Can't speak for everyone, but I would actually say co-op might be the perfect place to continue it. There would be a few months off from King, and it also wouldn't be too far away for people who enjoyed it to have it less on their minds.

That's true, plus it was really fun to write, so doing some more of it sounds like a good idea, although it won't surround Scout since that was concluded. I was unsure how well an investigation would work in a smaller side tournament, but I remembered that Frank West did something like that in Heroes of /v/ and was really good, so hopefully I can come up with something quality again. I also had an idea where I would try to get the Big Boss rank in MGS1 during just a single round, although I'm not thinking too much on campaign ideas at the moment. I still need a break after King.

Yeah, that goes for all characters no matter how many times they're nominated. For example, AM was nominated on six teams for the first Co-op, so the one with the most votes was the only one who got in.

While Wario and Eggman make for a fun pairing, they could also suffer from some sense of fatigue coming off King of /v/. I think Wario & Waluigi struggling that hard last year was a fluke, especially with Waluigi managing several rounds on the losers’ bracket in the aforementioned King. Other potential partner that could work would be Peppino as something like the “Bashful Brutes”.
