During the Queen of /v/ finals, there was a vote on if non-vidya characters should be allowed in. There were three options: Yes, Yes but only 3 can qualify, and No. Even though No got the most amount of votes, the former two combined got slightly more, so NightShift decided to allow 3 non-vidya characters to qualify, which might just be the most retarded thing he's done.

I'd be honored! The finale show is more or less written and fully produced by the time it's announced. As soon as the Final Fight is confirmed, I make two shows, and just insert the precise numbers once they're confirmed. Done properly, I'd be able to have the show fully released within 15 minutes of getting the numbers, and that's just me being cautious; it would likely happen far sooner.

I try as best as I can to maintain my impartiality. Even if I did, I'd not mention it. Since nobody's perfect though, I did have one character that I'd hoped would move up the ranks, but they're no longer in the running. Let the sleuths try to figure out who it is if anybody thinks that matters, hah!

The biggest truth of the matter is that, for a lot of these characters, I've never heard of them before. That makes it particularly hard for me to make meaningful jokes, especially when they have to pair off with another character that's equally unknown to me. A lot of my writing time is spent doing research on these characters. Looking up personality traits, significant actions, common memes, etc. As far as my knowledge base runs for the tournaments I do, it's as follows, from best understood to least:

Queen /v/

And that massive gap is because an overarching number of Queen /v/ contestants come from visual novels, which just isn't a genre of video game I play or have a deep familiarity with.
