Never forget no matter how close this final round was that Goth Chicks had the biggest blowout in a semi-finals round in a /co/ tournament yet by a nearly 14% and that in Elite Eight, they had a 70% blowout against a team that also had a 70% blowout slightly higher than theirs in round 4 and you can't even use the excuse that this is a smaller tournament because 2020 was way snaller and had really close votes most rounds.

Alright, I guess it's time to talk about this.

Neither Coayynon nor I are inherently opposed to the idea of a Co-Op Tournament on /tnt/ sometime in the next months. However, you should know that, just like NSA, our primary board is /co/. Coayynon admits he's not a major /v/fag and won't be working from a great board-cultural understanding. I probably know a little more and have attended the /v/ tournaments, but I'm also not a major /v/ lurker (a good chunk of the suggested teams in the Semi-finals thread mean nothing to me, for instance). If I'm being honest, it would be nice to have someone who's more familiar with /v/ step up to help us host.

Either us or someone else should probably make a separate thread for Co-Op in the future to discuss the whole thing in more detail, plan and gauge enthusiasm.

So, that's how it is for now.

I think it's partially a reaction to Fangang and Jack's Chaosposting utterly dominating the threads and booru since the beginning as well as Zorak winning it all as the lowest /co/ seed winner yet after jobbing round one the previous and his first year with his good campaigning. I feel like in the following years with how things are going, campaigning will be looked more down upon and characters with great campaigning that generally do well will get spitevoted out earlier. Maybe that will be the Ms. /co/ controversy this year with threads dedicated to trashing on OC.

I actually like the idea of the 2023 tournament being a Triple Team edition. But we'll have to wait and see. I don't know if there are even enough non-literally who teams to warrant it.

Pretty much everyone was pissed besides Total Drama fans, the Renagades and Scratch and Grounder fans (though Scratch and Grounder fans were pretty quiet before that). A thing to point out about your post is the assumption that every person angry will post their teams that lost. That whole thread was pissed.
