I think it's just the difference in site audience.
Jack went in loved by /v/, did the things /v/ loved him for and won because /v/ already loved all that. Not much tournament specific. But for most people posting in the actual threads that was fine.
/tnt/ is filled with a bunch of specifically autistic anons who really care about tournament specific lore and after last year ended with basically a tourney OC having every star align for their win, having this year's contestants buried under an avalanche of 'CHAOS!' definately caused soreness.

Is this meant to reflect how you think the boards rate the winners? Fang is too controversial to be so high up, and even at /v/ I remember anons talk about Batter's wins more favorably than either Dante or Garland. Nobody thinks badly of Kronk or Betty either, Monarch is the one who gets the most shit.
Other than that this is mostly pretty accurate.

Recette was warmly received at the time, and while there seems to be prevailing sentiment that Madotsuki should have won instead of her, she’s not particularly controversial.

But anyway, I think it’s kind of pointless to make this comparison between how each site perceives the different champions. I would say /tnt/ is actually a very accurate microcosm of the tournament threads: You have a few people seething about Fang just like how people seethed during Ms. /co/; you have anons both defending and making fun of Battler, just like how it went during King /v/; you have people still calling Tom an underwhelming winner; virtually nobody objects to Johnny and Armstrong winning, etc.

It can't happen unfortunately. There were anthro characters back then nominated in Ms. /aco/ and they were deleted by the jannies. However, I did my own research on the subject and found something interesting. There was a Ms. /aco/ in 2019. Not only that, but the thread that had the last poll I found (the one for semifinals) is STILL OPEN TO THIS DAY:

https://desuarchive.org/aco/thread/3513466/#q3514829

What happened here? Was the tournament abandoned? I really can't find more past this but the finalists were Maid Bot, Dog-Mom, Leggy Lamb and Zone-Tan. Leggy Lamb being there also contradicts the rule of not allowing anthro characters in /aco/ so why it was only allowed in 2019?

I also found Tourneymaster's last reply before getting Stats'd. He stated doing Ms. /aco/ again in 2022 but it never happened: https://desuarchive.org/aco/thread/5823880/#q5867632

The results for the final round were these:
First place: Tyr'Ahnee (59.1%)
Second Place: Princess Daisy (40.9%)
Third Place: Shantae (46.5%)
Fourth Place: Wendy (53.5%)

Me too, it's what I've been trying to do with this win pic. I want to do one for 2019 but I really can't find anything about it. I made a thread, a subtle one asking for information but I haven't been lucky enough. Since it's been up for 12 hours I think the jannies at /aco/ don't care that much about tournament things. That's why I was asking so I can step up to make two polls for semifinals and finals for 2019.

As for Ms. /aco/ this year, I don't know man. I wish Coayynon and Samaritanon could do it but I don't want to put too much weight on their shoulders now that they are doing Co-op and Tag-Team tournaments. Tourneymaster managed to do this alone though. If it were to happen I think Ms. /aco/ should stay as an event that happens every two years, to make up for lacking anything for 2020.

Alright this is what I've gathered in the thread at Ms. /aco/. The winner of 2019 was Zone-tan. Maid Robot was 2nd, Leggy 3rd and DogMom 4th. The main reason there is no trace of the results anywhere is because they finished the final rounds on Discord, apparently because the jannies went berserk on them. I asked for the results for they don't have the archives or anything so the only thing I could ask was who were the winners. I have to figure out the 5-8 places now.

Another thing, they are interested on Ms. /aco/ 2023 but wish there was a way to cover 2020 and 2022, the other years Ms. /aco/ wasn't hosted. They suggested a small tournament for each of them or something since Ms. /aco/ is barely active at all and the threads take days to archive.

I do not like these at all.
Not to say you haven't done a great job at editing them but you really didn't capture the boards feel and culture to it. With /co/ and /v/ it can be casual but with /aco/ it is meant to be a lewd board that basically has elements from both /co/ and /v/.

That's weird. I kind of question if 2019 should count at all.

If we don't then that means Tyr'ahnee would be the first Ms. /aco/ winner and the only tournament to cover would be 2022. However, I don't know what the others in the /aco/ thread would think about this. If we proceed with that then we should cover 2022 and 2023 in this year somehow. Anyway, how does it look?

i propose we forget about 2019, it wasn't even done in the same format we usually do.

What's this /aco/ thread you're talking to? Also that's great.

After the /v/ co-op I'll plan a thread for /aco/ tournament discussion (unless someone makes it beforehand). Lay out all the details.
Making up for 2022 seems like an odd situation to me, if that means two tournaments in the same year just a few months apart.

Just do it like that, except 2022 should be quicker. Forget about 2019 and 2020, they weren't made in the same format and the nominees were picked by the host.

Ms. /aco/ is returning? Those are some excellent news! I thought it was over the moment Tourneymaster was nowhere to be found back in October but thank you so much Coayynon for stepping up, it was one of my favourite tournaments back then.
