It's impressive how much of 2020's roleplay and storyline ended up overshadowing the results of the actual tournament. By last year a lot of people couldn't even remember half of the Elite Eight outside of Tom and Daffy.

Nah, It happened in Villains of /v/ tourney where Kane and Karl somehow tied and Kazuya SOMEHOW managed to beat a three-way only for him to get into another three-way.
All three characters had very active and determined campaigners and their names all started with K so the name "KKK three-way" stuck.

Karl also had Roland as a back up card essentially meaning there were multiple campaigners rooting for Karl.
This match up had such high stakes that I'd genuinely thought that either one of these three were guaranteed to win the whole tournament.

Add to the fact he was pushing pointlessly in the third Ms. /co/ thread discussion here for an asterisk this year simply because "muh the faggy host added these two retarded options in the poll, I wouldn't whine that much unless I was a riggernigger, I also whine because the characters in the elite actually fought for their spots and not silent carried their asses there". Sure champ, definitely not because your precious FARTS and milf characters were BTFO'd. Funny when someone pointed out he was pulling the same circus act in the /trash/ thread at the same time he shat the fuck up instantly realizing he didn't get what he wanted. "technical reasoning" is some idiot just adding a that e-mail thing and a "choose your weapon" minigame through it that may have only scared off the riggers. I voted confidently because I have my e-mail's name concrete and my picks lean towards the vocal minority that put their girls in the best light all through the tournament. If the big issue is because some voters left or were removed then it's because the silent majority or riggers were actively trying to vote for those. If that had played out Eris and Wuya wouldn't have never reached final round. This was demonstrated when people tried to rig out Fang during the first round last year.

I wasn't the dude arguing that. My problem was the voter dropoff and open vote tampering by the host, which we know he can and has done on a wide scale (added with his past history of switcheroo and then the shit with the loser's bracket vote it's quite problematic).
I can barely follow what you're trying to say but it sounds like you think vote tampering and cutting off a large part of the board is okay if the right campaigner girls go through, and the drop-off was probably just riggers or silentfags that deserve it. Basically dickriding NSA because you like the results.

Looking back at the number of ips what makes you believe a good number of those weren't multiaccounts or outsiders coming to vote? Bear in mind if this had been allowed with the typical 1000 votes, nothing would have changed. Nothing points out NSA was just siding towards the one with campaigners exclusively or the ones in the elite and vote "tampering" how so? He's demonstrated to take his time every round to analyze the votes otherwise he wouldn't have come up with the options to scare off riggers. Let's not forget he isn't doing this alone when Ghost and Balls remain in contact with him too so they also could have helped in the case of an anomaly in the votes per round. Raven wasn't active until Starfire was out and she made it through by being silent carried up to that point. If you think that despite me being actively voting for Jessica Rabbit then
>problematic
You have the hand attached to your hand anon. Point them to the people who voted first for that to be a possibility (cough) /v/ (cough). But I agree him adding 3 options that favored him was petty of him. That was the case I have to give you the right to be mad because I too am in comparison to how Coayynon managed his polls.

We don't know. That's just it. We only have what we did know and that was the common base numbers as they were publicly presented in previous years.
>vote "tampering" how so?
Admitting to removing 200 votes in qualifiers. The nonsense with ms. finals last year. There's a strong implication he does something every round too. Especially when there's unusual wait times and a refusal to open the direct form results after polling is closed.
>He's demonstrated to take his time every round to analyze the votes
We have no fucking idea what he does, m8. And the other hosts aren't really open about that either. From what we've seen he doesn't communicate well with them.
And all the stuff with polling loser's bracket (which basically no one was asking for) but not polling other debated rules/meta and his views on that is a whole other issue.

We voted him for removing votes silently after Ms. /co/ 2022. Mr. /co/ was proof enough of it but Ms. /co/'s traffic is different with the amount of waifufaggotry and so we witnessed the first huge difference with Mr. here in qualifiers this year with those votes dropped. If it happens again next year then we have to argue again about this. I understand the reasons this became such a big deal this year was because his own incompetence when he implemented those options without telling before, his tantrum about being the only host and the loser's bracket. I don't think how Mr. /co/ will be affected this year besides people will only come to bring on this endless debate. It's not deserving of an asterisk but it's true we don't know what he does behind scenes, although then came to mind the fact he takes time with it after the poll closes which is understandable with how he's trying to implement new ways to prevent rigging. The problem, NSA is a dick and having no communication not even in /tnt/ where he knows is safe is pointless. I don't count PenisAnon beacause he was simply making new threads every once. We can go on about this but don't say I am dickriding him when I've been openly criticizing and pointing out his questionable actions just like I am going to do for Mr. /co/ as well. I liked the tournament but I understand why it's bad for anons too.

And he didn't even do that, which is part of the problem. He dropped a bombshell about rigging and vote removal in qualifiers THEN went silent about it, but with everyone pretty strongly suspecting he's fucking with the votes the rest of the tournament, reinforced by the massive drop-off and all the "blacklist" suspicion.
>don't say I am dickriding him when I've been openly criticizing and pointing out his questionable actions

That's what I was saying with the traffic being different compared to Mr. /co/. It attracts a good chunk of people's autism about their girls and those could have been part of the rigging, just like those discordfags rigging for Hex Maniac and Fang last year.

Don't worry about it, you're cool. Like I said, I can understand why people won't like how it turned out since you brought up good points but I don't think it's worth guaraanting an asterisk but more as a reason to boot off NSA from further hosting. To me, things will be better when he finally leaves and someone more communicative takes over. To be fair it's been said he lurks here because Culturefag just happened to find the tournament in /trash/ somehow despite /aco/ being discussed here before going to /aco/. However, he admitted he hates /aco/ which comes more evident of his troll and lolcow nature when people pointed out his hypocrisy with good arguments but refused to elaborate. The thing is, people love talking about schizos (way too much) because it's a convenient narrative. Almost a fucking "tournament trope" at this point. I'm just here to have fun, but my poor innocent pick is getting slandered by this insane obsessive schizo who does... something, I guess! Everyone wants to have their own Barneyfag. This has happened plenty of times in the latest /co/ tourneys.

>everyone against Fang is Industryfag (used to be "Shirley rigger" but they found a new boogeyman now)
>everyone against Zorak is the anti-Zorakfag
>everyone against Tiff is the anti-Tifffag
>everyone against Murder Drones is the anti-MDfag
>everyone against Loona is Numnuts

If you look at the posts in the iceberg thread a year ago someone also tried pushing a "70fag" or whatever, basically some guy who was complaining about vote numbers in Round 3 of Ms. /co/ or something, that was immediately added to the iceberg as some epic meme, then in a month nobody could remember what this "epic schizo" did and that was removed. Maybe the /v/ tourneys had shit like this too, though I don't recall.

What I do know is that it's getting really fucking old at this point. I voted for some of these characters I listed, but seeing their supporters ITT act like this whenever they had any opposition almost made me change my vote at a few points. I wish people had thicker skin and could acknowledge the reality that not every single person is going to speak positively about their pick, rather than hiding behind this narrative that everyone speaking out against them is some insane schizo. Then again, maybe I'm applying too much good faith to this, I guess for some this could be a full-fledged falseflagging strategy at this point. I really hope Mr. /co/ doesn't have more of this bullshit.

Hard not to be suspicious about this sort of thing when /co/ has a laundry list of actual schizo's, and plenty of more normal posters that are prone to being asshats that will happily pretend to be a schizo for shits and giggles, really though all the schizo talk that happened in this tournament is almost certainly just a side effect of everyone being pissed off at NSA for dropping an announcement about how the voting process has changed out of nowhere, it fucked with the mood of the tournament threads and let doomposters and funposters have way more pull than they would otherwise.

This. It's getting tourney meta too where any complaints about a particular point get you accused of being this one funposter/schizo too. I call them schizo-schizo's. Everyone against them must be some guy they don't like.

Well this fucking sucks, at least the smaller tournaments and /tnt/ itself are much safer from schizo/schizo-schizo/falseflagging and anti campaigning shit.

It does happen but just like with most things, anons take the wrong approach. Because yes, having some fag constantly shitting on your character for an entire round is fucking annoying and can ruin the mood quite easily. But half of these "schizos" aren’t even that, I can tell you with certainty that most of instances of anti-campaigning are, ironically, pushed by other campaigners, or in these cases fanboys.

Why are there people who seriously falseflag, has no one learned from /dbs/ how obnoxious that is, it's a lot more fun to just campaign cleanly.
No.63754

>>63753
Because of insecurity, not believing their picks could win cleanly. Sometimes it isn’t even falseflagging, but just anons venting their anger at characters they dislike while being extra petty about it.

Bitterness and some people legit get their kicks off more that way, much like trolling in general.
But as an anon above implied this is only really a thing in big tournaments. It can't work in smaller one's where everyone is pretty much in-the-know with each other and the metafagging. Example being numnuts/culturfag last ms. /aco/ getting laughed out of the room by literally everyone.

Ehhh, as much as I'd like to agree when it comes to smaller tournaments, it's not perfect there either if this years Mrs /aco/ was anything to go by, sure Numnuts/culturefag had no effect on the course of the tournament, but his presence was enough that a few anons were a bit jumpy in the afterparty and took innocuous criticism to be Numnuts falseflagging, it's a lot better than in the big tournaments at least though.

I don't know why Culturefag wants to ruin Jenny and the other girls' good names though. How petty do you have to be to literally want to ruin the safest winner who is Jenny?

Because they believe popularity and being silent carried is more important than putting actual effort and love for the characters you find fascinating

Because he's a spiteful asshat like IC, I noticed that he posted Dtiberius porn that happened to feature Wuya in the last round of Mrs /aco/, even though she not only lost several rounds ago by that point but he had shown up in a Wuya thread made on /co/ proper shortly after her win to shit up the place with his usual MILF spam and complains about board culture, he either doesn't care about or actually dislikes the characters he spams porn of so the possibility of their image being tarnished doesn't bother him, he's either just looking for an excuse to troll, or for an excuse to rave and rant about his beliefs, the tournaments happen to be that excuse.

Question, how do we differ him from IC (or if he is actually him)? From what I can gather from Culturefag is:
>MILFfag, the one who posts a list of milfs every tournament
>Any girl that isn't a milf or a character with a son he can self-insert is terrible according to him and there his hatred towards the elite this year
>anti-campaigner and falseflagger against any girl to paint them in a bad light
>He always brings up the 15 years ago oldfag made up thing
>"Jenny is the only good winner" but for some reason doesn't bring up Spinel either
>Camp Sherwood and other shit he keeps spamming and only did a quick research to post and pretend he is an oldfag
>calls you Reddit or Twitter if pissed off
>treats 4chan like it's his entire life, when in reality does shit to support it
>Paranoic that furries and outsiders are destroying his "home"
>Gets pissy whenever futa or loli content is criticized because "muh it's culture of 4chan" same thing with BLACKED
>Phonefag (Filenames always start with IMG_XXXX)
>Confirmed tourist and hypocrite such as in the /v/ thread where he got called out of complaining about furries in the /trash/ thread of all places
>self-inserter and daddy issues
>hates /aco/ but doesn't have any problem lurking in /trash/
>Keeps evading fair arguments against him and when he is cornered he starts dumping his incest collection to evade
Maybe I'm missing more but it's pretty clear this guy is a massive troll wanting to stir up shit. I'm not too familiar with Industrycuck beyond him hating indies and if that had been the case for the Ms. /aco/ in /trash/ he would have been more vocal towards his hatred of a Vivzie cartoon winning. Feel free to add more to the list above.

Also can someone help figure out exactly what did this person mean by "bringing up IC here"?

There was Ladyfag and Spoilerfag in Queen /v/ who seethed a ton about Gebura from Lobotomy Corporation and Alice from Black Souls respectively, but they're the only notable ones due to how big their seethe was.
