I just finished the Final Season....

First of all I want to say something I said to myself about a certain character and that is FUCK YAHYA!! He probably got better development in the manga, in fact I know a lot of plotpoints and characters were dropped for the anime, one of the main plotpoints being Haru's family, but FUCK YAHYA!!

Secondly, if there was a character who got screwed over by the plot, it's Juno.

Other than that I still love this weird series and I hope Beastly Complex gets adapted and whatever projects Paru Itagaki is a part of continues to be hypnotically weird yet entertaining to watch/read.

Alright start at 2016 after Moana where the decline truly started and then go until we get good again.... oh 2021 with Encanto. It's a shame that Encanto and Moana were the only good things produced by Disney during those years. Not even Pixar could carry Disney in terms of quality anymore. Coco was just good and that's about it. Toy Story 5 is already aiming to suck just like 4. In regards to the recent movies in general, the villains sucking (and sometimes not even having a villain at all) affected the quality of the stories as Disney is always well-known by how iconic their villains are and how often they overshadow the heroes in popularity.

It doesn't surprise me really, Disney put too much priority on bastardizing their classic movies through live-actions, some of them going from mediocre to outright horrendous like Mulan 2020. Fortunately, I think the Snow White live-action was the final straw that broke the camel's back and the end of these boring adaptations is coming to an end soon. Maybe not but who knows. As much as I liked Zootopia 2, keeping this trend of the twist villain is already getting old even if they did it right this time with Pawbert and the Lynxleys. Just establish the main villain from start to finish. No more "good guys" later revealed to be the villains all along.

The Jungle Book (2016) was the only decent live-action though

Been thinking about the logistics of the duel Playboys this year and I am seeing some potential downsides we should expect
1. Since they are ran at the same time we should expect a very long time to get given host does the old fashioned way, and now has to do it twice. Like 4 hours at least expectating to get both tournaments results out and bracket set up
2. If there will be enough contestants to make a respectable bracket, mainly regarding the non-furry contest. Think you need at least double the amount who make it in to make a somewhat decent bracket to remove the pure funposts, account for series limits and make a stronger roster, so at least 256 guys. It gets 300+ combined but I really doubt it can get 500 guys between the two tournaments in 24 hours, especially 250 non-furry guys
The one positive is /trash/ has the benefit of as much time as needed unlike the others, so if we needed longer qualifiers or round starts that is not an issue

For last year’s qualified guys the only absolute nos were Klonoa and Tails. A handful were questionable or undetermined but could be justified and close to all of them are unquestionable adults.
Even for those who knew (everyone knew about Tails for example), that there was only 2 out of 128 of them meant the odds were very low so people assumed they would be voted out before it was any issue. It only got focused on when it was going to be an issue when it was clear Klonoa was going to win

There is no reason to nominate one specific instance of a Pokémon when all it does is limit their potential.
Nominating "Gardevoir" means it is any of them, which fits perfectly since many different anons have used them in their teams; it can have any moveset, be shiny, be whatever size, it all works.
Meanwhile, nominating "Wally's Gardevoir", why? Just nominate Wally instead, he's got other Pokémon too and is an actual character. By nominating a specific instance of a Pokémon, you remove all of the qualities of nominating the Pokémon themselves, thus ironically making it less of a character. Regigigas isn't a specific instance either, by the way.

When it comes to nominating a generic character, nominating the best/most popular instance of said generic character is what makes sense.
