I'm just gonna say this, the finals will be very anticlimactic. On one side, you have two okay teams and on the other side, you have a team that's barely anything fitting for either board and the other is still very silent. It's extremely obvious who's going to win this tournament.

Hello and welcome to the quarterfinals of the exciting 2025 /cov/! We are now reaching tournament's conclusion folks, with just only two rounds ahead, but we're still not done just yet! The road to victory is paved with destruction and willpower, and a whole bunch of nonsense. With only eight teams left, only four will be able to enter the semifinals. Let's see our matches, shall we?

At match 1, Puss dashes between powerful tail swings as his rapier slashes across the larger Fang’s thick hide, causing her to stumble backwards. Meanwhile, Meta Knight teleports mid-air and clashes his Galaxia with the smaller Fang, who counters with her claws. The larger Fang charges with her jaw wide open, forcing Puss to somersault over her and landing on her back as he hitches a ride. The T-rex mother tries to shake the little kitty off her, but Puss is still hanging on! Meanwhile, the smaller Fang adapts quickly as she reads into Meta Knight’s attack patterns. With a feint, she ducks under a Galaxia slash and counters with a powerful headbutt, sending Meta Knight skidding across the battlefield. It is battle of swords and primitive rage, but who will make it out alive?

At match 2, Lazy and Meen have come up with the best plan to defeat their opponents: Meen opens with a massive spell the warps the battlefield into a chaotic labyrinth, while a monster-disguised Robbie tries scare the pants off of Dreams Don't Die. However, the fighters aren't not easily frighten by their first-grade levels of spookiness as Cyclops fires an Optic Blast which blew a hole straight through Meen’s illusions while Ryu focuses his energy and counterattacks Robbie with a Shoryuken that sends the lazy villain flying across the stage. However, Robbie springs into action by using oversized springs and charges towards the street fighter. Meen floats above the battlefield and summons waves of enchanted books towards Cyclops who fires rapid beams at the incoming books, but they keep on coming! It's magic vs brawns, but which one will prevail?

At match 3, Eddy immediately pulls out a fake “Game Reviewer’s Cheat Code Book” and throws it in front of AVGN, who quickly opens it, only for it to literally blow up in his face. Before he can react, Wario delivers a massive shoulder bash that sends the angry nerd flying. Meanwhile, Nostalgia Critic is caught in an absolute nightmare after eddy traps him in a battlefield littered with bootleg movie tapes and fake pre-order bonuses. Eddy throws down a "Limited-Time Offer" sign, but the movie critic shot it down with his shotgun and kicks the scammer across the battlefield. AVGN pulls out a SNES scope and fires towards Wario, who quickly dodges it and throws his partner towards him as he stumbles to the ground. Nostalgia Critic tries to help his partner, but Eddy smacks him in the head with VHS of a bad movie. The battle is an absolute mess of scams and fury, but who will outlast the insanity?!

At match 4, Speed Force Zone across the battlefield while delivering rapid attacks from every direction. Ganondorf swings his massive sword, but the strikes hit nothing but air. Flash delivers a hundred punches at the dark lord in a second, but Ganondorf doesn’t budge. Sonic tries a Spin Dash, but Ruber counters with a massive sword slam which creates a shockwave that throws him off balance. After a while, Ganondorf finally connects as he delivers a single Malice-powered punch that sends Flash crashing into a wall. Sonic signals Flash as they start running in a vortex pattern, generating a massive tornado that lifts The Conquerors off their feet and spins them all over the place! The battle is now a test of unstoppable power versus uncatchable speed, but who will win this battle of opposites?

Just like we said, only four teams will make it to the semifinals. Who will survive? Who will fall? And who will get cucked out of a victory? Vote now!
