So what will happen if Psyanon and Nightshift can't save the tournies?
Will people like Tourney Anon go apeshit and try to fuck up all the boards?
If that is the case...

After the Ms. /co/ disaster, he got significantly better with Mr. /co/. Anons admitted their mains they were rigging lost round 1 in Mr. Just don't let him host the /v/ ones again. He doesn't know videogames.

Nightshift can still hosting the polls and votes but I’d Ballsanon the rights to the rules and management of the characters because he seems more familiar with vidya content.

You know it's irrelevant when they lost, right? Those 2 spots could belong to actual vidya characters but they were mogged. The fact that nightshit just let it slide and refused to listen to people is baffling.

This. These oversights will also effect future tournaments as they are now grandfathered in meaning they can come back anytime now.

If v has the grandfather clause that is. I don't know how the rules work, I'm used to the /co/ tournaments.

/v/ doesn't have the grandfather rule, that's why NightShift was successfully able to fuck X over despite making it into prior tournaments

Nightshift will be waiting until September, just luck at this point
Psyanon has nothing to do with the tournaments, he just helped out Temp that one time because he knew he talked to mods once

To be fair, even if X didn't make it in previously, if he looked at a wiki, he would know X follows all the rules.

I don't get why NightShift is so against implementing a grandfather rule in the /v/ tournaments. He could at least let people vote on it.

He's got this weird vendetta against Miku too. Even after she was whitelisted in the queen poll he made everyone vote for her again.

At this point I'm not sure if NightShift is an unironic autist or if he is just very bad at hiding certain biases. Most likely the former but if the Ms. /co/ fiasco is anything to go by I wouldn’t be so sure.

What if people change their minds? I think there has been at least one case when a rule was voted in only to be voted out in the next tournament.

Reminder the characters who weren't whitelisted succesfully during Queen (like the Madness Combat characters) couldn't be voted for again at the end of King.

...why WERE Madness Combat characters up for debate anyway? Is Nightshift just seriously that unknowing about vidya that he thought they were eligible?

After a month? A little silly. I can see it if one of the new whitelisted king characters raised a lot of controversy during the tournament. But stuff like Miku is simply unnecessary. She hadn't even had a chance to go through a queen run.

Aside from an irregularly-posted /a/ general whose source material is ending soon, the tournaments are the only reason I still use 4chan. If they're gone I'm gone.
