Snake had a couple other things going on last King of /v/, but the Old Snake posts definitely were the most notable part of his campaign there. Now I'm not sure whether it was successful or not. He DID manage to beat Raiden by a close margin, and to be quite honest I feel either would have struggled against John considering the circumstances. He also got 6th at the end, not to mention he didn't get hit by quite the same backlash as Kiryu.

On the other hand, the most controversial Old Snake post was the one where he basically said Eggman winning was inevitable. Was he right for him still making finals and plowing through everyone prior aside from Wario? Was he wrong since Grimm still beat him by a pretty strong margin? To propose even a third possibility, was an even more miserable soul taking down Eggman in the end just a sign of poetic justice?
