Ever since the first /an/ tournament I’ve had this out there theory that T Rex’s in general are very powerful in tournaments.
>Fang got 3rd place in her debut, only losing to the winner with cancellation boost by 9 votes
>Fang won on her second attempt
>T rex got the runner up position in the /an/olympics, after defeating several of the top 5 seeds unexpectedly
>in 2022 tournament discussion on /v/ the consensus on Fang winning Ms was “wow /co/ actually made a good choice for once”

It makes me wonder how /v/ would handle a T. rex qualifying.

T. Rex is the embodiment of “Overrated but also the GOAT”.

When they first see the character or animal, they don’t really think much of it. They think it is another generic character or dinosaur much like any other. But once you actually look deeper, you find out they fucking rock. T. Rex was the largest carnivorous land predator of all time, alongside the strongest bite force, best eyesight and one of the best smelling ability out of any animal. It also lived in the Hell Creek formation and had to contend with the likes of Triceratops, Anklyosaurus, Alamosaurus and Edmonotosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, etc.. All of them were icons in their own right, but T. Rex managed to fend off and hunt them.

Same with Fang, at first she just looks like a generic cartoon dinosaur until you watch primal. Then she becomes one of the deepest characters that never utters a single word. She suffered and felt pain, she then found comfort in Spear who also experienced the same pain as her despite being two separate species. They then fucking team up, a caveman and a t. Rex going apeshit on a prehistoric landscape. How does someone not find it awesome?

You can blame Jurassic Park for this.

T. rex was super famous since it was discovered in the early 1900’s. Jurassic park used it because it was already famous.

Nope, just another shitty FOTM winner for Ms, which is par for the course. And /co/ made plenty of good choices, just look at Mr..

The last few times you “called them out” you replied to several different people. Not everyone is your boogeyman.
