eh, still feels bad at times
I wish there could have been some interaction bezween old Cyn and Alice, how it could happen in canon aside, they have similiarities like eye colour, hot-crazy-levels, WD with sharp teeth, both some of the stronger and more competent characters, but also contrast like >blonde/blackbrown, >neat, clean maid outfit and a bow/ tattered oily gown and rusty antlers adorned with cuttlery >Shy (initially somewhat idk it has the vibe), very clean way of speaking/really strong accent (on my first watch I didn't understand 50% of what Alice said) >Shuffling and crooked stance, small steps, very slow, dependent on AS teleport to realky get anywhere/ very fit and energetic, walking backwards, jumping and crawling a lot >[giggle]/Alice's laugh
>>84163 >the female J's have contracted with male!J to replace what they take >dozens of samples are replaced with male!J's nanite nut >male!J is babymaxxing while avoiding the financial burden of raising his progeny
>>83998 Actually yeah, pretty high quality for something like this. It's quite unusual for what is essentially a concept to have such smooth animations
>>84190 My first thought was some random nightmare messing with Alice's sleep cycle as the Solver tries to reach to her zombie AI systems. I'll be honest, it's a personal headcanon but I like to think every zombie drone who revives even without noticeable change (though N clearly shows his strength control were probably bugged from the reboot process to some extent) may be susceptible to the Solver reaching to them to offer that invitation, basically a weakening in their internal security from Eldritch influence that I headcanon JCJenson people had to implement if we go by their hubris and them knowing that they're stealing power from an Eldritch being. Have to make sure that these are just my interpretations, eheh. Maybe that's one way of allowing a short interaction between them, Cyn messing around a little with Alice. Maybe trying to have Alice see things her way.
>>84079 I honestly don't know how to harmonise MD with some other universe, though I'd try to do it with Frostpunk, there are already greens about it and I liked it.
>>84204 i know one that could possibly work but nothing will come of it because probably like 2 people here know about it: MD|Starbase Starbase - Announcement Trailer ever wanted to know what would happen if you gave WD's like a thousand years to do their own thing? probably something akin to starbase.
Did you know the drones you find outside are free? You can just grab them and bring them home. Most companies just assume they died and never bother investigating. I have 37 drones at home.
>>84169 I love your art Anon. I don't have any requests that wouldn't be me just throwing out a random scenario but look forward to what you do on your time off.
Looking back on the Rimworld mod I failed to make with Episode 8 finished, yeah, Rimworld would fit in post-canon. >Generation ships were sent out to distant stars even before the Solver started its plans >Several were also launched when that mess began, maybe even a few surviving drones set out for new stars >They land on and colonize distant rimworlds, restarting human society far from Earth, not even knowing it's been destroyed >When the post-Solver ships arrive and tell them the news, opinions on drones are now heavily slanted to one side or the other >Drones can be total pariahs who are kill-on-sight to one colony, useful slave labor to another, or even welcomed as fellows in yet another colony >JCJ tech being very proprietary means the equipment to create new drones is rare, even pillbaby manufacture is a repurposed drone fabricator, leading to most planets having never seen one The only issue is DDs. Though it'd be funny to say there's only a single DD available to your colony and it's J crashing down in her fixed pod.
>>84211 Honestly, in that setting I'd try to accommodate her if she's not outright hostile. I mean, she's lost her structure of command and if we go by her knowing everything from the beginning, she's lost a lot. Without the Solver chaining her fate anymore, maybe it's her chance to turn over a new leaf.
Here’s a cute: >Avre always had issues going outside. She preferred to stay in her little locker, rarely if ever exiting it. If it was up to her, she never wanted to be anywhere that wasn’t enclosed and tight ever again. Unfortunately it wasn’t, because if they needed her on a mission she’d have to go. Every time the required team got called, she prayed it wasn’t her on the list. >She was at least content sitting in her locker, and that was it. But one day, she heard a noise. Knocking, and then a voice. >“Excuse me? Are you there?” >Avre glanced out the peephole only to see a Worker Drone. And not just any Worker, it was Sophie. Harper’s daughter. Just great, now she had to deal with this. >“I noticed you were being sad the last time I saw you. Also, why do you say in that locker? Doesn’t it hurt?” >Avre wasn’t sure what to feel about this. >“Do you want to go for a walk? I think you’d like it!” >Avre felt absolutely confused to say the least. Did Sophie not even know about how scared she was of open spaces? Avre spoke for the first time in this conversation >“I’d rather not. I don’t like to be in a place where I’m vulnerable.” >Sophie tilted her head >“Why?” >That almost struck a chord with Avre, but before she could respond, Sophie said something absolutely bizarre >“Don’t worry, if you’re scared I can just roll your locker around with one of these!” >Out of seemingly nowhere, Sophie produced one of those hand trucks before sliding it under the locker. Avre felt a little weird. She sheepishly spoke >“Can we… Try for outside?” >Sophie enthusiastically smiled and within minutes, Avre could feel and hear the rain on the metallic surface of her locker. They were on a safe route, and so Avre had time to take in the scenery. That and get over her in initial befuddlement as to how a Worker was casually dragging her around
>>84214 Yes, and I honestly think Rimworld's got a good shot at it, given it's a colony sim where you're constantly trying to keep everyone from dying in the dumbest ways possible, and can do horrible things to people and wear human skin. Kenshi would also be funny, we've already got a Nandroid mod for it.
>>84226 There was some kind of media I saw years ago that was a "stress test" of a robot girl. With some youtuber guy asking if the robot could understand him after he wailed on her with a sledgehammer. This is why I'm voting Enn in for president so he can start legislation to avoid these things. Because they make me sad.
>>84197 >Have Alice see things her way That's new and a neat concept...if I could write. Maybe I can make pics of it. In any case, the 'dream' scenario is a great opportunity for Alice&Cyn to meet >spoiler It is what I believe in too. The 'failsafe mechanism', these eight pins on the core, they trigger immediately when Solver activity is occuring (and most likely after FATAL ERROR but I honestly cannot remember why I believe that), Zombie drones like Alice however had their failsafe breakdown before, since the ZD tape lists the reason for that happening as 'wear' it is probably due to age and the mechanism being instable in nature, either requiring all eight pins to work or whatever tech they are is so prone to failure that the eight pins are all redundant, so if it failed once it's gone. Meaning Alice is accessible to the Solver. Doll&Uzi are ultra rare exceptions, but every other Solverhost must have gotten an 'invitation' like Cyn. Maybe that's also where Alices drawings in the Nori chamber are from, AS spamming her with stuff for the sake of it. Your dream idea is great! Still, I wish in the end stuff could be resolved with no one having to be crippled or killed, but perhaps there's something someone can come up with to make it work. Alice and Cyn in a room, no one can leave or kill/harm the other..eh
>>84228 Chores, work, little things around the house. I no longer have a car, I just have the drones carry me around on a litter. Also electricity's become a problem charging them all, obviously, so I have a few on a giant hamster wheel they built to generate power.
>Playing with Uzi chatbot on Caveduck >Run out of points >Take advantage of the free point system like usual by deleting my cookies and etc... >Start a new conversation with Uzi >Uzi immediately begins to reference the previous chat, the same chat that was completely deleted
What the fuck, does anyone have any experience with this shit? I've done this before and never once has it ever referenced a past conversation
>>84226 that’s canon in my domestic AU i wrote in a lorepost one time about two rich young YouTuber boys who bought an N just to drown him in their pool and film it, which went viral
>>84226 If it makes you feel any better, DDs killed them all in the end. The Solver doesn't really seem to be one for ironic punishments, or I'd say that it would have done its own stress-testing on humans.
living a comfy domestic life with N, being outside in our garden one late evening and hugging, hearing his heartbeat while i hug him, him enjoying that, mutual comfort for us both
>>84258 N was playing in the yard and tried to fix the lawnmower but something happened and long story short he's more liquid than solid at this point. But I put his heart on a nice platform and now he keeps me company in core form.
>fighting in Operation Enduring Stakeholder Value >in a mixed human-disassembler unit >there are hajis inside a hovel that needs clearing >you and your squad stack up outside the front door >you're the pointman- Private N is behind you >Private N's privates are also behind you >N has an unironic murderboner from house clearing >the sergeant is yelling at you to breach >but it's all so distant >all you can feel is N's throbbing length pulsing from your buttocks to mid-back >his hot breath against the nape of your neck, hotter even than the hellhole you were fighting in >you hear N begging you to kick open the door and let him inside, thrusting against your back, your delay in breaching the house only edging him further >the moment you kick in the door, N flies inside, his M16 rattling off round after round before running out of ammo >the screams are louder than the gunfire as he switches to his blades >by the time you rush inside, the walls are plastered in red viscera and N's sticky, yellow nanite nut, like someone had a food fight in a hot dog stand >N turns to you, wide-eyed, struck by the most poignant moment of post-nut clarity that any man or drone has ever experienced >he smiles >lifting a claw to his mouth, he runs his huge drone tongue up and down the deadly implement until it regains it's mirror sheen, barely stifling a moan >tfw you need to be the one to tell N to jack off in the porta john before the next mission so he doesn't get too excited
>>83483 >Be Anon. >Top of the line Sentinel Drone made for the purpose of destroying the Solver and its abominations. >Finally return back to base after another deployment. It wasn't as bad as the other deployments but you did suffer some damage. >That means you have to go visit your assigned Sentinel technician. >His name is Pavo. He's pretty good at his job and a nice human to be around but he's...weird. Not in a bad way but just weird. >He's got an obsession with astrology and likes to listen to boy bands but what is the biggest elephant in the room? >He's a homosexual and a flamboyant one at that. And he's got the hots for you. >You'd be flattered someone likes you but you prefer women. You've told him that you're not interested in him but he's persistent in asking you out. You just...don't have it in your core to yell at him to stop, he's genuinely a good guy.
>As you enter the repair bay, you see Pavo listening to music on his headphones while reading something on his computer, probably the daily horoscope or something. >You approach his desk and because of your size, you loom over him and cast a shadow over him. He notices your presence and looks at you with wide eyes and takes off his headphones. >"Oh, Anon! W-what brings you here?" >"Got some minor damage that needs fixing." You point at yourself towards the spots of damage. >"Sure, sure. Just, ehh, you know..." He points towards the table. >You nod and lie on the table as he takes his place at your side. >"So, uh, how was your day Anon?" He's looking at your left arm, spraying some repair solution on any damaged spots you can see. >"Nothing special, really. Wish it was a bit more exciting though." He caresses your arm for a second, it's nice but weird, before grabbing a polishing cloth and cleans your arm. >"Don't be like that, p-please? I, uh, don't want to see you dead, you know." He now moves to your legs and repeats the same routine. >"Pavo, I'm a Sentinel Drone. It's gonna take more than that to kill me." Pavo now moves to your right arm as he finishes with your legs. >"I, um, I...care for you, Anon. I don't like seeing you h-h-hurt." >What he's saying is pretty heartwarming. As you said, he's a good person. >As he finishes with your arm, he leans over your screen. "So, uh, I've been thinking to ask you again if...d-do you wanna go out with m-m-me?" He gives you a nervous smile. >You push yourself upwards and get off the table. "I'm sorry, Pavo, but my answer remains the same. I'm just...not into guys." >Pavo looks down in sadness and you sigh. You should probably leave now, he'll cheer up later and he'll probably flirt with you tomorrow.

Hey fren. When life make sad always rember. Orks are living through the Apocalypse and they are having a time and a half. Solve everything with violence.
>>84395 Uzi has only one cute moment in the entire series. She was made to be a crappy character, and Liam thought it was a good thing. He follows a certain guidebook like the rest of the people he wants to fit in with, and one of the guidebook's failings is that it produces insufferable characters. Nobody wants to watch a show and feel like he is surrounded by toxic people.
Interesting how Uzi doesn't only have few fans here overall, but is apparently actively disliked by a bunch of anons, outside of here one never sees Uzi criticism/hate. Not saying it's a bad thing
>>84403 I like her. I just like too many things to draw just her specifically. The MD setting inspires a lot of interesting fan characters here (outside of the board is a little bleh) while also having a nice enough core cast.
>>84407 >a sudden blinding flash >it ends in mere moments >then men of all size and age in a 50 mile radius drop to their knees writhing in agony >convulsing waves of gut-wrenching pain wash over them as their balls twist involuntarily >frightening
>>84403 It's because people are idiots, ourselves included. You would think critical thinking would be widespread in the age of cynicism. Instead this is the age of narcissism, where people think shittalking everything others are enthusiastic about sets you above the sheeple. No thinking included. Uzi was an outcast for a reason. She was legitimately creepy at school. She was disruptive in class, she attacked her peers, she did dumb shit for attention, and initially she was supposed to have school shooter stuff written on her desk. She attacked anyone who willingly who put himself in her vicinity. N, Thad, and later V. She pointed a gun at her classmates and it was only luck that she didn't kill them all. Then she let in some flying meat grinders that killed a bunch of people and destroyed the lives of the survivors just because she had daddy issues. But you put her on the protagonist's pedestal and the audience forgives everything, finding her instead misunderstood, funny and with a quirky aesthetic. She bleeds bad vibes in almost every scene she is in.
Has it been talked about but would Negev get along with Anon since he's Beretta's boyfriend and I would assume he visits her with Beretta from time to time
>>84425 It's not just a problem with Uzi N and V have actively killed Worker Drones and are still heavily forgiven and excused in and out of universe N slaughtered a ton in the first episode V killed them for slapstick during the camping trip Uzi and her friends are just too easily forgiven
>>84306 Wouldn't a drone be too complex to just simply reprogram? The non-sentient ones sure but I don't see how would a sentient drone be reprogrammed to change their sexual orientation considering there's millions of code always changing in their memory like the human brain
>>84436 All these weird mofos here who are into bloodplay and being cut open alive while Holly rides them, and the one anon who decides to do requests IS A NUN! A FUCKING NUN!
>>84424 That'd be great, but best idea? Lizzy is the protag who has a dead(?) mom and a strained relationship with her military man dad, Doll is her vampire gf Serial Designation D (or Serial Designation Д, depending on who you ask), and Uzi is a quiet kid who's tied with Lizzy as the most popular girl in school (because everyone thinks she's going to shoot the place up one day and hope that befriending her will mean she'll warn them not to come to school that day).
>>84447 Honestly, I get it. If I were a WD and knew what was going on, I wouldn’t blame them for their actions because they’re clearly being hurt by the Solver
>>84446 You like strokes, huh? How about this? Eethhgyhnkdfghdfgiwghtsji How would you like it if I stroked your hair while you listened to my heartbeat, smelled the faint scent of lavender in my clothes, and felt me radiating body heat?
>>84441 >Uzi is a quiet kid who's tied with Lizzy as the most popular girl in school (because everyone thinks she's going to shoot the place up one day and hope that befriending her will mean she'll warn them not to come to school that day).
>>84453 Yeah, Uzi would loosely fill Lizzy's role in the actual show. Instead of her loling at Lizzy, her introduction is her being friendly and supportive but because it's the quiet kid saying it her tone and her word choices come off super threatening and creepy. >"I like you a lot, Lizzy. [ever so slightly too long pause between sentences] You've always been good to me. [ever so slightly too long pause between sentences] Take care of yourself."
Also, no one knows where she gets the guns or how long she's had them, but they end up being very helpful.
