>>415056 4chan is capable of some impressive detective work and it pretty much deserves all the hilarious trolling, Shia is so up his own celebrity ass with this style of "protest".
>>415068 I'm watching some of the NYC stream sessions. Jackie4chan, Naruto, Jesus and the other night chill bros are pretty cool. It's good to see some 4chan anons just chilling (even if most of them are dirty /pol/tards).
Remember when Fox News had a whole segment about how 4chan were Hackers on Steroids over stock footage of a van exploding (which I guess was meant to imply Anonymous hacked it into blowing up?)
The more things change the more they stay the same.
It was a hitpiece on imageboards in general, as evidenced by the inclusion of /i/, a then-420chan-exclusive board that did a lot of the /i/nvasion shit after 4chan went down for a while.
>>415317 I might have said it on another board already, but Crash's art style got worse as the series got on. I don't think that's a nostalgia-based opinion. He got ugly.
Hey, I found a comment by g l u e 7 0 in the most unexpected place.
For those who don't know, he made one of the backing tracks in the "reposted in the wrong neighbourhood" meme, here: https://soundcloud.com/glue70/casin
I did say I would stop spamming CWC on here but oh jeez. Doopie finally took the hint that CWC can't take a hint. I wonder if (s)he can still manage to pull some mental gymnastics on this tweet.
Yeah, /pco/, but I think it's worthy of the thread. Found this while investigating reports, I think some kid just reported a bunch of stuff they didn't like.
That string is over half an English alphabet in length. And they even forgot to add Apache in, fucking bigots. At some point the obsessive far-left bloggers will have to start trying to make pronounceable acronyms, fuck even those would be impossible.
Would anyone worth taking seriously be offended by people just saying "et cetera" or an asterisk?
>>415759 Some people when it comes to the whole acronym soup get really pissy about what they see as elements getting excluded, or their own personal element not coming first in it.
Incidentally, if you are wondering about the “raw” at the end of that otherwise-typical Tumblr filename: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/30833-tumblr-image-url-redirect
>>415790 Oh yes! Thank you so much. I've been starting to get upset at the small size of tumblr images I've been saving recently. I'm not a stickler for jpg artifacts when they aren't too bad, but when I know that I'm saving an image that I know is larger than I'm saving.
In a world where 90% of the population has natural superpowers you take one person and force a bunch of different powers stolen from others into them until they end up as a big mindless killing machine for the purpose of assisting in criminal activities.
as a side note I recently had a "this image is 10 years old" moment and it hit me fucking hard. I'm mostly over it now, but it makes me wish I was able to watch cartoons in my teen years and participate in now mostly-expired fandoms
>>416845 /qa/ is useless the mods and Hiro are going to run 4chan how they like and they give no fucks about the users of 4chan unless they can be used for profit.
>>416846 It's useless for complaining, if that's what you mean. It's fine for discussion and venting. It's not meant as a feedback board and it never was.
>>416929 The only fast thing in /aco/ is the drawthread, to the point that you have hundreds of requests in a day, 99% of which are reposts from the last thread.
>>416930 >99% of which are reposts from the last thread. I once searched a character name on desuarxhive and just got multiple pages of an identical request posted in dozens of drawthreads in a row. I rarely request draws, but they always get drawn, and if they didn't then just realise it's not worth their time and try something better.
>>417872 Honestly, if someone cared about pushing such a movement into comic, the best way would be to add a small reference or joke casually implying LGBT* status and not making a big deal of it or a frequently recurring element. Exploitation is not progress, normalisation is. Forcing a theme is a great way to generate disgust. It seems that I am in the clear minority in being apathetic about sexuality.

>>417972 Not that funny in retrospect, knowing that: - Steve Dillon died a few years ago (that's him in the bottom left corner) - he KNEW about the Frank meme, and purposefully tried putting that face everywhere he could - he gave us Dogwelder so he is officially above all ridicule.
>>418003 That bee/hornet defense is only present in Japanese honeybees though, they evolved the method so they can protect themselves against the Asian giant hornet (the largest and deadliest hornet that exists).

>>418006 Well, that wasn't a realistic scenario to begin with, a school shooter in Japan would have been handled by their martian teachers before they could do any harm.
>>418013 I never knew of those details of the bible (wasn't taught as scripture). History check out: >https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xylospongium >The xylospongium (greek) or tersorium (roman), also known as sponge on a stick, was a hygienic utensil used by ancient Romans to wipe their anus after defecating,[1] consisting of a wooden stick (Greek: ξύλον, Xylon) with a sea sponge (Greek: Σπόγγος, Spongos) fixed at one end. >The tersorium was shared by people using public latrines. To clean the sponge, they simply washed it in a bucket with water and salt or vinegar.[2] This became a breeding ground for bacteria, causing the spread of disease in the latrine.[3]
>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Sponge The Holy Sponge is one of the Instruments of the Passion of Jesus Christ. It was dipped in vinegar (or in some translations sour wine), most likely posca, a favorite beverage of Roman soldiers, and offered to Christ to drink during the Crucifixion, according to Matthew 27:48; Mark 15:36; and John 19:29. As if they would give him their favourite drink during crucifixion.
>Though a piece of the Holy Sponge, brown with blood, is preserved in Rome I've got some bad news for you...
>>418115 >Last Jedi is a bad film though In your opinion. Fortunately for the rest of us, your subjective opinion is not objective fact—and you might want to consider the idea that you’re one of the people who refuse to accept that people like TLJ. Saged for off-topic post.
TLJ was just plain boring. Beyond being a typical CGI shitfest, it had no qualities, no good nor bad. If it wasn't named Star Wars, it would've been a complete flop.
Also was I the only one who noticed, that aside from Luke and whatshisname, the bad guys were all white males, and the good guys were all women or Bodega Black. This is not counting the aliens, and the space pilot whatshisname who is being critiqued for the entire duration of the movie over how he should just sit on his ass instead of mansplaining, because he is making things worse for Leia and the rest of the women officers (one of whom then takes out the Imperial flagship with a deus ex machina that invalidates the entire threat of the Death Star).
That is if TLJ is the movie I remember it being. They are releasing so many new Star Wars movies so fast, that they started blending together. I know I can't tell Ep 7 and that prequel to ep 4 apart. I might be mixing together some parts from TLJ too. It's the one with the bullshit space race with Luke dying after doing fuck-all for the entire movie, right?
