95% of the nominess are meme picks, such as people who worked on the show, characters that are associated with the shows (Dan from Dan VS, The TF2 mercenaries, even Batman and Eggman at one point), and significant bronies.

That's not true. There are currently 154 nominations and according to my estimations roughly 100 of them are characters from the show. Fucking retarded normies refusing to see nuance and always resorting to hyperbole.

After this year's mr. /mlp/, I can safely crown it as the shittiest tournament out of them all. It has all the worst things from both the male and the female tourneys.

The mini-brackets were a pretty cool idea, but they weren't enough to salvage just how dull this whole thing has been. Next time you complain about /co/ or /v/ tournaments keep in mind that it could always be this.

King Haggard is a fantastic winner given the board we are talking about, though I wasn’t aware of his "meme" status on /mlp/. Was the rest of the tournament truly that bad despite of this?
