>Characters must be of /v/ media origin or grandfathered in the main tourneys.
>A single character can be nominated for multiple teams but only one team with that character will qualify.
>Characters cannot be Board-Tans or OC Donut Steels (fangame characters are allowed).
>Teams who reached Elite 8 last year are not eligible, but the characters themselves are for another team.
>Past main tourney winners are allowed but past co-op winners are retired.
>Any character in a team who debuted within the previous month is ineligible to compete.

Miss Faust, I do not mean to doubt your intellect, but I fail to see the practicality of joining this tournament. If anything, it seems more detrimental being here considering the other unsightly characters hanging around. Take for example, the sentient piles of feces.

Thought It'd be fun to make this post before we hop into Round 1 since some people were questioning this very unorthodox paring last year. Here's every DDLC and Baldi's Basics similarity and contrast I can think of!

>Both hail from late 2010's indie games that contain a few spoonsful of horror and satire in it

<Doki Doki's artstyle is heavenly crafted, with hours being poured into nearly every asset on screen. Meanwhile Baldi's looks like the aftermath of a Hippopotamus's lunch and is proud of that

>Both take place in a school setting, afterhours

>Both have an expanded version of their OG game, which is called "___ Plus"

>Both series have a premise-based minigame inbetween gameplay segments that can effect things later down the line (see: picrel)

<Doki Doki's gameplay isn't all that much, since it's a linear visual novel. Meanwhile Baldi's Basics is almost impossible if you don't learn some of the deeper workings of the game's mechanics like Baldi's hearing

>Both games have a girl in it who are easy to upset and are heavily associated with rope

The character didn't even have stable foundation in the first place.
Geralt was part of arguably one of the first large controversies in the /v/ side of the tournaments, with the whitelist and all that bullshit so he was directly tied with NSA in some part.
Then King 2024 happened and bracket autism, jetstream sam post, doctor eggman matchup made Geralt rise in infamy. Co-op 2025 is where Geralt really got the bad reputation, which spiraled downwards with him losing to Tom Nook being the final nail in the coffin.

I have given up on campaigning for Geralt because it was clear the character is a lost cause of ever trying to support in any genuine manner.
