Sally and the Freedom Fighters are the original /co/ Sonic characters alongside Scratch and Grounder. The only reason why Sticks is still around is because the other members of her team share something in common but alone she isn't that strong.

Decent chance this is my last one, going since 2019 and never getting any of them to E8 in anything is just brutal. Just stuck with bad luck in R4 regardless what contest it is. Since this is the only trios then they reached their peak. Thanks for the support over the years!

It's kind of complicated. I'd too love it happening every 2 years but I'm not sure how the e8 may change considering the amount of characters for a team. If one gets elite 8 you can easily enter it again with another member. I'd say just skip the e8 rule for this one exclusively.

Too heavy on WB, but not exactly a new phenomena. For what it's worth, a lot of the big trios are also just part of some Warner Bros property. Other companies have more diversity with big duos or quartets.

Actual picks range from natural fits to just okay. Freedom Fighters being here sticks out, but they're far from a bad choice. OEL would be less jarring if they weren't the only crossover team here.
