Considering what USA did on Venezuela, probably Trump would just declare himself as the emperor of Iran while not doing anything to actually control the country. Iran would get a new supreme leader in like 2 months and everything would stay the same. However if they take over the country and put an anti-china regime I do think shit would escalate quickly.
To be honest if anything wiping out the government of Iran was carried out too late, should have been something getting done earlier before they wiped out the citizens protesting against their actions as mentioned in the previous thread.
