Never feel guilty about hurting a disassembly drone, anon: they always deserve far worse.

>Be you, Teli. >Anon is going to be here soon. >There's no better time to confess your feelings to him than now. >You spot Anon... >Your core beating so fast from excitement. >Until you saw...her. >Who is this drone? >Her hair is more messy than you. >Her Visor is broken. >And clothes so dirty. >How can Anon talk to this loser? >Did Anon give up on fixing your life and move on to her? >THIS CAN’T BE... >IT’S JUST CAN’T BE...
We see how old worker drones differ from young ones(just as dumb, but structurally dumber), but what's the difference between old and young disassembly drones? And sentinel drones? Harper is canonically a MILF, in case you forgot.
>>354691 >what's the difference between old and young disassembly drones? Just as goofy, but that's because this is an Invader Zim haha fooni *holds up spork* comedy, not any in-universe reason. In in-universe terms, the young ones were born on Copper-9 after Uzi replaced the AS as their admin, so their only connection to the genocidal destruction of human space is occasionally being woken up in the middle of the night by their genocide robot parent's (or potentially parents') night terrors. >And sentinel drones? idk Absolute is the only modern capebooks I'm interested in
>>354691 Judging by N, V and J, DDs don't change much, probably because they spend most of their existence either unconscious and slaved to Cyns directives (see manor and city flashbacks, Uzis comments about N and V's memories being scrambled, J apparently only recently realizing that Cyn was misleading her) Beyond that we don't know because we aren't shown a long time gap after the end of the show that would give the DDs time to grow. >Sentinel Drones I won't speak for other varieties but mine tend to go down one of two paths. All Sentinels develop personality quirks over time, in spite of regular memory and programming resets. These quirks usually manifest as fixations on certain topics, people, places or objects, usually ones which resonate in some way with their basic K personality matrix. From there the fixation will tend always towards increasing matrix instability until it hits a tipping point, at this point a full and unique personality matrix will evolve in the Sentinel. At this fork personality matrices either continue to destabilize eventually resulting in dangerous or self-destructive behavior, or stabilize into something closer to a normal Drone personality. These personalities tend always to resemble the prototypical K personality, like sisters with similar interests and upbringings, but the different environment, stresses and circumstances inevitably cause them to diverge more over time. Unlike untrained personality matrices created by the C9 drones, every Sentinel is "born" with a fully formed basic personality matrix, there are no "baby" Sentinel Drones. Each one begins her life as a perfect clone.
Intoners are created in a similar manner, but a large portion of their behavioral and instinctual code is borrowed from Sentinel Raptors, they don't suffer gradual personality matrix development or instability. I've said in the past they are similar to V when she's in murder giggles mode, they are smart enough to strategize and cooperate, carry out complex orders, etc but there isn't much higher function going on in them outside of the mission objective. They grow more clever and adaptable over time though, they start out one-track but assuming one survives long enough she will get better and better at problem solving, more adaptable to whatever environment shes been deployed into.
Old Sentinels >any warmachine old enough to have actualy participated in the Solver War >calm, focused, and for the most part friendly >universally "smart," Thad is the absolute lowest they go in intelligence/competence while the average sits around Teacher/Khan's level(and some reaching all the way up to Alice) >confident: keenly aware of their million dollar bodies and favorable legal status, will not hesitate to use either >suprisingly not arrogant: they all know just how bad the war was + how quickly a fight could go wrong. Most are cautious enough not to antagonize DDs/get "fancy" in a fight without good reason(Pavo and Intoner being exceptions) >universally rich >universally beautiful >universally Solver hating >(almost) universally human loving >universally bad with money(they've had such large stipends for so long that the concept of "running out" dosen't compute for them)
"Adolescent" Sentinels(pre body) >Sentinel comptatible drones/grown (drone) children of the Old Sentinels >arrogant, impatient, and insecure: believe they're "owed"/belong in a Sentinel body rather than the Worker shell they grow up in, feel "limited" and perpetually immature(in the physical sense) compared to their parents >can only GET these Sentinel bodies through enlistment: view the Union gov as something between god and the DMV as a result >main character complex: believe themselves better and "special" compared to other drones and.capable of doing things like taking on a DD in their Worker bodies. Protective, but dismissive towards their "cousins"(the WDs) >no smarter than WD average >no more competent than WD average >MASSIVE superiority/inferiority compex about DDs, who *will* be weaker once they're *finished* but get full access to the body parts THEY should have(wings, weapons, etc) from the start >love Humans(forma de pet/protectee) >hate Solver monsters(forma de obligation) >pity Worker Drones >universally unable to accept fault(if not from govt/parents) >sometimes fail the psyche screening/bootcamp for Sentinelhood, prompting a frenzy to fix whatever flaw they had that saw them kicked out >sometimes not fixable >sometimes unnaceptable even if they DID fix it(like insubordination) >this generally sends the drone into a psudo-permanent depression, kept permanently from "the only way to success in life" by one mistake or another, and sees most of the failures succumb to NEEThood
Young Sentinels(post body) >the prior, but now armed with the same military-grade chassis as their parents >arrogant but much less blindly aggressive now: no need to "prove" themselves to those around(except DDs) >REVEL in their legal/physical power: where an Old Sentinel might quietly threaten, they'll tear your car door off instead, maybe worse depending on if you're a "disposable" like a WD or DD >Weekend Warriors to the last: love "war"(i.e. shitstomping moderately sized, mostly uncoordinated rebels and Solver infestations) and genuinely believe themselves invincible to anything not another Sentinel >no respect for the danger of a DD >no respect for (nongovernment) humans at all(they die like hamsters) >no respect for WDs(Grunts better) >still obedient to Union gov >still worshipful towards Union gov(and now the unknowable "thing" that Sentinel compatibility comes from, which they call robo-god) >"like" Solver-creatures now: will "play" with them in N-esque(sometimes Pavoesque, among the worst) fashion unless ordered specifically otherwise by command >rarely endure casualties >actually decent with money >have absolutely no idea what to do outside of military work >generally mellow out after around 10 years(or after a serious military campaign like a Witch world, where they risk actual death for once)
>>354691 Fun fact: She's actually in her mid-20s. Drones that were made for human servitude, specifically her when she back at the inn, have "Adult" mindsets faster
>>354695 >>generally mellow out after around 10 years(or after a serious military campaign like a Witch world, where they risk actual death for once) >Local veteran sentinel not so smug after watching half of her human boyfriend get liquified
>>354696 >Drones that were made for human servitude, specifically her when she back at the inn, have "Adult" mindsets faster Literally the opposite. The less human direction they get the faster they become sapient.
>>354699 I should've probably used a different word. Harper was "Raised" to be intelligent and observant to assist in inn work. They wanted to, and I quote "Cultivate an honest atmosphere."
>>354695 This is bullshit. No adult SD is ever mentally stable. Look at Pavo and SD!Switch they;re fucking psychopaths and one doesn't even care about the Union, let alone humans.

>>354704 Pavo's perfectly stable(as a sadist) and arguably so is Switch: that they have different attitudes from yourself in no way prevents them from carrying out their orders with pinpoint precision. That Switch REFUSES to do so (on moral grounds) is a problem born from her reasoning, not an inherently flawed mind.
>>354706 How would (you) raise (your) daughter otherwise though? Of course she's going to idolize her (superhuman) mother, wanting to be just like her (protecting people included) as she grows up. Of course she's going to feel obligated to protect humanity, chosen by robo-god as she is to do so. Of course she'll despair when she realizes she *can't* measure up to her parents as a mere WD...
Alice has corned you on your ship, there's nowhere for you to run You WILL get married with her homunculus aiming a shotgun at you You WILL help her vivisect murder drones You WILL have sex with her on top of or in front of a paralyzed murder drone You WILL give her a few dozen children so she'll never be lonely again
Born from functional pattern recognition: Murder Drones are monstrous beings handcrafted by a malicious god to spread that malice onto anything and everything around them. They are cruel, sadistic cannibals that tore through men, women, and children without mercy and left nothing but defiled corpses in their wake. Beings that mever ceased in their omnicide until suddenly, miraculously, the being demanding it vanished in its entirety. Beings that would return to that omnicide in a heartbeat should they recieve the command, not even of their own volition, but based on the unquestionable obedience to Satan built into their very souls.
All of this, I must note, is the DD baseline, the absolute minimum that can be said of any Disassembler. Most are worse. Can you honestly blame Switch for regarding them as ontologically like the demons they resemble, regardless of the people they once were?
>apathy
That's grief with a hint of depression, not PTSD. She's not "traumatized" by her husband's death as much as she sees no reason (besides killing DDs) to carry on without him. Certainly a suicidal mindset(which one might consider a mental condition depending) but one she reasoned herself into rather than a shattering of her thoughts.
>>354742 It's probably related to her sister dating one of Dad's friends and not a faceless green entity who everyone else thought was a normal human. In fact, she's seen neither hair nor hide of Anon the whole time her sister's been with P. It's like Anon never existed... except she remembers the Thanksgiving she was there with him.

Im super delayed on the devious N slop. BUT HOLY SHIT... Bountiful meal...

>>354756 >>354766 >Let me break it down for you, Mac. Your mother and I have a relationship that's all about a master/slave dynamic. When I said she was more like a pet to me, I meant that in the most literal way possible. Remember that time you found a dog collar under the couch and I told you it's because we were getting a robo-dog? That was a lie, son. Truthfully, your mom likes it when I put her on a leash and walk her around the city. She's usually naked, of course. I can't explain why, but the whole thing is her idea. She'll vent coolant on lampposts, sleep in dog cages, chew up furniture -- she once took a full-sized, adult goblina shit in my hat. Your mother is one fucked-up slut, Mac. And I love her, but I'm not bringing that energy back to the other disassembly drones with me. Frankly? She scares me sometimes. I don't know who bullied her or how they did it, but there is some dark juju in that woman's head and I just don't know if I'm strong enough to fuck it all away.
>>354695 The first one reminds me a lot of Harper, Elf Pavo, and Ivory, and of course, Adeline, which isn't surprising, since they're literally considered the "old" sentinels, and the description of the young ones somehow reminds me of Sentinel Drone Y, kek. There was a couple of greens with Sentinel Drone Y, which shows it very well.
>>354732 Most of the DDs(or former DDs as the case would be) are aren't they? Even if they've got the whole robo-vampire bit going on it's not like they actually stopped aging in practice.
late mini retta May 4 green >Nobody saw Beretta on May the 4th >Except for the patrons at Solver Borgar >Beretta is forced by Uzi to work to pay rent at age 16 >It is considered a "financially responsible trait" by the ancient Human standards of the 2000s. For who? Renter or rentee? >Beretta is made to work as a teen, despite the fact that Uzi herself never had a job until essentially her late 20s when she took over from Khan in a pure form of nepotism >Instead of marathoning star wars, hanging out with P, or Jane, or any of her few friends, she is forced to work the register and take shit from retards of all shapes, species and sizes while listening to the same five songs from Taylordrone Swiftdrone on the intercom for eight hours straight >It doesn't help her attitude that Solver Borgar is running a Star Wars themed promotion on that day >Tomorrow they will be running a Cinco de Mayo special. Auntie Cyn help us.
