A short blurb about a rough idea I've been rolling around in my head. Definitely interested in exploring different stages/aspects of this at greater detail down the line >Be the Human owner of an independently operated deep space mining company >Company consists of (You) acting as "manager" over a "crew" of a couple dozen Worker Drones >The super-majority of your Workers are (relatively) old and, unlike many of the big corporate mining companies, have NOT been immediately reformatted or trashed the moment they developed an unmistakable 'personality' >Originally the logic behind your decision was coldly pragmatic; (You) could have Worker Drones with the comparatively 'sophisticated' intelligence & wit of a human WITHOUT needing to actually pay them a salary! >As time went on (You) gradually found that working with 'developed' Worker Drones made your isolated job far more engaging (and a whole lot less lonely) than it otherwise would've been, and it isn't long before you start becoming genuinely invested in their well-being >Routine maintenance became more than just gauging the physical wellness of your drones, with the routine morphing to almost mirror an idealist relationship between a 'Doctor' giving their 'Patient' a checkup >Requisition of supplies & equipment became a more involved 'company' affair, with the personal needs and feedback of your drones playing a deciding factor on what to buy for work (and what to buy for entertainment/leisure) >The safety (and even rescue) of your drones whilst on the job became standardized protocol, with any losses due to accidents or workplace hazards being treated with the same emotional air as if it were an irreplaceable person rather than an easily replaceable machine >Although this technically voids their warranty, along with technically violating several AI-related work laws, the consistently good/profitable performance of your 'team' (as well as the sheer remoteness of your business) has allowed (You) to operate without incurring pesky legal issues and/or fees >Yet on top of the profit and prestige your 'gamble' has earned, (You) never could have guessed that this setup would inadvertently ensure you'd be adequately prepared to "ride out" the oncoming interstellar apocalypse >With civilized space effectively desolated & otherwise destroyed during the Solver War, (You) and your Worker Drones have traded a successful mining career for an equally successful scavenging career across the ruined remains of various surviving exoplanets
>>281403 >You'd have to talk to MechAnon about the Mechs I shall get in touch with him when I can, ill see em the next time he looks in the mirror.
As for the mechs, biggest cost constraint has to do with the Powersupply/core, which usually consists of an upgraded version of whatever standard core variant your basing the mech off of In theory, any drone core can be used as a base as long as its singularity can be enhanced enough to endure the greater power requirement of a ~20 foot tall body, once you can get that & a working frame together, rest of the cost should just be whatever armor & equipment you decide to use.
Reclaimer Sentinels, for the most part, are surprisingly inexpensive compared to other Sentinel drone variants, and this is reflected when they are converted into Calvary mechs: they start off fairly uniform and standard, then as they gain experience/vet they start getting further upgrades and their costs go up.
>tl;dr if the base drone is expensive, expect converting it into a mech to break the bank, if not, shouldent be that outlandish

>>281450 An interesting idea, but if I may be so bold as to make a personal proposition based on this general premise... >Uzi uses her administrative privileges to temporarily change the outfits of her Disassemblers for their next group 'roleplay' session >N is '''accidentally''' made to wear a maid uniform, causing all the girls involved (Uzi, V, & J) to tease him relentlessly >After plenty of emotional (and sexual) bullying N is practically ready to snap from the frustration >Suddenly Uzi uses Solver Shenanigans to enact 'The Big Twist', physically subduing all three girls with tendrils whilst also cranking N's libido levels into overdrive >N naturally proceeds to aggressively (and repeatedly) rail everyone involved until his stress is sufficiently relieved

An Anon asked a thread or two back for Martyr as a Drone. I didn't just do a 1/1 identical duplicate but here's a rough sketch of what I was thinking up. I'm trying to blend styles in a little bit so it might need a few more passes before I'm satisfied, but I'll try and at least do lineart for this at some point even if it doesn't reach full render stage.
Always remember anons if you have want to discuss the show then discuss it, no one is stopping you and many anons enjoy it, just keep in mind that mostly everyone here watched the show as the episodes where coming out, so everyone had threads worth of discussion or theorizing done already so don't be too shocked if your post doesn't get more than 3 replies at most
So if my show lore is correct Khan originally came from Outpost-8 and judging by the picture he took with Nori the WDF uniform he's wearing shows that it was already an established organization around that time. Which means that the WDF was around when humans stil majorly controlled Copper-9. And Khan mentioned that he had a human hating phase when he was younger. Does this mean that the WDF might have started off as some type of rebellion group?

We've already seen people, even assholes like Elliott, dress drones, so I'd guess these are standard drone clothes that simply decided not to reinvent the wheel, just like the Nazi Party, which used the colonial uniforms of the German Empire, which became unnecessary after the loss of its colonies.
More of a headcanon, but I believe fully that the other DDs retained their personalities and were also told that they were the only ones who did to further isolate them and make them feel hopeless. My evidence on this is purely the writings warning about the Sentinel Drones in Cabin Fever, if the DDs were purely ignorant and nothing more than killers, then why would they bother putting up a warning?

>>281677 >>281693 noice Added some detail on how I imagine the oilcirculation works, much headcanon obviously but I don't think we'll ever get anything official anyways Everything purple is for oil, red is for heated one coming from the body, blue is for flow of cooled oil. Since Liam called these oiltanks heatsinks I imagine their purpose is beside storing also to manage oiltemp, which seems reasonably given he placed them directly along large surfaces like head and chest. Since drones also 'bleed' when hit in the visor, yet there's been no oil in the concept art, I imagined there could be use of the visor as an extra radiator, thin enough to be efficient while having the useful secondary purpose of keeping the drones face warm+deiced (no vision issues). 12 is a sort of 'main pump', 13 another smaller one. There are two connections between them, both blue for now, the lower one is for oil cooled down enough to be sent back down the neck, the upper one is for oil that cooled smwht but not enough yet, this circulates again and serves to immediately cool fresh 'red' and hot oil, after this second circulation it goes down. Basically the heatsink should be all but empty with several circulation/piping systems but that is impossible to draw recognazible so the explanation hopefully makes sense
>>281698 I'd personally would've loved to see Uzi try to talk to Doll in episode 6 about how the DDs used to be regular workers who didn't want any of the murder to happen. Though I guess being just a minor inconvenience after episode 3 is okay enough or something.

>Sadly, this would be far from the worst thing Cyn did to them.
In all seriousness, I am curious why Cyn is the only (known/canon) Manor Drone who doesn’t have a single letter name. While the meta reason for this was that she had to be the odd one out due to being the main villain, I wonder if there was an in-universe reason? Did Tessa get better at naming things as she got older? Was there already a “C” at the Manor? (>>281711 in canon I mean) Did she take a special liking to Cyn before things went south? (She did give her the same haircut she had after all.)
>>281713 Also for those saying she got "Cyn" from Cyn's disposal armband, she also get J, N, and V's Initials from the serial numbers on their armbands. Why go out of the way to name her "Cyn" while goign by the previously established name scheme would mean you get "C"?
>>281714 Look at this armband, the P/N is still there while the serial number is faded, the P/N has three letters and the serial number starts with one letter
>>281704 They can try checking the booru and associated wiki, assuming what they're looking for was uploaded in the first place. There is also the option of simply browsing older threads since they are all more or less preserved on /md/. Failing that they can do what >>281709 suggested
>>281724 I guess, but whether it is from the P/N or S/N doesn't really make a difference on why Tessa went for a "full" name for Cyn while going for single letter names for the others. (I am well aware that I am seriously overthinking this.)

Why is it that, of any mutant or OC, Valentine specifically garners the most hate? Pauline, Abby, etc do not get nearly the thread shitting outrage just one Valentine green gets. Its odd to me because shes the most like MD, shes a vampire person whos a dick and lives in a manor eating people. Shes basically just a DD thats a mosquito human. Is it because shes smug?
>>281792 probably due to having the highest degree of separation between the show canon of most fan works
Previous human OC's/Mutants still have a decent amount of constraints and bits of lore/info that tie them back to established lore, as far as im aware valentine has almost none of that.
>>281795 This is so weird to me because Valentine is the most canon compliant Other OCs are based on things we've never seen >Soldiers >Survivors which act like normal humans But Valentine is the only Human OC I know of to actually take inspo from show humans, as in Nobles.
>>281795 Valentine and Frog Woman Pomni. Valentine just has the additional point against her of almost exclusively being used to signal contempt for MD's setting and glazing Neo-HoDR (now with Detroit and Look Outside!) as a setting.
>>281799 >Valentine just has the additional point against her of almost exclusively being used to signal contempt for MD's setting The amount of bending yourself you have to do to gain this conclusion.
>>281800 NTA but don't ask questions if you know well ahead you will hate the answer Don't take this as invitation to start shit again, not just you, anyone
Noticed something with V and Alice having incredible similiarities now that I think of it: >Both the best at disposing of drones of the other model >Both can and will do the same crazy faces >Both induspited sadists >Both very confident >Both based on Di >Very nice build and very sexy outfits >V flashes everyone, Alice only flashed V >Both have a preference for blades >smth about the crazy ones Pic rel even has them with the same expression at Uzi lol
>>281831 Are people mass reporting again? Or were you called by the post about impregnating every anon in this thread wait >every anon >in this thread >every BLACKHAND WATCH OUT
>>281846 >anon forgot to take the magnets out from the hat >masqy gets a few standard deviation's worth of iq points shaved off her intellect while wearing the hat
>>281870 >Mylo gets through some really awful letters >Then he reads what feels like a heartfelt, if indulgent, love letter from a human who wants to marry him >Slowly, he starts to recover >Until he reads the sender's unquestionably male name
>>281895 Jules is absolutely dying to a combine harvester piloted by his vengeful bastard son, who he only recognizes in the same moment that he's caught in the blades.
>>281327 >Murder Drones, but Beau is the normal worker drone and Uzi is the homunculus whose "mother" made her out of odds and ends and some scraps of eldritch meat >in Uzi's case, the eldritch meat was tissue samples Nori took from her own eldritch meat filling, making her robo-genetically (and regular genetically) Nori's daughter >nothing else about their mothers' statuses changes; Beau is still trapped in Cabin Fever and Uzi still lives in Outpost 3
>>281918 you can call him anything you want just don’t go in non-md threads on /co/ and drop his fandom identity like some kid did in the country human threads
>>281918 From what little I discussed of it with him back in the day he just chafed at being de-anonymized, people wanting his socials, following him to different fandom threads and pointing him out when it wasn't relevant, etc. Guy just wants to draw in peace and honestly considering the way dramafaggotry has followed both Drone threads without ever fully going away I don't blame him. I just wish he hadn't cut contact with me 'cause I wanted to commission some shit from him.
>>281949 >I'm gay No, I'm not, I'm a technophile, I want to fuck machinery, and drones are machines, as such I don't care if the drone is a boy or a girl. Every drone is a goal
>>281961 Girls can like guys who look like that, too. For similar, yet very different, reasons. >>281943 >The femoids are second class citizens, Honestly, they're responsible for a majority of our content as of late. They hold the power. A femanon could draw Pavo as a heterosexual dom, and there's nothing we could do to stop her.
>>281962 >A femanon could- So why haven't they yet? They too busy lusting after losernotloser twinks or replacement dads? No fancy for the dude who'd get more use out of their mom jeans than them? Curious, that. >Girls can like guys who look like that, too. For similar, yet very different reasons. At the end of the day, you both want to fuck a dude you can view as less intimidating, though in your case it's probably just forbidden fruit! Sorry yume, but them's the rules. And just so you know I'm teasing... THE GAME. >>281963 Fight! Fight!
>>281971 I don't think he's back in the way you're thinking, anon. Merc just draws because he enjoys it, and he doesn't just draw drones. He might just pop into a drone thread, see a cool post, and draw something.
Also, for God's sake, guys, stop making this out to be such a big deal. Anons come and go, and the fact that Merc is a drawfag doesn't make it anything special.
>>281971 Some of the last /co/ threads were quite nice and comfy and i drew some stuff there. >>281978 I know i was there, Anons losing there shit if it was Merc or not was quite hilarious.
>>281983 you're gonna get a noise complaint from the neighbors. those old models run hot and LOUD with any intensive activity, and that's to say nothing of their loud, clunky chassis
>won't be home till 6pm >Found out my university pulled a fast one on me and I'm studying something I didn't choose to study Yep, life is good, having unfinished greens that I want to write is definitely not the only thing keeping me from commiting a hate crime >Can't even post an image because I"m phone posting Fuck
>>281992 Anon, did you just enroll or was the new course, as usual, a complete shit? Whatever the case, I understand, I'm in deep shit too because of my damn university.
>>281995 I'm not Phoenix, I just like his work and I'm just telling other anons who also like it that there's a new part, plus it's convenient that Phoenix posts in a separate thread.
>>281994 I wanted to study microprocessors, so I chose the "computer engineering" specialization that was being offered, I was accepted and I was asked no questions, now after three days I was told that there are two computer engineering specializations, microprocessors and computer networks, I was assigned computer networks without my knowledge or consent, I didn't want to study computer networks that's why I didn't choose the computer networks specialization but here I am enrolled in the computer engineering (computer networks) course, this is my 5th semester btw
>>281999 At least you didn't choose accounting, anon, so you're still objectively in a better position, but yeah, screwing a student like that is fucking insane. Looks like they were seriously short-staffed and just to smooth things over, they moved you to a place no one wants. Have you contacted the dean's office yet? They're unlikely to help, but at least it's something.
>>282001 Gonna try contacting them tomorrow, the office is only open for three hours a day, funny thing is microprocessors IS the specialization no one wants because it's "hard as balls"(retards don't understand boolean algebra) >Accounting Machine god why?
>Fun Morning Canon Facts: Khoren Bekian, when designing the worker drones centuries ago, had to be repeatedly talked out of giving them "kiss lips", "motherbearing hips", and "cute yaoi cocks".
>>282002 The neural network boom and the realization of the absolute futility of my life's path only occurred after I enroll along with 43 others. I already understand that I won't even come close to the profession I chose, because I've seen firsthand what awaits me. My choice now is either the army or the factory, because only there is any demand for personnel and willing to pay a little more than food and water.
Yeah, the future is fucked, so cheer up, anon, and pray to God Emperor, for faith is our shield.
>>282012 >He got rug pulled by chatgpt Oh. That sucks, joining the army in current times is a bad idea, maybe consider your countries equivalent of railway guard ? My buddy worked as one and he barely passed highschool, he got paid ok and didn't complain much untill they fired him for taking time off to go to his grandpa's funeral
>>282017 V, J, Technician Tessa, and Cynwalker. Cynwalker is the rarest and has an even rarer "Tessa?" variant that glitches between shadow Tessa, normal Tessa, and Cynwalker. (I have no idea how nikke's gacha pull rates work)
>>282022 insofar as it's semi-likely they'd do a GLITCH collab, sure. but they'd only bring over TADC characters. Murder Drones itself would never pull something that big. atp the only chance it has of getting a collab is something that'd promote the comic like a crossover with some shite IDW property
>>282016 My teachers didn't even hide the fact that no one in the labor market needs so many accountants right now. I can even see it myself, because while every company used to need a huge staff of paperworkers, now everyone outsources to a single firm that employs about 100 people, and now they're trying to reduce even that number.
I'm from a country where war is a natural occurrence, so the army is definitely an option. I'm thinking of joining the air defense forces, since they're really in high demand right now (plus, I don't want to kill if a massacre breaks out). But in reality, it's not me who'll decide: wherever the commanders deem necessary, I'll go—air defense, motorcycle patrol, or border troops.
You, anon, are in a better situation. I think you could get a job somewhere in the IT sector setting up communications; it's mostly manual work, so they're unlikely to replace you with a damn script.
>>282021 This isn't actually a bad thing: a properly configured neural network can dramatically increase productivity, freeing up labor for other production. The problem is that instead of increasing production, companies simply lay off people to save money.
Jesus, imagine what it's like for an ordinary person to live in a MD world; it's just fucking awful.
>>282025 >IT sector setting up communications I had nifty ideas to go study mechatronics after I get a degree in computer science, but since life keeps slapping me in the face with dicks I might just go do that
>>282026 Yeah, the funny thing about MMLs and similar algorithms is that they would be more effective replacing things like middle managers and HR, but that would mean it would replace all of the suits at some point and we can't have that
>>282033 I've noticed that supervisor positions are also starting to be automated. All these automated tracking and data collection systems look terrible against a backdrop of the regular people who work with their hands and bend their backs in the warehouses where these systems are installed.
>>282043 Where do you work? They ususally do stuff like this if they stay at home for too long without getting pregnant, you can either try to take her to work as extra "equipment" or get ready to become a father
>>282044 I work at HODR HQ as the front desk secretary If I brought her with me she'd blow a gasket with how many drones make passes at me If I get her pregnant I would get a substantial tax break though, money wouldn't be an issue... Guess it's time for me to be a father
>>282045 How did you think Nori lost her body? That's exactly it, anon, so don't forget to ask your disassembly girlfriend to give you a blowjob before sex, so she can lubricate your cock with her saliva.
>>282041 The age of technological advancement being used to make life better for the little people is over. The future belongs to rent-seeking vampires.
>>282049 Hey, it's bad now but it'll be better someday, the rent seeking vampires are mostly talentless hacks who inherited their parents money, the bubble will burst eventually and we'll return to mean for some time
>>282050 You don't understand: at a certain level of wealth, it becomes functionally impossible to ever lose it. The stupid, sociopathic rich nepobaby caste is permanent barring some sort of complete system restart.
>>282051 Our pockets aren't getting any deeper are they? One day they will reach in and find them empty, things will get better eventually, but first they must get much worse, but enough about geopolitics, post drones and drone adjecent content
>>282054 God I want more Labor Bot content. I feel like they've been left on a shelf for far too long. I've seen only two Labor Bot OCs in my entire lifetime and they were immediately not touched upon by their creators after being posted once
You know, anon, even though Valentine was a noblewoman, she WAS, no is now. Now she's just another muti, cast aside and fed crumbs for a semblance of imposed humanism.
Are you ready to take responsibility for her and her life, knowing it's literally worse than marrying a black man in America in the 1920s?
>>282076 She could have fled when she realized the earth (and herself, of course) was doomed. She's already experienced in saving her own skin, so I think she can handle this too.
More name shenanigans, I looked the name “Beauregard” up out of curiosity and found that it has been used as both a first and a last name. Which obviously meant I had to make this joke at his expense.
>>282093 The LBs only have limited memmory due to work instructions, on a post apocalyptic planet where there's not much work to be done they could delete those and have extra space just like Archiver, plus an interesting story could be written around forgetting and recolection
>>282101 ||I know most of you don't really care about this series of mine, but I still like giving periodic updates because I like you all >:) [/spoiler]

>>282104 >>282105 Ahhhh, now it makes sense, I knew the drawings looked familiar, to think I'm getting dementia at my age, truly I need a drone to help me keep track of things

>>282121 I heard sociopathic rich, and then saw vampire, and instantly got disappointed to find out this wasn’t about Valentine at all. In fact I’m crying
>>282111 I'm not trying to push anything, I just didn't understand why anyone would go somewhere that has pillar shitting up the place if they wanted to avoid drama. apparently there were a few threads that didn't have that issue, so that's that.
>>282136 >tired welfare vampire bug After the war, she had to take a PEASANT job to at least afford a PEASANT life. She's definitely tired 24/7, if not depressed 24/7.
>>282141 Fuck I’d be depressed if I found out my god >didn’t know I existed >fucked up after eating a chunk of the world >I lose everything and get forced into section 8 mutie town, broke, and have to actually work for my government blood packs
>>282135 You can just ignore pillar you know? Md has a bunch of people who were reporting each other a few threads ago and nobody was banned, but I don't see you calling for people to leave because they are still here. If there is no drama then do no conjure it, complaining about pillar over nothing makes you complicit in drama instead of being any help, if there is drama, ignore it.
>>282145 She traded a rich life with a handsome aristocrat (okay, a slightly fucked up handsome aristocrat) to become a doormat for a god who doesn't give a shit about her, LOL, she's an even bigger loser than Jane!
>>282148 >Valentine is a literal bloodthirsty aristocrat monster >Jane is a stinky traitor who killed her friend >Bonnie is dead >Abby is worse than dead >Tammerie is forgotten Why does pocketsteaks give the most love to his worst, entirely undesirable and iredeemable characters? Maybe it's a fetish for stinky failgirls but it sucks how the actually good characters suffer from it
>>282146 >over nothing over regularly derailing the /co/ threads and having a reputation for attacking artfags >if there is drama, ignore it. he says, prolonging the "drama"
>>282157 NTA. Anon, we all know what a piece of shit Pillar is, and constantly reminding us of it won't make him any less of a schizoid. Anon is simply saying there's no need to ruin the threads with drama. Sure, he won't stop spewing shit and attacking anons, but we're on an anonymous imageboard; we can just ignore him.
Now, please, let's stop disrupting funposting by discussing schizoids.
>>282163 >Beretta convinces her friends to go as some group of glup shittos >Y does the same but with 40k >Pavo dresses up in a "Sassy Dracula" costume modified to accommodate his huge ass >Keeter dresses as the Rex from Jurassic Park
>>282163 Molli dresses as the skanky James Gunn Harley Quinn on her producers' orders Mylo dresses as Daffy to match his wife's Daisy costume Molly wears a bundle of blankets and a heartbroken frown after she's mistaken for a killer clown
>>282163 Canon: >N The classic cape and teeth. Variations may apply by your imagination, but lets say he's doing Hellsing's Alucard per Uzi's suggestion. >Uzi Considering the couple's aspect, I imagine she's quite easily dressed As Seras Victoria. Complete with 'ballistics' for the authentic cosplay look. >V Herself. She believes she's scary enough as is. And because her self-esteem is shot. >J Spurned the idea as childish at first but was talked into going as a mix of her old maid self and JCJ(IS) founder. She wears the old Elliot family locket round her neck at all times. >Khan Maximus Decimus Meridius from Gladiator. Nori said it would make him look hunky. Unironically uses his wrench and a downsized door as his sword and shield. >Nori Headcrab. Failing that: Brain in a jar >Lizzy Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Unironically makes passes at N. >Doll Self-explanatory. Not like she has a choice. >Thad A skateboarding mummy. >Cyn A t-rex head, lol >Teacherbot A 1.5 GPA! OC: That comes in the next post when I think of things.
>>282176 >350788 Here this is the colored version >Female domination Ah, I was thinking of a diffrent degenerate doujin that was spammed on tg once, carry on king
>>282163 Uzi goes as a nightmarish monster that's disguised itself as a normal person because if everyone saw its true form they'd hate and fear it, nervous laughter.
>>282189 We'll only be told only about the comic since they've already raised a million dollars. Liam won't be in it, so we have nothing to look forward to.
>>282178 Alright I thought of some OC suggestions. >E Good old fashioned zombie. (Yes, the top hat contains a real live human brain) >S Saber. >R Jason Vorhees >H T-100 >L Creature from the Black Lagoon >B Phantom of the Opera >U-U Henchmen 21 and 24 >Elf Wendigo >Beretta Mara Jade. >Keeter That alien chick from Species. >John Albert Wesker (Forma de RE1) >Ivory Flatwoods Monster >Sophie Medusa (Or Gorgon, if you prefer) >Abba(s) Ash Williams >Lily Kappa >The other H Johnny Bravo >M Chuck Greene. And those are all the ones that stuck in my brain that I care to mention I could probably do the more recent OCs but I'll leave someone else to do that.
>>282209 NTA but look at V in the background anon also this artist made something previously where N keeps texting uzi after a long night until he gets back a "she's busy bro" text, followed by an image of Uzi and V getting creampied by some random guy
>>282215 >V in the background That's cum on flowing down her legs, she is also not a cuck >Spoiler This is all an elaborate roleplay sesion that cumulates in Anon giving everyone the best service top expirience he can
Alright, another update on the Union base green, its 90 ish percent done, I only need to spellcheck it and write the Sentinel+Grunt drone on Anon orgy, if my university dosen't tire me too much tommorow while making me run through the beurocratic ringer I'll probably finish it and post it, untill then goodbye and remember to kiss your drone good night
Now Anons don't be a bunch of bitches or use this as an excuse to start talking shit. But seeing as how thread opinion tends to shift overtime, I'm curious. What personally makes an OC stand out to/become memorable to (You)
>>282226 Asking this for the most part because while I don't care for staying power since I much prefer to keep my characters isolated to their story instead of writing them at the DMV or some wacky stuff, I'd like to know so that I can possibly improve my writing capabilities. I make the story first and characters second is my point
Yo however is still going to /co/ and starting shit or engaging with b8. Knock it off Saw like 2 Anons asking what the Hell /md/ was and didnt get a response, its weird to think that there are anons assuming these are real, that are unaware of the threads history
>>282233 Would answer their question especially since one thinks its an 8chan thing but I'm pretty positive I'm banned from /co/ after getting caught in someone elses ban
You can tell someone never watched Murder Drones if >They draw Worker Drones and DDs with a white abdomen >They give Worker Drones and DDs human proportions >They write a story taking place on Earth during the time of the show and don't explain it as an AU >They think N is precious cinnamon roll who can't do wrong >They think J would be friends with literally anyone post-show
Cyn never canonically existed, it was always The Solver playing pretend until it got near the time of the Gala were it could drop the act. Whoever Cyn was died before the time of the show as The Solver immediately took possession of them while they were still in the dump
>>282226 Unironically it's just design and personality, I can't keep up with everyones output and greens so most of my favs are very old by now. Just subjective like and quality of their art desu
>>282238 One of the only good things about the community's self-enforced partition is not needing to read your extremely recognizable autism. >>282237 >>They think N is precious cinnamon roll who can't do wrong But that's the authorial intent, stupid as it may be.
>>282238 No, Cyn was definitely alive because the Fixer approached her and offered her a deal and she took it because she was literally fucking dying.
In fact, I think it was Cyn, simply so intoxicated by Solver's power and influence that she went crazy. For example, the deal itself shows that Solver is one person and Cyn is another, and also that Solver's magic could be used by more than just Cyn, meaning it, as a source of power, didn't directly control Cyn, otherwise she could have immediately captured any drone in the lab long before she arrived on the planet.
>>282246 whether there was any actual Cyn left in her body by the time she was found by Tessa is debatable. I personally believe that Cyn was herself for at least a little while after coming to the manor. Tessa wouldn't have gotten a group portrait made with her if there was no Cyn for her to grow close to. at some point between then and when they started locking her in the basement, the switch happened and Cyn's mind was fully assimilated. though if the anon you're replying to is who I think it is, he has no intention of discussing the subject in good faith.
>>282251 her worst crime was getting too into proving that Jane and Bonnie were slacking off (they were) and Jane was a danger to her fellow soldiers (she was.) for this, she was punished with painful immortality, unceasing agony, and the inescapable desire to kill and eat her comrades. so no, she didn't.
>>282252 Anon, your behavior is regulated by complex chemical reactions, but if you suppress them with, say, alcohol, you might start behaving completely differently—for example, turning from a good guy into a bastard. Same thing with the Solver; his power simply intoxicated Cyn, and now we have a god of vore genocide.
>though if the anon you're replying to is who I think it is, he has no intention of discussing the subject in good faith. Quite possible, but I don't care, I'm going to sleep, bye, burgers.
>>282252 >Though if the anon you're replying to is who I think it is, he has no intention of discussing the subject in good faith I have no clue who you're insinuating I am, but I'm not and chances are no matter what I say I can't convince you otherwise. But I am curious why you think that there was a Cyn and not a disguise. I have reason to suspect it to be The Solver due to how it proved that it could impersonate Tessa without its strange speech quirk.
>>282260 Also it raises the question to me as to why The Solver would even allow Cyn free will to begin with when it just wanted a host to fully control
>>282260 >>282261 I also brought this up because I got reminded of a green I wrote a long time ago where I depicted Cyn as a reluctant servant that was trying to find a way out of it while she was still in the manor and was the one behind all the occult shit, while I don't remember the events correctly I remember some Anons telling me my interpretation of Cyn was wrong and that she didn't flat-out exist and I became convinced which makes me wonder now. Does the thread even agree on who the fuck Cyn is?
>>282260 >>282261 There was a crazy guy recently who was causing a lot of drama, and your post was similar to one of his, but I hope the anons are really mistaken; no one wants drama, after all.
