Might as well make one for this year. So any hopes on this one?
My hopes personally are two things, one we don't get banned or pruned from /aco/ again. Two, I hope we get more characters that originate from the artists, like Huffslove and Rookie. But yeah here's hoping for at least a good year for Miss /aco/.

So I am guessing you are going for all plant related women. I know there is Poison Ivy and then there is Pokemon in general but is there really anyone else in /aco/ plant related who would have a good chance of winning?

Apart from the many Pokémon Plants,
Kanna was a finalist, so she's out next time.
There's the PvZ Plants, most popular being Sunflower/Solar Flare, so I'd say her (but others might still do well)
Piranha Plants could maybe get far, I think they're popular enough.
Florans (Starbound) or Lillymon (Digimon) I doubt, but worth mentioning.

Hopefully held within /aco/ and there should be a “no eastern character” rule because I don’t want this to just be a /trash/ tourney.

Don't we also have to make sure that every character is "human"

I know this might be a little controversal but I honestly want more web characters to enter Ms. /aco/. The original one was mostly made out of web characters.
Not to say that the current tournament should be made 100% out of web characters but I feel they should be like 50% made out of them.

Legit question who would really be considered a controversial winner for Miss /aco/ aside from another furry?

I would say there's no way a loli would win...
But then I remembered that Amphibia and Owl House are popular in /aco/...
But then I remembered they're the biggest jobbers out there.
So yeah a loli will never win Miss /aco/.

I've seen some "loli's" pretty popular on there before like Megumin and Marnie, and Konatu qualified the last tourney (who would all be the double-whammy of anime + loli). But eastern characters might just get a ban next tourney anyways if it happens.

No one on this site who knows about Lucky Star is actually gonna accuse Konata of being a loli unless they're extremely angry if she knocks out one of their picks in /aco/.

Me too I always thought Konata and her friends were 10 or something and Tsukasa was like 8
I still do not buy that those are supposed to be 18 year olds

Aside from RevRookington (Left) and Huffslove (Right) any other artists that have a possible high chance of their character making it in the brackets?

Isabel from Kazarinka has some good chances. Her artist usually deletes his works for some reason but now we got confirmation about a Visual Novel in the works. It is apparently a horror-romance-esque VN.

RevRookington has a few ocs I can see getting in.
Courtney from his Finals comic made it in the brackets, but I wonder how Matilda and Molly would do.

I might draw a pic or two if I'm not doing anything else but honestly, probably not. Too much coom, I felt like any longer would've seriously messed me up.
