Ms/Mr. /co/ World CupAnonymous

Here's the basic idea: An tournament with contestants who have qualified at least once in the main tournaments.

>Qualification

To qualify, the contestant must have been part of the Elite Eight in any of the eight preciding tournaments. In case one of them has been part of an Elite Eight more than once, I'll hold a round with the rest of the contestants outside of the Elite Eight just to get the exact number of contestants for the tournament.

>Structure

64 Contestants. Seed Ranking round followed by Group Stage followed by normal brackets round.

>Seed Ranking

As I don't want anything regarding randomization in the tournament, the Seed Ranking will be used to group the other 48 contestants in their respectives groups. The 1st and 2st places in the eight main tournaments don't participate in this round, their already the head of their own groups.

>Group Stage

16 Groups with 4 contestants each. The 2 most voted in them advance to the brackets round, in case of a draw, their broken by their performance in the Seed Ranking round.

>Bracket

Normal bracket round. Round of 32 to Finals.

>Date

I'll plan to hold it in May or June 2026 at Max for Ms. and 2027 for Mr. . It will happen every 8 years.

That's a basic summary of what I plan with the tournament. I'll talk more later.

Oh, I also forgot to say that the tournament still needs a name. I would appreciate some suggestions...

I'd wait on anything like this until we had a full 128 from all tournaments. We've got to be getting close right?

16 from the main /co/, soon to be 14 from the main /v/, soon to be 12 from main /mlp/ that's 42 total. 12 from tag team and 6 from Co-Op that's 60 total. Another 7 from the one-offs is 67. Include Playgirl, /his/ and /an/ is up to 9 so 76. Plus another 8 or 9 from side tournaments on /co/.

We've got about 90 right now, by the time /mlp/ reaches it's 8th year in two years we'll have about 120 and can fill the last couple of spots with older tournaments (SaiGAR, or stuff like Cartman winning Biggest Douche).

Wasn’t crowning a grand champion of sorts the point of all-stars? What would winning this be?

This is also a good idea, but I still want to this also with only /co/ characters. When /v/ also gets a complete Elite Eight, I'll also hold one for Qo/v/ and Ko/v/.

>>212806
This would be more of a "expansive" champion of /co/. While All-Stars is more focused on crowning the ultimate winner of all winners of /co/, this one would be more about crowning the ultimate winner of this current gen of contestants of /co/. When All-Stars gets it's second edition in the next 8 years forward, it will be expanded to 16 contestants tournament, including the next 8 winners of the new gen /co/, while the /co/ world cup would still remain a 64 contestants tournament, with the next gen of /co/ Elite Eight already qualfied, with the previous having to go through the qualifiers rounds like the rest of the contestants.

I think we should use the confederation system: one for E8 members and the other one for the other main bracketers.

This is kinda messy. Like, if a prior main winner wins then it feels boring and like a subversion of all stars if it isn't Frankie/whoever wins Mr. all stars. If a non-main winner wins it feels inappropriate. Like would we really start calling Velma/Pauling/Kim/ect. the "ultimate winner of this current gen"?
