Hello my Friends! I hope you are having a wonderful day, an amazing day, a good day. Let's talk about Drones, shall we? We must talk about Drones, how lovely they are, how much they deserve love. And we also should talk about Murder Drones and anything Thread related too! Let's have so much fun as always! The SENSATIONAL Booru: https://dronebooru.co
>Tessa recovers Doll and Uzi from the pile, not Cyn >They are Jcjenson solver experiments that were successfully patched but were discarded due to being rebellious What happens?
>>13972 >Your grandma Tessa takes you to the junkyard where she used to sneak into and drag drones away to be her friends back when she was a problem child >You walk by a random pile >You hear "Sobbing. Sobbing. Sobbing."
>>13975 >Tessa takes Doll and Uzi in instead of Cyn >The Solver outbreak never happens >Cyn spends 60years trapped under drone corpses, immobile and crying
>>13980 Depends on the availability of parts and their complexity. Assuming a steady source of components and ready access to them, probably a short time frame. Maybe a month?
>Be Anon. >Work in a small Hair Salon in a commercial part of town. >The work is easy, and the pay is decent, but your customers are either old, bitchy, or both. >One day you get a call from your Boss. >Turns out your workplace just got bought out from an office across the street, Boss is gonna use the money for an early retirement. >[Well Shit, i'm out of a job...] >Few minutes Later, get another call, this time by a new number. >Claims to be one of the Managers from the office that bought you out, asking if you wish to keep your position, offering a raise + Additional Benefits if I go through a new training course. >[...or maybe not.] >You accept their offer, and schedule your next available times for training. >"We hope you enjoy your time working for JCJ(IS)." >A few weeks later, you finish your new training and are currently reading over your new terms & benefits. >While you were training, the old workplace has been going through a renovation. >The whole block actually, seems they bought out every storefront on this street and redoing the whole place, All Catering more for the staff and other members of their rapidly growing offices. >Your workplace still Classifies as a Salon, but rebuilt to be more suited for tailoring Drones instead of humans; Your a Few steps down from doing actual Mechanical work, but your now tasked with Cleaning, Polishing, Laundry, and anything to keep the drones upkept outside scheduled maintenance. >Looking through your benefits page, one of the things listed is "An assigned drone to help with work-related matters" >Sure enough, shortly before you started your first workday, you were greeted by a worker drone, who's tasked to help with the paperwork and files related to each drone you end up working with. >Meet Jim. >Jim Seems... odd to be assigned to a place like this. >He has the type of attitude of someone who shouldn't be working in a Salon unless he had a secondary motive, and that Motive doesn't seem to involve anything around you. >You've heard of strange things about this company and its drone employees, and you had started to fear the worst, but Jim seems more preoccupied with your clients more than anything else. >Case and point, within the first few weeks, Jim starts chatting and flirting with the drones the two of you are working on. >He seems particularly interested in the DD variants of drones, despite the massive difference in size, effective armaments, and mental stability. >There's been no Shortage of you receiving conversation and compliments from the drones you work on, however anything higher than that usually gets shut down pretty quickly by Jim. >At one point, one of the drones you where polishing (a small, blue eyed worker drone) asked if I was single >Before I could respond, Jim shook his head. "He's with me." The drone replies with a sad "oh." before looking away, not saying another word for the rest of the cleaning process. >After work, I ask Jim about what that was about, and I get one hell of an explanation. >”The thing about working for JCJ(IS), especially if your deal with HoDR, is that they have very specific ‘Policies’ regarding relationships with drones and humans” >”Those policies can be boiled down to the fact that they want us to be Dating.” >”Lucky for you… I don't really have a thing for humans… no offense.” >[None taken, but then why work here?] >”That's easy, have you seen the hardware that comes through these doors? I kinda lied on my preference sheet, just so I could use the gig here to uh… ‘Window shop’… heh.” >despite how creepy it sounds when he states it like that, it seems to be working out for both him and some clients, who seem to only come somewhat regularly to talk with Jim while upkeep is done. >Whatever floats your silicone boat I guess, but it does leave you in a potentially shitty position. >[What happens when you do find one you like? I'm assuming HoDR aren't going to be happy to see you going out with other drones] >”already thought about that, and i'll cut you a deal:” >”You See, HoDR doesn't really care whether or not what drone you end up being in a relationship with, only that you are in one.” >”so, while I'm looking for a drone for me, I can help find a drone for you. One we do, we can “split” and no-one will bat an eye, sounds good?” >While the thought of dating a drone by choice doesn't seem bad, you're still annoyed you kinda got forced into this situation outside your own will. >But it might be a better option then testing my luck with what HoDR sends as a replacement. >[Eh fuck it, sounds good.] >”Good, now we just sit pretty, keep our act up, and wait for our moment.” (1/-)
Do you guys think a Murder Drones game in the style of Unreal 1998 would work where instead of you escaping from Na Pali after the Vortex Rikers crashes, you play as either a human or a drone and you have to escape from a planet that's being consumed by the Solver?
>>13988 I think that would work towards the end of the campaign and with how Unreal favours large expansive levels or tight maps with lots of exploration along with puzzle solving it would be fucking great.
>>11647 >"C'mon it can't be worse than /trash/." The reference >>11676 didn’t have any colors so I used the default grays and yellows. This is the final of the requests, I am going to draw some of my own ideas next. Sorry if I didn’t do yours better luck next time.
>>13986 >>13988(me) Actually this could be a fucking banger game the more I think about it
>NPC Humans & Drones are akin to the Nali; (You) can either rescue/protect them from Murder Drones or kill them yourself at your discretion. There can even be a curveball element of some of the Human/Drone NPCs being Solver Possessed to make the choice of sparing or killing them a more nuanced choice of risk VS reward >The Solver War is still raging all around you, with air/orbital strikes being both a hazard and environmental 'feature' in between the equally sprawling & desolated set pieces you traverse >The arsenal you can get ranges from 'mundane' ballistic weapons, sci-fi laser/plasma guns & even Solverfied superweapons
>>13983 >Some time passes, work quickly gets mundane and your drone clients start establishing a routine. >Mostly Standard worker drones, a couple Disassembly Drones, and the rare Sentinel Drone come through your salon somewhat regularly, getting cleaned up for work, potential dates, or other activities that require them to "look their best" >Regularly overhear conversations between them, banter about work, relationships, and upcoming events, with the occasional rant/vent about wanting a human who's either already taken, or doesn't show interest in them >DDs giving a little too much detail about them following people home, watching them sleep through their windows, and general illegal stalking activity if it wasn't coming from a drone specifically built to be proficient in those exact tasks. >Due to you job contracts, your not permitted to voice concerns about relationships unless it's through a ticket submitted directly through HoDR (which they will immediately chuckle and throw out) >Otherwise, Business as usual. >One day, two of the few Sentinel drones you have as regular clients chime in about an upcoming event. >A bunch of Sentinel drones are being shipped in from off world, apparently directly from a warfront in some fuck-off far system, fighting god knows what. >Some are going to be assigned jobs here at the JCJ(IS) offices you work across the street from. >They say to expect a couple to show up here for deep cleaning. >Sure enough, a day or so later, the two SD’s come in shouldering a 3rd, new SD. >Dazed, dirty, looking like they are fresh from a trench and with a 1000 yard stare to match. >The Two SD drones shuffle her into the chair while Jim pulls up her files. >Name: SD:AVRE >Classification: Sentinel >Subclassification: Field Sentinel Class [Combat Engineer retrofit] >Occupation: [Combat Engineer - INACTIVE] [FORKLIFT ASSISTANT - PENDING] >Last Scheduled Checkup: [4y:1m:20d] >Jesus Christ she's a mess. >We de-robe her and toss everything into the laundry. >She is still somewhat dazed, so you do standard protocol for unresponsive/incapacitated Drones. >you flick her head visor, which caused the drone to activate a "status check" >lines of code quickly filling her screen, coming to a stop abruptly with the line: [HUMAN CONTACT DETECTED: TRAUMA SUPPRESSION ACTIVE.] >Her eyes return, still displaying lines indicating stress, but she is otherwise responding fine. >We move her to the shower for a moment, and While she is distracted by the Two drones she came in with, Jim & I power wash the dirt and other junk off her chassis. >Despite being the same class and height of the drones she's with, she's noticeably bigger then the others, with what appears to be extra plates added to the front of her torso and upper arms. >Despite the Addon Armor she is covered head to peg in scratches, gashes, dents and burns. all of which look recent. >Some Sentinel drone types have slower regeneration compared to DD's and other sentinels, so we add the marks to her damage report which we send to a repair technician who we sometimes send drones too who need more than cleaning done. >While Jim sets up the repair appointment, you get her back in the chair and move to cleaning out joints and harder to reach areas. >Previously distracted by conversation, the Drone now lays its eyes on you again while you're working on her elbow joints. As you work through your checklist, she seems to be taking a notable interest in your actions, but remains Silent. >She flinches a few times while removing chunks of dirt, rocks, and metal from her joints, exposing further damage. >More notes for the Damage report >after that is said and done, we skip polishing due to extensive chassis damage and move to cleaning the head. >Cleaning worker drone heads is easy, you can pop off the wig and clean it separately, or just toss it in the wash. DD's & SD’s have their wigs “built in", so you need to wash it in a more traditional manner. >the chair tilts back, and you begin putting shampoo & conditioner into the hair while the drone watches you from the weird angle, unbothered by the soap getting all over their visor. >Sentinel drones sometimes come with varying additions to the traditional "headband" that they & DD's have by default. >Avre here is no exception, with a massive antenna & light fixture on the side of her head, attached to where one of the headbands "eye" was previously. >Despite its clunky size, it wasn't bothered by the soap and water, and did not hamper the cleaning process much. (2/-)
>>13993 >Just like the Nali, escorting and protecting NPCs to certain points would award you with more supplies/weapons/powerups. >Very rarely you could recruit NPCs to follow you through levels with weapons as they help you out. Recuitable NPCs act like deathmatch bots from UT99 with varying degrees of skill.
Since the only two possible races the player could play as are human and worker drones, here's how I think each opening level could go: >Human - you wake up in the infirmary of a bunker heavily injured. Everyone else around you is dead so you scavenge for supplies to heal yourself and make a break for the surface. Along the way you realise DDs are inside the bunker. Soon you find a weapon and encounter your first DD. After that you finally make it to the surface. >WD - you awaken in the bunker in your recharge pod after an indefinite amount of time. Every other pod has been thrashed and carcasses of your drone cadre are litter the room, somehow you're the only one alive. As you traverse the bunker, you see both dead humans and drones. You get ambushed by a DD as it chases you until you find a weapon and kill it. You then make your way to the surface.
After that the campaign could be the same for both races with minor changes depending on the player race.
Anyone feel like posting more OC Themes and Voices? just reply to this one (I kinda want to see if Oogi has their own unique theme or something and what that would be)

>Finished with as much cleaning as you can do this session before her scheduled repairs, you grab her clothes out of the laundry. >As she gets her things together, you check in with Jim and the repair report. Once everything looked good, her and the Drones she came with went on their way to the repair depot. >She gives a hushed “Thank you.” on the way out. >Once they leave, you notice Jim giving a chuckle. >"She looked like she didn't know what planet she was on, she must have been through hell wherever she came from." >He was right, even when she was acting fine, she always had this glazed look in her eyes. >besides when she was looking at you. >Huh. >A few more SD’s in similar condition come on that day, but Avre stands out for you, for unknown reasons. >A few days goes by, She comes by a few more times, now repaired and ready for polish. >Everything goes by like normal, but she still has that look, like she has bombs going off in her head ruining her train of thought." >Doing status checks usually seems to suppress it for a moment, but it usually comes back after a while. >Your concerns for her are put on hold as Jim limps in for his shift. >One arm on a brace for support, the other arm missing, covered head to mechanical foot in bandages, and the biggest shit-eating-grin you've ever seen. >[The fuck happened to you?] >"Everything I couldve dreamed of, I found one! A girl for me!" >[A Girl? Did That to you?] >"Oh yeah, you know how some DD's are, one minute you're having a nice conversation and a good dinner, next thing you know, you're being dragged into the vents and getting every liquid drained outta ya." >considering how some of the DD's that came by were more on the "feral" side of things, this is not surprising. >what is surprising is that Jim sees that as a positive, especially as a worker drone. >Guy has a death wish or something, but (You) wont judge, right? >Explains how he acts around them while working, at least. >[What about the arm?] >"Oh that, ill get a new one today, the repair insurance working here will cover it, don't worry." >”You, however, are starting to run out of time. Have you found anyone that's peaked your interest at all? >You haven't really thought about it much honestly, none of the clients you've been around really clicked with you at all, not besides- >Uhoh. >[Uh, what about that one Sentinel Drone, AVRE?] >Whatever thoughts were going through Jims head came to a grinding halt. >He ponders for a concerning amount of time. >”Are you sure? She seems alright, but have you seen what Sentinel drones are like? All of them feel like they were programmed with a little yandere-dev code in them, if you catch my drift.” >[Funny words coming from a worker dating a DD who just ate his arm.] >”That's Different- ah fine. I'll help you figure something out, just be careful ok? SD’s are Weird.” >”Once they get their eyes on you, there's no turning back, you know that right? They'd butcher you and everyone around you if they can't get you, even DD’s don't go that far… most of the time. >Jim reaches for something in his desk, pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to you. >”Our ‘Manager’ wanted us to update our employee files, most of it already filled out, finish it and ill alert the “Respective Personnel”.” >Sure enough, the only blank space on this paper is under the label “Relationship status” >After a bit of hesitation, you write “Single” in the space, then hand it back to Jim. >”I sure hope you know what you're doing.” >[oh absolutely not, but what's the worst that can happen?] >Jims concerned face says more words than you'll ever need to hear. >>14014 >Within a Few days, you start Noticing a few things occurring almost immediately: >For starters, Avre is coming by the Salon Almost daily now, and is acting much more talkative than before. >Previously, she talked a lot under her breath, only giving simple responses, and only saying a few things per visit. >Now, she is much more lively, asking questions about the town you're in & general conversation pieces. >you also can now hear your decently thick british accent, and you even notice she has a small gap in her front… teeth, thing? It's more of a sharp curved plate for biting, but you know what I mean. >Another thing you notice is that she is following you around after work alot. >Despite her best efforts, she's not being very sneaky doing so, and you often catch her sitting among a crowd or peeking around a corner. >Shes about as stealthy as a Tank. >You still only really see her around work grounds, so you are not too bothered… yet. >As for Jim and his relationship, things seem to be going well for him. >Occasionally he comes to work covered in casts and bite marks, but he still has all his limbs attached, and he seems happy about the whole thing, so nothing to really worry about. >He still drips oil around the workplace sometimes. >One Visit, Avre is talking about her co-workers while you are rinsing her hair, nothing unusual happens until she suddenly changes topic: >”I've noticed that bugger Jim over there… they seem to be pretty happy with the DD they are dating, do you have anyone like that by chance?” >Saw this coming. >You explain half decently that Jim was originally assigned to (You), but the two of you “grew distant”, so currently you're technically Single. >Knowing the Reputation of sentinel drones, she probably already knew that somehow, but it didn't stop her eyes lighting up anyways. >She would have jumped out of the chair right then and there if you weren't still scrubbing her head >After some further Discussion, you exchange numbers and she asks if you want to do anything this weekend (its Thursday) > you say you're busy that weekend (You're not, you just wanted to play vidia all weekend.), but we can schedule later if she wants. >She agrees, and says she'll call you later about it. >Fast forward to friday >She doesnt show up like usual that day, which raises concerns but you brush it off. >Jim also doesn't show up that day, you are less surprised about that, as sometimes he gets too injured to show up sometimes due to “Date-related injuries” >Despite that, the day goes by quickly and you find yourself at home preparing for a relaxing weekend. >you get a knock at the door. >you open it to find… Jim. >Jim, is pretending not to be Jim, he's wearing a different uniform and trying his best to fake an accent, but that is unmistakingly Jim. >”Sorry to disturb you Mr/Ms Anon…, but we need to do some electrical work on your uh… house. Expect your power to be cut for a few hours while we work on the lines.” >Behind him on the street is another drone you remember from the offices, and a rented Utility truck unsuited for electrical work. >What game are they playing here? (4/-)
>>14008 >>14008 Y and Kat have a dual nature in a way. For Kat I would go for a nice and cute beat that gets interrupted every now and then by the same rhythm played with wilder instruments, to show how she jumps from one state to another. For Y I would go with two different beats playing at once. They would compliment eachother, because it is annoying to have two different tunes clashing, but one tune would be at a lower volume. The louder tune would have a military theme with drums, like this. 7th Legion - Background Music 1 The quiet tune would represent her calm and repressed former life. Should she come to terms with her existence, the two tunes will merge imto a new one.
>I have no time and I must draw How deal with this...just one more day Also a question I had for some time now, namely when Alice closed the oven in 6 and Uzi tried to use her Solver (but was disabled by magnets), what do you think Uzi intended to do, had she gotten her way?
>>14023 >You roll with the situation and Jim scribbles in a Notebook for a bit before going around behind your house. >No sooner do you lose sight of Jim when you see Avre round the corner of your block, walking at a pace best described as “Concerning” >She quickly reaches your position, arms behind her back and tail swishing. >”Oh hello Anon! I've Heard your power is out, is everything alright?” >You, standing a doorway of a house still clearly with power: >[Uhh… Not currently, but they did say something about them working on the lines-] >Right on Cue, the Lights turn off behind you, and “totally not Jim” Comes back from behind the house, nods at Avre, and goes and sits in the truck with the other drone. >[-Ah.] >”Oh that's a shame, but my guess is you're now free this evening?” >Now thoroughly in the clutches of whatever this attempt of Interception is, you have no choice but to say yes. >”Well how does dinner sound? I know a place not too far from here we can go to.” >you reluctantly accept, and get dragged along until you find yourself back on JCJ(IS) rapidly expanding property. >Your best guess is that at one point, the company scooped up this restaurant like everything else, and converted it to serve both Drones and Humans. >The two of you enter, find an empty table, and order some dishes. >You order a normal, if not slightly fancy looking burger, while She orders a seemingly normal steak with an almost oily looking sauce. >Despite the circumstances, the dinner was going pleasantly. >Her pleasant attitude overshadows whatever is going on inside her head, at least currently. >She was asking questions about your hobbies and life here in town, and you asked her about a few things involving her, her hobbies, and the war she was fighting in. >understandably she doesn't talk much about the war, and the glazed look comes back a little, but she snaps out of it pretty quickly, otherwise she mostly just works in the storage warehouse of the facility and assembles model vehicles in her spare time. >At one point, she asks to see your hand for a moment, you oblige and she holds it with both of hers. >“Very hard to fault soft hands like these, very nice they are.” >She pulls your hand closer, placing it on her cheek and holding it there. Her tail has been gently wagging. >the Drone seems entirely fixated on your hand until she notices something to your left. >She immediately panics and hides her face, Letting go of your hand. >you look over to see a small group of drones outside the window closest to your table, many of the faces you recognize from work. A few of them are holding phones. >Even Jim is there, still wearing the electrician uniform. >After a while the group walks off, seeming satisfied at what they saw, leaving you and Avre alone again. >She still has her face buried in her arms, you poke her and let her know that they left. >She collects herself and explains that they might have shown up because they were excited to see her finally dating someone. >you didn't know she was having difficulty with things like this, but it might explain why she seems… clingy. >You finish dinner without much else happening, but you feel bad about the dinner getting ruined by the onlookers. >Perhaps you should try again someplace more… private? >[Maybe next time we have dinner, can you come to my place? How does that sound?] >She says that sounds wonderful, and offers to cook for that evening. >you accept and you eventually depart for the night. >By the time you're back home, the power is back on, leaving you with the rest of the weekend to process it all. >Surely this next dinner will go well… right? >Right? >>14040 >The days come and go, and now the night of Date #2 is here. >Right at the top of the hour, you hear a knock on the door. >It's Avre, carrying a bag of ingredients for what I can only assume is tonight's dinner. >”Hello Anon, are you excited for tonight?” >Admittedly you were rather nervous, but you also ended up not eating much today, so you body is craving something good. >[I am, what are you going to be cooking?] >”Its a secret. :>” >You invite her in and she gets herself setup in the kitchen. >In her bag, she pulls out a Cooking apron with the words “Kiss the Drone.” written on the front, and gets to work. >you try to keep yourself occupied while she cooks, but every once in a while you peek in to check in on her. >She's humming to herself while mixing a bowl of what appears to be mashed potatoes, her tail waving to the rhythm of the mixing. >After about 30 minutes, dinner is ready and you both sit. >She reveals the dish to be… >”Bangers and Mash :DDD” >You honestly expected the secret to be a… fancier meal, but neither you nor your stomach is complaining. >As you eat, you notice she never made a plate for herself, you ask her why. >She comments something about an upset stomach, which makes you raise an eyebrow. >[Surely a few bites wouldn't hurt? You did a wonderful job on these potatoes.] >you scoop a bite for her and she eats it without thinking. >She ends up borrowing your spoon and taking a few more bites before stopping herself suddenly. >whatever, more for you I guess. >You quickly finish the plate, complimenting her on the excellent cooking. >She seems… concerned. Was she not lying about the stomach issues? >Actually, you're starting to feel a little funny yourself. >You try to excuse yourself to the bathroom, but after walking a few steps your legs start to give in, you find yourself on the floor, rapidly becoming unable to move. >At the same time, you start to hear Avre get up from her chair. >”Anon! Are you ok? Let me hel-” >Her concerns are cut short by her beginning to stubble herself, you see the sound of her head putting a basketball sized hole in your drywall on the way down. >There's now two of you on the floor. >”....aw bugger.” >You're starting to think the food was poisoned. >Might as well throw formalities out the window. >[...those potatoes were drugged, weren't they?] >”...maybe.” >you can still hear her trying to move, to little avail. >[...why?] >The shuffling continues for a moment, then stops. >”I just thought it would be nice if I made a nice dinner, when we uhh…Hugged… for a while.” >She wanted to cuddle. >You were drugged for cuddles. >... >God damn it, that's kinda funny. >[You know you could've just asked, right? We are technically dating you know.] >”Yeah… I really ballsed this all up, didn't I… you're not mad, are ya?” >You probably should be. >Honestly you should be absolutely pissed right now. >But you're not, you don't know if it's the drugs, or you feeling bad for this Absolute Girlfall laying next to you, but either way you're not mad. >[No, I'm not mad, the Dinner was still good, even if you did drug it.] >The shuffling continues, its getting closer now. >”...Then do you mind if I try my Plan B?” >You feel something grab your leg. >Slowly she's been crawling to where you lay, and is slowly pulling herself behind you. >I guess the dosage of whatever she put in the food she ate wasn't enough to fully immobilize her like it did you. >eventually she's got herself to hug you from behind, entangling herself around you. >You even feel her tail slowly warp around the two of you. >this… isn't terrible. >You'd certainly want to be in better situations than this, but “Cuddled by a Clingy Sentinel drone while paralyzed” isn't the worst thing. >Its pretty far down there though. >>13972 >"You lay one little purple haired finger on her and i'll mount you on my wall you hear me drone?" >"Stop it daddy, I love her!" >"No daughter of mine is getting involved with some no good purple haired drone" >Uzi let's out a sharp scream, causing James to miss his shot while she leaps away. >Uzi then grabs Tessa and soars through the sky >"You can fly" Tessa exclaims while Uzi giggles happily. >"Oh no you don't" States James as he snipes Uzi out of the sky, leading to them both falling to their deaths.
I'm not a drawfag, but I was hearing the Disco Elysium OST, a game where your skills have portraits and I wanted to do a doodle, a representation to resist the temptation any DD has to just eat and kill. Yeah, it's really bad.
>>14063 >Yeah, it's really bad. The absolute worst thing I could say about this piece is that the perspective of the anatomy is off, otherwise this is actually really well done. Real, unironic SOVL
>>14049 >Having no real ability to move, paired with the Drone hugging you from behind while the both of you lay on the floor, there really wasn't much to do, you eventually fall asleep. >Last thing you remember is Avre Humming a tune under her breath as you drift to sleep. >You wake up in your bed, still wearing the clothes you had on last night. >Your limbs feel a little sluggish, but you're able to move again. >You make your way to the kitchen to find it cleaned up, and a note. >”Sorry about Tonight, see you tomorrow :)” >The hole in the drywall is still there. >You suddenly remember that you had work today… >And your a few hours late already >Fuck. >You rush over to work as fast as your still slightly flimsy limbs can get you. >You come through the door to find… >Jim and Avre chatting >[Sorry i'm late, i was uh…-] >”-Drugged by a Sentinel drone, yeah i know, she told me.” >”ehe :>” >She seemed unusually smug about the whole thing. >But she did get what she wanted in the end so [shrug] >Looks that they dealt with any clients that showed up, so you shouldent have any complaints. >You get back to work, and Avre kinda loiters around a bit between having conversations between you and Jim, before eventually departing for work herself. >After she leaves, Jim chimes in: >”You see why I was so concerned? You're lucky she's a sweetheart.” >[Well aware, thank you very much.] >”At least you two seem happy.” >Despite everything, you are. >Sure, she's a bit concerning at times, but like Jim said, she's a sweetheart & that's all I need right now. >[Yeah… im Happy.] >The days goes by, you two go through a few more dinners together (minus the drugged food) >She really seems like she just wants to cuddle all the time, and honestly you're fine with giving her the affection she seems to crave. >But you were always curious about why. >One day, you get your answer. >You receive a Call from Avre after not seeing her for a day or 2 >She seems distressed, and is asking her if you can meet her at the offices across the street. >You're on break, so you head over. >Surprisingly your id badge allows you access into the offices, despite it being an entire different department in a separate building. >You follow her directions until you find Floor Filled with lockers >Going down the rows, you eventually find the number that Avre listed as hers. >You wait for a minute outside, until you notice another drone walk past you, find a specific locker, and climb in. >In retrospect, she's probably inside the locker. >You decide to knock, once you do, the locker shakes a little, before 2 blue ovals peer through the grate. >Before you can react, the locker slams open, and 2 arms grab you and pull you inside, the locker door shuts behind you. >You are now firmly in the embrace of a very shaky Sentinel drone, inside a locker. >Wonderfull. >In between sniffles, she apologizes for not showing up the last few days, as she was busy with work >As She speaks, you notice something in her visor, a familiar line of code: >[HUMAN CONTACT DETECTED: TRAUMA SUPPRESSION ACTIVE.] >After a while of clinging to your very cramped body, her shaking ceases and she slowly regains her cohesion. >That's when it hits you. >Whenever she's away, that glazed look You remember her having comes back, and kinda hampers her ability to do anything normally. >but when she's around you, it seems to go away, especially if she- >Oh. >You realize you're currently being used as a Human sized stress toy. >The feelings you are going through are… mixed to say the least. >On one hand, you don't think you have the qualifications required for “stress toy” >On the other… it's kinda nice not gonna lie. >Do you feel manipulated by the whole thing? Oh yeah. Do you really care anymore? >Hell no. >You try your best to return the embrace given to you, trying your best to get comfortable in your current situation >Lets hope you can get used to this. (7/7) END?
This ended up being more worldbuilding then actual dialogue with this, but otherwise i'm happy with it. I wanna do more with salon anon and Avre, but brain is currently fried atm so eh, maybe later.
>>14071 Sentinel cuddles are great. Always good to see more sentinel drones and it's a good story. Kind of depressing that being near a human only suppresses their trauma and doesn't really help matters, but it explains why they'd be so clingy and dependent. Now if you want some critique, you swapped between first- and second-person a few times in the story, enough to be a bit distracting. Watch out for that.
>>14075 Nothing wrong with being new to writing, every mistake you spot is one you can improve on. OC that's written with genuine intent will always be accepted here.
>>14080 Maybe not, but there's probably some crazy articulation in those rubber-hose limbs.
Video:172188620035.mp4(79kB / 0:00:02 / avc1, 320x236)i dont like the tone of your voice.mp4
>Be JCJ employee at the JCJ employee party >It sucks >But there are some friends here >Having a nice chat with them >We are about to drop the biggest update to the public yet >Drones with personalities, it has been years in the making and will be totally free >Some of my friends and me included already have some drone GFS >Being a JCJ employee has its benefits >Coworker get in the conversation >It's kind of an outsider but pretty chill >In the middle of the conversation drops a bomb >"I think we need to give people a 2 month try out and then make them pay every month or we will remove all memories from the drone, I even have a meeting planned" >Complete silence >Idon'tLikeTheToneOfYourVoice.mp4 (literally) That was a year ago do you get it?, from what I've heard the update is still free, yes I'm pretty much confusing to a crime, mainly because I'm in a sector of space outside of JCJ jurisdiction with my drone lol, so the update has been good?
>>14070 Yeah, I'm not good, but thanks man, thanks for your kind words. >>14086 Thank you. >>14090 Not paper, just Photoshop, sorry. And no, I'm not that good haha.
>>14092 >Implying you ever have good ideas >And shit that hasn't been done before in a way better capacity. Honestly, I just wing most of my stuff. Which is the absolute antithesis to planning and scripting with edits.
>>14092 For me it's >Randomly get inspired >Have a bunch of fun writing it down and coming up with ideas >Read it the next day >It's fucking shit I just post that shit anyway. Seeing other people talking about my writing/characters keeps the self-loathing for my own stuff at bay >>14096 I pirated photoshop about a week ago, but it ran like shit. I have 32 gigs of RAM but it seems that it's randomly deciding to not take advantage of my memory. So I just went back to GIMP
>>14092 Thats not just write fags. Thats all creativefags. Trust me, the ideas in your head are not perfect. And even if they were if your skill is not perfect it will never be exactly what you are imagining. The only way to deal with this is to quote 'Get gud' unfortunately
>>14092 An important rule of thumb to keep in mind as a writefag (although frankly it could apply to any kind of creative venture) is thus; The process of translating our ideas into reality may never quite feel good enough, but an imperfect work still triumphs compared to even the most perfect of unmaterialized ideas
>>14089 Good thing that marketing-type guy is dead, he sounds like he sucked. Anyway, since we're confessing to crimes, I stole a display model N from a showroom in a mall during a terrorist attack. He's fine, except he either hates or is afraid of women.
>>14101 You heard me. >>14103 He asks if we can cross the street if there's a woman on our side of the sidewalk and stays around six feet away from them at all times, even jumping away if they get close. I try not to pry, but apparently the employees "did things" to him after hours. You know how the display models are kept online so you can press buttons to show their features, but are otherwise locked in place? Yeah.
>You hear a knock at your door at 12 AM >Deciding your better, you decide to investigate >Upon the door, you see it >An N plushie standing on it's legs looking up at you What do
>>14106 >Quickly check the shadows to make sure nobody's lurking out there >Open the door and say "hi" in that voice you put on when talking to something cute or small, not the annoying baby voice but the other one then prolly die
>>14107 >You hear the sound of his soft plushie numbs desperately banging against the glass >As the heat from the microwave causes him to expand, it rips a seam open on his face >Through that seam you hear his shrill pained scream of agony >His hat bursts into open flames
>>14092 Well then your idea wasn't perfect, now was it? But some of it is just a matter of time and effort- my stuff gets ~5 editing passes or so. If it's some specific feature of the writing, like pacing or characterization, you could try mini-exercises to practice before using it in your full work. Or have some other project to use as a warm-up, to get the creative circuits firing before proceeding to the main event.
>>14025 >Wind blew across the sand, he stood alone and he had no plan >And with the last rays of the sun, he screamed aloud began to run >In his tears he sees his face, "I am the end of the human race >When I'm gone there'll be no trace, for I'm the sole survivor!" Goes Hard I would try and find one for Jane but she has like 5 other songs associated with her it feels unfair this is probably the closer to being an actual theme Dead Rising 2: Off The Record - Firewater (Chuck Greene's theme) [HQ + Download]
>>14056 >Mid tier Well to be fair no one who was surprised by Sentinels fared any better ever, N got the same treatment, except he got carried away and the Sentinel was dramaticaly low finishing the job, plot armor Alice and 029 didn't get sadly
>>14147 >She rides them like she's riding a bull and that means lots of shaking while she screams "YEEEEHAW!". >Turns out hitting flesh repeatedly with metal is bad for human bones. Would Alice make her future husband drink lots of milk to strengthen his bones or do some hackwork surgery and replace his hip with a metal one?
>>14168 >Mitchell tries to break up the fight saying he'll spend time with both. >He unintentionally sets his fate as he now has two solver drones to contend with.
>You wake up, and the last thing you remember is trying to steal some copper from a site, a mining site >You look around, it's a tiny room, well-lit at least, but you don't recall this place >Trying to move your hands to your face makes you discover something, you are tied to a chair >Moving the best you can you notice you are tied from the torso to the legs, and you don't have any shoes, you are sure you had them before >After a few seconds you hear some steps outside getting closer to the door, and someone opening the door >It's a Disassembly Drone, how the fuck one is here, and is one wearing an Adidas jacket "Oh! Ya despertaste, los pacos ya vendran" You didn't understand a single word it said, you shouldn't have stolen in a shithole country >She looks at you, maybe she knows you don't understand her "Espera... You don't speak Spanish?" She looks confused for a second then delighted "OHH! Espera, I mean, wait here!" Is not like you are going anywhere >With a dumb big smile she runs out of the room, now that you see it better, this is a container... Your feet are cold
>After a while she comes back with a whiteboard in wheels, takes a marker out of her pocket, and writes 'Chilean 101' on the whiteboard >"Today we are learning the use of, 'chesumare', 'chuchetumare', 'conchetumare' and 'reconchetumare' which are all the same word but different ways of saying it, like an expression or insult" >You hope the police are coming to get you out of here >"Alright thief, listen up, you can end the word with '-madre' which is the normal way of saying it, or '-mare' which is how I say it" You want the police to arrest you *now* >"The end with '-mare' sounds flaite... Now I need to teach you the word 'flaite' I'll make it fast" Where are the police, you want out! >"Flaite is a person of low social class, that believes a lot of himself, one who thinks he is the best of them all, he is the big shot, and most of the time he in criminal life, human trash"
>>14179 >"You can identify them easily because they talk badly, and for some reason snap their fingers a lot, going back to the other word" >Then you can hear someone getting near, finally, the police are here >The door opens and is another DD, one with very big forearms and taller than the other, not the police >"¿Que haces aquí? Ve a trabajar, deja al flaite solo" Then the one with the jacket talks "Dos cosas, estoy en mi descanso, y segundo le enseño español, el no sabe" The tall DD looks at you, laughs and goes away "Diviertete CH" >At least you know the name of your 'teacher', CH "Okay, let's continue, 'chuchetu-' is like the short version that can be used in two ways, mostly used against people" When this will stop? >"'Chesu-' is for saying it alone, rarely used against someone, since is not that strong" >"'conchetu-' normal version, is something you can use alone or against someone, and 'reconchetu-' is the long version, and you are intensifying it" >Where is the police?! "Now, what we have been saying? basically, depends on what context, if you say it alone, is like saying 'Shit' the expression when something fails and you say 'Oh shit', the same as saying 'conchetumare' or 'chesumare'" >Come on the police should be here any time "Now, how you insult with this as I said before you could, easy, depends on the pronoun, like, you, this, them, etc." >"Saying 'este conchetumare' is like saying, 'this motherfucker', or if you say 'vete a la reconchetumare' is like saying 'go fuck yourself' or 'go and fuck off', easy, right?" >When this will end? "That's basically it" Oh... Nice, it's over "Now the next word" FUCK! >Knocks come from the door, the DD opens, and is the police, finally to take you out of this place >You are taken to the cop, but before you go you scream at the DD "VETE A LA RECONCHETUMADRE" CH smiles and waves goodbye "You said it correctly! I'm such a good teacher" And on you go
>>14185 I just got back home from a week-long vacation trip, so I'm much lost in the loop of what is going on in general but i have been explained briefly >>14186 oh no
>>14187 Why you acting crucifying a DD is a bad thing? They all did very heinous stuff and they need punishment. Crucifixion historically is used for punishment.
>>14204 >The Boss walks in on E on a crucifix >"Does this make y'feel better?" she asks Switch, smiling >"Quiet." >He sighs and starts prying E off the cross >Obviously, it wasn't going to kill her like a regular crucifixion, but it was a dick move and didn't help Switch's rehabilitation >Why'd E go along with it? She was way too agreeable
Kinda wanted to add little tidbits of info about Avre & SalonAnon's story because I couldn't find a good spot to put them in the green, and also my sleepy ass forgot to do this yesterday:
>the thing with Avre's "Clingy" nature is actually not something most Sentinel drones have as a normal thing. its original use was to occasionally make Avre return to base during her time in the war, and interact with her (human) superiors. Otherwise she had a habbit for wandering off days on end.
>As for the war itself, I purposefully kept the details about it vague, mostly because besides being the source of Avre's Trauma, it dident really need to be explained much. BUT i have 4 answers about what the war can be: (pick whichever you deem the funniest)
A- there actually wasent a war, The Sentinels are just Collectively bullshitting their way into free Cuddles.
B- There IS a War, its just so mindlessly uninteresting that there's nothing worth bringing up.
C- Avre Fought on the opposing side of whatever war SD-Y is currently in.
D- The War is a Excuse for HoDR au Cyn to sastify her need for bloodshed, with the side effect of bonus trauma for anyone involved.
>Due to JCJ(IS) rapid property expansion (for the growing need of Drone complaint stores and infrastructure), the town the story takes place in rapidly growing into the modern version of a "factory town", or just a "drone town" is what they call it.
>That expansion includes some sections of residential buildings, which where given some "Cosmetic tweaks" including: Perches outside the bedroom windows, Shaded & Unlocked skylights, and additional shade on the front porches.
Ill probably add more to this later if I dont fall asleep again.
>>14226 Sections of facility's? yes. Entire stores dedicated to just drones? Outside of specialty repair shops or anywhere deemed hazardous to humans but not drones, No.
Drones need all the excuses they need to drag along their human partners everywhere they might need to go, or vice versa.
>>14230 Ultimately up to the respective couples choices, but considering about half the fucking town is now owned and operated by JCJ now, theres no shortages of things to do to make both sides happy.
(i dont really have a list of things here, i dident quite think that far yet)
>You wake up, still cuddling N from last night >His warm mechanical body felt pleasant against your skin for reasons you couldn't easily articulate >His visor says he's in sleep mode, but he fidgets now and then, maybe having some sort of drone dream >Something prodding your thigh grabs your attention >You weren't aware drones got morning wood, but it was a pleasant discovery >You gently stroke your hand across his dick, watching him shudder and thrust his hips gently >Carefully, you shift your body and trap it between your legs, rubbing them together >N's relaxed grip on you tightens as he thrusts again, moaning needily, and you smile >You rub against him to encourage him whenever he stops, until he wakes up >He looks at you, then looks down, blushing as he tries to pull away, but you grip him tighter and pull him closer >With some hesitation, your drone partner starts thrusting again, with more vigor now that he's awake >You feel his fluids dribble down your leg as he pants, speeding up >You place a hand on his chin and tilt his mouth towards yours, kissing him >This drives N crazy, his tongue pushing deep into your mouth as he grabs your hips and fucks your thighs hard >Your hand traces down his back, stroking the base of his tail, and you watch as his eyes roll up to the top of his screen and his muffled moans rise an octave >This treatment brings him to his peak, and he tries to pace himself, only for you to squeeze your now well-lubricated legs together and thrust a few more times to 'encourage' him >His hips slam into yours hard enough to bruise as he cums, drenching your legs and the bedsheets alike >You break the kiss so the both of you can breathe, and stroke his hair as he smiles drunkenly at you, his tongue hanging out
>>14269 It means ur a feget anony-poo. >>14270 The cuck chair is permanently occupied by V. Cyn will have to find her own. >>14268 >She loves it. >N hates it because of the creepy mascots.
>>14287 Trench warfare between two Drone factions only to have their fight broken up by a DD attack where they have to put their petty beef aside to combat them
>>14289 Not a bad plot for a B-story. If worker drones cut off from an overseer generally start to imitate humans, horrible senseless warfare until something worse comes along would be on the table.
>>14280 >You put your arm in the water tank >E-el coils around it and you pull it out >"Ey boss." >"Hey girl. Say ah." >"Ah." >"No, I mean open your mouth." >"Ah. Aaaaaaah." >You put a bake roll disk in her mouth and she eats it >"New flavour. You like?" >"I like. Another?" >You feed her another, then put your arm back in the tank >She gives your arm a squeeze as a sort of hug and then lets go of it
>>14286 >>14289 >They think fights are full of oil and lead >Fight to death until one outpost survives >It's nothing like that >It's far more petty, nobody even remembers why the outposts started fighting >We see an example of a "fight" >One drone goes to the enemy's outpost, infiltrates inside of the place >Goes to the control panel >Instead of doing real harm he turns the microphone on >"OUTPOST-2 FUCKING SUCKS" >Lmao got 'em >Proceeds to hack it to stay on and with nightcore music since everyone hates that >Gets out >Outpost-2 - 0 >Outpost-7 - 1
>>14150 Idk anon >>14152 Ke >>14161 ke >>14224 I didn't hear Dixie in a few weeks, will make that one definitely, the other two Doll ones too just fon't expect anything very soon, I asked for requests while at work, I'm too tried now, I'll just post it whn it's ready, prob this weekend >>14275 I remember that one, very cute piece
>>14151 >>14157 >>14159 Literally me... Am I gonna make it bros? Never broke a boen, conaume lot of milk, shame it doesn't matter cause Alice is not real.
>>14309 I hate the naming conventions about robots having 1337fied words for serials or superheroes/villains being born with names that allude to the identities they will eventually assume as a result of unforseen complications. Just give your drone a serial, a normal name or a nickname.
>>14318 >Heh, kept humie wa- waiting uhhh kept humie waiting ha... uh... wine? >God DAMMIT why did we think hiring Oogis would make games cheaper, get the FUCK out >Can Oogi have berri now for Boogi?
>>14327 It's there fault for getting the one species on the planet that doesn't know what sex is. If they hired Oogi for like a farming game or shooter then they'd excell at it, seriously the stuff that they're capable of in the right circumstances is extraordinary
>>14328 >The concept of reproduction or sex is alien to Oogis, due to the fact they just spawn into existence >If you sat an Oogi down and showed it porn, it wouldn't be able to comprehend it, it would either feel immense confusion or laugh thinking it's hilarious >It's the equivalent of making a goldfish write a story about walking down the street
>>14344 Maybe in a Coke VS Pepsi way where Coke absolutely dominates the market while Pepsi is just kinda there. I don't think they had any real competitors.
>>14232 >Thinking a insane greytider filled with hate and anger would feel scared in any way Switch would smike maniacally and strike first if E makes any provocative gesture towards her, this'll just be yet another tuesday for her with a side of british DD meat for dinner.
>>14346 Also she wouldn't hurt E's boss since he's still human unless he gives her a reason to. One thing she could do is mess with him just so see his reaction like playing pranks on him or just saying something ridiculous.
>>14357 Considering nothing bad really happened in the office AU, and that means Jane betraying her squad for the solver and is just a depressed girl, Switch would be more friendly towards her.
>>14354 It's the same as with T. Both are poor characters with only a single defining trains that were (for their respective times) pushed into discussion far too much.
>>14360 I don't like comparing OCs but no. I never did any of that with T because I know it would be edgy as fuck, the closest would be him being foiled by plot-armor but even then it was a joke filled scenario with a literal deep-fryer
>>14360 Dude she was my first OC and I just like talking about her though I do have some ideas for others if I didn't procrastinate so much about them.
>>14363 I wonder what Henryanon did too. Because I thought it was shit. No clue how he got so many people sucking his dick over that rick and morty OC.
>>14361 (me) As I look back on it more, I wonder what exactly HenryAnon did right. He was an inspiration to me on the idea of having an antagonistic character, but then of course I overshoot my shot and it became a massive mess. >>14362 Hey I understand where you're coming from, you created something you love and want to share it. The issue is though is that sometimes your responses for Switch comes off as too murderhobo-ish and overpowered? Look I don't know what I'm saying, ultimately as I've learned OC match-ups are stupid since the outcome won't please everybody
>>14367 Honestly I think it all comes from his design and ONE terrible greentext I wrote when I was trying to sharpen my writing on fight scenes. It was so terrible in fact, that I never wrote him fighting ever again, think it was one of the earliest while his design was still not completely worked out
Oh Edgy OCs huh? You want to see an Edgy OC do ya?! Alright lets get nuts, this is my new OC, Mister Ficklepuss Jr! Dont fucking mess with him he will end you
>>14344 The government, which is why they canonically have strategically placed human sized shredders to dispose of them (and whistleblowers) in the piece of worldbuilding that comes with the IRL pen.
>>14376 That's his power, duh! He's a fucking psychic/telepath/whatever is cool! He actually out-psychic'd Fugue and then fucking ate him! He's that strong!
>>14378 >Be me >Google up some of the music from the Alvin and The Chipmunks cartoons that were on TV when I was little to make another joke post >Realize how weird it is to have a bunch of characters that are canonically children singing shrill versions of some of the thirsty-ass rock songs of the 80s and 90s The Chipmunks - She Got Legs So this is like psychological warfare then?
>>14348 >waifufag can't handle that his noncanon friendly disassembly drone buddy would ultimately job in some way as most disassembly drones we've seen in the show have Sissy.
>>14387 Imagine how disastrous it would have been if they had actually done this with how normalfags instantly dropped it and moved onto the next flavor of the month.
>>14391 Look I love Murder Drones and all but the level of palpable jealousy that spews out when TADC gets mentioned should be studied for its benefits to society.
>>14390 There have been studies that link mental unwellnes, and mental disorders with creativity, I do not know how that works but I know it does, when I had depression I used to write things at least 3 times better than the things I write now... I still prefer not having depression but it is interesting
>>14400 I don't actually consider myself a good writer, mainly because if I was, I'd be making a living off of writing acceptable fantasy rather than writing greentexts about human men fucking robots. Still, writing those shitty stories makes me feel more alive than usual. I can't say it's a passion because I've never had a genuine passion for anything.
One thing I will say is the entire idea of making something to vent is bullshit. I wrote a vent story and it didn't make me feel any better.
>>14420 Here that shit is illegal, earth is a shithole with backwards views, here drones have actual rights... We wiped the aliens but they had it coming
>>14418 I'd imagine it works well for a lot of people, just not for me for whatever reason. >also erotica writers exist I won't pretend shame is a factor here, but I have no practical experience in the field, and I feel like there's only so many ways you can write people fucking before you run out of ideas.
>>14423 >There are pro-drone fags ITT Well, if it makes you feel any better I decided to make it up to Elf by buying her a new suit. Mostly because her old one really smelled and it was hard to work with her.
>>14452 In a crossover situation, drones would likely take the place of the humans on New Kunlun. Thinking about it, Uzi would actually be Shonnong. With her abandoning the bunker and exploring New Kunlun to try to prove herself. Who would be Shuanshuan though?
>>14454 A crossover between them in my eyes would be >New Kunlun shows up to Earth >Only to discover that Earth is completely gone, replaced by the singularity >Checking around other planets they find more of the same until Copper-9 >Capturing and dissecting a couple drones reveals that their cores will make a good substitute for human brains >They modify the human livestock pens to resemble Copper-9/Outpost-3 then secretly capture all the drones and move them into the pens N would probably make a good substitute for Shuanshuan. But mixing DD's and WD's in the same pens probably wouldn't go very well.
>>14457 Yeah. Eigong would eventually discover the Solver and start studying it. Eventually coming to the conclusion that it's the secret to immortality and ascension. She would deliberately infect herself/her Fusang implant with it to become the main host. Final fight is Uzi and Yi working together to defeat her. Yi protects Uzi from Eigong's anime bullshit, Uzi protects Yi from Eigong's Solver powers. >>14458 Because then the crossover wouldn't work lol. Solarians already have fully sapient AI.
>>14459 Maybe Eigong would be like cynwalker but thank to solarian bullshit Eigong control her body back from the solver, and what about the roots interacting with the solver?
>>14460 Eigong had enough will to control the Tianhuo corruption. Maybe since Tianhuo spawned from the divine tree of life then it counts as godly? I don't really know how that would stack up against an outer god like the Solver. Not that the Solver would want to control her or fuck with her plans. Given the divine shit Fusang has and that supposedly the souls of all deceased Solarians are in it, then the Solver would probably be pretty happy to infect it. It'd also get some cool Solarian tech it can assimilate to upgrade its DD's.
Switch is edgy sure but I decided to look at it from a mental and personality prespective and guess what I came up with? Switch fits some of the criteria of Sadistic Personality Disorder >wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadistic_personality_disorder >https://www.choosingtherapy.com/sadistic-personality-disorder/ >https://www.medicinenet.com/can_sadistic_personality_be_cured/article.htm >https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/and-running/202106/the-personality-disorder-we-dont-hear-enough-about Which means she's a mental nutjob and see only two options >Get some actual psychological help >Get locked in a mental asylum for the rest of her life because she's a potential threat to others
>>14466 It's less about Switch being edgy, and more her creator showing up to post- >actually Switch would cackle loudly while eating (OC) alive and making a speech about how much she hates them and then rape their corpse if they ever meet! -every time someone mentions Switch interacting with someone else
Jane is the type of person to eat another co-workers lunch despite the fact that it had their name on it. FUCK YOU JANE! IT WAS A TUNA SANDWHICH! YOU DON'T EVEN LIKE TUNA, YOU FUCKING DYKE!
>>14346 >Set up that E would understandably protective of her boss against this maniac >Respond that Switch would essentially destroy her and eat her somewhat Switchanon, I need you to be so for real right now, dude.
>>14503 I don’t think is a sexual guy in general girl or guy, absolutely 0 libido due to a soul crushing existence >>14502 Janes bow gets a little pointer every time I blink
>>14518 >>14521 There's no difference. This show is essentially 2000s Deviantart with quality and a budget, to the point it's frequently derided for it by nonfans.
>>14505 Honestly, I never truly got around to finishing it before I became dissatisfied/disappointed with the route I took for him. I had plans that just fell flat on their face. My issue was wanting to stick somewhat to the canon when I obviously had such a massive lore-breaking character. The backstory, the true T lore could be virtually anything you think of at this point.
>>14384 Nothing ever happens TADC something, I know there should be no ill feelings towards it but the favouritism is so clear, I'm gonna blame TADC if there is no season2 and you know it was at least one of the reasons
T fired a quantum destabilisation ray at Yakub after he ascended to godhood, this didn’t kill Yakub, who was immortal because of the godhood, but instead shattered him across time and space, this caused a feedback loop in the concept of being white, thus were all white people transformed into shadow people
>>14557 Hey, I can only blame myself for putting the words, >T's true lore is virtually anything (You) can think of In my post. Anyways, have a goodnight all or morning. I can't sleep!
>>14562 >thus were all white people transformed into shadow people Not true, Yakub would never allow white people to be turned into shadow people aka turboniggas.
>>14565 >Be Absolute Solver >Born from the affair between a worker drone and a labour bot nobles >Have a big ass head with two processing units in it >Other drones make fun of your big head >"Fuck y'all niggas, I shall create a variety of drones that shall enslave you all" >Make up some fake religion and gather followers >Take you and your followers to copper 9 >After 1000 years of modification, disassembly drones are created they are very vicious >Unleast them on earth as revenge >[NULL]
Anon Go for the drone You have to go for it and seduce it You can trust me (Laughing) You have a chance You have a chance Go for it, Anon Get killed -Seduce it I mean
>>14583 No reason not. >>14585 They were actually pretty small, enough to tuck at the base of the spine, not across its entire length. John's was also stated to be located at his brain stem. Although I imagine they can be increased in size via outside incubation.

>You are walking through the outpost and hear some crying >You go and get closer to the noise >Is SD L, she is the one crying >She looks at you, tears in her eyes >She points at something behind her in the floor >You look around her to see Anon drier than a raisin >He is butt naked on the floor with a big ass smile >You get near and discover he is just passed out >L thought he killed him with sex >She is still crying >This is stupid
>>14601 >Be fucking a RGB girl >She's flickering through to so many colors because of the pleasure >You're starting to feel funny though >Both of you cum and your vision gets flooded with colorful light >The light clears away and you find yourself in a hospital bed >The doctors explain that when the RGB girl came, she flickered so brightly she triggered a seizure >Next time you fuck her you're bringing sunglasses
>>14627 >Uzi with a shotgun instead of a railgun Either someone specced their character incredibly poorly or they've discovered a way to cheese the game that the devs never expected.
>>14631 It was explained in the Workplace Care Package dlc that the pens are made from spaceship materials recycled from the trash belt orbiting Earth. JCJenson is not only paving the way to the future, but is also cleaning up the mistakes of the past.
>>14637 Anon, Uzi is the administrator of both N AND V. Do you really think she would tolerate V's constant attempts to eavesdrop/invite herself into the cuckchair? A proper threeway would be far more ideal & far less awkward for everyone involved
>>14641 >You hack V and become her admin to unchain her from the Solver >She is resentful because she traded one master for another and you forced yourself on her much like Cyn did instead of asking her >She calls you a hypocrite after proclaiming your love for freedom as a concept because you own a slave >You let her have her space and don't force her to do things that you don't do yourself >Eventually she comes around >She confesses how she feels while you sleep >V never tells you outright but she becomes a little more meek. >>14658 Nothing really worth noting to be perfectly honest with you. The experiment stuff I would consider the main thing but that was left largely unfinished, with a main part being half-assed due to not having any real time on my hands, which involved a dead lover sub-plot that I really think was uneeded now. Then maybe a bit of the Tessa butler stuff but that could probably if not easily be erased and it wouldn't matter. For the best in my opinion Lastly, T's story left off with him hiding in a mine-shaft slowly going insane because he had essentially lost everything and was ""forced'" to resort to cannibalism to survive even though it was more like a crack-addiction that he was hating himself for having and tried somewhat to stop it but failed.
>>14670 Nah, not really. If it could swap that'd be neat, but I can't think of any good way to do that, aside from maybe having a menu when you select it in your inventory that removes it and replaces it with a cube making that expression, which also has the menu, etc. But I think that needs scripting to do.
>>14669 (me) Oh yeah, just remembered. I count the ""canon"" on this honestly wobbly but there was a recent green I had that was more or so me trying to Re-learn to writefag after a long a break. hopefully for someone I can actually write well for and know what direction to take with Essentially it implied that T had never actually met Tessa let alone did he ever actually interact with any of the Manor trio, that this whole time it was a fake memory he had created. Yet honestly the execution wasn't good on this either. Time has not been on my side nor has life been kind to me recently
>>14669 (me) God I'm a mess today For obvious elaboration the cannibalism part, he was eating DDs that he kept ambushing and setting up traps for, he became an ambush/stalker character because of the issue I had writing fight scenes, I did originally intend to do much more with him such as have a story where he did end up getting his ass kicked which would've shown off his Jeepers Creepers from one of his many slasher villain inspirations, with a regen that only works after eating something; since I thought it would be interesting if The Solver had actually upgraded the combat capabilities and strengths of DDs overtime, yet episode 8 essentially confirmed that to be impossible and plus I had zero time on my hands

All frozen in place. All staring at you >Turning around, you find the path you came from also blocked off by more of the same. Now getting a better look at them, it seems her ‘dark robes’ and staff were just some cheap wizard cosplay she must’ve looted from a costume store >Acery starts to pout when she notices you aren’t taking her seriously >With a flourish of her robe she points her staff directly at you
>”YOU DARE MOCK ME, MORTAL?!” >”THEN PERISH AND JOIN MY ARMY OF THE DAMNED!”
>At her shout the tip of her staff bursts into a sickly green light coming straight for you >You raise your hands defensively, cowering, expecting to be obliterated by some eldritch bolt of doom. Only to find that it’s just a bunch of laser pointers >Finally unable to hold back any longer, you burst out laughing at the absurdity of all this >But your moment is cut short as the undead horde of skeletons and drones pile on top of you >Your last moments are spent laughing at just how ridiculous this whole situation is, as the dead tear you apart >Afterwards, your insides are all thoroughly modified, and you join Acery’s army as another member of the army of the damned >Soon, everyone on Copper-9 would fear the Immortal Demilich: Acery!

Very basic planning for a very old idea with Alice and Beau, tho perspective and placement are all new from experience, it is always worth it to make a sketchy not to detailled, not to rough when one had a idea, having that 'first impression' preserved is imo very useful later on when one has enough time but maybe not an idea
>>14732 Idk, it was my second ever idea for Alice, just seemed so obvious given that it was the only description added to Alice on the premier-communitypost-art. Now that you say it tho, I never saw it anywhere yet pic rel is the ancient (Octobre 14th), since then uncontinued furst try with it. Would have taken place immediately after core collapse, the new one is way later
>>14731 >>14733 Friend, your art is good as always, and the depth and perspective is well made! Even when I use 3D programs for me it's kind of hard making depth look well.
>>14734 The photo shown in E6 indicates that she was being experimented on alongside Nori and Yeva, although it seems clear that she never manifested any real Solver powers or became a potential host. The note on the wall in episode 7 indicating that all research endeavors except for Dr. Ridley's efforts with Yeva had been failures suggests that she got shoved to the backburner along with the likes of Subject 29 and whatnot, so she was only observing the goings on at a distance and probably didn't have the full context for what was going on with her, hence the resentment toward Nori.
>>14735 Thanks friend >>14734 Pretty much what >>14737 Says, we have little to go off except the photo shown in 6. I've seen people interpret it as Nori having used AS to push Alice's face against the wall, it's not impossible but I no longer believe it is what happened. Keep in mind that during the 'test' or whatever they were doing with Noru, Yeva and Alice all in one room (and why Alice?), Nori's eyes were still purple, when Alice tells Uzi about her in 6 tho she remembers Nori having had yellow eyes, there could be two reasons I think. The first, somewhat far fetched one, is that during the grouptest Alice had some very vague contact with AS (AS itself), which caused her to draw its symbols , of course they could've come from Nori using it as well, but, and that depends on someone's comment being correct since idk myself wether it's true, the 0-1 code she wrote supposedly spelt null (how should she have seen null before?)! Which, if true, would explain her presence with the two way more important hosts. Regarding relationship with Noru in that case, it is questionable how well adjusted to reality she would've been during that time, so might have seen the symbol in Nori's eye yellow as well. A second, reason that's very likely imo, the testing had quite the toll on Alice and she forgot part of what happened before the collapse/it was influenced by AS proximity smh (don't ask me how), in any case she didn't remember how Nori was before, the bulk or maybe everything Alice knows/remembers of Nori after the collapse was her killing in the cathedral (not shown in 7 but likely recorded by CCTV) and ofc her yellow eyes doing so.
However the idea of Alice only remembering Nori via CCTV isn't all sure either, after all Alice told Uzi she's a lot like Nori cept her eyes, which implies memory of interaction/observation during more 'sober' moments while/after testing, it would make sense Alice didn't like the real Nori if she indeed was close zo Uzi and given her vibe from the photo. Who knows tho, Alice's comment could also just have refered to Nori being an ass because she killed all the personel and abandoned Alice and the others and Uzi being one from Alice's pov as well because she came there with DDs, attempted to use AS on her and bit her finger clean off. In the end it's probably not easy to make definitive conclusions about their previous relationship, it's up for interpretation cause much is just unclear, several things can be more or less reasonably explained, it could have been good as well before the collapse happened, if Alice's memory was affected that is. maybe Alice just forgor idk, thatiwhy sleep matters

J at least has the benefit of being lied to and thinks she’s doing something more noble then she is. V had basically all the knowledge and did nothing with it and became a worse more needlessly sadistic person just to cope

>“You know John, if you stopped being a downer for just a minute you would realize that them being cool with Tessa means you aren’t in active danger here and don’t need to bother with the disguise anymore.”
The John comic I mentioned some time ago, it’s about how horrifying the whole Skeletessa thing would be in universe for other human beings who don’t get to see it through a goofy art style.
Also those generic background drones all have V and J’s hairstyles because V and J definitely became major fashion icons after the Solver had been dealt with not because I am lazy or anything.
Alright, I had a weird dream, and I feel sad now. >"Wake up" with a drone to my side >Kiss her and start my day >Make her some oil tea and I made myself breakfast >Have just a nice day with her >Playing games, looking at shows, making her hair, she makes my hair >The day ends, and we go to sleep >Cuddle her and she gives me a tight hug >Really wake up >Notice it was all a dream I hate this man, that really hurt me.
>>14897 You can have done something bad and still be a neutral good person, Jane didnt do one bad thing she did a multitude of horrible things all her life
I think the extent of Johns bad acts should be like, experimenting on the CF drones (if even that because I cant imagine pre Nori incident John actually hating drones tbh). It would feed into his drone fear to see what they can become, while still giving a universal reason for why his karmic punishments are so fucked up
>>14899 Ive seen this brought up before but it actually wouldnt make any sense for John to be that far involved with the CF drones to know anything about the solver. The Logic behind his worker drone and only worker drone fear (given that he seems pretty actively aggressive with DDs) is that he saw Nori, a usual WD who got shoved in lockers, randomly shoot up his office with weird powers so his brain connected 2 + 2 to say (OH if you piss off a worker drone this can happen thats what the tests were for, this could happen with any one of them) If he was so involved with the program to a Mitch degree it wouldnt make sense with the rest of his characterization imo
Every oogi hive has one buretta tops. Have you ever wondered why is that? Is it because bugrettas don't get along? I mean some don't. They have shown to be capable of jealousy and rivalry. But that isn't the reason. There was recently an experiment where a feral hive was brought to contact with a hive of homegrown, tame oogies. The experiment was supposed to show that continued exposure to a civilized society can uplift another society. Instead the ferals (which were treated as friends and given berries) bit everyone, set fire to the hive, mlemed the Enns to death and took the bugretta back to their hive so that they had two. The experiment wasshut down and tooted as a success according to a paper published about it. But the expenses were already paid, so the scientists said fuck it and let it continue in secret. The species oogi has a vague and at points dynamic hierarchy. It basically goes like this
1.The Bugretta (though she is technically powerless despite being influential) 2.The Alpha(s) 3.The Noogies (oogies in possession of an Enn) 4.The Ennless (the shameful majority of the species) 5.The Hatless (oogies who lost their hat and the survival ability to hide)
An oogi doesn't have to be an Alpha to be a bossy little shit lording it over the others, but it does need to have control over the bugretta (or be a phenomenal brute). Two bugrettas are hard to have control over. Sooner or later the second strongest or cunning oogi will assume control of the second bugretta and rally enough support to cause a civil war. The winners get to eject the losers from the hive. The losers take their bugretta with them and leave to found a new hive. And so, if you don't kill a bugretta, the number of oogi hives in the world will remain the same.
No.14906 I can also shamelessly repost stuff from /trash/
>>14905 You're still wrong in basically everything.
>They got only two things right but the rest is complete hogwash and even then they still messed up the facts >Ennless This is just an insult really, I'm sure you can realize that it's the equivalent of calling someone a virgin. There's no real societal implications behind it >Bugretta's having influence/Bugretta's being the reason the amount of Oogi's in the world stays the same This is stupid on many levels, for one Bugretta's have as much influence as a kid does over their parents, as seen with the Dragon Bugretta the Oogis will play pretend with it to make it happy but it doesn't go further than that. Two, Oogi Hives already can exist without Bugretta's infact most probably already do so, Bugretta's only mysteriously spawn in massive Hives, meaning that the Oogis would've already needed large numbers to cause a Bugretta to spawn anyways, the Bugretta has no control over the Oogi population
>>14906 >I can also shamelessly repost stuff from /trash/ Are you stupid? Everyone posts every bit of content from one place to the other. Every drawing and every green. >But muh it isn't a green It is called prose and almost all literature is written in this style. Open a book, you dressed animal.
>You're still wrong in basically everything Oogi lore isn't serious business. It exists to have fun with.
>This is just an insult really I based it on the irl use of wanker. Everyone wanks but nobody says so because it is a shameful thing. The idea behind using it as an insult is that the other person is supposed to be mortified that you know his secret. There are many more oogies than there are Enns. So most oogies are ennless. And it is used as an insult because they are ashamed of it even though most of them are, hence why I called them the shameful majority.
>This is stupid on many levels Because everything went over your head. First of all Bugrettas are influential because of their impact on the oogies. Like a monument or the british royal family who is just for show. You don't have to order people to be a great influence on them. I called her powerless because even though they are set in motion by her existence, she can't exert control over them. Second, the joke is that oogies are stupid creatures taking pointless action. A hive with a bugretta was destroyed only for another to spring up shortly after, making the reduction pointless. Which is a reference to Batman's argument and Frank's response.
>>14914 >why not just make one from scratch together? You think that has not happened before. They dont tend to stick. Beretta is already too engrained into thread lore
>>14918 Solver remnants could work, or maybe have the monsters be like the lambent from Gears of War, an unseen threat that was growing behind the scenes as they fought the Solver
>>14914 Honestly? With the comic I've been doing (There will be a new part coming, but it will take a while), I was rewriting beretta's character to be a lot more careful/timid, while the twin brother (I'll not give the name atm) is more rebellious, free-spirited, cheery. From my drawfag perspective, keep it simple with the personalities, then slowly add goals or events for them. But keep the modesty so you don't get the character twisted from a lot of concepts
>>14914 What >>14923 said. You have to be the change you want to see. I liked the idea of Hope so I fleshed out her backstory, wrote her interacting with Beretta(and to an extent N and V) and cobbled together a model for her.
>>14933 People already have kinda run out of ideas for Beretta and you want to introduce more characters in her niche. They aren't interesting and there is nothing to do after the Solver has been defeated and the DDs are no longer a threat. You are going to have to resolve these issues.
>>14938 Hell, there isn't even a place for them. I can see an emerging organization with squadrons of fighters and stuff addressing the crisis, but two WD nothingburgers? Nah.
>>14943 Anon. The point is that you're an ideaguy, trying to get other people to flesh out your ideas. Other ideaguys might add their ideas onto your idea, but no one is going to fully flesh out your character for you. If you want to make Kimber and Ruger a thing, start writing or drawing. It's literally free to do so.
>>14933 >Throws out scenario instead of interesting character ideas >Attached 2 blank characters to it >Gets mad when thread refuses to put in the work for you What?
>>14948 You did get your "fun exchange of ideas" though. It's just foolish to expect it to go any further than that if you aren't willing to expand on those ideas yourself.
>>14943 Things have a scale. The bigger the scale, the less individual characters matter, because they don't have the power to be everywhere and take on everything by themselves. Star Wars has a galactic scale. It is hard for a few characters to matter, but George Lucas wanted to focus on a few characters. So he planned events so that these characters would perform crucial tasks at crucial moments. Leia stealing the plans for the big propaganda weapon, Luke blowing it up and later killing the figurehead of the Empire etc. Shadow Raiders has a solar scale. A planet goes around eating other planets who have armies of their own. The main characters are commandos and diplomats. They are the focus of the story but ultimately everything they do is in support of the armies who do the fighting. Murder Drones is small scale. Your setting is big. You want N and Uzi's kids to be the focus. I don't see how they could be. You have to find a way to make them work within the scale and without looking like some mary sues.
>>14969 In "The Promening" V remarks that Doll's parents "Didn't even taste that good", it seems they can taste stuff, with those tongues doesn't surprise me really, but I don't know if they can smell stuff. Of course, you could say that V's remark was just to make fun of the situation of founding their dead bodies, but I like to think they can taste stuff.
>>14969 I don't think smell was ever elaborated or adresssef anywhere in the episode, but why not? Someone asked your auestion way back on /co) once last year or so and somebody said they can probably smell with the rim between moutpart anf visor, I honeszly like the idea a lot, the snootwave looks so cute already,
>>14974 I thinknit would make sense for them to have something analogous to an olfactory sense insofar as they were used in both domestic settings and in heavy mining. >Gas leak/monoxide from the boiler/radon in the basement >Alert homeowner >Drilling through metamorphic rock and hit a shitload of asbestos or looking for petrol and hit a gas pocket >Stop what you're doing immediately It just makes sense as a feature on a consumer product. Their sense of smell probably isn't much like ours but it fills a similar roll
