DTVA and its jobber statusAnonymous

>be the most celebrated part of a well known animation company

>have several hyped up shows in the form of Amphibia and Owl House, complete with campaigns
>job around the round 1 or 2 mark

>have honored standbys like Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb, and even Wander Over Yonder
>slowly starting to slip off, even when some got E8 before

>other shows whether new (Molly McGee, Primos) or old (Proud Family, American Dragon) struggle to qualify or get pass round 1

What can be done to turn things around?

>jobber threads went from honest performance discussion to humiliation rituals to seething over characters and companies people don't like
This board is decaying faster and faster.

This thread is several years too late. Molly McGree was the last DTVA show that even qualified and that was in 2022. Probably made by a tourist who just wanted another jobber thread even though it's more like a dead horse at this point.

Ngl I am surprised that Anne's fallen off, I thought she would've made E8 by now. I guess the clAnne scars run pretty deep.

Anyway awhile back I was thinking about Amity and Luz and was wondering what they'd need to win at least one round. Luz actually came close this year, Ribbit beat her by less than 10 votes (and Amity lost to Enid in 2024 by 6). Amity seeded the highest she's ever been at 50 this year, so I wonder if she could continue to move up in increments (I think Smoke helped a lot with this). Anyway I feel as if one of them would only have a shot if they somehow ended up facing off against each other and was curious as to which one /co/ would settle for. It'd be Amity right?

I always thought Anne was one of the biggest tourney misses. Her peak years were fucky tourneys. She was also one of the oddest losses this year. I'd have expected her to beat Rogue but she lost by a wide margin. Doesn't seem like much hope for her now.
>It'd be Amity right?
Yes. She's got a way bigger and older tourney presence too. I also think they could beat a drone or joke pick.
