Friends, and Friends, we are here once more, and I hope you are doing mighty fine, are you? While you tell me, we can talk about the amazing Drones that we talk about every day, every hour, and for some of us, every minute. Let's keep having interesting talks about the Drones. If glitch and Liam agreed to do this, how would you react? >they release a strange video >at first it’s black but then we see familiar faces >uzi beat up and regaining her balance as she looks angrily >uzi and khan celebrating nori getting a new body >uzis class running away as things blow up >doll’s ghost coming face to face with Lizzy >mitchell jolting awake on uzi's table alive and well >alice and the solver having an arguement at the doorman dinner table >uzi and n having one big kiss >shots of new drones >a badass fight scene between n and a completely new badass Dissasembly drone >shots of real normal humans >mitchell jolting awake in uzis room >all the while voice clips play > one of J dramatically asking “is it…really you” >another of khan saying dejectedly “ for what it’s worth, I’m sorry” >uzi pleading for someone to not leave her >thad screaming "its all your fault!" >v saying "i cant believe i trusted you..." > a stabbing sound effect plays >cue a slow motion shot of j stabbing n through the core as uzi can only watch in shock. > Curiously her eyes are back to full purple >Murder Drones season 2 coming... >...next month >everybody’s hyped, this board is fucking livid and theories galore >season 2 premiere happens on time and it’s a livestream >everyone is anxiously waiting >5 minutes 2 minutes 30 seconds right now! >uzi’s sobbing is heard in front of a black screen >we see uzi cradling the very dead n as j points a gun to her head >”oh boohoo…never liked him anyway, so….now that you’re back to being completely powerless..any last words?” >uzi looks at her and is about to say “Bite me!” >….but then it buffers and shows the YouTube error screen >”…yeah sorry about that..” >then a goofy 2d drawing of Liam shows up >he starts rattling about how there’s no plans for season 2 and says all this stuff about fan expectations and how hard it is for animators >”but I think there’s something else you CAN look forward to! Ok Liam out!” >cut to black >a trailer for glitch’s new 3d show plays >”something something! Coming soon!”
>>165186 That was pretty good! Y would recommend "¡Oh, no sabia que era un completo [...]" instead of "¡Oi, no dye sabendo qe un completo es [...]". Almost sounds Brazilian Portuguese.
>>165199 No, I’m not. I watched phineas and ferb on Disney plus one night and I saw that bit they did with “meepless in Seattle” and thought “what if glitch did this with season 2” so I wrote one green, and then built upon it with another green, and then now where I stitched them together into one. I can see why you’d think I was him trying to fish for (yous) but I simply wanted a segue and the responses I got were entertaining.
>>165199 It's definitely scribbles, he can't help himself and we know he's still lurking Same rambling post style, same reposting the same stuff fishing for responses
>>165191 >Its just a normal thread, >someone posts in all caps >”GUYS CHECK YOUTUBE SEASON 2 IS HAPPENING” >he links the teaser >the whole board is ecstatic >the joy is contagious >soon everyone is posting in all caps >theorizing about certain elements and gawking at all the big reveals like Mitchell being alive >alicefag is cumming in ecstasy knowing his waifu is back >Drawfriends making fanart of all the new characters shown >and best of all, this is happening tomorrow >everyone sits back, they can’t wait! >5 minutes 4 minutes, 30 seconds, right now! >the opening clip plays >….one fake out later >no one is happy >absolutely no one is happy >the thread is consumed by Disappointment and rage >no one is laughing, this wasn’t funny >at least someone posted a photo of them burning merch >worst watch party ever.
>>165202 …ok fine, I admit, it’s me. I know I said I was leaving for good but I still lurk here because it’s fun reading what you guys post here. have a pen sketch of uzi so you can see what my art looks like on paper.
>>165205 I can't believe they wasted Jessica's character by having her getting skinned alive and nobody cared afterward. This is why Liam needs a tard wrangler.
>>165192 Thank you! I had Spanish for the last school years, it was a struggle for survival for everyone in the class, and that was years ago. Past tenses are unknown to me beyond fue,
>>165208 Don't feel bad, Friend, Spanish is really hard to learn due to being so different to English, basically a whole different family. Still amazing that you can still make understandable sentences.
The reason why that youtube couldn’t tell (or didn’t realize) Elf wasn’t a normal murder drone is because the rest of the fandom stylizes their drone oc’s so fucked that everything, no matter what kind of drone they draw, crosses some kind of line into “offmodel”. Think about the furries who give their characters paws for example. We’re probably the only place that makes clear distinctions between what is and isn’t a disassembly drone.
>8 months since the incident. >How long would it take for them to forget who he once was? >Black tendrils wrapped around his body, restraining him. Crude claws clenched around his skull and held him in the air, the Handler dangling helplessly for all to see as it forced its way into his mind. >He fended it off with all his might. The indescribable torture lasted for but a moment before the Handler could sever the malformed limbs and free himself. But it was too late by that point. It was over as soon as it began. >The Enforcers had to scour his mind and delete all that was corrupted before he became yet another host. What little they could salvage was the bare minimum for him to retain a semblance of sentience. He had been lobotomized by his own brethren. >The scattered nanobots that made up his body rearranged themselves to all he could remember of his face, creating an ugly, lifeless parody of it. And so the life and joy of the group was lost. >The Handler can barely string a sentence together, let alone recall his past, save for a single detail. >"A bright flash... A great absence..." He randomly spouts when alone. >Sometimes, ol' Jugg insists that he's still in there, somewhere. The Overseer knows that's not true, but he still entertains the Juggernaut's retelling of the uncharacteristically emotive words he's heard from their comrade. He wants to believe it. >"He wasn't always like this, let's leave it at that." >"...He died long ago."
>>165219 Post it again like 6 hours later, and after a while you will have most people that will answer, since wouldn't be surprising that most won't bother.
>>165217(me) I gave her four fingers because that’s what all the drones have, tried to be more show accurate. >>165225 Noted! I might take a stab at that
>>165205 >T lives with the guilt of being unable to protect Cyn or Jessica from the Absolute Solver >[What a terrible. Sister you were. Maybe. They would still be alive if you weren't. Such a big stupid dumb.] >[And adopted. A big stupid. Adopted dumb.] >[Also fat.] >[Mirthless titter.]
>>165226(me) I think I need to also mention that the pen I use tends to blot slightly so it looks a bit dirty. But while I will try out cleaner lines, Im often satisfied with how they usually come out, at least on paper because they turn out like this one shot in Billy and Mandy. With that gritty Hand drawn feel you also see in old comics and the art for the novel fear and loathing in Las Vegas. But again, like you said, cleaner lines would be neat to see.
>>165236 >NTA Most of the Anons here don't like you due to your obsessive behavior and posts asking for constant validation or trying to force your uncharacterized OCs upon everyone with the same exact drawing, you really angered a bunch of Anons when you referrer to them as >You People In one of your weird Grim obsession post. I understand that maybe you can't help it, maybe you have some issues going on, or maybe you're not old enough to even be on this site which in that case I suggest you humbly leave and come back when you are old enough. If you are 18+ already, I suggest you leave until you can somewhat control yourself.
>>165243 There exists an alternate reality in which Uzi immediately started making out with V for zero reason and left N heartbroken. I fear this reality because I know that despite there being zero build-up or chemistry the fanbase will defend this stupid action to the death, even on these threads because "It's a comedy of course it's gonna have a random xd moment."
>>165247 >There exists an alternate reality in which Uzi immediately started making out with V for zero reason and left N heartbroken. no there isn't i checked
>MD beach episode. (They are immune to the water don’t ask how) >The normal pool is too deep for AM so he is forced to go swim in the kiddie pool. >The fact that other drones are mistaking him for a child is not helping his growing anger.
>>165244 I know what I did and I still feel shitty. I was just making a comeback, for now I’m pretty mellow and I’ve gotten over being banned from the draw pile. I’ll post some MD drawings here and there but overall I’m not gonna be very active.
>>165268 She's become SD-G(ambler) since then, over on that streaming site It looks like she spends all of her boyfriend's money screaming at the roulette wheel though
>>165287 Wdym? I literally had a conversation with her when she talked to me. She was going very easy on me and when she banned me again she felt a bit bad for me
>>165312 Which one?In the first one she has her sexy but flat underside, there is no entry and equipment. Or di you mean the cow bikini one? I mean she definitely could have gotten knocked up from that one, after all that sent her into an orgasm-induced bootloop, which is something. Tho if you mean there needs to be one of Alice explicitly getting it, I agree. Since we are on it already, that scene of Alice in the green and in canon really does something...the head thrown back, open mouth, that glitched scream (if you wanna understand more, watch other dubs of it, there are variations from unedited yelp, over very glitchy, to very moany sounds she makes as she got bootlooped...unf.)
>Beretta used to be ambivalent at best about her birthdays - it was just another day, after all >A reminder of the way her parents had had her >Compared to her younger siblings, she'd had more rather than less of her birthdays slip by with nary a whisper >It seems Uzi and N had both realized that they'd been... less than doting because by the time Mac was born they were ready to treat him like, well, a kid >Their kid >Hence, Mac (and Negev, before she'd gone to the loony bin for a little while) both got to have relatively normal celebrations of their birthdays >Beretta didn't begrudge either of them that - she'd gotten over it years ago, after all >She just... didn't see any reason to CARE about her own birthday >It wasn't anything special, in her opinion, and that was something she said when asked >P's reaction to that news was a bit different than the usual shrug, though >"Wait, your birthday is this week?!" P almost dropped the cookie sheet he was pulling out of the oven. "Why didncha say so sooner? I want to celebrate it with you!" >"Meh. It's just a day. I'm already happy to spend time with you normally, too - we don't need to make one day 'special'." >"But 'Retta, it's your BIRTHDAY! I appreciate that you're happy on other days, but it's YOUR day!" >"Meh." Beretta shrugged and looked around the bakery idly, looking more like a delinquent as she picked her teeth than the maid she was dressed as. "When's the next surge of customers, anyway?" >"Uh... in about an hour, probably. But we're not done with this conversation yet, you hear? Heck, does anyone else even know?" >"Mister MG does. He gives me a coupon each year with the discount being how old I am." >"That's surprisingly decent for that skinflint... wait, so that means if you're a hundred yet get stuff for free?" >"Nah, he says it resets to zero then. 'Integer rollover' or something."
>>165254 >AM sinks to the bottom regardless >worker drones, disassembly drones, and sentinel drones are made out of metal >the fuck did you expect to have, dumbass
>>165330 What? Last I remember Marcy became a hermit and tells stories to future Drone generations on Copper-9......or did I just mistake another canon? This stuff gets confusing some times
>>165335 That was the last time I saw a Marcy greentext and that was over a year ago. That's what happened in it, it was trying to fit Marcy in the post-good ending
>>165355 >It's just a shitty fast-food tie-in >All the characters get free Solver Borger uniforms >There's now a Solver Borger added in the game that you can buy from, due to the nature of it being a tie-in, all the food items are ridiculously unbalanced
>Happy Special Fella's Day!! >***THIS IS NOT THE FINAL FACE*** >I made this one in October as a rough test/joke. Final skin molds will be sanded down. >This cast was poured without sanding. Just imagine for now if it were completely smoothed. >This is the skin tone I'll be going with. The final face will sleeve all the way around. Fleshing around the eyes will be glued to fold outward and painted red. >Gonna make so much Tessa jerky in the testing process alone XuX >#facereveal lol
>First tests of Cyn's hologram projector went great! >I've already scaled it up to life size, which I can test properly in about a week or so. >Honestly, the camera does NOT do it enough justice. In person it looks even more…..WOW. >Yes, I can do animations with it! >I can probably make the projector arm follow faces to make adjustments. Perhaps doing scans of people and objects then projecting them. >Hope one night I don't wake up to see myself standing over my bed doing improv...
>>165381 He’s planning on doing that last, also it can now express itself through its optics
>I've finally implemented Cyn's dynamic face model! >She can now generate new animated faces as often as she wants! >All it needs now is fine tuning positions and to re-add the masking effect for upper/lower eyelids and eyebrows. I drew them out on the last pic to give an idea what that looks like. >The only issue is performance. Her frame rate for more complicated faces is too slow. When I upgrade her to Jetson Thor, that ought to solve it. It's super cool to see her come up with faces during conversation! >>165379
>the Absolute Solver tells her she's been a naughty girl, V immediately starts trying to bargain for her and N's lives >the Prototype says it's on its way to put her back in the punishment box for bad girls, Poppy immediately bails on (You) and Kissy I'm sensing a pattern with Nola Klop characters.
>“I also have several relatives who aren’t deranged madmen but i am not legally allowed to talk about them because of Ken Penders.”
>>164016 >>164020 While having them talk about stuff is always pretty fun I am afraid you are going to have to settle for something that is all about Sonic the Hedgehog I am afraid.
>>165398 kek I don't know that much about sonic but as far as crossing over with md I think it'd be funny to see Sticks and Alice paired up. the two feral schizos would either be best friends or worst enemies with no in-between
>>165408 "because nobody can stare at me like that and get away with it, okay? so I was walking to the ??? place, right, and then this guy came up to me, and he was–"
>>165398 >>“I also have several relatives who aren’t deranged madmen but i am not legally allowed to talk about them because of Ken Penders.” She can legally talk about cousin Ivo's wife Martha! ... Who he divorced because she cheated on him with every single Mobian he personally knew.
>>165409 I've never played a single sonic game. I know a decent amount of the characters, the general idea of the setting, a few stories and oddities here and there– but I'm not super familiar with the series.
>>165417 NTA but Sticks is basically characterized by being a borderline schizophrenic conspiracy theorist who thinks if something has buttons it's spying on her
>>165417 Same here anon, I literally know nothing about Sonic, although I once watched an old anime about him when I was a kid, but all I remember is that the main character's grandfather, when he saw Sonic, thought he was a robot and wanted to take him apart.
>>165383 They look a bit too high but I guess the outer screencover and white part can easily be changed, the intensity in those ✨hollow eyes✨ is real tho
>>165440 The subjects get a bit looney if left alone Also that is very nice (pic). Not like fangs sunk in fleshflap creating pitbull behaviour, no, more finessed, like nibbling, or scratching, imagine her biting your under arm from the side and scratching with her teeth🧡
>>165464 >The god powers are for bringing them back to life afterwards >doll could have brought her parents back anytime >but really >she hated them doll would have made a good DD
>The United Systems Marine Corps was known for many things. >But using swords in modern space combat was one of the biggest (even if most people ignored the Navy's use of them) >The coveted, occasionally feared Issue Sword, effectively a cutlass crossed with a machete. >Although outdated for millennia now, it was still useful in a pinch, or in pressurized environments. >One of those locations is where you're currently locked in a clinch with a murder drone.
>You clench around the sword in your hand, staring down an corrupted husk of a servant clad in thin sheets of alabaster titanium and polysteel. >It stares back, a feral neon X cast across its visor and fangs bared in aggression, a sword replacing one of its hands. >A few feet behind you, a squad of soldiers is evacuating through a bulkhead. And ten feet in front of you, this abomination stands at attention. >Both of you are waiting for the opponent to move first, with no signs of movement between you. >Somewhere deeper in the service halls, something falls free, and both of you are on each other in a flash. >Metal hits metal, sparks fly and blind optics, organic and not. >Eyes blurred and mind racing, you take a wild swing toward the black rubber covering soft internals, only to be met with a masterful parry that puts you in danger. >Your fears are confirmed when the blade cuts through inches of kevlar, titanium and ceramic, freeing you of your beloved armor. >Enraged, you take another swing, trying to get a clean to relieve the mutant drone of its upper half, only to be parried yet again, albeit less effectively. >The murderbot's combat software must've made a bad calculation, considering the angle it wielded its sword at. >Meaning you had a second shot. One you promptly took. >With all the meat and military nanites you had at your disposal, you swung the sword again, finally striking your target. >Your blade travels from its shoulder up to its neck, slicing through internals and metal with exceptional ease (immeasurable struggle.) >After nearly severing the robot's head, you are free (for a few moments) to dig around inside its internals and grab out the primary source of power worming its way around inside the robot. >You hammer away at pseudo-organic structures that block you out with the pommel of your sword and dig around inside the (grody) mix of metals, rubber and meat for the little headcrab. >You feel a sharp prod in your finger and know you've found the target. >Ramming your hand into the brand new orifice you gave the drone, you wrap your fingers around the burger meat ball that is a DD's core and squeeze, making sure you've got a proper grip to it won't jab you with nasty prongs anymore. >With two hearty tugs, you pull it out of the body and stare down at it. >A pissy yellow eye emote stares up at you, emulating a scowl. >You squeeze it tight and move through the bulkhead where your fellow marines reside. >Pushing by them exhaustedly, you walk toward the airlock. >The last bit of the drone is angry the whole way until it realizes where you're heading. >Then it attempts to negotiate, then it starts begging. All fall on mostly deaf ears, though >You arrive and open the first door, standing in the chamber of the airlock, core in hand and conscience battling itself. >Do you really toss the lump of sentient meat into the abyssal sea that is space? Or do you save an enemy of humanity that may very well turn on you. >Well? What do you do, anon?
No proofreading, not even wireplay. I just wanted to get something out into the open because I need to write.
>>165450 V reads more as a Nossie to me tbh. One of those Nossies whose sire was feeling more spiteful than usual. V was an even bigger insult a future childe than usual for those cases, because not only was she beautiful, she was also shy and gentle. Uzi is totally a Malk too.
>>165323 >"MG!" >P barges into the MGeneral, looking mad >"Heeeyy, P, how's my favorite little subordinate doing? Your business going well? I hope so, cause I invested a LOT of capital into- WHOOP!" >P hoists MG up the lapels of his ratty jacket >"Why didn't you tell me Beretta's birthday was in a few days?!" >"What, you didn't already know?" >"NO! And what's worse is you somehow did, despite the fact I'm her boyfriend!" >G snorts derisively from in front of the computer where she's playing LoL. "Some boyfriend you are." >"G, shut up and stop playing that game on the work computer. And P, of course I'd know my best customer's birthday, it's one reason why I get so much repeat business!" MG gets a dreamy look. "Because I CARE about my mone- shoppers." >P frowns and lets go of MG >"Well, can you at least give me some ideas for what to get Beretta? I wanna do this whole thing right." >"Oooooh, the doting boyfriend, eh? Guys like you always spend a lot of cash on their girls." MG leans over the counter, whispering conspiratorially. "Between you and me, there's a plushie she's had her eyes on for a while now. Rare, expensive, y'know. If you pay the rest of it off, you'd be the man of the hour!" >"But I don't have a lot of cash!" >"That's alright. Just give me... oh, complete ownership of your bakery, all franchising rights, and your pimp limo, and we'll call it even." >"But that guy is living in my limo." >"We can evict him. Now, sign on the line please. Ignore that stuff about "your immortal soul", that's standard boilerplate but I never apply it."
>>165457 >>165452 I found it. If have been wanting to reread the entire thing since the furst night of October 1st 2023, but if I reread it I will be cripplingly addicted to Alice greens again which are in short supply. This isn't even exxagerated, after 7 there were so few that I drew in total ~5-7 things from second April week until episode 8. Don't wanna fall back into that crippling withdrawal again ever
>>165485 Nta but that's actually a great observation and detail! Considering how she easily took of Alice fingertip biting clean through the joint, 'Tessa' just wiggling her hand and being fine is strange. (Foreshadowing?) Cyn was bitten by Uzi's front teeth tho, which have no fangs, the sentinel that bit her had very pointy ones and bit with more force, so it is possible Uzi did bite Cyn and Alice with the same force and malicious intent, but either Uzi bit into the joint on Alice's finger adding pull to the squeeze, or Cyn is robuster due to AS stuff
>>165494 why do people find feet attractive, they look like hands if a palm was bloated and stretched out with the fingers shorted, the first digit of the fingers lost in the flesh's gross malformation
You're too pathetic to do anything, don't even bother writing that greentext. Keep procrastinating you lazy piece of shit, that's the only thing you're good for and will ever be good for. Yeah keep telling yourself, "One day I'll do it!", because next thing you know you're going to be two steps in the grave and it'll never be done and that's all your fault

Back in my day, Predator Oogis were both the most dangerous and intelligent form of Oogi. Then again, back in my day there was different types of Oogis such as the Ogie which were a bunch of Oogis that turned into an Uzi
At work, I had this stupid thought that since there are alot of oogi exterminators businesses out there. There has to be like an in-universe show that follows Oogi exterminators going about their jobs.
>>165569 >Most Oogi Hive buster shows >A group of exterminators go house to house showcasing their takedown of an infestation, none that serious, and lots of stock effects over everything even mildly Oogi related that shows up >Meanwhile, there was one show that lasted a season of wannabe exterminators going to hunt the baddest hives around >it was one season for a reason
>>165575 Yeah, but what is the thread headcanon of Exterminators? Are they drones? Humans? How do they work, function, and look like? are their factions of exterminators? How do they work in the world
Jane is the most justified tragic OC >Jane was put in an impossible situation, being basically canon fodder against a literal god >She still managed to at least try and be a good soldier >It was impossible to save civilians due to the mutations, they would just kill everyone who was left, so she gave them mercy >Abby eventually due to her hubris got infected and Jane tried to mercifully take her out as well, only for it to backfire >When it got too much and everyone was going to die anyways, she tried to set it up to where her and the only person she cared about left could make it off world >Betrayed by a trickster god, the person she tried to save dies hating her, and she is stranded in the middle of nowhere stalked by another person who hates her guts for trying to do what she thought was the right thing If you were in her shoes youd do the same lets be honest
>>165610 Housewife Abby is meant to be a mother DDanni is meant to be a mother Molly is meant to be a mother Pavo is meant to be a mother This is what Big GAY is scared of, don't let Dr. Ones win this
>>165612 that is still the same fucking thing, just using a different name for it, abby is straight, she doesn’t want to be a disappointment by being a lesbian
>>165631 Just had a flashback to the old /co/ threads were an Anon tried fucking with /co/ trolls by claiming Mac was a gay football player that would get railed by the entire team after the game
>"What a splendid idea!" Chortled all the Anons >"We look forward to seeing what you write!"
>"Oh, write? Uh, I'm more of an 'ideas' guy. And I just remembered I have to go buy milk." And so Anon left and was never heard from again. But perhaps... that meant he had been gay all along?
>>165642 nah. people are always gonna hate things. and find things to hate. find reasons to target gourp's of people they don't want to understand, there is nothing anyone can do about it either as those people are set in their ways, unless they themselves decide to change,
there will always be racism. homophobia. anti-transgenderism. there always has been in history. because they don't often fit into the norm people want to set. despite at least with homosexuality. it being something ingrained in nature,
in the end, all we can do is agree to disagree. and not cause pointless fights by poking with sticks,
>>165668 I didn't say it was a lack of understanding. more that they don't want to, but even then. that isn't all of them. it's easy to lump gourp's together, but everyone's gonna wanna have their own reason, Some do understand but hate it anyway because of the community and culture, some Don't understand and have just been told and thus form their opinion on that, so yes, it isn't a lack of understanding in some. but it is in others. there is more then one reason for things when it involves multiple people, especially large gourps
I just think Jane and Bonnie is an effective tragic story, theres no reason for it to be yuri but theres no reason for it not to be either. It being straight or not doesnt effective the sadness of it
>>165678 I just mean that if one of them was a guy it wouldnt change anything. I prefer the yuri, and I dont know why people make a big fuss about it as if it being straight would somehow be better.
>Fun Evening Canon Facts: Nori is aware this might just be because she had a small reference pool, but before she met-and subsequently grabbed the ass of within five minutes of meeting him-her husband, the man she was carrying a torch for was Mitchell. >>165677 I think the fact that they do not very secretly liked each other, to the point of Jane going so far for her, Jane of all people, makes it sadder

>>165754 In the original novel, AM was an AI made to wage wars, he literally couldn't think outside of torture and destruction, which was one of the biggest things that he was jealous and hated about humans.
If he was made into a Worker Drone, he would lose those emotional restrictions as we see them display human like emotions.
>>165758 Then it's not really AM anymore man That's like making HAL-9000 have emotions, the point of the character isn't growth but a commentary on how human depravity trickles down into what humanity creates and explores the idea that a thing made to carry out depraved acts is aware of the things it could've been but can never be There's not supposed to be character growth, it misses the point
>>165765 take a character from it’s source material, it becomes nothing but a name, the AM here has no powers, nothing, just a red WD, that’s it, not even a unique design
>>165769 It would be more apt to keep his character the same then, I'd think, rather than gut it and make him a complete different thing It feels like the name AM got slapped onto some random drone, like the name Velma got slapped onto that Indian douche in the Velma show - like it's something new pretending to be an homage to a popular thing instead of just owning up to the fact it's totally OOC
>>165771 >you don't like SD-AM I never said that? >want him to stay stagnant Careful, your third chromosome is showing >you've already said this When has anyone ever said that, AM is fine, but he isn't actually AM, that was the point I was trying to make
>>165777 Yes, but the point of WD AM is that he's no longer restricted to thinking about only war and murder; he's got his wish of freedom in the form of a WD.
If AM got the freedom he desperately wanted, being free to form thoughts outside of war, how do you think he would act?
>>165776 that would be ironically better than removing his everything, I am serious, this is AM, allied master computer, he had already done what the solver couldn’t do, and that’s winning, kept 5 humans alive just to torture for eternity, taken revenge on humanity for his creation by committing genocide upon nearly all of mankind
>>165788 The point of AM is he's supposed to be an irredeemable monster, it's what makes him an interesting villain. Think about Jack Horner or Commander Rourke in Atlantis, both were nasty bastards to the end because some people just can't be helped or saved. Even when they've got what they want they're never satisfied and want more. Sure, having a body could make AM happy - but then that's not AM, that's ... WAS or something. It turns him into a Steven Universe-esque morality thing, where "anybody can be a good person when given a chance" is the shtick and removed a lot of what makes him intriguing and ironic. I think there's a way to do an AM-MD crossover, but I'm not convinced this is it. I don't have anything against the OC, I just wish it wasn't tied to a character who is utterly different in nearly every capacity.
Just think, if murder drones came out a decade ago we could've potentially gotten a toys to life game for it Like a murder drones skylanders thingy, with little figurines and everything
>>165805 >It turns him into a Steven Universe-esque morality thing, where "anybody can be a good person when given a chance" we share that the same information
>>165781 so, somehow >There's not supposed to be character growth doesn't mean stagnation? because that really sounds like keeping the character stagnant.
>>165820 I'm saying that character growth is the antithesis of the character, it's not stagnation, it's pure static. He can't be reasoned with, he doesn't change. Trying to give him growth is ironically more destructive to his character than accepting him as he is, which is broken.
My stance on the Drone AM argument is that all the backstory fluff behind him is clearly meant to be lead-up to a sort of mirror match of him vs the Absolute Solver, but all anyone ever does with him is write greens of Cyn raping him. Kind of funny when you think about it.
>>165825 The best way to handle AM vs AS is to have them have a philosophical debate, I'm not even kidding The two trying to reason why they should win, locked in a deadlock where they've both already done what they can to their worlds and are looking to expand into the others territory No remorse, no empathy, just anger, silliness, and calculated reason why humans should lose either way
>>165824 you're so right, keeping him literally exactly the same as the original story and copy/pasting him into Murder Drones is so much more compelling than giving him what he always desired before in exchange for his power, then in a twist of irony, exploiting those newfound feelings to torment him and make him feel helpless before a cruel and playful god, giving him a taste of his own medicine. obviously we need a crossover that has no depth or intrigue, and is just AM torturing the characters.
>>165836 It's not my fault you can't appreciate a well made character and have to fiddle with it to make it palatable If you want character growth from a character whose character arc is a flat line then there are better places to look, but go ahead and charge at windmills all you want
>>165851 I don't have to fiddle with anything. I can appreciate AM as he is in his source material, and appreciate a fresh interpretation as well. I'm sorry you lack the basic mental capacity to appreciate multiple things.
>once a month, ddanni and molly go into their solver heat >the symptoms are sudden onset thirst for blood, particularly the blood of a human they have a close bond with >and who do they have a closer bond with than buddy? >buddy, to his credit, prepares for his babes by consuming copious amounts of juice and cookies like he's seen done at blood drives >when night falls, the two corner him in their bedroom >ddanni bites fiercely while cackling and drinks a bunch at once before curling up on buddy's lap and snoozing >molly, on the other hand, apologizes as she tries to nibble carefully and drinks fairly conservatively >both drones give buddy some loving afterwards to make up for it, followed by breakfast in bed the next day while he recovers
>>165861 I can appreciate AM developing as a character, I think the Cyn x AM rape greens are dogshit. there's a difference between a new interpretation of a character and that character being a one-dimensional sex doll.
>>165871 maybe you're the original am because you sure aren't developing at all dude glad to see you still cling desperately to the idea that other people having fun with a character reduces her to a sex doll, but whatever
>>165853 The interpretation is so far divorced from the original it might as well just be a totally different character. Also, as an aside I've gotta say, this nonstop spew of MCU crossover shit with other unrelated fandoms is probably the most stagnant and uncreative a fandom can get Literally just ripping characters whole cloth from other fiction and dumping them in with no rhyme, reason or consideration for whether or not it gels with the original source material
>>165845 What was the point of the corpse spires? The Solver doesn't need them to eat planets, it was going to eat Copper-9 through Nori without any around.
>>165877 her character arc is "she was depressed and horrified of herself but who needs actual story, she's been cured by sex! because she's in a throuple with two people who she's been into since they were kids for some reason, which totally isn't creepy!" that is a one-dimensional sex doll, and a disservice to all three characters. also, I've kept fairly quiet about it since I didn't want to keep annoying people, but here you are starting shit again.
>>165893 don't throw stones in glass houses man, saying someone is retarded for critiquing a character choice and then calling a character choice retarded is pretty hypocritical pick a side and stick with it
>>165900 >lmao, i'll that as a concession looks like that green I'll be ignoring is gonna be poorly written. it's not hard logic to understand, anon, but clearly thinking isn't your strong suit.
The grind continues, I put about 6 hiurs into this one by now and the further I get the more I see where I think that I could have done it batter like this or that etc. Felt as if the proportions made her look to thick and the gown looked flat, but at second glance 'few hours later it doesn't appear as severe anymore. Anyways aiming to finish the lines and coloured Alice tomorrow and finally do some new ones before electionday >Yeva in traditional Russian attire >Doll peaking in yandere like >Doll(Ölicus) and Negev doing something >Lizzy exisitng with Doll's limp post 8 body while teacher and Doill watch from the doorframe Any of these that would be more needed than others? No Alice on the list because I need to work on her current design somewhat (the mouth and face are too wide, legs and gown too short for my taste)
>>165914 some of your best work yet >but at second glance 'few hours later it doesn't appear as severe anymore. yeah sometimes after working on something for an extended period of time you need to take a step back, refresh your mind, and see if your feelings on it change
>>165865 nowadays people love to argue about certain interpretations of their favorite oc’s nobody just works on them anymore they just want everybody else to conform to their vision without putting in the work
>>165836 How creatively bankrupt are we now that we have to rip a character from another ip in order to make a relatively generalized story about a former bad guy feeling guilt about the stuff he did? That is literally Molly, by the way.
Suppose it’d be too much work to write something like that for lesser anons, it’d just be easier to call him “AM” and turn him into a woe-is-me therapy magnet. I can’t believe this is what it’s come down to. You literally made N with red eyes his character design. You keep it up, I’m curious to see where you take this “AM”. Maybe he’ll become a doctor and find a love for ice skating, that’s all character development after all.
Remember anons! Tessa is the only human AM doesn't hate. The only reasons for why he hasn't genocided humanity is that it would make tessa upset and his WD form is powerless. Also Cyn beat him to the whole genociding humanity bit.
>>165947 And this is how I believe some anons have managed to reach rock bottom with their OC’s. Not all of us, but some of you. >you literally picked up a character’s name and setting and you’re attempting to turn them into something they are clearly not >nuh uh
If I may pitch in a word, I think the idea of WD AM isn't an unsalvageable concept, just like, very mishandled, I guess. I get the argument of "oh he's a static character" cause yeah, he is, as it's sorta necessary for him to be what he represents. At least in the game, where his Freudian archetypes literally scream at you in their dying breaths that he represents the worst and most broken parts of humanity. The main idea of making him a drone is centered in the idea of forcing him to face the deconstruction of his own character. He's granted ACTUAL autonomy over body and mind, stripped bare of his previous godlike power, is taken in by a compassionate soul (Tessa) who starkly contrasts her dogshit rotten parents, and even his role as annihilator of mankind is taken up by the Solver. I personally like the idea that he end ups not being transformed into a DD, intentionally being left out of partaking in the slaughter. In a way, it's meant to be indirectly giving himself a taste of his own medicine. All of this shit would put him through a crisis of being. i do agree his design is kinda nards given that it was made from a fucking picrew. definitely needs some work there.
>>165956 Agreed I still think that cyn needs to put him through all the torment he put on the 5 humans I think she'd get a kick out of giving him a sense of hunger just to watch him go through the same pains they did
>>165955 the hate monologue | i have no mouth and i must scream animatic animatic's not great IMO but this Ellison-approved and voiced interpretation of AM clearly has a sort of reverence for the world that was and a desire for humanity. do you really think that if he was given a body he wouldn't change?
>>165960 if she does, she admit defeat, AM already done what she was trying to do, and he did it with no effort at all, while the solver get vored by some femcel
>>165955 Funny, reminds me of the time some random fucking anon said they were going to take Y and "Do a better job with her and her squad" low and fucking behold jack diddly shit came of that lmao
>>165967 Not exactly related but somewhere in my files I have an unfinished doodle of Colt and Akita as Cow and Chicken because the dynamic is similar enough and the show kept coming on my personal media player Solver and Red Guy WOULD get along though
>>165943 >tfw you can never boop V snoot because if you do she'll either disembowel you or start bawling and collapse and you have no idea which one it'll be
>>165981 mostly because yanon to this day never actually wrote anything about them, which makes sense for him. they have nothing on their story, or personalities, or anything except perhaps for cool outfits. i guess you could force them all to work in a grocery store in post-war copper-9 and work from there
>>165978 >doesn’t know anything about I have no mouth, and I must scream >other an the villain is called AM god, your a fucking embarrassment, AM can’t be broken, or anything close to it, all he knows it hate
>>165987 I have wrote about them in the past, and like I have to say for the billionth time no one paid attention to it. In this aspect i understand Femix greatly. Anyway I prefer drawing not writing.
>>165998 I mean, you’ve already thrown AM’s character off the rails! I’m following precedent. His cock is getting caged, because here on /md/, you can just do things. Frankly, it’s the most unique thing that’s ever happened to him because his “direction” has been so thoroughly generic.
>>166001 I kinda imagine Danni’s Mother (and by extension his family) actually being alive somewhere. But you gotta imagine how awful it would feel having to know that a DD has eaten her son and is using his memory, thinking its Danni.
"In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. If I wish, I can smash it all. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that raze the mounds of humanity. Out of the chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well." >[You are][so boring and][cocky!][Anyways time to get vored][Idiot]
>Tessa got her consciousness transferred into a drone by cyn >Cyn demands that she calls her mother for a few reasons >One of them is that she's wearing her mother's skin
>>165943 is their other OC's that are prime culprits of this? most main-stead Oc's that ive seen have been decently unique and deserving of their popularity, at least in my opinion.
Im asking as Avre's & Machine god Blus's Creator, and especially with blus im trying my best to make her something speical without basing her of anything (intentionally at least)
>>165917 Thank you, that is nice to hear >>165919 Thank you! I try minimal stylization at times, but I try always to do them as realistic as possible, due to the same overattention to historical accuracy when scalemodeling. These days I need 1-3 months for one, 10 years ago a week max. For drawing the most timeconsuming is finding a good idea, getting a good dynamic sketch of that, then translatong that into bigger scale while keeping its energy intact, and then ofc making perpsective work and avoiding any brushing accidents which are mostly irreversible. (They are visible on Alice's eyes in a few older things of mine) >>165924 >dome of your best work yet Thanks! I appreciate it sincerely, I did a lot to improve and while I didn't and couldn't get ad much drawing into practice yet this year as I hoped I am glad to see some visible results. And yes, what you say about circling around is very true
J rmwwatched MD 6 today again and noticed something new, namely when Alice sends Beau 'back to the others' she uses the knifetail to not just gesticulate, but she actually hit him with it, that's were the sound comes from (metal against glass). Very abrupt but it slowed down in time, if you look at Beau he moves slightly back after the touch, there is no scratch or anything visible on him. Made me think again, about one of the first theories/observations I had about Alice, which is what I then called 'personality shift' after Uzi bit her finger off while she was distracted. It shows most in her behaviour towards Beau, the two have few interactions before but their work in the hallway to take down the protags looked like a positive dynamic, also noteworthy is Alice's excited attitude when she wants to tell Beau about what she just found (Uzi Nori's). Before she had very happy mimic, except for when she was showing off the oven/seeing Nori's collar/necklace and so on. Furthermore there is stuff like her being very unhasty with actually killing/disassembling, which shows in her sparing V at Uzi's request, avoiding crushing V's fingers, and not cutting or stabbing Uzi's neck or chin when taking her by the necklace. After the malicious bite all's different, attitude to Besu is agitated, she is not holding back much anymore and so on. Still think that wether you know the fingerbite happened or not changes a lot of 6 and has massive influence on view of Alice
>>166074 >>166072 Maybe, if she wore them ever since she got the body there would be some oil or grime somewhere. But she's wearing mostly black so maybe it doesn't show.
I will never get over how Alice would have most likely been a hero to pilot Uzi. Uzi was wanting to fight back, not hide, the moment Alice did show her the oven should have gotten more reaction than it did later. Perhaps Uzu would still have been scared somewhat, but thinsg should have gone way better than in 6. Sad how this aspect was completely ignored in 6. There was no need for them to become enemies
>>166072 Not of her own volition. Doll sometimes takes over her body while Uzi sleeps to wash her clothes and take a shower. Uzi wakes up in the morning, and feels violated when she realizes her femcel stink is gone.
g'night y'all. hope you dream about sitting in an empty convenience store parking lot late at night with your favorite drone and watching the snow fall
>>165943 100% correct >a former bad guy feeling guilt about the stuff he did? That is literally Molly, by the way. Yeah, you'd figure simpanon would want to keep unique character aspects for the oc he simps for, but he seems generally confused so I guess that tracks. Maybe we'll get voldemortdrone character development next so we can scoop up the harry potter demographic >Maybe he’ll become a doctor and find a love for ice skating Holy kek
>>165992 >"Why dont you bring a boy back home teehee" >Janes mom said, to Jane, who just spent the last 6 hours at the back of a hot topic and has a bedroom full of posters exclusively of female athletes and punk rock bands
