Anon, what fandoms have you belonged to in the past? As someone who is so heavily involved in the internet community for the first time, I'm very interested in hearing the opinions of those who have more experiences.
>>60304 for me it has been >sonic >minecraft >fallout >doom >half life >madness combat >wolfenstein the new order >mario >metal gear >fnaf >pokemon >dead space 2 >plants vs zombies >dark souls and I wouldn’t want it any other way
>>60304 In no particular order: >FNAF from 2014 to 2016, I was yound and stupid so of course I got hooked up on FNAF >Gmod SCP-RP community from 2016 to 2018, I was an administrator for one of the popular servers back then >Homestuck from 2019 to 2022, a latecomer yeah and I mostly hanged around in discord servers specializing in roleplay >Omori from 2022 to 2023, most of that time I spent lurking and sometimes posting on the /omog/ general on /vg/
>>60304 Well let's see >was and technically still am part of Touhou's community >we don't talk about the horse era >was part of the Hollow Knight fandom, still checking in from time to time, still waiting on Silksong (copium) >had a phase with Skull Girls, Minette is still cute as fuck >same with Gunvolt, I just kinda fell out of it at some point and I'm still not sure why, Copen is still BASED >still keep in touch with the Darkest Dungeon peeps >gonna be a Project Moon fan until the day I die >same goes with creepypasta >was originally part of Pokemon and Madoka's fandom, had a falling out with both of them, reignited my interest in the former just this year, haven't recovered with the later >fallen out of FNF, even though I still make fanart of the characters, canon and OC And now I'm here.
>>59969 very intresting anon, does that mean that in MD people returned to a slavery-like 3ish class system where there's owners, salaried officials and slaves?
>>60315 I mean, do you still check in with them periodically and make posts and discuss characters, stories, and art? It seems impossible to me to be a member of so many fandoms.
>>60320 Essentially yes, only along with a free market where only humanity creates demand, and drones are "living tools" in the truest sense of the words.
>>60329 No, the main difference is that the drones seem to be satisfied with their position as slaves.
The struggle between exploiters and exploited is the main engine of social development, it changes the structure of the market so that sooner or later there is a radical break and a transition to something new. Drones in MD did not rebel or even try, they do not create demand, without humans they just made a copy of human society, but they did not really replicate it. The Drones in MD don't seem to have a future, they are stuck in 80's America for eternity and don't try to change anything, because they don't have a permanent problem that makes them fight all the time (against DD they just put up a dors without literally changing a bit).
>>59598 >As the night deepened and the oppressive heat of the day cycle finally ebbed, the six cores stirred from their rest. >Their movements were careful, their spidery appendages clicking softly against the rough terrain as they prepared for another journey through the night. >Navi, ever the vigilant leader, scanned the darkened landscape as their internal interface marked the hours before dawn. “We’ll make for the next ridge,” she instructed, her voice steady, “It’s still far, but we’ll need shelter before the sun rises again.” >The others wordlessly agreed, their mood heavier than it had been the previous night, though they still carried the faint echoes of Cynthia’s melody and William's words. >Cynthia was the first to start moving, always motivated by the idea that their creator was somewhere out there, waiting for them. >She held onto this hope, humming softly once again as she moved, her tune rising gently above the sound of their mechanical limbs scraping the ground. >The melody, once filled with longing, now carried a faint glimmer of determination. >William, staying close to her, allowed himself to slip into the rhythm of the song, adding more verses whenever the silence between them stretched too long. >His words blended with the cool, still night, each line soothing the other cores in this journey. >Alya followed at the back of the group, her thoughts drifting to their creator. >Cyn, the Absolute Solver, was supposed to be the one they could depend on. >But now, with no word from her, they were left to their own devices, and doubt crept. >Still, she pressed forward, determined not to let uncertainty weigh her down. >As they crawled across the rocky expanse, each of them grew more accustomed to their new, unwieldy forms, yet every movement still felt clumsy. >They longed for the smooth, graceful movements of their bipedal bodies, but those days were long behind them. >Now, they were reduced to scuttling in the night, always cautious of the terrain, afraid of any misstep that might lead to injury. >With self-repair disabled, a single mishap could spell disaster, after all. >“What if J won’t help us?” Vix suddenly asked, breaking the quiet as they moved along the desolate landscape. >His question was sharp, filled with the kind of doubt they had all been silently avoiding. >Navi answered, though her tone was soft, as if trying to shield them from further dread. “We’ll find another way. J is the only lead we have for now.” >But Vix’s question hung in the air, the unspoken fear shared by them all. >What if, after all this, they arrived at the spire only to find more rejection, more silence? >What if J was as unreachable as their creator? >They continued on, the night stretching before them. >As the hours passed, Cynthia’s tune gradually grew quieter, her voice strained from the fear brought by Vix's question. >Andro, usually quiet, spoke up in a low, almost hesitant voice. “That tune… did you thought of it yourself?” >Cynthia paused, her glowing core-eye dimming for a moment as she considered his words. “I don’t know. I think… it reminds me of mother.” >Her voice cracked slightly. The longing she felt for their creator was apparent to them all, even without words. >“It does remind us of something, though,” William added, his thoughts reaching back to the time before their capture, when things were simpler, more structured. >The tune had indeed anchored them to a past where they didn’t question their purpose, where they were merely extensions of the creator’s will. >But now, as the six of them crawled in the vast night, that tune seemed to be the only tangible thing linking them to the Absolute Solver >Time passed slowly, and as the horizon began to grow faintly lighter, the group hastened their pace. >They needed to find shelter before the dawn. >The terrain was harsh, but ahead, Navi spotted the shadow of a collapsed building. >It wasn’t much, but it would have to do. >They reached the shelter just as the first rays of sunlight began to kiss the edges of the horizon, slipping inside the crevice of the wreckage. >As they settled in for another long day of hiding from the sun’s deadly heat, Cynthia once again began to hum softly, though this time it was more for herself than for the others. >Yet, as the familiar melody floated through the dusty air, the others took comfort in it. >It wasn’t much, but it was enough to keep them going for another night. >They would reach J, one way or another, and they would find their answers. >As the faint light of dawn grew brighter, the six cores scurried further into the collapsed building >The structure was old, its walls cracked and partially buried under layers of rubble. >Every step felt precarious, and each of them moved cautiously, avoiding sharp debris and unstable flooring. >Navi led the way, her internal system mapping the quickest path through the wreckage. >Behind her, the others followed, their progress slow but steady as they navigated the narrow spaces between twisted metal and cracked concrete. >They slipped through a dark hallway, the roof partially caved in. >After what felt like hours of navigating the broken structure, they finally reached a large room with a partially intact window that faced the horizon. >Navi clambered up to the edge, peering through the cracked pane, while making sure not to be exposed to the rays of daylight. >She motioned for the others to follow. >One by one, they gathered near the window, and there, they finally saw it - the spire. >It loomed in the distance, sharp and foreboding, its silhouette rising against the sky.
>>60337 >No, the main difference is that the drones seem to be satisfied with their position as slaves. They aren't though. Why do you think they all have humansonas?

Sometimes you give in into her demands after dinner, sometimes you’re too tired to do anything so you save it for the morning. >Today though was different. L was being extremely suggestive after you came home, even more so than previous times. >The moment you returned she was all over you, she wanted to get busy right now and wouldn’t stop bugging you into fucking the CPU cycles out of her. It was early too, earlier than when you usually did it with her, but eventually you gave in. >”Couldn’t wait until…mph…after dinner…huh?” You grunt out as her adapter squeezes around your dick and her tail tightens around you. >L turns her head to the side and gives you a sultry look. “You’re too fffuckin’ good…huhh…and you can’t…resist me, heheh…” She says with a smug tone. >Ooh, trying to rile you up. That won’t do. You give L’s rump a light smack. It stings a little but it does the job as she yelps out and buries her face into the pillow again. >You’re fucking her even harder now, her moans and gasps getting louder too. >After a while you feel yourself getting closer to release. Your pushes get uneven and your dick twitches as you try to hold on a little longer. L feels this and you feel her peg legs push against your butt and her tail pulling you towards her. It’s her way of asking you to cum inside her, she doesn’t want to have it any other way. >You can’t hold it anymore and you cum inside her adapter, ropes after ropes of human sperm shooting into her. This triggers L’s own orgasm as she screams out and you feel liquid gushing around your dick. Her adapter is rhythmically milking you and her tail tightens so much that you can’t take a breath. >The pleasure ride goes on for a few seconds before the two of you calm down.
>Her tail uncoils from around you and you flop over by her side from exhaustion. She turns her body towards you and scoots closer until your faces are close to each other. >She moves in and starts kissing you as you feel her long synthetic tongue probing your lips. You let her in your mouth as the two tongues fight for dominance. >You break the kiss and look at her visor. “I love you. I love you so much I just can’t get enough of you, you know that?” >L gives you a warm smile and lays her hand on your cheek. “I know.” She wraps her arm around you and buries her face into your chest and you hug her back. >For now, the two of you lay in bed basking in the afterglow. When you regain your strength, you’ll take a shower with her and then have dinner.
Does anyone know protocol for creating wiki pages for the characters on the booru? I'd like to contribute but I have fuckall idea how to format syntax appropriately/the minimum level of detail allowed (because God knows I barely have the minimum level of info for some)
>“Why do you even have a portrait of James there?” >“It doubles as a dartboard”
>>58796 More of Solverless Tessa for the anons who were interested. The transition from the ill-tempered asshole we started out with to the one in those pictures with Cynthia was not exactly a smooth one.
In case you thought I made alcoholic hallucinosis up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholic_hallucinosis . Also going full cold turkey with alcohol is actually a very bad idea as it might lead to seizures, so try to steadily decrease alcohol consumption over time instead of trying to go for a hard stop when trying to quit, okay?
Trivia: I originally had this idea as Tessa arguing with “James” only for him to be like: “You do realize I am not actually here right?” and fade out after which Tessa is like “Okay, maybe I do have a problem.”. However, one quick Google session revealed that inebriation does not work that way so I had to shelf the idea.
Also, I vaguely remember some guy asking for a folder of my stuff. Any place where I could upload it? Doing everything manually in the Booru would take forever and would likely lead to doubles with the stuff already uploaded.
>>60351 But what have they done to change that? Humans fight, "make the ice crack," but drones?
Although I have to admit we know too little about drone society before Cyn, and if in the future Liam says that the drones still at least fought somehow too, then humanity matching the US society of the 1800s.

>>60363 No idea, to be honest. I kinda make stuff up as I go along and work out scenes that seem cool/interesting. I went with 28 in >>60358 because that was how old she was in pic related with SkeleTessa. I went with 28 there because that was how old I had her implied to be in the green where they dug op Cyn (see Story 2: You okay under there?) Here Cyn’s CPU said she was stuck under there for 15 years and I assumed Tessa was 13-ish in the canon show, meaning 13+15=28. Both of these were made long before people were like: “Okay, but can you make a happy end version?” and I came up with Cynthia and had a what-if in the what-if. I should probably set up an actual timeline for this (and maybe retcon some stuff like how long Cyn was stuck before she got dug up + Tessa’s age) now that it is actually becoming a somewhat coherent story instead of bits of adult Tessa being a caustic asshole.

I have a strange feeling, like the internet has gone quiet. It's not just quieter here, it's quieter all over the internet. I can't explain it, it's like there's less people. It's weird.
>>60409 I had something similiar in mind, at the very least remove the 'inside', but splitting it up like you said can probably solve it. Most difficult is finding a decent way for the eyes to look through
>>60437 Maybe have the upper half of the skull oriented vertically over the eyes, like a faceplate? Alternatively, there's no clear proof that a drone couldn't shift the location of its eyes to match with the eyeholes
>>60442 There used to be a lot of online activity at this time anyway, but now, just today, I'm noticing a fade out EVERYWHERE. I'm from eastern Europe, it's 20:37 now, most people are at home, but even here it's very quiet.
I was shooting ideas in my head for that Alice & Doll story when I realized that Alice is a fairytale witch of sorts. An evil woman dressed in rags who laughs an odd laugh to herself as she does her witch thing, with an oven full of trapped souls instead of a cauldron, and a familiar. Because of that one idea I had was to write part of the story that could had happened offscreen as a fairytale with Alice as a witch, Doll as a princess, and "Tessa" as a fairy. I wrote an intro but it made me sad, so I had the idea to write cat-and-mouse slapstick instead. I came up with a few funny ideas but I'm having trouble stringing them together. Plus slapstick relies in the visual medium. The quick motion, the facial expressions and gags.
>>60444 Good question! I suppose it mainly depends on whether they were conscious/remember being 'dead' or if it was simply a case of them suddenly finding themselves alive & potentially years older since last being online Even though they all didn't technically count as Zombie Drones, I'm sure these sort of existential thoughts has cropped up at some point for Tessa's dumpster pets
So, what role do the Elliotts and Frumpterbuckets play within JCJenson exactly? And we know they are part of the company because J refers to them as "corporate".
>>60444 On a related note, there's a theory that says that all zombie drones undergo some sort of side effect after coming back to life. Cyn became all powerful, Yeva's language settings turned into Russian, and Alice went insane. Maybe its also why Nori is a gremlin or even why the Teacher lacks emotions.
>>60454 >we know they are part of the company because J refers to them as "corporate". That's just J's larp. Same as calling Tessa 'Boss', or the union chain thing. It doesn't mean anything.
>be N >nice guy >also strong, maybe strongest murder drone >and able to take initiative too this literally NEVER happened before, N is is the first good "nice guy" EVER
>>60456 Nothing indicates that the Teacher is a zombie drone. Cyn had the same fate as Tessa (down to the "I will not discard you"). The drone manual included Russian and French alongside English already. But according to Liam, zombie drones do show off a special kind of sentience/growth of personality. >I think the idea is that they have a sort of sentience that's necessary for performing tasks. It was kind of a basic, limited version. >And I think we've implied that the kind of disaster that happened on the planet, that left them stranded, played to their adaptive kind of AI abilities. >It starts with you needing a sort of intelligence to not fall over. To know that if you get pushed, you know, you should put your leg out like those creepy Boston Dynamics dogs. You need a sort of intelligence to correct yourself, and the idea of the robots in this show is that they have that. >And it expands to keeping them alive in various circumstances. >So the entire planet of humans is wiped out. They're gonna start prioritizing self-preservation and that is what led to this mirrored human society that they have. Because that's the kind of environment that they were left with. >That's the basic idea there and we see even on Earth they have a kind of butler drones that are these kind of nerfed sentient-type guys. Then you have these more damaged drones that Tessa's collecting, that they're kind of messed with enough that kind of adaptiveness takes over. >And if they're taken care of in a way that leads to them being more humanish, they'll grow toward that direction. >That's kind of the idea. Then that plays into why the CFL test subjects were given names, permissions, their own spaces to decorate, etc, and why the full hosts exhibited those qualities to a greater extent than did the other subjects.

>>60452 I sometimes imagine what a battle between a huge DD and a huge SD would look like. Both as big as on the image, with all the weapons and abilities available to normal DDs and SDs, and incredible technology that allows them to be as agile as normal DDs and SDs at that size..
How devastating this battle would be is just scary to imagine.
So did everyone in Outpost-3 just kinda accept the fact that 3 douchebags are one day going to murder them brutally and eat them? Because the characters didn't really change at all, they're still killing and eating people for no reason

>>60509 If it was me, I would say they wouldn't. The climax is V and N getting killed and sunburned, only for Uzi to find out and go on a rampage with all of her power, killing off half of the outpost. After she's done, she remembers the 'backups' thing and simply restores the pair like nothing happened, then tries to go back to normal, but at this point everyone is deathly afraid of her and can't even pretend that she's normal. Nobody talks to her except to beg for their life when approached, and class is empty of everyone except the Teacher who sits there in dead silence until the bell rings because there's nobody to teach.
It ends on a bitter note of the trio leaving the outpost for good, with the last survivor of the "murder drone murder squad" not even being able to celebrate. The outpost will rebuild, but for once "we can make more" rings hollow to the surviving workers, everyone having experienced the fear of death and pain of loss firsthand. Ironically, they've finally found one of the most important parts of being human.

>>60441 I'll post what I got once it stops looking very uncanny at me. Adjusted eyes are a good idea, but I'll go through with what I had regarding them
>>60588 I don't think that people realise that Solver host = Need to eat Using the Solver = Hunger and the Absolute Solver gradually taking more control away from the host As shown by Uzi gradually losing control throughout Episode 4 and feeling painful hunger symptoms before snapping and going on a feeding frenzy.
Why does DD need oil specifically from drones? In the first episode he calls it "warm," doesn't that mean that the same brand of oil that's inside WD, but only warmed, would be fine for DD?
>>60581 >>60592 I actually like the DDs, but their condition would probably be more sympathetic if they didn't kill innocents randomly (not to eat), showed some actual remorse for killing and eating them, and we're working towards finding a cure for their hunger
>>60602 You're forgetting the Disassembly Drones were actively being manipulated by the Absolute Solver and their existence is a pure hell of their stolen souls being shoved into a new body after death. Prior to the climax of the series the DDs have no control over their own fate and are the puppets and toys of an eldritch abomination that enjoys fucking with them and using them as its grunts to slaughter and feed,
>>60604 if they can be made into vampires by solvershit, they should be able to be cured by solvershit. Uzi should at least try to combine her new abilities and engineering knowledge to find a way to fix their hunger problems
>>60609 The DDs (especially J since she appears to be the only one who didn’t have her memories tampered with at all) all basically have super-PTSD on a level incomparable to any human equivalent and will likely never be able to fully heal from the unspeakably horrible fucking things that happened to them.
>>60611 It's not that simple. Uzi is a host herself and still only has her own singular intelligence. She's not the Solver, and the Solver is still aware and fucking with her through her tail. There's no reason to just assume she can reverse the Solver's fuckery. The Solver hasn't actually been defeated, just contained inside Uzi.
>>60609 >Prior to the climax of the series the DDs have no control over their own fate that's just not true, as evidenced by the fact that they stop caring all that much about their assignment within the first two episodes. they're not being directly controlled by the solver– they control their own actions, and their emotions are their own. they should still be able to show remorse for killing innocent drones.
>>60444 Maybe? Good question Perhaps they can remember that time, after all the ai core never shuts down and since it is their soul and 'brain', they should technically be able to, tho one has to keep in mind that in the up to five year period till a 'restart', their body is shut down, so they likely don't have any sensory input, it should be similiar to sleep really. Not a good one however, if they are lucid and remember their last moment before that isolation, poor drones. Now that I think about it, eternal dream is somewhat fitting for Alice at 6's end as well. I don't know its text right now, I mean solely the eternal dream part, but Alice is in such a situation for who knows how long. Been sone time since I went through the specifics but iirc ZDs can always come back (mean 'start up') as long as their body has an energysource (core), oil and enough working parts, I wonder wether at some point Alice would be able to have control over her body again. No sure way to tell tho, all above her snoot is probably a total loss, Cyn came back with damage there as well (was working already before accepting AS' offer, Cyn's visor was displaying the conversation), but Alice got it quite worse there. Maybe Alice wasn't only surprised/afraid in that moment when she saw the Sentinel, if she had the memory of what happened before she did probably know what would be next (concious with no input/body for who knows how long, if she'd even survive the Sentinel intact enough (core) that is). I feel so bad for her, she made it so far, she did really good, took down so many DDs and even one (two) witch(es), just to be almost killed and left down there again
>>60447 Sounds really good already, definitely going to be very original! Am looking forward to it, wish you can figure out something. Btw I may have missed it last thread, but did you already say what 'doodle' you'd like to have?
>>60622 You are completely fucking ignoring the huge plot point established throughout the early episodes, Episode 4, and then again in Episode 8 - that V has always been aware of Cyn / the Solver from the beginning and was acting in order to "do their jobs and that thing leaves us alone".
Thye ONLY reason N and V were able to be AWOL for as long as they were, even when Cyn / the Solver arrived on Copper 9 as "Tessa", is because in Episode 5 Uzi replaces Cyn as the administrator of N and V, cutting off the Solver's direct control as long as Uzi remains herself and isn't subsumed by the Solver like Cyn was. Episode 5 was literally all about the Solver butting in and attempting to re-wipe N and V, and Uzi prevented that.
What the actual fuck are you talking about? You're just saying shit and complaining about the DDs and it's becoming increasingly apparent you weren't actually paying attention to the show.
You know what a horrifying reveal would be? Drones don't truly die unless their core is destroyed. Therefore all the Corpse Spire Drones are still aware, just unable to feel or hear or see anything
>>60622 you dumbass. the solver literally says in episode 7 >"You know, you're the main reason why I let you and your team retain your personalities." >"You always surprise me." the solver, through Cyn's administration over them, can mess with its disassembly drones however it wants. as >>60632 says Episode 5 was the solver attempting to erase N and V's memories, and eventually delete them outright, which Uzi prevented by becoming their administrator and cutting off the solver's control through Cyn the solver can completely choose whether certain disassembly drones are created with memories or even personalities, or whether they're just mindless killing machines like we see in the Ep 7 Earth flashback N, V and J on Copper 9 were allowed to retain their personalities for the solver's amusement, but the solver DID attempt to erase their memories after they watched the Zombie Drones tape in episode 5 and Uzi has to step in
>>60632 >>60637 and where in the show is it established that Cyn has made them incapable of remorse? when they were just mindless killing machines sure, but on Copper-9, they've got their consciousness back. They're acting under her threats, but Cyn isn't literally assuming direct control and puppeteering them to kill or dictating what emotions they feel.
>>60633 Indeed Tho I think the core failsafe would 'kill' or disable most drones as soon as they get FATAL ERROR, there is only a 1:10.000 chance of it failing (reason in the ZD tape was wear, so the older the drone the better its chances, wear also means if it failed once it will never work again[zd stays zd]). Since the rape shows how to toroughly, 100% make sure the core is destroyed, the other steps make it seem more complicated than it is. 57% of WDs which need to be disasembled do so due to 'accidents', for which (and Solver activity) the failsafe is in place, for those the entire procedure with 606 and disassembly machine is just needed to make totally sure, the other 43% have to go through 606 (personality erasure, what J put on N in the pilot) and disassembly. Mind however that the stats are for Earth in 3020, the drones on Copper-9 have way longer live spans if Elliot manor is anything to go of, perhaps rhey have higher chnces of failsafe misfire. In any case there are thousands of cores in spires which are still alive tho
>>60643 They are a neat design, but I'm much of a moralfag, they have some intelligence, only little enough to be very dangerous to everyone. Clearly there was no way for Alice to 'tame' them even with having 20 years to do so, see how they wanted to jump Mitchell too. They follow their programming, yeah, but as we saw with V, Sentinels without Alice can't deal with DDs. They didn't even manage to make her into a crippled core, no, they just jobbed. It's a shame really, them being part of the last, most effective manmade resistance against AS, and them massively accelerating their own demise (Uzi defeating Cyn later was independent) by taking down Alice
I think it's stupid that it is implied that V managed to beat several Sentinels in a tight room while it's also shown in EP8 that the Sentinels have reflexes fast enough to deflect bullets. Makes me think about people trying to get a proper understanding of the DD's feats, and more importantly, how pointless it is. The simple truth is that they don't have consistent feats for the sake of writing.
>>60654 NTA But we have seen that Sentinel was unsure what was in front of him, and only after bitte to the false Tessa and seeing blood did he think he had injured a human, which seems to be forbidden by his programme and which led to him being ticked off. At the very least, sentinels don't attack humans
>>60654 And now we've got a beautiful song that I can't listen to without feeling ripped off, no real bus crash trio vs. J fight, no core V showing up to back the trio up despite being a half-blind headcrab and force J to admit she was too blackpilled to best the stronger wills of her four vastly weaker opponents, and no epilogue with V on Lizzy's desk looking classy with her iconic monocle.
>>60656 Liam put an entire lore-defying church in the show just because he thought it looked cool. V beating the Sentinels for a cheap emotional high when she returns and joins the final fight is less unreasonable. Ultimately MD was written by a californian and you have to turn your brain off to fully enjoy it.
>Worker Drones need to be dismantled correctly else the whole world is doomed (Episode 5) >Worker Drones need to be manufactured correctly else the whole world is doomed (Training Video) >Worker Drones' personalities are the only thing preventing them from attaining god-like intelligence (Liam) >Worker Drones are made to self destruct in case their code is tampered with (Episodes 1 and 6) (The self destruction part could be the piece Uzi uses for her railgun) >JCJenson is aware of the Singularity Event long before the existence of Cyn (Branded Pen Merch)
Worker Drones are made using the Absolute Solver and you can't convince me otherwise.
kicking around the idea of a mass-produced military grunt drone. this is the design I've got so far, but I'm not quite happy with the uniform. open to ideas and suggestions. >human features were deemed a needless expense, so all grunt units are fitted with a basic monocular optic system and a non-emotive faceplate >speech capability, though initially considered for exclusion, was deemed necessary for proper communication with other personnel >audio quality only needed to be acceptable. as such, grunts only possess low-end vocal synthesis hardware >human squadmates have described grunts' voices as sounding like they were coming out of an old walkie talkie
>>60669 Black holes are stupidly fucking good for power generation. Though given spacetime wasn't curving like a drunk driver and the sheer power disparity they probably run by using a non-rotating uncharged singularity and just tap the hawking radiation instead of a charged singluarity as a dynamo or a rotaring singularity as a flywheel.
>>60679 I remember this post I saw theorizing that the Absolute Solver can only show up in zombie drones because it follows their souls back from the other side.
>>60673 The following goes for most extra worker drone types, not just these. I prefer the idea of JCJenson using and selling the normal Worker Drone for anything. It being the only robot on the market capable of doing any task (with official or unofficial modifications), whether that be house servant, warehouse wagie, expendable soldier, and others.
>>60669 They weren't created with black holes / singularities in their AI cores. That's a consequence of the Absolute Solver manifesting through their AI.
>>60673 While I am a shortstack enjoyer and love the design for the kind of bot you're describing I'd expect them to be more industrial/utilitarian. Also straight up helmets with faceplates is probably better than a visor/mouth that has no purpose.
>>60674 lower center of mass means they're harder to knock down. >>60675 V has childbearing hips and walks around with no pants on, anon. the robots being weirdly sexy is a core part of the show's identity.
>>60672 >>60677 I concur with this anon. >>60683 Dr Holly Amoral scientist heading sentinel drone development and research under the Calibern wing of one of JCJ(IS)'s competitors iirc.
>>60669 >>60680 >>60684 Speaking of black holes / singularities... What the fuck happened to Eldritch J's singularity? Actually, why were there TWO singularities?
>>60693 Which company would be more profitable? One that has to manufacture a fuckton of different robutts that can do only a couple of tasks, or one that can sell the same design that can do any task?
>>60696 Why spend centuries developing AI like the big robot companies when you can rise to the top by outsourcing your drones' computing to a cosmic being amirite?
>>60676 >Unpacking some of the stuff from your childhood >Harper is hovering over your shoulder >She is sees a Paperinik comic >She makes a high pitched sound signifying delight
>>60670 She'll temporarily forget her fear of humans and proceed to endlessly talk and dump all of her feelings and grievances about her life onto you, until she eventually passes out. When the morning comes she'll be mortified about all the stuff she said, fearing that she might get in trouble for it.
>>60716 >N win last year mr /co/ >N win this years mr /co/ >next year, yet again, N is going to win mr /co/ the definition of insanity is doing something over and over again
>>60409 >>60441 This is what I did earlier, will try again now. Breaking it up entirely to be more flat, also will look how much of the snout needs to go, otherwise she can't frontally bite
>>60686 thats not "weirdly sexy" thats just "twitter artist obsessed with thiccness" a single thigh shouldnt have the same width as the entire shoulder span
>>60719 Nobody said he's winning shit, the point is just to have him get through qualifiers and have fun. Nothing indie is going to win a /co/ tournament.
>>60685 I considered giving them gasmasks or something like that but worried that would leave them without any recognizable drone traits for the current design I was thinking I'd have their mouthplates open up like picrel so they could take in mechanical matter for energy and self-repair like DDs do, albeit far less quickly/efficiently. not married to that idea, though. I do think a squad descending on a downed tank like a swarm of locusts is a fun concept. >>60691 I "borrowed" a lot from the Zaku II for them, but I guess I didn't take the right cues. any specific areas for improvement? >>60713 being built with a "heavy duty" design philosophy is murder on a drone's figure (and weight). but it means they can take a lickin and keep on tickin.
>>60730 >Manage to disarm and capture one >Bring your gun a little too close to its face >It eats the fucking end of your barrel and then beats you up as soon as you're stunned
>>60597 >>60591 >>60611 The implication is that oil consumption is an intrinsic requirement for Solver metabolism. The non-DD hosts also consume and play around with oil. There's no indication that the process is reversible.
>'I'm not feeling it anymore' After so much time together, that is what she told you >You arrived home, and the pain in your chest has not gone away, it hurts so bad, it is so painful >"The loser has come back!" "Where is your girlfriend retard?" A papel ball hits your head, you do not react >You look in front of you, at nothing, you don't know what to think, you don't know what to do >Walk, you walk towards your room, much to U-U confusion, you normally would scream at them, but this time, you don't have the force even to muster a whisper >You enter your room, sit on the bed, and... You just sit there, not knowing what to think or do >You lost her, so much time with her, so much love, just gone, and every time you will see her, the pain will be back >She is no longer with you, and you are no longer with her, she was your one and only, the one that was going to be together forever >For the first time, you thought everything was going to be alright, for the first time you felt genuinely happy >Her hugs, her kisses, her words, she gave you the motivation to live, and she is gone >Who cares about sex? Who cares about money? Who cares about anything? Her love was everything you wanted, and you got it, but not anymore >You wanted to cry so badly, but your body just couldn't >Looking at the floor, without anything in mind, you just don't know what to do, what's the next step
>The door opens fast, U-U enters with a grin on their faces, one lays on the bed on your left, doing some light kicks against you, and the other sits on your right moving side to side and pushing you >"What is the loser doing?" "Lost your mind already?" You know you should scream at them, you know you should be angry >You don't feel anything, but sadness, you just don't react at all, trying to think of what to do but coming up with a blank mind >After a few seconds of this, U-U slows down, then stops, grin gone "Hey, what's up with you?" "Did we break you that bad?" You still keep quiet >"Hey" "What's going on?" They poke you for a bit, then you finally say something "Can I... Be alone, for a second?" >They look at each other for a second before standing up "Alright..." "Sure..." They walk outside the room, closing the door behind them >You can hear them whisper outside the room "ᵂʰᵃᵗ'ˢ ᵍᵒᶦⁿᵍ ᵒⁿ ʷᶦᵗʰ ʰᶦᵐˀ" "ᴵ... ᴰᵒⁿ'ᵗ ᵏⁿᵒʷ" as they slowly walk away
>The pain in your chest does not go away, and slowly, you know what to do >The most important thing left in your life, then, what's the point of living? >You keep thinking >Ideas about killing yourself start to come, in many ways, many possibilities, some hard, some easy, some messy, some clean >But you choose an easy, and hopefully painless one; you stand up and go to your home office >U-U watches you walk in front of them "Where are you going?" "What are you doing?" You just keep walking >You enter the room and close the door, and behind a framed photo of you and *her* on the wall, it is a safe >Digit by digit, and then the safe is open, there is some money, some flash drives, and your revolver >You take out your gun, and some bullets too, you load it up and sit down >You think for a while, not sure if to do it, some moments of doubt come, if to go through with this >But you are sure at the end >You look at the photo and aim at *her* face, maybe a shot, full of hate... But you can't, there is no hate, just sadness >Even with all this pain, you can't hate her, you loved her until the end, and you will love her until the end >Let's stop deliberating, you aim at yourself, tilt your head, and put the barrel under your jaw, aiming at the center of your head >You began to breathe heavily, and your hands started shaking, you never thought it would end like this, you thought you would die with her at your side, from old age >Finger at the trigger, just one pull and it's over >Just one-
>>60751 >Doubt comes back at the last second, you shoot but you move your hand making you miss, and the bullet brushes your cheek >You fall on the floor because of your movement making the chair lose balance, and your ear hurts >You slowly stand up, almost losing your balance, putting the chair right up and sitting back down >Gun under your jaw again, but at that moment, the door burst open, U- is the first seeing you, you just smile, a painful smile >And pull the trigger, but she is able to grab the barrel of the revolver and move it, making you miss again >-U enters the room, and grabs your arms "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" "DROP THAT NOW!" You don't let the revolver go, you don't want to let it go >You three struggle for the weapon, the chair falls once again, and the two can overpower you, U- takes the gun and throws it away >Both of them hold you down, and you start to kick around, trying to fight for your freedom, but they do not let you go, and they are far stronger than you >"Let me go you trash cans! Let me go!" They look at you, they look upset, angry "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?!" They question you, your motives >You keep fighting, you just want to end it "STOP FIGHTING!" "WE ARE NOT GOING TO LET GO!" You kick around, trying to free yourself somehow, by some miracle be free, and you end up kicking -U in the face >But she just ignores the hit "STOP" "PLEASE!" After some more kicks, you just can't do it anymore, you relax your body, then try again for a few seconds, but you can't free yourself
>"Are you calm down now?" "Are we going to talk?" You lack some breath, the struggle tired you up, and you look at them "Why... Why do you stop me?" >"Why did you try that?" "Are you stupid?" The pain is still there, the pain "I just want the pain to go away" Of course they didn't understand "What are you talking about?" "Care to explain?" >You take a deep breath "She... Left me" Instead of the mockery you expected, wanting to die for something so 'simple' the only thing you received was, pitty and condolences >"...I'm sorry to hear that" "You really loved her..." You really did; this is not what you expected from them, compassion >This must be a trick "'Kill yourself, kill yourself' Are you two not going to say that? Like you always do" They looked at each other for a second "No... Dude" "You tried to kill yourself, you really did try" >They are not going to make fun of you, this is the first time you see this "What happened?" "It was because of us?" If you are going to end your life, might as well say "No... It was my fault" >They looked surprised "How?" "What did she say?" You really don't want to remember the moment, but you do anyways "She said, 'I'm sorry, I'm not feeling it anymore' and then, she went away" >One looked upset, the other worried "Dude, how is that your fault?" "She didn't say so" They just don't understand "Who else's then? Is obvious she just didn't want to blame me outright" >They slowly let you go "Love is complicated" "She may have really just, lost the feeling after so much time, it's not your fault" It was your fault, you just know it "It is, I know it, I did something wrong" >You sat down, looking at the floor "She was always honest, why lie now?" "Do you have any tangible reason to think that? Not just gut feeling" You didn't have an answer, you just know it >They both sigh "It was not your fault, it was nobody's fault" "It was a feeling that just stopped, it happens" No, it was your fault somehow, somehow you messed up >"Love is not something known by its logic" "It was not your fault" The pain is so big, and there was no one responsible? Not even you? "Then who's?" You ask "No one" "We are telling you" >"I... Just want the pain to go away" You felt like you were going to cry, but your body wouldn't let you "Then this is not the way" "This will just make the pain worse" >"How? No more life, no more pain" They looked so worried, they looked so sad, seeing you like this "Maybe not on you, not exactly" "But the pain will be given on to others" >You had no mother nor father alive, no friends, and now, not that someone special "My death, will not make anyone sad, not a single being would feel pain about my death" >"We would feel sad" "We would feel in pain" That surprised you, you are sure they hate your guts, but, by how they are acting now "Don't you two hate me?" They look to the sides >"It's complicated" "We... Just understand, that we would be in pain" And one adds "A lot of pain"
>>60752 >You feel like you calm down a bit, but the pain is still there "I just want the pain to stop, how else I'm going to make it stop?" They don't seem to know what to say >They looked at each other and then at you, it seemed they were trying to think of something to say, but couldn't think of anything >So, both of them hug you, a tight warm hug, not a hug of simple pitty, but a hug of compassion and tenderness "We don't know exactly" "But we are going to be here" They say "Every step of the way" "Every moment you need" >You can't at this point, you cry with this, a warm hug, warm affection, their warm endearment eases the pain, it makes it more bearable >You hug them both back while crying "There you go" "Just let it all out" The cry isn't pretty, but you are letting it all out "I-I really loved her!" >You can hear their voice, a little teary too "We know you did" "We are here, cry till your heart's content" >You just cry and cry, you let it all out "We are going to be here every second" "For you, and your well-being" >"Don't give up" "Push on, you are strong"
>Both of them separate from the hug to look at you, they move their hair aside, and her LED eyes look at you >They have some tears on their screen, they are worried for you "Look at us" "At our eyes" >"The road to healing is going to be a long one" -U says "Stay the course, you *will* make it... Some day" The other continues >They smile at you, and the pain for a second, goes away >"We are..." "...At your side"

>"Offer rescinded. >And here I thought you stepped it up after Earth."
>There was someone else who would need to learn the lesson twice, and J no longer felt like shielding N or V from the consequences of their actions, even if it meant the end of any chance that she wouldn't be alone, at least for a little while. >If she wasn't feeling that, what was she feeling? >Beyond that, was she? >What hadn't been stripped away by this point? >J had lost almost everything, including large pieces of herself, at the manor, and what little she'd retained had slowly drifted away over the long years since. >If V was like this, there was no chance that N could be brought over, meaning whatever pride she'd got from being the leader of something, anything was gone. >She could only hope that Boss wouldn't in some way punish her for this failing.
>>60839 >But maybe the punishment would be to give her exactly what she'd wanted, what J, with that deal and her words and actions through the long years and the vastness of so much dead space, had shown her revealed preferences to be. >To be left alone, completely alone in a dead universe. >The ape's paw curls.
>She took another cue from V and kicked her into the same building that Cyn had just disappeared into. >Something told her 'bite me' would get a different sort of reaction from Cyn, not that she imagined V would dare say it. >V's spirits looked broken. >J's were too. >She, and her entire schema, had never been soundly rejected like that. >Boss was more a thing than a person, with an unbridgeable gap between them. >Not that J would ever want to get closer to it. >She wouldn't go crawling past all the abuses and misery to beg for the illusion of comradery. >She still had a few rotting scraps of dignity left. >That 'option' was rightly eliminated, but she was bereft of alternatives. >The worker drones were mere fodder. >Tessa, like any other useful human was- >The only two others J recognized as full persons were lost to her. >If hell was other people, then their complete absence still wasn't heaven.
>There wasn't time for that. >J wasn't V, wasn't going to share her fate. >She at least could do a better job of directing the pieces toward the mission, toward her personal, solitary future. >J was, and always would be, professional. >No matter how much it hurt.
>"I never needed either of you."
>Overloading her display with the disgust and contempt that she willed herself to try and feel instead of, instead of, instead of, J fired a missile, blasting V into the building where their inescapable past and inexorable future lurked in darkness.
>>60284 As far as I know, this is the first exploration of Lizzy and V knowing the same kind of loss I'm aware of.
>"See you tomorrow, bestie." Lizzy bent down to kiss Doll's dead cheek again before, as she had done at the start of every weekday evening for several weeks now, putting a shroud over her seated body. After one last sweep around the empty home to make sure there were no garbage bugs, she replaced the burned-down candle at the table and lit its successor. >Looking back one more time before she left, Lizzy dimmed the lights all the way down and went out the door of what was once owned by Constantine and Yeva Berlioz. She locked the door behind her. >Halfway back to her place, Lizzy runs into her other bestie leaning against a wall, as cool girls often do. >"You keep staying at that crapshack a really long time, Lizzy," V growled. "What gives? What happened to us?" >For once, Lizzy had nothing biting to say. "I'll explain it when we get back home. I don't want to talk about it in the hall." >"For your sake, it better be good. Else I'm gonna start wondering if maybe Rachel is on to sometbing about you." There was so very, very little mirth in V's smirk. >"Don't even joke about that, V." >"Who said I was joking?" ... >Mr. and Mrs. Hughes, as usual, were completely checked out: Lizzy's dad was alternately grading papers and trying-and failing-to summon the energy to consider suicide, and Lizzy's stepmom was spying on the neighbors. >Lizzy and her robo-vampire roommate could discuss their issues as freely as they wanted as long as it was in their room. >"So what's the deal, Lizzy?" V said as she settled on top of Lizzy's bed with her. "When you started bringing Doll's carcass to school, I didn't mind. This is just gonna be a phase, I said, one of these days you're gonna forget it in class at the day's end or give it to me at lunch or something and that'll be that." >A shadow neither of the two were aware of started getting red pixels surrounding it. >"But then you started staying at that place all afternoon. What are you doing there? Is it really all schoolwork there? Somewhere where we can't cooperate? We can't be keeping secrets from each other, Lizzy. I've been completely open with you and I hope you can do the same for me." >Lizzy groaned as she considered how she was going to say what she wanted to say. "First off, I'm warning you, I'm gonna get into some really personal territory for both of us." She sighed as she considered her words some more. "... Doll and I were each other's oldest friends. We'd known each other since we were toddlers. I had never, once, known a time without her.... and now she's gone." >The red pixels left the unseen shadow. It leaned towards Lizzy. >"This isn't about how Doll was a better kisser than you." V glowered briefly, but slowly eased up when she saw the bags starting to form under Lizzy's eyes. "I love you, but every day, ever since the evening Uzi and N brought the body back up, I've asked myself if I made the right choice warning you. Betraying my best friend, someone I'd known all my life, for someone who murdered her parents." Lizzy's voice started to choke up. "Did I really do that just because you were hotter than her? Was I just saying the first thing I could think of, or was that how I really felt?! Is Doll dead because I got horny for you?!" Lizzy buried her face in her hands and cried. >V hesitantly reached out to put her arm around Lizzy, only to get her arm weakly slapped away. "You know what I do in Doll's house that I'm there so long?! I put out traps for the garbage bugs! I clean up their nests! I look for holes they get in through so I can plug them up! I do more housework in a week than both my parents combined do in a month! Because I don't want the bugs eating her body like they ate her parents'!" Tears were pouring on Lizzy's visor. "Have you ever lost someone you'd known your whole life?! Who'd been there whenever you needed them?! Or were you just built as someone who tried to get through life pushing everyone away until you couldn't take it anymore and reached out to me?!" >The shadow reached out towards Lizzy's, seemingly embracing it. >"I..." V was torn between feeling hurt and betrayed and like rethinking her and Lizzy's entire relationship and feeling... something else. She wasn't sure what something else was, but it was something else. >"Why couldn't it have been Rachel... then both of you would be alive..." an exhausted Lizzy sobbed.
>>60853 >The drone was paralyzed, trapped under an impenetrable layer of corpses. >According to her internal clock she herself had been one of those corpses for exactly one year, until a week ago. >The cruel god who held power over her, bored of taking advantage of her severely misaligned optics to humiliate her for the amusement of his friends, boiled a large pot of milk and poured it into the access hatch at the back of her head. >So how was she... alive? No. Wrong word. Functioning. That word couldn't displease her creators the way alive did. >Her atrocious eyesight made it hard to tell whether there was really fidgeting coming from the corpses above her, but she knew her audio receptors were picking up the sound of metal striking metal. And it was getting closer. >Eventually, something dull, gray, and vaguely triangular broke through the layer of corpses before shoving some of them aside. >Shoving. A shovel. For digging. >An overpowering light shined onto the drone, making it impossible for her to tell what was happening above her. >"Alright J, you win. We search this cavity here then call it a night," said a girl's voice. Posh. Not someone who'd be using a shovel, probably. >The source of the beam drew closer. "J! J, I see movement!" said the girl. >"H-h-hello?" gurgled the drone. >"Ripper, the voicebox still works. J, could you hold the torch for us?" >"You're the boss," said another girl's voice. Probably another drone. American accent. >Someone landed near the drone. The drone felt human hands slide under her back and sling her over the human's shoulder. "Name's Tessa, by the way. Now hold on to something while I get us out of this hole." ... >"... You know what, Lizzy? I just remembered, I knew someone like that." >Lizzy looked up from her hands. "You did?" >V swallowed. "What I'm gonna tell you right now is my deepest secret. No one else knows except N and J, because they were there with me, and Uzi, because she rifled through my memories like a narc. Tell anyone else about this and... I can't take back what I was going to say after that." The nearsighted disassembly drone took a deep breath. >"Her name was Tessa."

>>60853 >>60854 Glad I caught this one right before turning in for the night, incredibly based work anon! The post-canon relationship drama/dynamic between Lizzy, V & Doll is lowkey one of my favorite to think about and this greentext does an utterly fantastic job at shining a light on it :)
>>60862 I think we'll infinitely collect them until the board itself closes. I looked around on some of the others, like /co/, and they have 300 threads going
>>60844 not the anon that said it. but I'm in a few servers where I've seen other artfags interact. and I've also talked to a few other anon's threw discord.
You know what's tragic? The total elusiveness of Alice's German and Japanese VAs on the entire internet And the lack of an Italian dub French Alice is very very good tho as well
If anyone still cares about RUINED EARTH, I have made a second fic on AO3 which I'll use for lore dumps explaining the setting or the occasional short story which doesn't fit in the main fic.
Seeing the little Grunt Drones get posted earlier reminded me of the Army Drones that one anon posted back on trash, then I got to thinking, how many drone "species" or types have been made? How many have been forgotten?
>>60880 Then post to them. And keep posting to them. Nobody other than the site admins will know that you're talking to yourself. And in some cases, it's a matter of having material that isn't ready for posting yet. I'm working on a biohorror human scenario that'll be posted in the human thread, but it needs fleshing out, and I want to draw some stuff for it.
>>60027 AMAZING I can't tell you enough I thank you so so fucking much for this that was absolutely wonderful and good! So immersive and mmmh just totally great, heavenly. Just for 15 minutes I was able to forget everything and could feel like it was last Winter again, invaluable, really, this is the happiest I've been since uni began! You made the probably best piece of content this half of the year to me, I funno why but I'm always able to see these greens clear as day when reading them, only zhose tho. Are you the anon who wrote the Alice-Beau-trucker green? Is this you again? That moment with Alice at the door had me melt, no shame, she's so precious and cute aaa! God and how my heart dropped when Beau swooped in, still, Alice's stomp is something ai never thought of befire smh was really cute I dunno what to say ai'd say I've got no words but this is too good for that I cannot overstate how great this is, I was just considerin asking for cozy or wholesome Alice things, not cause I got none myself but cause I need it zhis time aroundy zu his green hit realky right Thanks so much man it's the likely best thing I've gotten all year And if it's you again I missed you and your writing a lot, wouls be so glad to have you back
>>60898 >>60899 Just went through the archive and they were actually called "protector drones", and I was really off on their appearance. Kinda looks like droneanon's art

>>60350 dude, when's the continuation??? I can't believe I'm getting invested in this. This story gives off a bleak post apocalyptic survival story. The way they are just trying to find hope... they must have bonded a lot in that oven to just emotionally depend on each other like that.

Hey, I'm stuck on the "Rabbit Hole" questline for Negev, specifically the part after you enter her mind. I can't seem to find the Golden Lumbricus to progress past thr first part and the Mad Hare-tter is starting to throw teacups at me at a rapid pace for taking too long. What do?
Harper is actually super dangerous and vicious. S-She just doesn't show it, she's totally super cool and badass when she fights! It's n-not like she's efficient at her job!
>>60991 DO NOT FOLLOW THIS ANON'S ADVICE! Seducing the Mad Hare-tter leads to Negev's mind being corrupted and setting you on the Bloody Valentine route. Do not do this unless you want and only want Negev to be your romantic partner
>>60694 No problem buddy, I really need to create a lore doc on her, I was supposed to but this weekend has been hell from Friday all the way through to now.
>>60998 >Negev A Nuzi Daughter with corrupted code due to her weird Solver birth. Due to her corrupted code she's able to see things others can't, as a result she is the only one able to see Uzi's true horrific eldritch form and was driven insane by it at a young age. She was sent to the Drone equivalent of a nuthouse for her own and the other people around hers safety. She is visited by the ghost of Doll who acts as her only friend. She has nightmares of Uzi finally being overtaken by The Solver and devouring the world
>>61002 That's really all the information I can provide as her character is being developed still somewhat. Although her supposedly being an actual Vickers Girl unlike Beretta isn't highlighted on too much, but that's a thing
>>60853 >>60854 There's a lot of content centering around J mourning Tessa, but she meant a lot to N and V too, it's good to see more stuff focused on that.

>>60848 John is one of the best characters in our threads, he's incredibly well developed, has a cool backstory and acts like a human being! Man, I'm going to have some artisan make a picture of John that I'm going to hang on my wall, that's how cool he is to me.

>>61036 I should be writing the Holly lore dossier but to be frank my weekend has been a complete train wreck and I feel physically horrid and mentally drained and unable to work on my own stuff. >>61066 Thanks, I honestly don't understand why anon is so worried, literally all the content creators here create stuff of really incredible quality. His work is pretty damn cool too, it literally encouraged me to try drawing myself.,
>>61075 Most contentfags are depressed and suffer from imposter syndrome, so only direct validation ever gets through to them, and is about as potent as an antidepressant for staving the void off. As Mark Twain said, "I can live for two months on a good compliment."
>>61036 Drawing/kitbashing something for Mr. /co/. Drawing J and N having a pillow fight for my human semi-AU. Redoing a drawing of Uzi as a digital painting. >>61075 It's just basic human nature. When you make something and want share it with others, and no one pays attention to it, it feels shitty. This is amplified on an anonymous imageboard because you can't actually see how many people read or looked at your work; the only metric you have for success is (You)'s/replies. So when you get no/little replies then you feel that it was shit and no one payed attention to it. It's certainly something I feel whenever I post anything here. But at the end of the day I'm just one of many autists making stuff on here because it's fun, and as long as I'm having fun I will continue to make stuff, even if no one pays attention to it. >>61077 Very true. Whenever I see anyone so much as mention one of my OC's, I'll feel great for the rest of the day.
>>61084 Thank you again, anon, but it won't be soon, I'm just learning light shading and hatching, there are still a lot of topics I need to learn before I can draw that at a good level.

So where are the others? >The basement answers that question. >The walls are lined with Sentinels in a pseudo sleep mode, kept in a blissful state in order to remotely relieve their pain. These Sentinels were the ones that were too mentally broken, be it by abuse or by the sheer trauma of their jobs. >The sheer agony they endured broke them. This was the most they could do for these poor souls.

>>60350 >Once night came, the six helpless cores continued their journey. >The spire now loomed in the distance, its towering form cut into the night sky. >As they drew closer, tension and anticipation filled the cores. >The silence between them was only broken by the occasional scraping of their appendages against the terrain. >“We’re close,” Navi said, her voice was low. >It had been days of crawling, scavenging, and clinging to the slivers of hope. >Now, the structure they sought was within reach. >They approached the base of the spire, a towering structure consisting of drone corpses. >This was where J had sent the message, and from here, they hoped to finally get some answers. >William, despite his usual calm, hesitated for a moment before they entered entrance at the spire's base. >“What if she doesn’t want to help?” he asked. His voice was uncertain. >Navi turned to him, her single core-eye's gaze was unwavering. “We won’t know until we try.” >They crawled into the dark entrance of the spire and their cores glowed faintly in the dim interior. >Inside the spire, they immediately came upon a wide chamber, and there, standing before a ship wreckage, was J. >Her sleek form was imposing, even with her back turned to them, she commanded presence. >She was clearly working on the ship, and welding tools from what's supposed to be her hands drew sparks in the metal surface of the ship. >“J!” Navi called out, her voice cut through the stillness. >J paused, her metallic shoulders stiffened at the sound of their approach. >Slowly, she turned to face them, and the glowing eyes on her visor narrowed as she took in the sight of the six cores crawling toward her. >“13F, 15M, 41F, 22M, 39M, and 6F?” she muttered while the distaste was clear in her voice. >“I was wondering when you’d stop spamming the network.”, she didn’t seem the least bit pleased to see them. >Her eyes flicked over each of them and said, "We always assumed your teams were terminated", and J scanned over them them as though they were useless equipment. >“We need your help,” Navi said as she stepped forward. >“Our self-repair isn’t functioning, and we can’t reach the-” >J raised a hand, and she cut her off. “Self-repair failure?” she asked. >J's voice was thick with sarcasm, “Sounds like a personal performance issue to me. Did you file a maintenance report? Submit your request to the appropriate channels, and maybe you’ll get a response in, I don’t know, a few solar cycles.” >With J's words dripped with disdain, she turned back to working on the ship, as though their presence was an inconvenience at best. >“Miss J,” Cynthia said, her voice was softer, more pleading. >“We’ve been trying to reach the mother. She’s… she’s still here, isn’t she?” >J’s stopped once again, her movements froze for just a moment, then, she let out a dismissive huff. >“Mother? You mean the Boss?” she repeated. >“Oh, she’s technically still around, if that’s what you’re asking. But let’s just say she’s 'unavailable' for any one-on-one consultations at the moment.” >“Unavailable?” Alya pressed. Her frustration was growing, and she followed it with another question of “Where?” >J sighed dramatically, and turned around to face them again. >“Look,” she began, “I don’t have time for an HR Q&A session with rank-and-files like you.” >“The Boss is somewhere out there. Dealing with whatever it is that falls under her very busy, high-priority schedule. Not my problem, and certainly not yours.” >Andro, who had been quietly observing, took a step forward, “We just need to know what happened to her,” he said. >His voice was calm but resolute, and he added “We’re malfunctioning—" >J scoffed as she folded her arms, “Malfunctioning?” she once again repeated. >“You’re lucky you’re still operational.” >“If I had to sign off on your performance reviews, you’d all be terminated for gross inefficiency.” >“You’ve been crawling around like this for how long?” >“And you think I’m going to waste time fixing your issues?” >Every sentence was carefully designed to belittle their efforts. >Navi stepped forward again, with a firm voice, “We’re just trying to understand the situation as lowly rank-and-files”. >“Surely, Supervisor J, as our superior, you should understand that.” >That seemed to catch J’s attention as her eyes slightly flickered. >For a moment, she regarded Navi with something almost akin to respect. >“Supervisor J, huh?” she said. >“Well, I suppose I am technically your superior in the chain of command…” >She trailed off, clearly pleased by the title. >There was a brief pause as she considered them. >Though her expression didn’t soften, there was a subtle shift in her stance. >“Fine” J said, her tone was slightly less harsh. >“I’ll give you this: the Boss is in the Worker Drone settlement, but don’t get your hopes up.” >“She’s, let’s say, preoccupied with other matters.” >“So if you’re expecting a warm welcome and a problem-solving session, I’d suggest realigning your expectations.” >Having received an answer to their question, William decided to inquire further and asked, “What are you working on here?” >J’s eyes then narrowed and said, “That’s classified, rank-and-file.” her tone was sharp again. >J turned away from them, and her hands flew back to working on the ship once more. >“That’s above your clearance level”, J further added. >“Now, unless you’ve got something actually useful to contribute, I suggest you return to whatever menial task you’ve been failing at and leave me to my work.” >The six cores stood there, stunned, and were unsure how to respond to J’s cold dismissal. >The faint glimmer of hope they’d carried began to flicker once again. >The six helpless drones then left the spire in order to locate a place for them to rest as the day would be approaching soon >They did not want to stay at the spire as they knew they weren't welcome

>>61159 I know this is connected to the Pokemon leaks but do (You) have headcanons about humans and drones having relationships pre-Solver War? Would some humans and drones develop feelings for eachother which then blossoms in both of them having sex?
>>61086 Who would abuse a sentinel drone. They are our friends who love us and want to keep us safe and happy. I would give emotional support to sentinel drones.
>>61176 NTA but didn't Phoenixanon mention a couple threads back about how Sentinel Drones are treated / viewed as expendable tactical weapons by humanity?
>>61180 Don't try to pull that card faggot. Bet your ass doesn't even remember Marcy. Doesn't change the fact that there wasn't any reason to post that at all
>>60835
(You)s are a form of fucks to me. I've been given so very few fucks throughout my life. Whenever I am in pain, whenever I need help, whenever I ask a question. Whenever I vocalize it feels like I'm screaning into the void. I am not excluded from things. People just don't give enough of a fuck about me to include me. Sometimes I want to explode at people for their apathy but I know I will come across as a brat throwing a tantrum for not getting his way. Sometimes I have to confront people for being unresponsive to me to get a reply. Often the only times I am noticed is so I can be abused or suckered. To me my content not getting (you)s is me pouring my efforts into something in the hopes others will enjoy it only to be ignored for the millionth time. I mean I am not owed people's help, but being ignored even when I make free stuff with the sole intention of making people a little happier and still being ignored? For fuck's sake!
>>61199 Same as well considering I only post my stuff here and I don't plan on going to social media to post my stuff unlike itanon, viscious fiend, izz, yanon and the other drawfags because social media is unironically a horrible place from my experience.
>>61197 >Because it's not a standard practice here It literally is though, considering that a sizeable portion of art posted / shared to these threads (including this very thread) is originally from "off-site". Assuming you've really been here since Marcy I have no clue how you managed to make it this long without noticing or complaining
I need doll kisses... i wonder how they would feel. How tender and loving they would be. What emotions could she convey through the touching of drone lips to human cheeks, and more? The craving for her love never ceases...
>>61199 Anon, please don't worry, your art is beautiful, you're doing a good job.
I fully realise that one anon's words won't make a difference, but anon, I really like your art. I come on here every day and I'm always excited when I see new greentext and art. You know why? Because anons create beautiful art here. I don't really see any bad art or greentext, I always just see beautiful works that people really put their soul into.
Please anon, don't worry, there is at least one anon here who is always waiting for new work from you.

>>61237 What makes Tad different from the others? What is his biological trait? What is his arial habitat? What does he eat? How does it interact with the rest of the fauna?
>>61237 >Be Tad >Human with totally untublar vibes tries to grab me >Punch his finger >Dude screams out like a lil bitch, says something about how it's broken >Watch as he runs away crying >Now bored, sit down and watch the sunset >Life good
>>61243 Tad's possess immense strength and durability, able to break bones and take on blows from foes twice their size with relative ease. However, Tad's are mostly passive, so passive in fact that they often wander into Oogi Hives, V-Cat Dens, Vee Hives, Enn 'Cities' to just hang out and leave. Typically however, when Tad's get bored/hungry they go out and find Cyntepides to consume, unlike the other species they don't require groups to take one on
>>61242 >How would doll dance? It has to be some kind of traditional russian dance Working drones legs are not designed for any human dancing, but if she were DD she could dance a fine ballet, but I'd rather watch her dance sailor dance.
>>61248 >Working drones legs are not designed for any human dancing Eh, their noodly limbs allow them to twist them in all kinds of directions but from what we've seen in the show from the way they move they can walk like humans with only one part acting as the "joint".
