It was an okay tournament, at the same level as Tag-Team, Co-Op, /cov/, Heroes, Villains, etc. A plus4chan tournament ran on 4chan.

I like playboy. Sure, it's not a lot of people. But, it's comfy, it gets a proportionally high amount of OC, and has a lot of good vibes. I don't think something needs to be le ebin hype to be good. Sometimes it's just nice to wind down and have a browser tab open for a couple of hours to enjoy yourself. You don't have to keep up with poopdickschizos, you don't have to damage control falseflags, you don't have to play drama historian for tournaments that happened over two years ago, and you don't have to break your back cranking out 5 pieces of art a round.
You just post your favorite pictures from your spank folder, doodle a cute weiner or bootyhole if you feel like it, and keep your fingers crossed the results turn out good (they do). I think people hating on it (well, people that aren't alienated by gay furry porn that is) are going in with some kind kind of preconceived expectation, instead of just enjoying it for what it is.

Furry unironically gets away with more in that regard, because it's more ambiguous. Take Pepe le Pew for example. Most of the time, he has more or less the same height and proportions as Klonoa or being about three heads tall. But who goes and calls Pepe le Pew Shota? Or what about Morgana? TDM/Sanrio characters? They're even smaller.

Seems like some (myself included) didn't know he was a shota especially when characters like Sonic are kinda ambiguous and the shotafags purposely didn't say anything until finals so those who didn't know anything about Klonoa had no way of knowing.
