>no bumping

The rules? Just read them in thread #2 >>483975

/co/ 2025 Secret Santa is almost over, but not QUITE over! There still may be some last second (and past due) gift giving. And gifted anons still need to post their photos once the gifts arrive. And, of course, feel free to just chat and post fitting images and links.

Even different boards on 4chan prime have different rules on bumping and when threads start to auto-sage, it surprised me coming from /co and that being the only thing I had ever experience until the first /co ck/ board merge happened and I actually wasted time on other boards.

Unlike 4chan, these will never die and T2 would have been there with no limit, it just wouldn't be bumped. And since people had it bookmarked, that thread might still get a reply, especially a thank you reply, since it will be easier to quote a gifter there than to go back and forth.

But you do you, anon.

Anon's list is currently populated. So he probably wasn't one of the 10 or so grinched. There were gifts announced only at the 4 chan prime and you, since you are so curious even though it's not your list, can check if this was one of those yourself. I am running around in the rain right now but if there is an issue, we can potentially do something but at this stage, anyone not gifted like the two that still remain, plus the one's with other problems (missing addresses, etc.) are just going to be SOL.

There were, as I said, about 10 people grinched but I believe everyone came back and fixed that and most have got gifted including the anon just gifted today. But the two remaining I believe were also grinched so that's always going to be an issue.

Walmart gave me $5 for writing a review and I already had $7 in "WM Cash" for something I would have purchased anyways, so searching for things on my /co holiday WL sold at WM and actually found one that was already $3+ less than the Bald Billionaire's price.
So I spent $12+ on that. I had to buy a few more things to get free shipping, but it's not like I don't need laundry detergent!

It arrives Saturday so I'll consider it a VERY EARLY Secret Santa 2026 present to myself.

Well, what do you know. The UNGIFTED PASTE BIN was updated again tonight so we're down to two that can be gifted.

Once again, anyone previously gifted who received, please either post pics or at least post the item arrived; folks were asking at the prime 4chan thread. I doubt they will discuss it much in the new thread as that is likely to get it pruned.

>>484561
Thank you for doing this, I'm sure they will appreciate it, especially after being grinched.

>>484567
>posting list IDs is forbidden.
Nothing was forbidden. People did it. Not many and not often but it did happen. I am back from my party and relaxed and buzzed enough that I just ran a search and it didn't appear.

If you are concerned about people who were not gifted there's still several plus people that can't be gifted, like the .DE with the empty addressed, and the grinched .com who never came to fix (still empty, so they clearly don't even look at their own list on their own Amazon account in an entire month).

Again, if this isn't your own list, and you seem to be dancing around the question of whether you know this person, or the actual reason for your interest in just this one random list, but the people in charge of the pastebins are over at 4chan prime so if you can state your concern there at the New Year's thread - but I would at least spoiler the question since you are posting a WL code and bringing up a wish list. Or simply ask them to come over here and look at these posts.

You can NOT search plus 4chan without doing it manually and I'm not about to do that, buzzed or not, so this is about all the help I can offer you on this question.

Happy New Year.

When I opened the gift I thought so too but the other side is the same. Could it be manufacturing because the outer box was okay? I am fine with the book because I only want to read it but you can try to contact amazon for a discount with the attached photo.
No.484575

>>484573
>discount
It can't hurt for Anon to ask, but they might want something like a return of the book without necessarily offering to replace it.

Something like that is unlikely to be manufacturing, more than likely the book was damaged when the case received by the bookstore or the middle-man whole-seller, who then sold smaller lots of books to stores, opened the case from the printer/publisher. I've damaged some things that were poorly packed/had minimal packing material, just by using a box cutter to open up a box.

It can really depend on if it was a marketplace seller or Amazon that fulfilled this. It also depends on how much work Anon wants to put into this. But the photos would help.

Since the last /co Cheer thread died, and we do have this thread that will easily last us a few weeks into January while we wait for any late gifts/gifting plus, with discussion of Amazon gifting and wish list is potentially still iffy, especially on a 4chan prime thread that is about New Year's wishes:

we can use this thread to discuss here whether we even need a companion thread for 2026 /co cheer, when Black Friday rolls around (the traditional day the /co cheer started) or can/so we just go back to pre-2024 style wish list dropping and gift announcing the way it was done before the 2024 Janitorial/Mod shit show, thread prunes, etc?

Here's a straw poll to get you started. It's up all month of January (results are open and I'm sure the results won't surprise most people, since /co is definitely path of lease resistance/hive-mind):

Please note this decision will be up to the organizers since they are the ones that 'mod' the 4chan prime threads, control the pastebins, etc., act as OPs (and the ones who got bans in 2024 and thus risk them in the future).

But I'm confident they will take in feedback.

# # # # #

We can also discuss any other changes to /co cheer.

There were a few people that mentioned that we could do things like create a pastebin of people who wanted to just exchange Christmas greetings with one another - the way the pony folks do on /mlp/ and the way /a/ and I believe a few other boards do for the holidays.

Cards could be hand drawn art or similar, or store bought, etc. This, of course, involves someone being willing to organize this, which means that the people who want to participate would send in mailing addresses and sign up with an email account (and presumably you guys know about burner emails accounts?) and the organizer would be the one who would send out the actual home address to people, and the card gifting would be random:

Forty people sign up, forty emails with addresses go out, and each person is individually responsible to send, with a handful of backups. I mean, this is how I understand, we can probably ask at /a/ or /mlp/ (or someone who cross-overs between /co and any of the other boards that do this can chime in?)

We can also discuss other changes.

We had no riddles or puzzles this year - not really, other than one simple (maybe joke?) attempt that one person guessed straight off. And we only had one contest, and likely that won't happen again this coming year, when we often had 3 to 5 in a season. So we can discuss what else might need to happen, or just say we're happy with the status quo.

# # # # #

As far as wish list and gifting, we can also discuss the pastebin, since it's very obvious that not everyone even looks at them, whether if we urge them or not.

The current /co cheer organizers did create a slightly shorter draft, it can be seen here:

For reference, this year's pastebin can be read here:

Again, this is up to the /co cheer organizers, but they already read and heard some of the feedback in the companion thread and created the draft above so they will probably listen to constructive criticism and feedback about the pastebin, making it more readable and MORE importantly, EASY TO FOLLOW.

The two important things are (1) addresses on wish list: make sure there is one AND make sure it's current/accurate.

Five people dropped without addresses this year and at least one ended up not fixing this and went ungifted.
At least two people were gifted but it went to the wrong address this year, both were fixed in time.

(2) PB basics: mark it public, be aware of grinching, gifting foreign anons, include the foreign domain if not a dot com list, adding an email address (again, BURNER EMAIL ACCOUNTS, people) for those wanting digital books/kindle books/gift cards, and other digital media like audio books, music, or movies, etc.

And anything else to help make the pastebins work better.

! ! ! ! !

tl;dr vote in the green text straw poll;
look at the pastebins
and make suggestions about future version,
if you have any.

And after everything else, have a great 2026 and see y'all next year!

This was that annual art project your board does for Christmas? How did the entire thing turn out. I looked at the last thread there, still up after the 25th, and noticed their were a late of late list drops but no one was saying if these were new or people wanting to fish for extras. And there didn't seem to be any gifting, tho to be fair, again this is the last thread and after the holiday. I think it was the 29th or 30th. I saw one person post a tiny (maybe PVC or vinyl?) figure of an animal or something like the that and thank the gifter but otherwise it just looks like post after post of plain old 4chan blather.

Do you guys keep track of how many people asked for something and whether (at least from someone else there), they received? Or is it just as informal and chaotic as it looks?

no, i only started it this year, tho planning to do it again next year and will see if any /co/ anons wanna join too again when the time comes.
usually, anons do a drawfag collabe project but nobody started it this year, so nothing came from that.
>How did the entire thing turn out.
picrel & linky but pretty good imo, was fun having anons create stuff together, very cozy

>And there didn't seem to be any gifting, tho to be fair, again this is the last thread and after the holiday.
yeah most gifting is done before or during christmas, sometimes a few sprinkled after. some robots will target giftlets some will gift people they like or other active anons.
>Do you guys keep track of how many people asked for something and whether (at least from someone else there), they received?
it usually traditional to post, showing the purchasing of a gift (for anti-grinching proof), and then the receiver posts said gift, usually with the little cute gift note, and a collage is made at the end of all the gifts, tho doesnt look like the one ano who usually does it, did it this year
>Or is it just as informal and chaotic as it looks?
informal and chaotic as the robot way, sometimes anons keep track of giftlets. its purely up to the individuals themselves, which they seem to forget a bunch too somehow.

Thanks for the reply.

To be honest, I doubt people will be interested in a collaborative project on /co during cheer that relates to /r9k because even before the problems in 2024's cheer, there was some bad blood going back to, I want to say 2021? Maybe 2020? Grinching lists wasn't common on /co cheer, prior to some /r9k accounts deciding to drop wish lists. People felt attacked and, frankly, in some cases rightly so.

I'm not telling you not to try, and I think it might help if you maybe posted some collaborative projects outside cheer, like maybe before the summer cons start. Pick one of the themes, like storytime of pain, and do a collar on that. And when September starts, probably mid-month, suggest a spooky collab.

People might then possibly view these as a /co thing. Good luck either way you go.

People who didn't (properly or whatever) happened with at least one of those - drop a list to get added to the ALL wouldn't have been put on the UNGIFTED, sis. And for someone who allegedly is not any of these list and supposed not a robot, you sure are very concerned about these rando anons YOU ARE NOT and DO NOT KNOW, especially when they're are two actual anons who have been stuck on the UNGIFTED list since at least the second week of December who still have jack shit.

I just wasted 20-30 minutes looking at and for one of your lists, and then realized it was never posted to the psstebin period. The only ones deleted from these threads and not posted were the known robots. You don't like that? so sad, too bad, make your own secret santa. Oh wait, the robots do have their own! Waddayaknow!

Not wasting another minute with your other drama list.

Show your proof, sister or STFU. In the meantime, make a better case for yourself by picking up at least one of the two legit lists left. And before you try to throw shit back, I purchased off multiple wish list this holiday and have every year.
