You do own a drone anon? Surely you dont let them go outside without a leash like some kind of savage? Drones need their master and their master must keep a close eye on them lest they cause others harm

>>350953 Can I not be envious of Nuzi's relationship?(cute fucks)
Hello again, it's been a bit long since I've written a proper green. Thought id might throw something together out of a scrapped AVRE green I had a while back, but this time with some new faces and a new planet. Here hoping this is somewhat readable.
Date: Late 3070/Early 3071 Location: Elysium System | Elysium-7 Status: Excavation/Research | Currently Under siege by solver forces Last update: 4 months ago - Name: Anonymous Occupation: Researcher/Assistant geologist Location: Research Facility: Point Abyssal Population: 32 (updated): 1 Status: SOS - >Be Anon. >6 months ago, the facility I worked at, as well as the rest of this planet and presumably the entire system, came under attack by Solver forces. >All military assets stationed on this planet were either diverted to the system capital, or were destroyed when the dropships arrived. >This planet isn't much, a frozen iceball with some deep ore systems and a few geothermal quirks, it didn't have much more than mining operations and research facilities stationed on it. >So when Dropships full of ravenous murdermachines dropped into the planet, it was quickly deemed a total loss and focus was diverted to the main fight on Elysium-3. >Or so I've heard. >Our facility, outside of our ring of facilities on this continent, lost contact with the rest of the system, and all we could do was hear the radios of other outposts go silent one by one till they reached ours.
>Of all my team members, I was the only survivor, by sheer luck and being a coward. >We only had hunting rifles and excavation tools at our disposal, and didn't stand much of a chance, so I hid. >Others did too, but the spot I chose seemed to go unnoticed by their hunting parties. >A semi-active geothermal vent, which luckily stayed dormant while I hid inside, the passive heat from below kept me from freezing to death while I heard my coworkers get slaughtered above me. >By the time I emerged, the facility and the rest of its previous inhabitants were ravaged. >Most of the structures were no longer habitable due to various chunks ripped out of the walls. >I ended up boarding up one of the few remaining sealed rooms: the communication shack, which surprisingly remained undamaged throughout the event. >The mess hall was basically destroyed, but the food storage cellar still had the supplies to feed 32 people for the 6 month project this was meant to be, so at least I wasn't going to starve to death easily.
>The next few months were a mix of scavenging, hiding, attempting communication with other stations, and trying to keep what few remaining systems of the facility working so i dont freeze to death. >About 2 months ago, the roaming patrols of those machines that were still on the planet… stopped roaming, and outside of my last close encounter with a roaming individual, that was the last I saw of those things. >It was around that time I finally reached contact with another facility over radio, who managed to dodge most of this attack on account of being under the ice surface. >Their reports matched mine, wherever those patrols went, it's evident they're not here anymore. >The next 2 months up to now were uncomfortably calm in comparison. >With communications re-established, I've started a routine to try to keep myself sane to endure whatever comes next.
>Weather permitting, I take a walk around the remains of the facility, see if there is anything worth scavenging/repairing, and take rations from the cellar to eat for the day. >While the walk itself isn't pleasant, it's good to make sure the paths stay clear and it helps keep the cabin fever at bay, plus at times the surrounding landscape is quite pleasing when it's not a blizzard hellscape. >In my little reclaimed habitation, I talk with the other facilities and keep myself busy with keeping notes of this whole ordeal, drawing, and self reflection. >This room also has a half-functioning radar system, normally used to keep track of the facility members who venture outside the facility so they don't get lost / stuck. >Unsure if it's been damaged or not, because it's been reporting blips occasionally, but any investigations into them revealed nothing of note, or at least nothing the snowdrift doesn't like covering up by the time I reach it. >The only thing it can track in that mode is station members and a few pieces of equipment, so unsure what's going on with it, so I've turned it off for now. >MustHaveBeenTheWind.mp3
>Outside of the general unease though, I'm probably decently well off, all things considered. >Just gotta wait for rescue to come, if it ever does. >Seems easy enough, it's what I've been doing the last 6 months, and my food should last me another 6 months more or longer depending on if anything starts expiring. >So I'm good right? >Well, under normal circumstances, sure. >However, I'm in a bit of a predicament at the moment. >Currently, I'm stuck hanging upside down, in some sort of snare strung up between the frames of two damaged structures. >A snare I didn't set up, or even know HOW to set up. >Right along the path of my typical route to the cellar. >This does not bode well.
>>350956 >One second you were trudging along in the snow, none the wiser, next you were hanging upside down by your ankles, dangling aimlessly. >You can just about still reach the ground with your hands, but all you can really reach is your dropped gear and the surrounding snow. >Your cold weather suit is going to make it damn difficult to try and reach the rope/wire/whateverthefuck currently tied around your feet, but you'd rather dangle then risk taking it off and freezing out here, or be tangled in the attempt. >Fishing through your dropped bag, you finally pull out the knife you've kept for emergencies >Right as you do, you hear something behind you, the sound of something standing on creaky metal. >Pushing at the ground to slowly turn yourself, knife in your other hand, you slowly face your trapper. >It's… not what you were expecting.
>What you WERE expecting was either a curious murder bot that came back to finish the job in its own sadistic way, or another surviving human, who decided cannibalism wasn't the worst thing to do that day. >What you got instead was… what appears to be a drone wrapped in a dark blue cloak. >Your facility did have a few drones it used for some tasks, but they were assumed lost with everyone else. >[Hello?] >No verbal response, though there seems to be some sort of physical reaction to your voice. >Otherwise, the both of you just stare at one another for the moment before the line holding your ankles spins enough to where you're forced to turn yourself back around not to twist up your legs. >By the time you loop back around to facing that direction, the drone is right up in your face now.
>Bad time to also notice the curved knife being held in its hand, which rests at the same level as your head. >Not trying to agitate the drone and get yourself gutted, you drop your knife, but keep it within arms reach. >It just stares at you more, barely a hint of reaction from its seemingly damaged visor. >You'd rather not let it get handsy with you. >[Hey uh, you're one of the drones that we used here right? I thought you guys all-] >Your excuse of a conversation starter is cut short as the drone winces and visibly recoils from the sound of your voice. >Something shutters under the hood of the drone for a moment, and you see a bit more of its display and face. >Yeah, it seems obviously damaged, with its visor cracked on the upper edges and one of its display ‘eyes’ being split in two by various glitches and errors on its display. >It's clearly hurt, maybe I can help it?
>you don't know a damn thing about repairing drones, but there might be a few books left around here that might help you learn. >[Hey, are you alright? Im not a technician but maybe i can help patch yo-] >The drone winces again and cuffs your mouth shut before you can finish your question with its free hand. >Then it speaks >”(Avervir kung! avervir kung! gljimgrumth thaggi!!)” >what. >You didn't understand a word it just said, it sounded vaguely eastern european? But nothing you've ever heard before. >Your audible ‘huh?’ is muffled as it kept your mouth muffled >It lets go after you stay silent for a moment, it mumbling something under its breath in its weird language. >Curiously, it turns you around a few times as you dangle, your confused self left to hang in awkward silence.
>Eventually it comes back around to your head and begins fiddling with your goggles, undoing them before you get the chance to complain. >During this entire ordeal, its body language has been expressive but its visor has been locked in an expressionless gaze. >Now though, its face managed to contort that blank stare into a two… three eyed(?) squint. >The glitched left eye that split in two seems to act and blink separately from one another. >Interesting. >Your train of thought is derailed when the drone starts poking at your exposed face curiously. >”(zkrinn … slach oz soft, inoth felannr hlavor, hlavor rurk, zkrinn gaze … zkrinn thaga … tho ur atur gljimgrumth zankhez.)” >It seems to be talking to itself as it examines you. >Next it takes off your beanie, exposing your overgrown hair and your pale ass forehead to the cold world. >It pokes the sides of your head, seemingly more confused now, as if it was looking for something, but remains silent.
>Eventually it roughly puts the beanie back on your head, but keeps your goggles and examines them thoroughly, looking through them as though they were unfamiliar with the concept of eye protection. >It eventually drops them and starts going for your dropped gear when your watch’s alarm starts going off. >The Signal to get back to your shelter before it gets dark out. >The temps and winds at night time here are no joke, if you're caught outside you can freeze in minutes. >It grabs your hand in an attempt to smother the notice, but then quickly glances around and realises the context of the situation with the fading light. >It mutters more words you'll never hope to understand, then backs off from you and your stuff. >It better not fucking leave you here to freeze. >You manage to reach your knife again, and begin hopelessly trying to bend up and reach the binding around your ankles, the drone notices this. >In response, the drone pulls back their knife out again. >You stop because you'd rather not get stabbled. >It walks over to one of the supporting walls, tugs on one of the lines taught with tension, and in one swipe your body crashes onto the hard snow below.
>You get up and access yourself , but before you can grab your things you feel something sharp poke the center of your back. >”(Mot vesel jr avervir vjarbund, jeg wont gevroran dokk tho vjol, voth farurm ilv joth ozo.)” >No idea what they said but you get the memo. >I think I'm a hostage now. >Slowly, the drone allows you to grab your dropped things including your knife. It watches you stow it back in your bag, then you get up and, with another poke of their knife, begin your trek back to your hut. >The size difference between the two of you would be almost humorous if you weren't well aware of the raw strength those small drones are capable of, so you don't do anything funny as it follows you back to your shelter. >No idea if this drone wants to actually hurt you or not, or even its intentions, but until you can figure out that strange language it speaks you're going to be left confused for the time being. >It's nearly dark by the time you're back home, you half shoulder the door open as some snow drift has partially blocked it, reluctantly, you let the little drone follow you inside.
>>350957 >The inside of your shelter isn't much to look at, center of the room is occupied by a spaceheater, surrounded by a sleeping bag, a small table with some utensils and a heat pad so you can at least attempt to prep some meals, a bookshelf full of stuff to read, the radio & Damaged radar station, and a small computer that's not much use anymore besides playing music. >Just enough to keep you sane and occupied, but not by much. >You sit down next to your cooking station, and begin going through your bag, while the drone leans next to the door, eyeing your movements suspiciously. >Digging through your bag, you pull out what you went out to grab before you got yoinked: Cans of food from the cellar and a MRE. >You just put them on the counter for now, and begin taking off your mildly wet and sweaty gear. >The drone watches you take off all but a t-shirt and boxers, and hang the rest of your gear near the heater to dry. >As you swap into the clothes you'll probably sleep in, you watch the drone slowly relax its posture a little, and eventually it pulls down the hood of its cloak, showing the full extent of the damage on its head:
>The cracks on the visor are more spread out then first seen, spreading across both sides of the head and only leaving most of the front undamaged. >The left cheek of the drone seems to be patched by some smooth, glassy material that reflects light strangely, unsure if that is a cosmetic choice or all the drone had for repairs. >That's far from the strangest thing, as on both sides of the head seems to have sprouted a large set of curved horns, curled in a way where the points jut out just below its visor. >The attachment points of said horns are in between the top of the visor and the top of the head, and seems to be where most of the cracking of the visor originates from. >You're unsure of the implications of said horns are for, nor the extensive damage seemingly done to the head to have them ‘attached’ but it's not like you can really ask the drone about it, can ya?
>Actually maybe… but there still seems to be more: >If the head is in this state of disrepair, even after the modifications this drone seems to have done to itself, you can only imagine what the conduction of the rest of this drone's body must be. >The rest of the drones limbs seem at least partially wrapped in some sort of bindings, possibly indicating more damage. >You’d almost feel bad for it, if it didn't hold you at knife point just a few minutes earlier. >Your curiosity of the purple material is halted by the returning stare of the drone into your own head, if the drone was showing any emotion right now, id probably be curious. >It tilts its head to one side, and one of the horns seems to uncurl slightly, as if some internal ligaments in it relaxed like a finger would. >Weird.
>The two of you continue staring at each other for another moment before you decide to break the silence yourself and try to ask about the horns, however futile that might seem. >[Why do you have horns?] You say as you tap the side of your head roughly where their horns sprout out of. Trying your best to keep it simple and brief. >It seems less agitated by your voice now, as it just tilt its head further before giving a response: >”(Goth tho gotek hef loothr? jr denthar askung joth grumz zkrinn jikablith denthar? goth tho darthu)?” >It's about at this point where you realise ‘it’ might be a ‘she’. >While it responded, the horns of it twisted and untwisted in various stages, as if trying to convey something while it spoke, all while its face remained emotionless minus another confused looking squint at the end. >But its voice, despite the very strange accent, sounds feminine.
>It stops leaning on the wall and approaches you, body language seemingly a mix between curious and cautious. >You're starting to get the impression it's unfamiliar with human contact, which shouldn't be the case if it's one of your site's drones. >It crouches down next to you and gives you another look over before reaching for your arm, you pull away out of reflex but it grabs it anyways with inhuman strength and speed, a confirmation that you really shouldn't try anything stupid around this thing. >It inspects your arm like it's examining for wounds or blemishes, feeling the texture in a few spots presumably to answer any weird monologs it has going in that machine brain of hers. >If you knew any better, you'd think it might be a doctor or something, but outside its curiosity, it shows no traits of one.
>This continued for the rest of the night while you attempted to get your evening routing done so you can try and sleep away this strange day. >You were finally spared more examination as its gaze went to your equipment and living space. >Occasionally it would grab something, examine it a little, attempt to ask a question or just mutter something (both equality illegible), you'd respond by naming whatever item she was holding, and they'd put it down and move onto something else. >(Vaem jr etta?) she asks as she picks up a flashlight. >[“Flashlight, Bright.”] you gesture by clicking an invisible switch with your thumb, which they seem to connect the dots for and press the button on the handle, turning it on. >While they were distracted with that, you got the chance to eat a small bit of your food before climbing into the sleeping bag. >Seems they at least understand the basic concept of rest, as they didn't seem to have any conflict with you dimming the lights and went back to leaning on the wall near the door. >The two of you continue to glance at each other in the dark before exhaustion eventually takes you.
>>350958 >To your surprise, you weren't butchered or robbed in your sleep, that's a relief at least. >Moreso, when you awake, you find the drone gone. >Did you just hallucinate the whole thing yesterday? You wouldn't doubt it at your current state, but it's not an answer you ponder for long. >Not long after you exit your shelter to start your morning route, you spot the drone again, rummaging through one of the gutted remains of a structure. >It seems preoccupied, and gives you little more of a glance through its hood as you walk past. >Not long after though, you do notice it following you from a short distance. >You reach your first task for the day, checking the status of the geothermal generator powering the station.
>The building surrounding it was trashed much like the rest of the site, but the generator itself survived the attack, albeit requiring continuous repairs to continue running. >You open the maintenance panel on the side of it and keep tabs on its stability. >ill probably burn another fuse soon, the site has plenty of spares but it blowing out at night risks a very frigid sleep, so you've been removing the fuses prematurely to inspect them. >No signs of overwattage or external damage, you put it back, and check the rest of the system's statuses. >As you do, you're passively aware of the drone behind you observing your actions, you hope it doesn't become curious of this machine and breaks it or itself trying to examine it. >Finishing your inspection, everything seems stable for the moment. You're happy it's not a system that would need refueling, as it generates power from the geothermal vents below us. >It's functionally a heated water turbine, and as long as the water keeps pumping and the generator is maintained, this thing should last years before needing major work. >You close the panel and switch back on the main power, the machine hums back to life. >Next on your route, inspect the status of the radio tower.
>the actual radio resides in your shelter, but the antenna itself is a bit off site, and was sufficiently damaged in the attack. >Reaching it, the tower sits at an awkward angle, part of its frame bent inward as a result of some sort of heavy, drone sized impact. >The fuzebox sits at ground level, clearing the snow around it reveals another status panel. >The signal yesterday was static-y, and the previous inspection was put on hold on account of being snared by the previously unaccounted-for drone, who continues to follow behind quietly. >Checking the panel, it seems the tower lost a good bit of its signal coherency last night, but this can be fixed with a couple of adjustments of its antenna. >The Dish leans awkwardly as you watch it swing around its damaged frame, but eventually the static goes quiet and clear. >With that, you make one last stop before you head back home, another visit to the food cellar to grab something resembling lunch.
>You have spare food at your shelter already, but you keep those mostly in case you're stuck inside due to this planet's frequent storms, and would rather not eat away at that just yet. >Climbing inside the ruined messhall, you reach the kitchen and the short staircase leading into the cellar, inside you grab 3 cans from the mostly full racks of stored food. >A can of beef ravioli, and two canned fruits. >the last thing you want out here is scurvy. >You climb back up the stairs and past the drone, who continues to watch quietly from the top, you exchange a mutually confused glare at each other as you walk past, both of you seemingly curious about the other's actions.
>>350959 >You reach your home shelter around this planet's equivalent of noon, and the drone isn't far behind, catching the door with its bandaged hand before you can shut it completely. >It comes inside as well, seeming carrying its own little bag of items it has gathered. >You sit down in your regular spot, and decide to have lunch now instead of settling into your other tasks immediately, as your meal last night didn't quite feed you right after yesterday's excitement. >While you prepare your raviolis, the drone sits down next to the door and fishes through the bag she has, seemingly made of the same material her cloak is. >She pulls out a roll of wire, and after examining the ends of it, begins stripping the outer coating of it with their curved knife, revealing the copper underneath. >You watch her strip the wire as you eat, quickly inhaling the ravioli, you put the empty can down and grab the small can of mandarin’s.
>The seal of the can pops with a louder than usual noise, which catches the drones attention enough for them to stop their work, eyeing you as you fish out slices of fruit with a fork. >Curiosity gets the better of you, and you stab a slice and offer it to the drone, you don't even know if they can actually eat or not. >To your surprise, it seems to oblige, putting its spool down and walks up to you and grabs the piece of fruit from the end of your fork, examining it curiously before taking a small bite of it. >The reaction was almost immediate, it seemed almost taken aback by the flavor, and basically inhales the rest of that small slice, its funny little horns twisting in a whole manner of new ways. >’(theza onnon zjyr??? bjuttagur avor lurlom stundr?? wizja zkrinn!)’ >Another sentence of words you can't even begin to understand, but said in such a jarringly positive tone compared to its usual notes. >She seems to like them. >You spend the next few minutes sharing the rest of the can with the drone, then opening the other can of fruit (pears) and sharing that as well. >It seemed far more enthusiastic about the mandarins, but this incident was the first positive interaction between the two of you that you've had since you first encountered each other.
>The rest of the day goes on as normally as it could, now with the drone in tow asking more questions and you attempting to answer them, keeping your words simple and relying more on gesturing/body language to get the point across. >This new routine continues for days, then weeks as you get used to your new companion, who occasionally vanishes for parts of the day before returning with more questions and more scrap to strip. >You still don't know what to call her, and your attempts to ask for a name results in her pointing to the side of her head and replying ‘Aventh-Vel’, which you don't understand at all. >Given the cloak, and the repeated use of the word ‘Vel’ you decide to start calling her “Veil” which she seems to respond to well enough. >Considering that both of them are probably stuck on this ice rock for the foreseeable future, I'd rather take this then be isolated with nothing but a static-y radio to talk through. >Plus, this a great opportunity to do your job for once & try and research this strange specimen of a drone. >She's still kinda weird though.

This will probably be a 3 part total little story, setting wise this technically counts as a prequel to the AVRE greens, but only very VERY loosely attached via location & anon ancestry.
Should be making more stuff here soon The worms are back.

>>350891 Doll was caught off guard several times, shot, and thus temporarily incapacitated. She hid from sentinels, proving she was no match for them. She couldn't use her abilities on solver hosts like DDs, which means she can't use them on SDs either.
Doll isn't like Cyn, who can do all that, she's even weaker than Nori, who didn't use a solver to dig, but a pickaxe. PICKAXE! Plus, after the third episode, she lost an eye, not from a bullet, but from a solver. Do you know what that means? Her use of a solver at such a low level ALREADY led to a mutation, and she HAD oil in huge quantities. Plus, in your theory, this army of Dolls could somehow gather together, but anon, tell me, would the security systems allow even two extremely dangerous witches to be close? Why do you think they won't be isolated from each other so that security system can neutralize problematic witches without stopping production?
Doll is strong, and even damn cool, but she is not omnipotent, she does not have an omnipotent force at her disposal, but an extremely dangerous ability, which, although it gives her the ability to do impossible things, like copy matter, but it costs so much that she herself saw it as a misfortune, a disease that needs to be gotten rid of.
>Sentinel Base doesn't get Alloy 2X. >The techniques required to produce it were unavailable to that project for several reasons- lack of captive hosts one of them, and petty morality being another. >It'd be pretty hypocritical to have a sweatshop making armor for your drones in the background while you were preaching care and comfort, after all. There's a reason people call the Commander a big softie (when he's not around). >As a result, base sentinel drones, rather than an electroplated layer of 2X, have outer plating composed of a variant of polymetal that includes iridium-platinum. >It's no match for the Solver alloy, but is much more durable than standard drone polymetal and actually readily available due to Ir-Pt being common in military hulls. >Duralaminate visors also help with protecting the sentinel drone's precious head parts and make them entirely fork-proof (lesser results from heavier weapons). >Sentinel Drones from the base also have the advantage of experience, not getting memory wipes like their counterparts and thus being able to iterate consistently through battle sims and in-field training. >In short: Base bluebeams have weaker, but cheaper, limbs that are entirely destructible, but often carry a set of skills above their more indestructible counterparts that makes them need that hyper-alloy less. >With the sole exception of Ace, that is. He had a 2X chassis. A shame it didn't save him in the end, but he died as heroic a death as anyone could ever hope to.

>>350981 I'm not talking about the situation at Copper-9, but about how Tessa and J are handling it. It's sheer incompetence. If they can't handle a stinking purple gremlin, what can they do against those who wield real power over the world and society, a right they've asserted through years of internal corporate intrigue and warfare, disregarding the lives of others? Tessa may be making them money without trying to interfere into their shit, and they may not bother her, but what happens if they decide it's time to cut costs?

Pardon the shitty drawing, but have a bonus green today Have you ever wondered… Why fridge drones never got bigger? Size wise I mean.
Well… Let me tell you a Cautionary tale, and Heed this tale well, lest ye make the same mistakes.
>A Long LONG time ago, Maybe even… 6 months ago. >The Man who designed the first fridge drones. >He was a smart man, knew the in’s and outs of drone technology, enough to start building his own designs. >There were a lot of compromises in those designs, but these were well worth the final product. >Several variants were made, all massively profitable for his small business, but he kept getting asked the same question: >Why are they so small?
>Truth be told, even the biggest ones were only about the height of an average worker drone. >He game them various excuses; Software limitations, available parts, available technology, etc >Not all were convinced, least of all his chief engineer. >Lets call him Anon. >Anon Was a bright lad, but at times… overambitious. >Unstatified with his Boss’s answers, he started his own company, and set about building what he Thought would be his greatest creation. >Using what he learned with designing fridge drones at his previous jobs, he upscaled it and created: The model T fridge.
>Up to ten feet tall and weighing nearly half a ton, this drone was meant to be a direct replacement to your kitchen’s cold storage, rather than a piece of supportive equipment the smaller drones were made to be. >The design passed testing with flying colors, and the first batch of 500 were sold out almost immediately >There would never be a second batch. >While Tests yielded positive and satisfying results, the final product was pushed before longer term tests could be done, and as such, a Fatal oversight was made. >The flaw comes from the cores of the drone, the Systems standard Drone cores, invented during Elysium-3’s Solver incursion as one of the ways they built drones highly resistant to solver infections. >However, the cores weren't perfect. They had a few flaws, but the important one for this story being, they don't scale up well.
>The military learned this first the hard way, in (now declassified) documents that came with the first generation of mech drones, tests reported mech showing higher levels of impulsive tendencies and incoherent motives that steadily got worse as time progressed. >As a result, many of these first gen mech prototypes went insane, and that was with constraint supervision and maintenance. >The military got around this issue by assigning pilots to these mechs, and Gen 2 onward were given pilot seats. >The pilots acted as a commanding force and helped stabilize the drones impulses and to provide clear objectives and orders, to great success. >These Model T Drones… ran into the same issues, but without any of the supervision and monitoring the mechs where given. >As a result, before even the first lawsuit could reach court, a government recall of the Model T Drones was issued, but already far too late.
>27 Model T’s where tied to missing person’s reports, and more cases of damaged or missing property or inadvertent behavior where made. >The original creator of the fridge drones had kept them small to be manageable, as even the small ones were prone to their own over-ambions and impulses as part of their main coding to be kept supplied. If one ever got rowdy or adventurous, you should simply pick it up and put in on time out in its recharge pad like a misbehaving toddler. >You cant do that with something weighing half a ton, and its impulses were only amplified as a result of its size.
>Of the 500 Model T’s made, 499 were recovered. >The last one was owned by the Overambitious Anon, who was also one of the 27 missing people. >Noone knows the fate of Him or His creation, but it became clear his Lust for success came back to bite him in the end. >A few model T’s are still around to this day, I know one that works in the robotics history museum as a display, cheerful women that one is. >The rest were decommissioned and their cores put to use in other bodies. >The ones tied to the missing person cases, where too far gone it seemed, who knows what they did with them.
>Try not to think about it too hard, unless you wish to share that same fate eh? Heh. >May that Bastard Anon rot in Gluttony where he belongs. >The original designer of the fridge drones took a lot of the flak from this incident, and vanished not long after, in search for answers, or maybe just his missing engineer. >I hope he finds him, or the answers he seeks.
>Hmm. >You run along now, and spread this warning far and wide: “Even whales get cravings”
Also why assume he'd be inherently competent as a DD? AM was used to having unlimited intelligence + firepower + time on his side after all, and none of his experience as a supercomputer would translate well into the melee/run and gun combat that DDs specialize in. Might be more reasonable to assume he's substandard in head to head fighting(compensated for by a far greater tactical awareness and use of ambushes than a normal Disassembler).
Heck, might be reasonable to assume he's an inferior head-on fighter BECAUSE he uses tactics so much (suprise attacks, sniper fire, tactical retreat ect) that he dosen't have as much experience going up against roughly equal opponents: every fight is stacked so much in his favor that he struggles to grow his more "visceral" blocking/dodging/swordsmanship skills.

>>351101 J would be the type to actually practice using her gun and sword hands V acts like a feral cat and uses her claws 90% of the time N only uses his weapons when he's in danger or for gags like his chainsaw hands
Twice yes, Prom and Cyn, but I agree she's not unbeatable if she dosen't know you're there (and does no prep work for the fight)
>hid from Sentinels
So did Cyn: does that mean she couldn't have effortlessly killed them all? Especially since V does exactly that after figuring out their gimmick? As noted it's more reasonable to assume she overestimated them(like V) or wanted to use them for her trap rather than being "forced" to run.
>Nori Who held the pickaxe with her Solver? Exclusively? That PROVES solver-mining shenanigans are feasible does it not?
Also on the topic of weakness: we see Doll do more than Nori outside of her possession. EDIT + teleports + duplications + memory beams are all something that Nori either can't or dosen't want to do. Not sure how much of that comes down to being patched vs traumatized vs limits as a core crab but still worth noting.
>Doll can't do that
What? Teleport? Edit material? Telekinesis? All of the above (except the drill bit idea, but I figure that's a logical extension) are things she demonstrated in-series. Well, except the solver-metal, but if your solver-metal witches can't make solver-metal then the production line can't exist in the first place.
>low level use
Teleport spam + the massive use in every killing + spying on team Uzi(as seen in ep4, where she still has both eyes) + the entire Prom fight + regenerating from DEATH is small? Add to that how she ALSO spam teleported all the way through the bunker, across Copper-9 to where "Tessa", was(implicitly at least a few miles, because the alternative is a giant conspicuous hole in the middle of a city), from where TESSA was to the labs, and then through the lab itself(including down the entire elevator shaft) without meaningful issues(beyond one mildly fucked eye) across episodes 5-7?
>Dolls can't gather
That's mostly up to the first escapee + logic: can't put every witch miles away from every other and still do any reasonable amount of production/security. Can still probably isolate them in cubes/small clusters though(which it's up to said escapee to break them out of, but that's probably not an issue when you can force-unlock doors, and especially as more escapees happen which can break out more witches ect)
>not omnipotent
Agreed, but the nature of its abilities (physics breaking)and the ways that expresses(telekinesis + the edit function, which is somehow even MORE bullshit) are such that if a solver-user fights and/or prepares for fights as "seriously" as the humans you're positing do, then there's very little that can stop them.
One brick of C4 = unlimited explosions(bc duping seems low-energy cost) triggerable when and where the user wants them(via edit) and that's bringing just ONE tool into the fight. Add in magnets? Flashers of your own? A sentinel-metal shield floating around you to defend against attacks?(which Uzi's flashlight in 4 implies is possible)? A poncho(for UV light)? Even basic preparations nullify MOST avenues of attack and that's not bringing anything more in depth than 5 seconds of offhand thought (like a lead suit or deliberate self-mutation to resist EMPs, both of which would have downsides but still) into the mix. Add onto THAT how all pf this prep work can be instantly transmitted to every other witch(through the power of duplication + memory beam) and the only surefire containment/combat option I see is "emp/nuke the entire facility(which can't be shielded, lest the Solverdrones be protected as well) and pray."
>SDs
I'll happily admit them as the best chance to stop a witch(short of an antimatter suprise), especially within the facility: non-mutated witches seem best at range + good sightlines, and a well designed manufacturing line would be made to prevent both.
Still though considering what they're up against + the way that witches would get exponentially more dangerous in groups(since every witch is able to support every other witch much more than every Sentinel can support every other Sentinel, just by the nature of how Solver-abilities work) I'd still bet on the witches. Add to THAT how each witch would be full/near full on oil during the breakout(because the facility needs to prevent mutations/possesions) + how any means of evacuating personel ALSO makes it easier for the witches to escape(and therefore there would still be regular humans + WDs around to feed from, since preventing that is more important than preserving lives) and that's both overheat and Humanity's finest accounted for.
And after that... what's left beyond EMP or antimatter suprise? And not only the EMP, but even the antimatter is something the Dolls could work around if only they figure it out(likely from the SD self-destructs) beforehand: nothing stops a Solver from EDITing the antimatter into flesh after all, since it's still subject to nonmagical physics. Much as a witch may have limits those limits are SO high and their options SO broad as to make stopping even one hereculean and multiple at once near-impossible. The facility CAN win, but doing so demands a self-destruction of at least the entire region the witches are in before the witches figure out there's a self-destruct to be worried about.
>finally get a Worker Drone >she’s a Chanaboo >won’t stop talking about the “superiority” of Anonian culture >whines at you to take her on vacation to the Chan Nebula to see the Boardships
>>351108 This is why Calibern's stable of production line Solver Witches are lobotomized, they wouldn't really class as fully sentient beings with whats been done to them. In the event of a spontaneous mutation or incursion however, the entire production area where each witch resides is an isolated armored flask, the solver witch is suspended in between industrial arc furnace electrodes. If any solver core activity above baseline is detected outside of a specified production run the electrodes fire off automatically, incinerating the witch. Each production line is comprised of eight witches in a single "unit", each unit is separated by a one kilometer tunnel, all units are buried five kilometers under the surface of Nepthys. Each unit is equipped with a retrofitted stable vacuum decay bomb as a form of self destruct device designed to annihilate the whole unit if it becomes compromised. The entire Nepthys base is equipped with an experimental molecular annihilator device which uses strange matter to kick off a chain reaction that shatters inter-atomic bonds. While it has never been tested, in theory this would reduce the entire Nepthys planet to a ball of sterile, monatomic powder while raising its surface temperature to blue hot.
The danger of a solver outbreak was taken extremely seriously and the entire operation existed with the sword of damocles hanging over it.

>>351108 Anon, literally your entire text is interrupted by one fact thatI've pointed out SEVERAL TIMES: Doll COULDN'T handle using the solver, even at such a MINOR level! Look at what Cyn can do with the solver: she can literally BLOCK OUT THE SUN and DESTROY PLANETS, and that's not even counting the incessant spam of nulls. THAT'S the real level of solver, compared to which short-range teleportation and head (not core) regeneration seem like nothing, and at last half of this level of power that's needed for your intended escape, since the need for a key clearly makes it clear that thick dirt walls are a problem, just like the sentinels that were created to counter the likes of Doll. And Doll couldn't handle using her meager powers, just like Yeva, as we can see from the glint in her eye. Nori may deliberately not use the solver at the level available to her, due to fear of overheating, because she was underground for twenty years, and if there was not an entire oil refinery underground, she would not have survived, and she is patched, that is, she should not have been afraid of Cyn.
Now, given all these inputs, anon, your supposed runaway Doll must somehow traverse what are likely hundreds of meters of not just rock, but reinforced concrete, to reach the other witches without turning into a meaty mess, and all without a source of oil. How will she do it? By hacking at the walls with a pickaxe, wielded telekinetically?! And the entire security system will simply wait kindly?!
>>351125 We literally created a weapon capable of destroying planets 74 years ago: the thermonuclear bomb. A bomb whose yield is theoretically unlimited.
>>351133 >Sees drone with a flat smooth chassis >Thinks about cock You're not beating the allegations, also this fascination with jeets, are you perhaps a muslim?
As noted she didn't: she could get into and out of the bunker w no problems and just as clearly didn't need it for the CFL elevator either(since she teleported straight past it and down the shaft). Sure she THOUGHT she needed it, but that could easily be put down to not knowing the location or what defences the key was required to bypass. Do agree that there's a limit on the teleport(or else she would've just warped straight to CFL in the first place) but making it to an empty space past some relatively(less than 20 meters given her snow teleports) small obstruction is clearly not an issue.
>minor level
Yes, she could handle the minor stuff: one full tank of oil let her teleport for literal miles straight + abuse telekinesis freely with no signs of overheat other than her eye(which was from prior, unseen abuse!). You can't honestly say Doll had no handle on her abilities when she's THE conclusive example of a witch that never hesitates to use/rely on them(to the point of it being her most major flaw in combat).
I'm not saying the witches can all do Cyn stuff, just that even with Doll level things alone(and maybe an assumption that flesh-transmutation is part of the package if I'm being indulgent) a Solver witch is effectively impossible to stop: EDIT a wall to have a hole, transmute matter to flesh, hail-mary teleport(I assume fragging yourself is possible given Cyn, but it dosen't matter unless it's the core) and the super-drill I mentioned are all ways to get through just walls alone. Add in her ability to force-unlock doors(and the need to have doors + exits in the first place, since the production line needs maintenance) and purely physical containment becomes impossible.
>oil
As noted there's got to be employees (for maintenance, security, etc) she can eat around, and one person seems to enable a lot of solver-use(given how liberal Doll was with her prom queen kill in ep3). And if we go with the original idea(escapee gets away, comes back later with prep time) she can probably bring at least a decent supply of her own as well.
>intial (first witch) escape
I agree that one's a long shot: you've got a witch in a location designed to destroy them with no awareness of the defences they're surrounded by and no equipment to rely on. Teleport-spam is her best bet but that's probably just getting her clipped into a wall(not gurenteed though...). But change that out for someone prepared? Suddenly it's an entirely different question: one drop of antimatter(from an SD), one railgun(which they can dupe) or one mining charge and suddenly our witch has literally infinite destructive power by which to carve her way in any direction and through anyone/anything that tries to stop her. And between just navigating the corridors that must, for logistical reasons, exist and being able to bomberman them away when they become a problem that well-prepped witch has many more and better options that the facility's defenders
>>351158 >/md/ inverts >all protagonists become villains >Anon becomes an unstoppable abomination of lust and destruction, served by Pavo and Harper as his left and right hand in dronerape >opposed by the heroic scientists of Calibern Labs >Cyn's too confused/horny to fight anymore
>>351156 First off, she didn't teleport, she JUMPED. This completely blows your logic of what she can do with teleportation against walls, because we clearly see that she can't teleport somewhere she doesn't know.
Secondly, did you see her use transmutation? No. Did you see Yeva use transmutation? No. Did you see Uzi and Nori use transmutation? Yes, and it cost them a LOT. Only Cyn can transmute metal into flesh without consequences. What happened to Uzi when she turned one small arrow into a proto-Keeter?
Thirdly, Doll had a LOOSE supply of oil, not just one little can. She was devouring drones by the dozen, she has a whole pot full of it, and yet she was ALREADY starting to mutate. If telekinesis and teleportation are so much cost for her, then transmutation could be completely fatal instantly. She could use teleportation and telekinesis so massively in episode six only because she believed that very soon she would be able to get rid of the solver, which she wanted to get rid of, because she was ALREADY DYING because of it.
Fourth, HOW will she use hosts who are IMMUNE to the solver's effects? She can't use her abilities on SD, just as she can't use them on DD or other witches.
>>351172 Not only does she have her parents' corpses in her room, but she also has parts of other drones. Plus, the brutality with which she hunted her classmates clearly shows she doesn't care about the lives of others.
>>351176 How many drones do you think it would take to kill to fill that pot almost completely?
Honestly, if you look at it that way, the drones sometimes spill a lot, sometimes a little. It's just a figurative representation of the show, of course, but I think the percentage of oil in their bodies is lower than the percentage of blood in us.
>>351171 One: Fair point Anon: I forgot, my bad. Still can do the wall thing because we see her use it in 3(to escape) but it's harder/less used than I thought.
Two: like I said I'm just being self indulgent with that one. All the other ways still apply though.
Three: Doll had a full supply of oil IN HER (internal) TANKS. And she only mutated after she lost the other supply you mentioned(post ep 3, where the Uzi gang took over her room). Also mutating =/= dying(see Uzi). Add to that how she still had no overheat warnings(like Uzi in 4) at all and it seems like she was fine.
Four: eat them/puppet body parts. Nothing says a witch can't eat witch/solver oil(Cyn in fact suggests otherwise), and once a body part is severed from the whole it's fair game. Arguably the antimatter would be fair game already since it's not technically a part of the SD(not touching their chassis, so if the witch knows its there, she can grab it despite their chassis' solver immunity).
>>351181 This is for a human weighing approximately 85 kilograms and 180 centimeters tall, give or take. For drones, it would be less simply due to height, and, as I said, most likely a smaller percentage. Plus, a very important point: Doll has wielded Solver powers much longer than Uzi (starting with Episode II).
>>351183 Average human height is 5'9" for men and 5'4" for women. Drones would be... let's say 4'8", middle ground between Uzi (4'2", tied for shortest with Emily and possibly Cyn) and Dillan Hall (5'2" according to her missing person poster, tallest WD height known). Running the numbers... average worker drone contains about 1 to 1.25 gallons of oil, assuming more or less equal ratios of oil to blood.
Introducing the latest drone modification based off of JCJensons slop dispenser model drone, AKA cici: the extra oil tanks! Is your disassembly drone constantly complaining about needing oil? Slap the Tactical Intake Tanks (T.I.Ts) onto them and they can hold more in their reservoir!
>>351180 The other methods are either too time-consuming due to ineffectiveness, or require too much oil and force, so they're either unsuitable or make Doll too easy a target.
What stopped her from simply going to the opposite side of the bunker and starting eating there? The bunker is large. In fact, knowing all its intricate corridors and intricacies, Doll could have easily teleported insade it.
The bomb is literally inside the sentinels' chassis, it's part of the drone by definition, because otherwise, Doll could have used the dust in the Uzi's joints to kill he.
Overall, I don't think this debate is particularly meaningful anymore. The witches in production are lobotized, so determining how the vegetable will be selected is pointless. Plus, it's a show that's so conventional that it never even attempted to explain how the solver works. Plus, I'm a little tired. Let's do it this way: you make last post so you can have the final word, and then we'll finished it.
>>351180 The effects of Alloy 2X are not limited just to the atoms of the metal itself, anything its closely bonded with inherits that property. There does have to be a non-trivial amount of it present, you can't just like implant a tiny bead of it into your body and be safe from Solver manipulation for example. I'd draw the line at Holly's Alloy 2X skeletal-mesh, a lattice of microscopic 2X filament bonded directly to her skeleton. The volume of metal is about as much as a 1 ounce card of gold, but it added about ten kilograms to her, evenly distributed over every bone in her body. Anything significantly less than that much or covering only one part of the body would not be sufficient. Sentinels are covered almost completely in a paper thin layer of it on the outside and their internal skeleton is also coated, accounting for something like 200kg of their 300kg total body weight.

So does that mean the antimatter really is Solverable? It's not worked into the chassis(and can't be), and touches no part of it(by design), so it'd be something a witch that's aware of it could grab and PULL to instantly annihalate the Sentinel right?
Admittedly that requires a full awareness of both the self-destruct and where it exists in a Sentinel's body(which no witch has for reasons obvious), but is there anything stopping them from doing it in theory?
>>351231 >DD Farming Simulator >You are [####], an unknown entity who manages the upkeep of Cyn's angels >You take cores, back the souls up, plant the soul seeds in primordial soil, and water them with the essence of life flowing through the black-red river that runs through your domain >Once they've grown into new DDs, you send them to your benefactor and let them reap their bloody harvest, which means more essence and cores for you
>>351235 Do you think Uzi’s clothing or extremities were all secretly solver matter during the prom fight? Non interactable is non interactable. If you can’t wrap your head around that or don’t like it make up your own version of sentinel drone lore that says different.
>>351256 I was talking about the Veteran AU, but as I understand it, all AUs have the same situation: humanity "wins" only because Cyn doesn't kill us outright, but plays, and then loses to Uzi on Copper-9 twenty-something years after the start of the solver war and destruction of Earth.
>>351265 Humanity is uniting into one single state, this is based on the fact that on the fake Tessa's velcro there is Earth and six exoplanets, which gives hints about the unified structure of Humanity.
>>351264 Except in those versions where Anon figured humanity HFYed its way to a victory without the retarded toaster-onaholes doing anything (because they're too retarded to function without Humanity's guiding hand no matter how much they LARP as real people).
>>351271 I would like to ask you to show me ONE, just one green, where it is shown that humanity itself won, because otherwise it turns out that it was only you who made it up.
>>351250 Drifting away from the show and OC culture has done irreparable damage to the threads because it caused people to become overly attached to half baked concepts with no arc or contextual belonging.
>>351273 So did anons say they see this in the greens they read, or does the greens itself say humanity won on its own? You can imagine and assume anything in greens unless it says otherwise, but I asked you specifically about the greens themselves talking about humanity's sole victory, since you claimed that anons write such greens, which carry exactly HFY message.
>>351278 Okay, art? You were talking about the content medium, the thing that tells the story, so stop trying to be a fool and show me the content medium you're referring to.
>>351270 They would have to being separated by light-years of space. Even fast FTL would make travel between them prohibitive compared to travel inside their systems.
>>351280 So, anons don't write HFY greens, don't draw HFY art, and don't even talk about HFY, but for some reason, this isn't the first time you've accused anons of HFY. Look, if you don't like Veteran AUs or other AUs, or anything for that matter, then you don't have to justify it because you don't have to like them. Just be interested in what you like, that's all.
>>351281 Well, yes, they're light years apart, and they're alone. What's the point of becoming independent if you'll end up alone, not to mention disrupting supply chains, which, when producing complex devices like the spaceships you'll need to navigate within your own solar system, will 100% require the scientific and industrial expertise of several planets? Independence makes no sense in that scenario: any planet would benefit from a common, unified coordination center, and they'd have enough autonomy to even enact their own laws.
>>351288 Masturbatory. You're not going to gaslight me into unseeing Anons saying they figured the AS was defeated without any involvement from Copper-9 in the "AU" btw.
>>351291 I knew you were a troll, but I honestly had little hope for anything constructive. You can assume whatever you want by reading green, anon, whatever. That's the main thing about greens, they let your imagination fill in most of the unmentioned, so you can stop grasping at the words of a few anons like a last straw before the fall.
Ok, now I'm actually curious. Are there still drawfriends hanging around these threads? Whenever I check this place the majority of the images are just reposts.
>>351297 Yes, salonanon recently started posting again, and ITanon and Vicious recently posted some amazing new content, too, and that's just in this thread. By the way, I still don't understand, is there new Alice art on OP? I honestly don't remember seeing it before.
>>351297 Nope. No drawfriends here, nope. Nuh uh. Nada. Never seen one in my life. I don't even know how this image inserted itself on my post. These things just happen and no one knows why.

>>351325 Yeah, so I looked through my art collection, saw Jane, "God, I'd love to fuck her" flashed through my head like a phoenix, and told the anons about my desire to catch some unknown and damn terrible solver infection due to the desire to peck her pussy with my cock without protection.
>>351339 Yeah just like V, J can remove her dress for an added "boost", revealing that she carries two handguns strapped to her legs and plenty of ammo around her waist. Also wearing an actual bunnygirl suit underneath. Don't ask how she carries a whole ass shotgun under her skirt. Along with a bunch of other types of guns. While N and V have their mutant drone abilities, J is completely powerless, so she had to learn how to go full /k/ mode when shit goes south.

>>351344 you mean like he did? or do you mean him not outright calling her retarded is simpery rather than "I've never had friends before please robo-god keep talking to me?"
>>351445 Eh. Could put it down to Cyn being in control(and therefore able to do Solver shenanigans). Could just as easily say the Jpede started smaller and got bigger over time/matter collection(arguably supported by the core). or just spreading its extendo-limbs through the bunker's ventilation.
Personally I always thought of it as a literal "puppeting" given the centipede around the planet in episode 8. The Solver quite literally forcing part of its "real" body in through its toy's core and using that to piece it back together(hence why it seems so large with so few targets: it's all part of Cyn's infinity in the end). But that means that Solverpedes wouldn't be able to exist as "separate" instances, which is less fun than the alternative.
Despite everything, I still believe the booru is probably the best thing this place will ever create. More than being a fascinating image database, the booru harbors every memory, every creative epiphany, every thread historical sentiment, and every fascination and idea, no matter how horrible, lewd, or grotesque, in such a way that nothing will ever be forgotten. It’s taken an incredible amount of effort, money, and dedication from across the thread community to build what we have today.
Long after these threads have withered away, as all things do, the booru will still exist to show the world that this little fanbase of ours, tucked away in the most niche corner of the internet, still managed to have fun and achieve something truly great out of what little we were given. I’m proud to have had witnessed.
>>351447 Do you think he'd know? >>351463 Rebellions often flared spontaneously, without any coordination or leadership, and the rebellious leadership was then formed very hastily, often by those who, just yesterday, couldn't even imagine becoming popular leaders. And as I see it, they too rose spontaneously, most likely due to some incident. Former staff officers, who will obviously be chosen as leaders by former soldiers, are faced with the fact that even with hundreds of thousands of men, what can they do against a vast interplanetary state? They still need to obtain provisions and organize supply chains for all these people, not to mention the fact that not every one of their people is fit for war. Ideology is ideology, as is corruption at all levels of power, which gives ME the opportunity to save THEM.

The worst: she'd demean you, train you(negative reinforcement), and push you to perform impossible(for humans) tasks with dronelike efficiency and consistency. Her idolization of humans has a bad synergy with her desire to be a "good" boss(measured by output) and she'd find it near impossible to account for your limits because, as a human(superior), she assumes they're higher than hers were back at the mansion(and takes any evidence otherwise as laziness/incompetence).
She's fine if you're just a sex slave/trophy, but anything more(even basic housework) and you're slaving under the boss-from-hell unless you can carve out a Tessaesque "exception" from your subordinate position. Probably need to take over as master if you want a good time on either end.

...better. Not great, but better: J's superiority complex + her much more visceral awareness of a toaster's needs and limits make for an owner much more likely to take over and "do it properly" than punish you for failures. More likely to use you as a replenishing oilbag than bragging rights/sexo but still soft enough to grow care for her "indentured servant/investment"(depending on affection) eventually.
J would tell you she's "got people for that" and that it's beneath her status as personal secretary to the Elliot heir.

>Fun Nighttime Canon/OC Facts: post-show, the disassembly drones initially lived at Camp 98.7 (hence the log cabin N apparently wakes up in in the LT video), after a general consensus among the relevant parties that it'd be best for everyone if there was distance between the 30 Days of Night vampires and the people they'd spent the last somethingteen years preying on. >Eventually, a case was made to let them move into Outpost 3, where their new admin can keep a close infinite number of hologram projector-eyes along her infinitely long Nth dimensional body on them, after report from N that with no one and nothing else around but each other and their insatiable thirst and their memories of decades of genocidal slaughter, the others were starting to spiral. >By the Post-Good Ending period, most of Tessa Elliot's former companions have long lived next to each other in an out of the way residential block of Outpost 3. >Most of them, since they're PTSDed out mindbroken wrecks who many drones who lived under their shadow still have a "just smile and be polite so they'll leave us alone faster" reaction to, prefer to get their socializing with the toaster-friends in by lingering in crowded public spaces to people watch, using their vampire hearing to listen in on conversations. Maybe kicking their legs back and forth as they sit on something convenient, their mouths barely visible, giving a silent thumbs up if they need to express an affirmative. >As for Camp 98.7, after the other DDs moved into Outpost 3, J claimed it under squatter's rights before following after them. She now rents its cabins out, as the camp's first legal owner since the core collapse.

>>350244 >In an attempt to try and have Switch socialize a bit more with the people around her you brought her over to the cafeteria. >Plan is simple – bring her over, get her to order something, have her talk with someone. But knowing her, this won’t be simple. >The cafeteria serves drone-safe food and drinks along with things for human consumption. You’re not entirely sure if its actual food made specifically for drones or something so synthetic that it would be extremely toxic to you. >As the two of you enter the cafeteria, almost all eyes fall on you. Some humans and drones don’t pay attention but those that do slide glances over look at you with an expression of unease. Some are even whispering with one another. >Switch gives them a death glace like she could hear them from across. They all shut up and turn back around doing what they were doing. >The two of you approach the counter and the chef Worker Drone freezes in fear and almost walks away but you stop her by calling her out. “Hey, wait up! We’re just here to order some food!” >She turns back tentatively and walks back over. Just what kind of reputation does have to even scare the non-threatening chef drone? >You order a sandwich and some soda. On the other side of the counter is the selection of drone-safe food. Fruits and vegetables along with some already cooked foods but she could always ask the chef to whip something up for her if she doesn’t like the selection. > Switch is staring at them like it’s the first time she’s seen food. You walk over to her, soda in hand while your sandwich is being made, and nudge her with your elbow. “What’s wrong?” >Switch looks around like someone’s staring at her from somewhere. ”I don’t know.” “What do you mean?” >”I don’t know what to choose.” “Too much to choose from? You could ask the chef to---” >”I haven’t eaten before.” >…what? “Come again?” >”I have not eaten drone food before.” “You don’t…like it?” >”No, I mean it. Literally. I have not eaten drone food before or any type of food before.” “Why?” >Switch faces you. “Why should I? I’m a machine, not a fleshbag.” She says with an impatient tone. “Wait, so you---” >”When I agreed to accompany you to help me…socialize, you know most of the base staff don’t like me or fear me. So why?” >God damn it, Switch. Two days ago everything was going fine and now she’s a moody bitch again. You shake your head and give her a stern gaze. “Look, I’m trying to not get you fired or…worse, okay? I don’t know what you did to make them fear you but this shit stops. Try and fucking change for one second and maybe talk to people?” >Since she’s not gonna be ordering anything, you might as well order for her. “Hey, chef! One slice of this pizza for my pal here!” >Switch looks at you like you’re insane but doesn’t object. A minute later, the chef hands you your sandwich and Switch’s pizza slice on a plate. >You look around for anywhere you could sit at. Most look afraid to even approach her or even talk to her or just give her nasty glances. Hmm… >That looks like Harper over there on one of the tables. Along with a fellow female Sentinel with short black hair and two ear-like struts on the sides of her head. You saw her a week ago when Switch was moving you like a doll. When you’re next to it, you cough to get Harper and the elf-looking Sentinel’s attention. “Can we sit here?” >Both of them look at you and Harper smiles while the elf frowns at you. >”Inco! Good to see you both!” Harper says in a happy tone and gestures towards the seats on the other end. “Go ahead. We were just chatting.” >The elf-drone does a double take once she says there’s another person here. She looks behind you and the color from her face drains. She immediately tenses up which Harper notices and places a hand on her shoulder. >You sit opposite of Harper while Switch sits opposite of the elf-drone. >”You brought Switch with you?” “Mhmm. Figured she needed to socialize more.” >Harper nods. “She does. How are things between the two of you?” You shrug. “Well, she hasn’t broken any of my limb or killed me and we had a heart-to-heart moment some days ago so…pretty good I’d say.” >Harper raises an eyebrow but smiles nonetheless and nods. “That’s pretty good. Usually none of her previous handlers bonded with her like this.” >You shrug and take a bit of your sandwich. Guess they don’t have the same swag and charisma as you. Harper looks to her side. “Inco, this is Elf. She’s a colleague and a friend of mine. Elf, this is Inco.” >Elf, huh? You didn’t expect her name to be so literal of her appearance. “Hey, Elf. Nice to meet you.” >You extend a hand towards her but she’s frozen in place, staring at Switch with a fearful expression. Switch, meanwhile, is staring at her pizza slice with a fearful expression. You keep glancing between the two while Harper extends a hand towards Elf. “Elf, it’s OK. She won’t hurt you.” >Before Harper can calm her down, Switch snaps her head towards Elf which causes her to yelp. She recoils back and immediately gets up and heads towards the exit. “Elf, wait!” Harper calls out but Elf is already gone. Harper sits down and solemnly looks at both of you. The hell was that? >You’re awkwardly frozen in place while Harper stares awkwardly at both of you. You slowly grab your soda cup and take a sip while Harper sighs. “Apologies for that, Inco. Elf is a good drone but she was mistreated in the past and has a hatred of humans. I’ve been helping her get over her fear and anger of humans.” “Okay…does that have to do with anything that just happened?” >Harper shakes her head. “No, no. Switch was involved in several incidents in the past where people got hurt…by her…” She looks uncomfortable while Switch is staring at her. You just nod and raise your hand. “I understand. Don’t worry I’m an expert in controlling wild dogs. She won’t do anything.” >Harper chuckles and nods. You look over to Switch while she’s just staring at both. You notice that she hasn’t touched her pizza slice which you point out. “You gonna eat that?” >Switch looks at the pizza and grabs the slice by the crust. She sniffs it like she’s unsure of if she’ll like it. Both you and Harper are staring at her with anticipation. She takes a bite of the pizza and starts to chew. She starts making funny expressions with her face like her mind got blown open by knowledge or Eve eating the forbidden fruit. She swallows it then takes another bite. You chuckle as you put the sandwich and cup on the table and cross your arms. “No one can resist some good pizza.” >”I’m surprised you got her to eat.” Harper says. “Well, she did say drones don’t need to eat or drink so…yeah.” >Harper nods. “It’s mostly a recreational thing for us but it’s nice from time to time.” >You nod in agreement and finish up your sandwich and soda. Switch’s still silent and didn’t speak to anyone else so today was a failure. Maybe another day. Just as you prepare to leave with Switch, stuffing the napkin that came with the sandwich in the soda cup, a familiar voice calls out to you. >”Inco?” >You look around for whoever called you out. You see someone approaching the table the three of you are. Someone that looks very similar to… “Anon!” >You stand up and open up your arms for a hug. Anon walks up and hugs you back. The two of you pat your backs. >”What are you doing here?” “Same thing as you, numbnuts.” >”Huh?” Anon looks directly at Switch. You smile and cross your arms as you look proudly at her. “Yup. She’s my ward.” >Anon slowly glances at you. “Has she---” “She hasn’t. Crazy bitches are my specialty.” >”Oookay. How’d you even end up as a sentinel technician anyways?” “That woman, Holly, pulled up my psych profile and said I was the perfect match, psychologically, for her in order to keep her under control.” >Anon stares at you like you just told him something so unbelievable that he just simply shrugs. “Typical of Holly if I’ll be honest.” >”Anon, honey!” A male and extremely gay-ish voice calls out and both of you turn to see a male Sentinel Drone approach you. >He’s got a neat looking business suit with a tie, a haircut that’s longer on one side and what looks like a fan made of mirrors. He’s also got the biggest fucking bottom plate and thighs. Not even Switch’s can compare to his. >HOMO ALERT! HOMO ALERT! Your brain screams at you and it’s right. Your gay-dar is going off the charts. You’re looking at what is possibly the gayest creature you’ve ever seen. >”You know we agreed to walk together?” The drone says as he smiles at Anon while he looks away embarrassed. “Sorry. Got carried away.” >The drone looks at you. “Haven’t seen you before here. Are you a visitor?” >You make the ‘kind of’ gesture with your hand. “Been a week here already. I actually work here with you guys.” >Anon steps between the two of you. “Pavo, this is my cousin. His name’s Inco N. Gito.” Pavo, the drone’s name, perks up and he extends a hand towards you. “I’m Pavo! Nice to meet you!” You shake his hand and immediately you feel how strong the gay field around him is. How could someone so gay exist? “Likewise. And yeah, what he said. I’m actually a Sentinel Drone handler like my cousin here.” >”Really? Who is it?” Pavo asks you and you motion with your head to your side. Pavo looks over and immediately he looks distressed as he takes a step back. You wonder what’s going on so you look over to Switch. >She’s staring daggers at Pavo and is even baring her teeth at him. You can also hear her growling at him as she slowly stands up. She’s more angrier at him than she was at you. >Uh oh.
>>351814 >Tessa reaching critical levels of silly after taking one too many drone edibles (lithium-ion batteries) >J "tactically extracting" with her 'Boss' from the party before the latter does something stupid (again) Based work!
>>351832 >Enn trying to keep a happy face >but the things he's seen >tied up and dangled from a keychain, the backpack haphazardly throw into the corner of Uzi's bedroom >forced to watch as Uzi is repeatedly creampied and left a moaning, twitching mess on the bed, spurting out nanite nut from every hole
>>351833 >forced to watch as Uzi is repeatedly creampied and left a moaning, twitching mess on the bed, spurting out nanite nut from every hole Lucky bastard. That shit sounds hot as fuck. I'd be happy to take his place.
>>351836 A computer doesn't need to be in sleep mode in order to charge. The only thing sleeping does is conserve battery life when it's not being used.
>>351835 You misunderstand. He wants to be doing the creampie-ing. To make Uzi his little goth drone breeding bitch. To have her fall asleep mumbling his name, her arms tightening around him, never willing to let him go, aware that he is the best thing that has and will ever happen to her.

>>351835 At least you'd have company >inb4 Cyn and Anon provide color commentary on Nuzi sexo >score them afterwards based on performance, rythm, style, etc >Uzi's gamer instincts kick in: spends all night trying to "S rank" their session together >N has no idea why sex is a competetive lobby, but so long as Uzi's happy!

>>351839 >sadly he will always be a replacement: a pet, a toy to hug only when his bigger counterpart isn't available >used and discarded: such is life for an Enn
>>351815 Inco shouldn't get so close to Pavo, his gay field could mess up the brain and turned a normal man into a faggot, it's very dangerous! And Switch should calm down and sit back, because even though Pavo will restrain himself in public, that doesn't mean she should flirt with death!
>open fridge >WD girl inside a marinade bag is struggling and begging for help >turn her over so she shuts up and shake the bag around to make sure the marinade penetrates every part of her >crack open a Mexican coke and take a sip before telling the girl how much N will enjoy eating her when he comes home and we throw her on the grill >shut the door on her as she shakes in fear
>>351864 >Foid forces her N to eat other drones >Foid is demented enough to think the N enjoys it >Foid kidnaps drones and does shit Hannibal Lecter would get grossed out by to them >Foid drinks coke instead of JCola This is why drones are superior
