This board is for hosting tournaments and other organized competitions, be it either events, contests, or anything where a winner must be determined through votes or otherwise. Just for this board, image duplicates are enabled and the bump limits are set extra high. Roleplaying is encouraged, unless event hosts ask otherwise.
>>18 >>43 >>964 Question from Orel Peterson >How many of you are actually liking the song of "Shriner's Convention" by Ray Stevens playing in the beginning and end?
>>10871 Not on the booru. will be posting a few of these, tell me if I'm mistaking non-oc for OC though(like if I'm just posting official art that has a sketchy kinda look).
>>11609 >>11610 Looks great, but shouldn't the (*) be only for those who win the tournament through rigging like Spinel did? None of them actually won.
>>11645 Asterisk is for a character winning their position through cheating. It’s not winning the tournament but placing high. This is why the other girls didn’t receive it. Like Karen, Tigress, etc.
>>11648 A lot agreed with that back in the threads. The best thing of all of this however, is that something like that will never happen again because of a) The new rule that won't risk characters' reputations and silently remove votes, and b) Nightshift is looking for an alternative for Google Form. What I mean is, no one will ever get asterisked again.
>>11656 NightShift has been looking for an alt since last year. I don’t think we’ll ever get one because there isn’t a replacement that will stop rigging. I think just giving the host the ability to remove fishy votes is enough.
>>11656 > A lot agreed with that back in the threads. Most didn’t. I saw asterisk posters in primal threads but it’s always only one guy. Hell the Shirley thread died at 20 posts. The Fang winning thread hit the bump cap. I think if we really want to be sure we should have a vote about it in the mr competition.
>>11657 There was that anon who had an idea in the Ms. /co/ thread here and even Nightshift says he's currently looking for one which could mean maybe there could be one out there. >>11658 Well, it included drawfags too who agreed with that. I'm not aware of those threads. >I think if we really want to be sure we should have a vote about it in the mr competition. We would need to talk to Nightshift about it and I remember him thinking doing that would extend all of this longer. I still agree Chel should have been the right opponent all along, even Nightshift apologized for not taking the most reasonable action back then and listening to a "majority" about letting the suspicious votes in.
>>11659 > There was that anon who had an idea in the Ms. /co/ thread here and even Nightshift says he's currently looking for one which could mean maybe there could be one out there. That sounds great, but I won’t get my hopes up. > Well, it included drawfags too who agreed with that. I'm not aware of those threads I don’t know about this. I saw two drawfags agreeing. But I saw a couple others disagreeing. If we go by posts then we’ll never get a sure answer. But I’m going to go with votes. Giving Fang an asterix seems unfair when she beat all the rigging against her. Fang prob would of taken it. Since she has show ending hype, Chel losing to Shirley Fang beating her etc. I still think it’s dumb we knew who was rigging and didn’t vote em out, and we even needed a vote to tell the host to remove cheaters.
>>11660 I remember seeing like two or three of them, while I still welcome Fang as a winner. Truth is, we will never get a proper way to explain how many are in favor or against it. I still find it incredible she beat Raven though, considering she was close and should be the real Ms. /co/ of 2019. >I still think it’s dumb we knew who was rigging and didn’t vote em out, and we even needed a vote to tell the host to remove cheaters. That's why I'm a little insistent on Nightshift staying true to his word of removing the suspicious votes silently without giving any mention of the character of the implication of rigging. Let this be the last time a character gets asterisked. I can foresee the only one not following this because he never listens to him is Temp.
>>11661 Like Dr. Mrs. Monarch it probably had a lot to do with her show ending. As well as going on as the tourney was running. Hype like that gives characters a yearly boost. You could see it with Muriel too. I'll trust NS since he was pretty forthcoming about the rigging, and asked what to do. In the worst way possible, but there was an attempt. I wonder how many winners/8 aren't legitimate because hosts never removed fraudulent votes before.
Bruh did we kill the Anne comic drawfag with this last tournament? He hasn't showed signs of life since round 1 and I say this as someone whose only reason to vote for Anne was him.
