Digimon has a way better chance at /trash/ than /v/ and yet outside Renamon making E8 they don't do as well.

Been thinking about the logistics of the duel Playboys this year and I am seeing some potential downsides we should expect
1. Since they are ran at the same time we should expect a very long time to get given host does the old fashioned way, and now has to do it twice. Like 4 hours at least expectating to get both tournaments results out and bracket set up
2. If there will be enough contestants to make a respectable bracket, mainly regarding the non-furry contest. Think you need at least double the amount who make it in to make a somewhat decent bracket to remove the pure funposts, account for series limits and make a stronger roster, so at least 256 guys. It gets 300+ combined but I really doubt it can get 500 guys between the two tournaments in 24 hours, especially 250 non-furry guys
The one positive is /trash/ has the benefit of as much time as needed unlike the others, so if we needed longer qualifiers or round starts that is not an issue

Unlike his powerhouse role in Mr Daffy feels cemented as an early exiter in Playboy, always qualifying since he has some notable furry appeal (especially in association with Bugs) but not enough to get past round 1-2.

Most people don’t keep track of ages for hundreds of characters but it got by because almost everyone follows the rules so it is sparse. For last year’s qualified guys the only absolute nos were Klonoa and Tails. A handful were questionable or undetermined but could be justified and close to all of them are unquestionable adults.
Even for those who knew (everyone knew about Tails for example), that there was only 2 out of 128 of them meant the odds were very low so people assumed they would be voted out before it was any issue. It only got focused on when it was going to be an issue when it was clear Klonoa was going to win

Yes, that's exactly what the "per /trash/ rules" of that rule means. If it was simply no loli/shota, period, I'd have not included that part, it would be "No Loli/Shota".
The point of this rule is not to ban these characters because they are loli/shota, but to prevent characters that would get people banned from posting them, which on /trash/ is only these characters. Except, it's not all of them, plenty can be posted just fine and don't get people banned, because that rule is really vague and so that's why it's "per /trash/ rules".

Round 1 is really gonna be telling.

Either the normal vanilla safe picks hold their own and this is gonna be a standard big booba tournament, or the fat fetishists and robofags do well in R1 and this turns into largely a war between them and the high ranking vanilla picks

The fatfags have a lot of dedicated diehards who will ride or die with them, probably more than any other kink, but most of them are inherently repulsive to the silent majority who cancel out that strong base. Especially since people aren't even consistent on it, Youngster Joey was nominated in one of the earliest /v/ tournaments(not Youngster as a whole, Youngster Joey), but people act like Hex Maniac is one person and not an entire class of trainer
