Hello Friends! You know why I'm doing this, to talk about Drones, so let's talk about Drones. The delightful Booru: https://dronebooru.co The wheel of the various OCs: https://wheelofnames.com/8hc-stc The last Thread: >>113210
>>114316 I kind of wish we go at least a little insight into what the real Cyn was like before getting bodysnatched. She clearly seems scared shitless when we see her boot up for the first time at the beginning of Episode 5. She was also a victim, in the end.
>>114319 >Dr. Ones' to-do list >He grips it tightly in one hand while pulling down his zipper with the other >Liam Vickers weeps as the old man hobbles into the pilot episode, ready to get it super age restricted
>>113659 Hello, if you are still amogus, anything you want specicic focus on when I'm gonna continue work on that? Colouring or lines, should I use the blackstreaks? Tho they sometimes melt with the screen if I mess up a separationline, which would technically be accurate but look weird, should i?
Anyone else go visit their wagie drone girlfriend during her work hours at JCJacys, go into the dressing room and clang the living daylights out of her, kiss her and then leave her dazed, aroused, and a bit irritated to finish her shift?
>>114306 Why do you think V was so completely apathetic when with Alice? She was frightened like the others in the hallway, but had zero reaction to incoming decapitation, why is that? Or was her presence just forgotten with exception of two reaction shots?
>>114342 YE Just look how sleek and fit she is!🧡🤍🖤 Alice tummy and the mechanisms in there, hmmm very cute One needs to keep in mind however how oily she'd make you and everything around since Alice's gown is covered in oil, just hope sge won't get embarassed by it. God actually being close with Alice, maybe an arm around her or flat out touch her smooth black front, that's nice
>>114340 I don't know to be honest, a few theories pop in my head, I should rewatch everything, but as of now. I think that she tried to keep her head cooled, since panicking wouldn't do much, or she probably expected something go wrong and for them to be liberated somehow, since Tessa/Cyn was there too, or she expected Alice to commit a mistake and capitalize on it.
>>114350 >She insists you get in with her, pretending to be "scared" of the water >Hence, you're roped into taking a bubble bath with Alice >She seems a bit more handsy than usual too...
>>114349 Makes sense, back then I believed it was due to her being done with everything (due to the interpretation of 6's ebd as her suicide attempt), but keeping a lowprofile since she is a DD at Alice's mercy fits too. Who knows, maybe Alice and V did interact already before Uzi woke up, V was wide awake and didn't seem scared or nervous/confused(what you'd expect), wonder how that could have gone, after all Alice did for some reason leave V unharmed. V's silence can be rationalized, but I'm still not over how Uzi's arrogance and impusliveness fucked everything up. Had N been in the same room everything would have been better, he wouldn't have been silent, I feel as if his attitude would have worked well enough, he's still avDD but with Uzi (whobAlice wasn't hostile to initially) around it could have worked out. If you look at it they should have been allies anyways, episode 1 Uzi would have been a fan of Alice's work (I don't get how she straight up ignored the idk how many DD cores collected by one WD), total shame they did not even give Alice a chance or try negotiate (asking questions and beging for mercy AFTER having bitten her finger off with zero possible gain is a retarded strategy)
>>114364 she has a point. the reddit is much better moderated so troublemakers get kicked out instead of given a platform. really the only thing MD imageboard threads have going for them is the porn.
>>114377 >>114378 Doomfags are forgetting exam season in the US, fenamon mentioned something extremely difficult currently/in the next weeks, that's likely explanation for her silence, Vicious did post a week ago that she'll be gone fir a few days too. Many more such cases. By Christmas they will all be back
>>114324 I believe what we see from her little interaction with N in flashbacks is the "real" her, even if the Cyn personality is gone we've seen that the Solver consistently does a good enough impression of it's assimilated victims to fool most other Drones most all of the time. She's shy, likes the frilly formal events the Elliots hold, likes N, dislikes J.
how do you think J's doing out in the frozen wastes? all alone in her wreck of a ship. nowhere to go even if she fixes it. only her thoughts for company. I bet she's doing a lot of thinking.
>>114278 >>114191 Does the femanon (Izz, not fiend) have twitter? Have they posted anything recently? Not trying to be stalkery, just wondering if they’re alive.
>>114395 From what we know, and I'm repeating stuff I have read from other anons, she had important things to do and will basically make it hard for her to be on the threads, she will probably be back in a few weeks at most.
>>114418 I'm guessing it's so anyone at the facility who doesn't directly work with them has a way to identify them among regular worker drones (I assume they had a few to help run the facility)
>>114417 >U-U showing anon the family guy holos they torrented from the internet >both drones are infected with malware and are bedridden, so anon has to take care of them U- and -U get to experience the insertion of a rectal thermometer twice
>Someone with a normal job and a little community support is making a fully functioning Cyn >Artificial gestation is actually being researched and is no longer fully science-fiction We'll have our robowives soon.
>Season 2 >Alice returns with the Absolute Solver >Plots to kill Uzi to free herself from the Solver and as revenge for Beau's death >Forms her own army by becoming admin of the oven cores and Uzi's dead classmates >Emily and Unnamed Maid Drone are her most loyal DDs
>>114428 They already have my name, address, bank details, IP, medical information, height, weight, and everything else under the sun. What would knowing my wiener size change?
>>114429 During a war scenario, giving enemies complex names would make communication difficult. Professionally they'd still be called "Murder Drones" or something similar, but on the field they could be simply called "the bots"
>>114463 TECHNICALLY, this isn't NSFW. Since it's a lore accurate drone body. Anyway... ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO ELF SEXO
>>114463 THE VICIOUS IS REAL now who else is considered dead or haven't posted in some time, which translates to forever to a bunch of you cooped up fucks
>>114484 You just reminded me of there being a green where a femanon, not related to izz or vicious, just genderbent anon, sat on her drone bf's face and accidentally his screen but he just gave her a thumbs up.
I have received reliable information that HoDR affiliated number drones have been paying contentfags to make human x drone greens and art. I intend to release this information and reveal this deception.
>Write greens about OCs I don't know shit about the characters >Read the wiki There's no wiki pages for popular characters like Sophie >Fill in the wiki I DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE CHARACTERS
>>114433 >Solver Alice encounters Lizzy and Thad >Recounts to them the story of how she fell in love with a drone at CFL >They had triplets together before she went crazy >The CFL explosion separated them, sending him and two of the pillbabies to the surface >That drone is the Teacher and the pillbabies are Thad and Lizzy >Alice is their mother
>>114422 >Anon doesn't understand why they tried to run cracked Photoshop on their systems >They can't even USE cracked Photoshop >Or maybe they just wanted him to take care of them >And stick stuff into their rears
>>114538 >Sophie Sophie's character is that she's a whore, Toby is a miserable alcoholic, Abbas has some demons figuratively and literally, and Jamie is frustrated that everyone keeps making new messes
>>114578 >J has a tiny J bobblehead and a mug that says "Best Corporate Enforcer in the Universe" >They keep her company in the landing pod >They're her only company at this point, honestly
>J, despite all the times she's died and/or been killed, has wanted nothing more than the opportunity to actually STAY dead >J thought that successfully carrying out Cyn's plans would be her ticket to 'freedom', but unfortunately that fell through with Cyn's "defeat" >J briefly considered trying her luck with self-termination, only to realize that her 'soul' would simply end up back in the NEW host's (Uzi's) proverbial hands rather than the oblivion she desperately craves >Thus J hatched her current (and ideally final) plan: Rebuild a working Pod to escape Copper-9, flee as deep into space as possible and hope that she can get far enough away from The Solver's influence for her 'soul' to be lost forevermore
>>114597 No, no, you are dead, all contentfags are, sadly, every single one of them died at the content factory 9 of December 2024, at 3:00 PM EST time
>>114604 No, the cams show a shambling green guy in a suit scooping the burger into his mouth in one go like a large bipedal swine Or at least that's what Cyn told me, she already checked for me
>>114599 It's entirely fringe headcanon but I like to imagine that J's inability to protect Tessa at the gala (combined with the eventual realization that Tessa is 100% dead and gone despite whatever false promises Cyn/Solver might have fed her) has absolutely ruined her will to live. Essentially, Cyn will only allow J to "retire" when their job of consuming the universe is done
Hey guys, I ordered an Elf from the Elf Storage unit all for my elfish purposes but I've been told it accidentally got shipped to a guy named Henry, what do I do? Do you think he'll forward her on to me?
>>114626 She belongs to Henry now. Next time go to the Elf store yourself to get one instead of relying on shipping. Don't let them tell you that they're sold out either, you can often find invisible Elfs hidden in the corners of the store where the employees don't check.
>>114594 >it doesn't work >she wakes up in Uzi's mind palace >"Bloody Nora, J, is that you?!" >Tessa-the real Tessa-tackleglomps J >but J is so blackpilled and hopeless that she thinks this is the Solver fucking with her again >she even suspects Uzi getting involved and proving it's Tessa is the Solver fucking with her again
>>114630 >Go to the Elf Checkout with your invisible Elf drone >Leave >As you leave it turns out you actually grabbed a fucking Gnome (commonly confused with Elf but of a vastly inferior quality) >Try to return it but there is a "no returns policy"
>>114635 This is why you bring a UV light with you. For whatever reason the inferior cloaking device of the gnomes will fail under UV light, while it does nothing to the Elfs. But you didn't hear this from me.
>>114637 The store has a "no UV lamps, EMPs, or other chicanery" police too, I guess that's how they scam people Definitely going to be calling the Better Business Bureau about this >>114638 I was saving my kiss chastity for an Elf, not a Gnome, I don't want a Gnome >>114642 You suck, I hope you get Goblined or Gnomed and see how (you) like it
>>114645 >Remember: you are what gives wagie drones hope! >That a strong, financially independent Anon will come buy out their contract and whisk them away from this awful place! >Do it! Do it now, and have many children! - Dronezo Abe
Are P, G, and MG technically in a squad if they basically hang around each other at the shop all day? It's not like they have many (or any) other friends, after all, plus they're all moneyhungry
Starting work on the pilot design Kinda wanted to incorporate a gasmask into the design to allign with the fact all the humans/jcj Employees we see in the show wears some sort of mask, so ofc a pilot would probably wear something simmaler.
Though i might make it something a bit more advanced next draft, still unsure if i should go more towards an actual pilot suit or something more towards titanfall in terms of look
>>114283 update: so there are some new factors to consider. >Pros: -she doesn't charge me for rides anymore -she's fun to be around and talk to -she's got good taste in music -I almost always get where I'm going lightning fast >Cons: -she drives like a maniac -she's frequently drunk -the cars are definitely stolen (and full of empties) -she occasionally stops at a seemingly random building, walks in, and comes out 15 or so minutes later tired and covered in oil apologizing for the wait.
about that last one she won't tell me what she's doing but I gave her benefit of the doubt cuz I thought maybe she was a mechanic. I don't think there were any cars inside the office building she stopped at last time, though. so uh. what do?
>>114654 Carry a pair of handcuffs with you everywhere and keep a low profile Worst case scenario, if she gets pulled over, you slap those suckers on and plead you're an innocent victim Best case scenario, the handcuffs get used in a very different context
>>114639 Harper and every others SD, John, Jane and really many characters , I just now realized that at least half of the characters and OC's would like to destroy all the disassembly drones.
>>114648 Considering how they're still bloodsuckers and keep murdering people out of habit? Not very. Lot of people are thinking it, but aren't willing to tell the vampires "You have basically no self-control and I'm still scared shitless of you".
>>114653 >Another solver shit happens, and indescribable horror looms over the remnants of humanity >Pilot: "God, why do you hate us?" >Mech-drone: "Henry will be inside me again soon:3"
I so love this contrast between the mech-drone, who seems so happy, and the pilot, who has not a face but literally a picture of a thousand yard stare.
>>114660 >Lot of people are thinking it, but aren't willing to tell the vampires "You have basically no self-control and I'm still scared shitless of you". Wouldn't this only be the case with drones or humans that aren't from Outpost-3? Everyone else wouldn't even bat an eye if Switch, T, the Sentinels and Grunt drones or anyone who has the guts, killed a disassembler or two?
>>114666 That's what I was getting at. Everyone's walking on eggshells around the vamps and are secretly relieved when someone is brave enough to stuff one back into their admin's mind palace.
>post-timeskip, Uzi has grown jaded about the robo-vampires she's in charge of between the finale and Now >her feelings about them, with a few exceptions, has soured into "I'm not gonna respawn you because you won't learn anything if I do" Family Guy - Peter making a Water Slide
>>114683 Nice try, but I don't work at a 7/11 - I use VPNs that route through the phones of random people So that's probably some hapless poorfag you're about to shoot, jsyk
>>114684 You mean that free VPN? If your days weren't numbered, I'd recommend you change it: it collects your contact info, so we have literally your entire internet history.
Including your browser history. That's disgusting.
>>114686 Hey, look, I don't need to explain my search history to you Also, you may have my contact info, but guess what? It's all outdated! Completely useless to find me. And not only that, but by opening my search history on your phone, you have now implicated yourself - how's your supervisor going to react when he sees things like "DD warranty voided in shower" or "bitchy office drone correction" in your search history?
>>114655(me) Kangaroo meat tasted kinda bad. It needed some lemon sauce. Ostrich meat tasted like a mix of pork and large hunting fish with a strong hint of paté. It looks like a bird but it doesn't taste like one. Aussie animals are funny inside and out.
>>114666 >>114671 >Hate crimes against DDs are socially acceptable and even government employees would turn a blind eye to any DDs keep disappearing or getting killed Man, this would be heaven for any disassembler haters.
>>114696 >the kind of prejudice we need to be working against as a society May I remind you who destroyed Earth? Who sacked Proxmia? Who almost destroyed the Epsilon-Eridani and Alpha-Centauri systems?
Disassemblers are built to be pests with no remorse.
>>114708 Check again, fella I think you'll find that my wife's sharp teeth can be used for more than chomping tards - they're also pretty good at TUNNELING See you never, Farteration!
>>114708 Considering we had some crossovers with some media, which human corporation would support the Federation in it's quest to TDD? Weyland-Yuttani? Nanotrasen? Tri-Tachyon?
>>114695 > anon making any excuse he can when he finds his friends and family dead after his gf 'got hungy' > "jokes on you, i never liked them anyway"
>>114712 >Tri-Tachyon? Tri-tach would fucking loves drones. You're thinking of The Church of Galactic Redemption or the Path. Hegemony would officially hate them, but love them secretly behind closed doors.
>>114712 NT would absolutely lend technical and financial support to the Federation if we're being honest. NT fought a very long, bloody and costly war with the Solver. Everyone at Nanotrasen, including the Corporate Officers to the lowest employee, has lost something to the DDs and the feelings of hatred are still there.
>>114731 >Fedanon going home to "interrogate" his DD "prisoner" >She's restrained (cuffed to the bed) >He uses a variety of "instruments" to "torture" her into confessing her crimes >Finally, he decides that he will turn her from the Solver, to human purposes, by clanging the evil out of her and giving her children so that she is forced to learn parental responsibility
>>114734 I'd love to help but I don't animate. I think I've heard blender's grease pencil function is good for animating, but I couldn't say personally
>>114758 >Anon pulls out his transform tool and scales the DD down to a more appropriate height >She is shocked to no longer tower over everything >She is even more shocked when Anon whisks her back to his house and voids her warranty
>>114774 >Anon sadly hits CTRL+Z, restoring the babe to her original height >She's still in afterglow from the first round >He then busts out the transform tool for a second time and uses it on himself before going for round two >The city is traumatized - both Anon and the DD are sued for public indecency for exposing the population to the horrors of Kaiju screwing >"I signed up to watch Godzilla x Kong, not GoDDjira x Dong!"
>>114785 Finding a torn up and broken N in the woods. Bringing N's remains home. Spending months figuring out how to put what little bits I can together. Spending the next 12 years of my life mastering engineering. Using my vast engineering knowledge to slowly rebuild body of broken N. Refilling N with oil after spending exhaustive amount of time repairing him. Watching N's eyes light up for the first time. Slowly rehabilitating N when he isn't screaming. Becoming best friends with N.
>>114808 >>114811 >>114812 >>114814 >Jane finally takes a bath >Screams like a woman possessed by the Devil >Eventually comes out squeaky clean. >But.... >She is no longer a failgirl. She can socialise without being creepy. >She ditches the cheerleader outfit for some proper winter gear. >And worst of all >She becomes a haughty bitch who drinks orange juice and bullies her friends.
>>114799 >>114800 >pre-core collapse she'd probably be embarrassed but appreciate the gesture since she likely didn't get a lot of warmth from anyone in CFL. bet she'd draw a nice picture of a deer just for you. >after years underground depends on how much of a surprise. if she didn't know you even existed and them you suddenly breached her defenses just to smooch her head she'd probably gut you thinking you were going for her head. if she captured you and you talked her into undoing your restraints, then gave her a kiss on the forehead I think she'd be taken aback, blushing anger would flash briefly across her face and fade as quickly. her wide eyes would dart about as thoughts raced through her head before meeting your gaze and commanding you, in shaky words, to "dew thayt ageeun"
>>114852 Fucking mary sue that even the evil eldritch god loves. Sweet cinnamon roll that murders fucking everyone with a smile but the fanbase still considers "good" because he likes dogs. Complete bullshit oc.
>>114866 If we changed an OC every time somebody complained then there'd be nothing left except primordial homunculi stripped of everything except the vaguest of mass-appealing '''characterization'''
>>114867 True, but Dred'fal isn't even a fleshed out OC, technically he's been stuck in the development stage. The guy doesn't even have a greentext to his name
>>114817 We already have robots, humans, and eldirtch beings in this fanon, adding aliens would make to whole thing too crowded not to mention aliens were never really acknowledged in the canon show. Even though mankind would likely have encountered alien life when establishing their interplanetary civilization, considering that Copper-9 was habitabe by humans before teh core collapse.
>>114891 Humans never truly left their galaxy in-univerde from what we've seen so it's totally possible along with the churches that were constructed way before the humans even got on Copper-9, proves that there is some form of intelligent life out there
>>114872 Dred'fal has all he needs. >Alien >General of an alien army >The next boss after the Solver Put him in your next greentext, whatever it is. Even if it's comfy U-U farming, have him monitoring the farm from his UFO with great interest.
>>114897 Crop circles in the corn, followed by Anon hallucinating an abduction and waking up to find out it was actually a super elaborate prank by U-U And then all three actually do get abducted
>>114883 Ive been considering a big helmet or a "cover" over the top hatch, just havent had and decent ideas im happy with yet.
Main reason the head is still small (normal drone head sized) is because its the same head as >>114876, it can pop its head out, or close the top hatch and tuck in behind the chair.
This alows both the Drone and pilot to use the top hatch, for the pilot it can act as a second entrance in case anything damage the front hatch, or for wanting to exit out the top for any reasion.
The Head/arms it has are technically redundant as it needs neither to function, (core is located elsewhere in the body) But greatly aids both the pilot and mech in non-combat tasks, such as repairs, rearming, or doing anything the main set of arms are too cumbersome to use with

Totally innocent question, but what would you say is the most defining feature(s) of a bad OC? CHOOSE CAREFULLY, EACH & EVERY REPLY WILL HAVE LASTING CONSEQUENCES...
Let me rephrase it, it is not that aliens would be bad or too out there, but what would they even add what cannot already be done with either the drones or the eldritch beings?
>>114922 If an OC has no art, it is bad If an OC has less art than another OC, it is worse than that OC My worldview is simplistic but I like stuff simple
>>114922 if it has a distinct lack of characterization or written development, it's not necessarily bad but it's definitely one note if the creator takes time to flesh it out, that shows a commitment at least
>>114897 Considering that everything with Solver powers can one-shot everything without Solver powers I don't think he would last long Laim build a really unbalanced power system didn't he?
Semi related but does anyone have the full giff of Doll killing those 3-4 randos for no apparent reason?
>>114938 >Don't think he can last long Counterpoint, he's a fucking Alien. If Humans could create a Solver patch then the dude probably has some alien tech that prevents him from getting smooshed
If OC doesn't resonate with you in any way: no love, no hate, no excitement, no laughter, no interest, no curiosity, no respect, just nothing - then it's a bad OC.
>>114959 >>114960 Uh, I'm sure that's literally just you. Although yeah, I can see how Negev is a fetish, but she's literally supposed to be a Vickers-Girl
>>114959 Shit forgot Negev my b >>114961 Yea >Beretta, Remy, Akita (well sort of), Colt, Negev N and Uzi >Hope N and V (forma de WD) >JC N and J >Shepard and U+ N and Izz
>>114948 You mean the show where N befriended and instructed Beau on how to dissect him? And the two waved at each other? Clearly N had taken the role of father to Beau.
>>114941 A handful but you have to go way back Some of the initial office AU ones for example - Toby, Carl, Abbas, Henry And a handful that deliberately crater the sex appeal - like P, Buckety, T
>>114943 That's why the motto is "better to ask forgiveness than permission" - people can point out flaws much faster on a product than you can deliberately avoid them in creating it
>>114950 >psycho slasher girl fetish >purification/heroism/good end fetish >scottish girl fetish >I don’t know what Avre’s deal is >woman who is nice to me fetish
>>114996 How is being Scottish considered a fetish? Let alone having a good ending? Do you fucking jerk off when a fairy tale says >"And they lived happily ever after."
>>114998 >"And they lived happily ever after." Bro, wtf, I just put on clean pants!! Great, now I have to get these dry cleaned, thanks a whole fucking lot!
>>114996 there are people who get off to women in uniform, too– that doesn't mean every female cop character ever made is a fetish character. just because there are people with a fetish for certain traits doesn't mean those traits are inherently fetishistic
>>115015 He had a hat, though! A different hat! That should've been enough, but NOOOOOO, she had to go get drunk on antifreeze in the back of the store! She had to assault our poor number drone as he cowered in terror! She had to leave afterwards without even paying for the consumed product, and then had the AUDACITY to demand an explanation later! Her fault! She was stupid, it's HER fault!
>>115016 >>115017 >I’m sharing a board with people who would rather have sex with a human woman than get their blood sucked out by a sleek mechanical killing machine I’m gonna puke
>>115021 >MG is desperately asking P to trade hats with him as J stomps towards the MGeneral Store >It's for a prank, a really really funny prank, that requires J to think that P is MG >It'll be really funny, just hand him the hat - hurry, she's getting closer!
>Fun Fact: The only kiss ever shown in the show was Darren kissing N's arm, meaning Darren was the first to kiss N than Uzi and the only canon kiss in MD is yaoi
>>114992 >>114993 >John is dragged to the incinerator, because drones are allowed to commit suicide >The incinerator's been broken for years, and all it manages is heating up to a comfortable temperature >John winds up falling asleep in it >When he wakes up, the tired he feels is now existential instead of physical
>>115070 >The Solver's Weakness Is Nightcore So let me this straight. Earth could've won The Solver war if they actually deployed Katana wielding Neckbeards to the frontlines?
Jane is a bad oc. She is barely related to the series. Her only relation is that she took part in what fans speculate happened before the events of the series elsewhere, that she interacted with Cyn, and that she now lives on Copper 9. Her backstory is minimal and gives you little to work with. But it doesn't really matter because the sheer majority of her content and fan reactions ignore it anyway. Jane starts and ends at being a smelly lesbian girlfailure. You could transplant her into any setting and it wouldn't change her or what her fans like about her. Try it if you don't believe me. Put her and Bonnie in 40k or GI Joe or Fallout. She isn't a Murder Drones oc. She is a Pocketsteaks oc doing an MD crossover.
>>115083 Anon its been over a year of this discussion, how many times does the same things need to be said with the same counterpoints always following. Are you not tired of it?
To this day this OC has somehow remained the most argued over d OC from every angle the threads have ever and probably will ever see. /md/ will eventually decay, with only two anons remaining to discuss, and still Jane will be brought up to fight.
>>115101 >>115103 I remember shooting the shit with him on /co/ about Kat being hairy and her body hair being made out of that wire used to scrub pots and caseroles.
>>115110 >Watches Jane become a girlboss named Janet who singlehandedly won the Solver War, took over JCJ as CEO, and married a large male bird in a hat You've ruined everything
>>115108 There are 8 billion people on this rock. Anything has a fan. Even Revenge of the Fallen or Tiberian Twilight. You can enjoy something but that doesn't make it actually good.
Do you or a loved one suffer from JDS? >Jane derangement syndrome You can seek help in the following ways >Simply ignoring it >Not repeating the same tired conversations and talking points we have gone over a million times >Using your hands to not type up a paragraph going over the same points as a year ago, and maybe writing something you want to see with Jane instead. >Going outside
>>115115 You speak as if the quality of OC is objectively measurable rather than subjective to interpersonal tastes. You can personally find Jane to be a bad OC, I can personally find her to be enjoyable; Any argument beyond this is an exercise in futility
>>115130 Top scientists are still trying to figure out if this disease is caused by overexposure to Jane smell particles, or underexposure to Jane smell particles
>>115140 >Yakoogis >The pests from Japan (they've never been to Japan) >There's so much mousse in their long black hair that it shines and is hard enough to pierce metal if shaped into a spike >They carry around briefcases and wear hideously colored suits >The main clans are the Tanaboogus and the Kinoogi, and they are coming to Neo-Detroit to establish a base
>>114799 This is very relevant (and a new screenshot!) Where does one best kiss Alice on her forehead? The helmet? Her hair (which covers her forehead)? Above (her left) right eye, where there is more glass visible due to her hairstyle? Or do you move her hair up and kiss her forehead below? Or kiss her straight on the face between her eyes...or her cutesnoot...or on her mouth😳
>>115137 >You speak as if the quality of OC is objectively measurable It kind of is, from a writing perspective. It relies on how much you can get out of a character and how much of it is well written. You are thinking of appeal, which is closely related.
Does Liam Vickers ever remind you of Monty Oum? Some talented autistic guy who impresses the heads of some indie web company and gets the chance to make their own show, with them cramming it full of characters and concepts without telling in advance, leading to confusion for other staff members.
>>115143 Real talk but what the fuck did Optimus do? Head to the city, commit some terrorism, then immediately get one shot by Megatron? All after stumbling into everything he needs on the way. Great leaderly qualities.
>>115170 >blushy Alice >She pulls back slightly, surprised and blushing >Her hand touches her mouth before she grins, eyes becoming sultry >"Alice wasn't expectin' you to go and take a bit of sugah, sugah. But a Southern belle does appreciate a fella who knows what he wants..."
>>115154 >It kind of is, from a writing perspective. No, it isn't. There is no such thing as an ''objective''' writing perspective, and to claim otherwise is the type of ignorance I'd expect from someone willing to argue about something as asinine as OC quality
Oogis are a bad oc. They are barely related to the series. Oogis only relation is Oogis took part in what fans speculate happene with Oogis elsewhere in an AU, that Oogis interact with Oogis, and that Oogis live in hives. Oogis backstory is minimal and Oogis little to work with. But it doesn't really matter because the sheer majority of Oogi content and fan reactions ignore it anyway. Oogis starts and ends at being a smol bug thing. You could transplant Oogis into any setting and it wouldn't change Oogis or what Oogis fans like about Oogis . Try it if you don't believe me. Put her and Bugrettas in WarOogi 40k or GI: oogis Joe or Falloogies. >She isn't a Murder Drones oc. Oogis is a Cthulhu anon oc doing an MD crossover.
>>115163 This is what annoys me the most about Jane discussions, if you read the solver war green's she does have a personality and things to work with that aren't just sex or being a failure, and the same goes with Bonnie. But people completely ignore that and only view the art and memes. They have exactly what they want, but choose to ignore it, and then ask for what they are ignoring anyways.
Is it truly so wrong to want to enjoy a silly horrible woman do horrible things with her goofy wife until she gets her killed leading to a life of enslavement and misery? Is that too much to ask?
>>115224 >Wagie drones are cheap enough eh, depends on a few factors, but generally yeah. if they've only been in service for a year or less they're not marked down too far from new ones but you can get some bargains if you find one that's outdated or in fair-or-below condition
>>115246 Man, fuck you, how dare you claim to improve my original character Black Jane™ Just for that, I'm gonna make her so black that she absorbs light
>>115214 >>115217 Oh I don't like the idea that drones might leave so when I say "installed" I mean installed. Like, as an appliance. It's basically just a head hooked up to my living room.

>>115302 I feel I'll be needing them eventually myself. Last night I scrolled through your Twitter some looking for your chickensona. I used to want to throw hands with you but the impression I got of you made me feel that it would be like kicking a stray dog. I still hate your guts but I hope your mental health improves.
>"Effective drones get cloned more often." >A lie most of the disassemblers had heard of at one point or another. >Oh, disassemblers came back, sure. Same personality, same memories, but it wasn't "them." >It was something most had noticed a while ago. Those that did come back, they had the original's memories, but those from the "boss's" perspective. >The inside jokes. The banter. The "boring" stuff. They didn't remember any of that. They should have. But they didn't. >So it wasn't "them." >Not that it mattered. >A disassembler like serial designation [not found] wouldn't be cloned. She was too "boring" in the "boss's" eyes. >A rank and file. >A nameless face among the hordes. >But today, she'd made a promise. >The war was getting harder. >The humans learning. Creating tools that could stand up to them. >And it was only a matter of time before the meat grinder of war got her. >So - she'd decided to be less boring. >All she needed was a target...
>The boy was alone. >Probably 13, 14? It was hard to tell. >He was starving, by the looks of it. >Not surprising, as she'd hunted his parents not long ago. >Now, he was an easy target for elimination. >But elimination was "boring." >She needed to entertain. >So, she would. >Landing on the rooftop of the boy's shelter, she made sure he heard her coming. >"Helloooo?" The nameless disassembler called. >The boy didn't even bother running as she poked her head around the corner, dead eyes just stared back at her. >Perfect. >"Aw, don't worry. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm a good drone, okay?" >The boy didn't answer. >She reached in a pouch at her side, finding a bit of meat from an earlier hunt. She'd even bothered to cook it. This was a special meal, after all. >She smiled as she offered the food to the boy. >"You look hungry. Here." >The boy's eyes went wide. He reached for the meat, and she didn't resist. Allowing him to take handfuls of the meat. >"There you go..." She said, watching as he greedily choked the meat down. >She watched him for several minutes, doing nothing but smiling. >It was the start of things. >She'd visit the boy every day for about a month, bringing him "food" that she "hunted." He never asked what it was she hunted, but then the desperate never did. >Telling him, no, that would be the finale. >The "interesting" part, to the boss at least. >It was towards the end of the month that things went poorly. >She'd visited the boy's shelter, a better one than he'd started with, a tip she'd given, so he wouldn't end up getting snatched up by one of her siblings. >She must have gotten sloppy.
>"Disassembler spotted, engaging!" A sentinel yelled. >There were 3 of them. >The nameless disassembler... didn't stand a chance. >As she lay there in her own oil, waiting to die, something happened. >"Wait!" The boy called out, moving to cover her with his own body. "She's a good drone. Please don-" >The nameless disassembler saw the opportunity, and put a sword to the boy's neck. "He dies if you follow me." >The sentinels hesitated, she took her chance, popped her wings, and flew, holding the boy the entire time. >She had no idea how long she ran. >But it was enough. >By the time she found a good spot, she was spent. >The boy, oddly, didn't comment the entire time. >She lowered her sword. "Sorry..." She didn't know why she was apologizing, but it felt like something she should do. "You should... leave. Head back in that direction and the sentinels will probably find you." >He didn't move. >"Get going or I'll kill-" >"I don't think you will..." The boy interrupted. >She stared at him. >Then, she left. >This was a dumb plan to begin with...
