She's just gonna show up and pretend nothing happened to try and at least control Ms /co/ before she's gone for good, unless she completely ghosted everyone because she's cut herself off from 4chan tournaments entirely there's no other explanation for why she chose not to drop a pastebin, there's been more than enough threads on /co/ for her to remain ignorant about the countdown to her removal.

Intent and severity, anon.
Nobody gives a fuck when an anvil is dropped on Tom in Tom and Jerry because everything about it is unrealistic, jokey, and cartoony.
Even if the anvil is objectively worse than the muzzle, no people don't generally drop anvils on cats and when they do they don't turn into a funny little walking pancake. They would die, horrifically. But real animals are shoved into cages or muzzles out of cruelty, and with the constant posting and taunting she clearly wanted to evoke said taunting. If "In the arms of the angels" was playing in the threads it'd be some Humane Society propaganda.
Just like nobody (at least, if you aren't Antroon) gives a fuck if characters like Megumin or Etna make your dick hard, but the stuff Aerd proudly shows off in the drawthreads repulses even the most degenerate /v/ users.
It's ultimately down to taste, if there's a line not to cross with the fictional stuff NSA detonated Tsar bomba at said line

Alright, here's a WIP of what's going on so far. Even just as a sketch it takes a long time with so many characters. This SHOULD be every /v/ winner and runner-up, as you can see there's a sizable empty space so I'd like to include a few E8 characters as well. Please tell me if I missed someone (I didn't miss Hornet, she's small and next to Grimm)The only exceptions I have are Kirby (I thought him downing an entire beer mug was funny), Waluigi (WAH sticks together, I'm not having Wario without Waluigi) and a single red pikmin (it's little enough to fit anywhere and is funny) I definitely want Travis Touchdown and Rayman as inclusions if only I personally liked their games, I'm open to suggestions for other E8 characters people want to see in. AM will only work if I extend the picture sideways JUST for him because he's THAT large, but it's totally doable. Otherwise I can't imagine any other E8 character that would be an issue, go at it.

That’s exactly how NSA manipulated her picks like Wuya to winning and how it naturally reduced the voter base (like in Mr /co/ 2023) that could have prevented that.

You’re being retarded on purpose right? Randomized seeding is meant to protect the campaign heavy very low seeds who’d instantly get blown out by a heavy hitter first round so they have time to artificially build their campaign, especially if they get lucky and face other 100 seeders. It’s a prop up that benefits the Black Hats of the world and cowards don’t want to change it so they can avoid their earned round 1 matchups against Hank or Courage

Whitelist was also forced by NSA even though AMfags wanted a grandfather cause rule instead. When used in King 2022 however, it sparked controversy when characters like Christopher Robin beated popular picks and everyone begged for a Loser's Bracket which then happened in Queen 2023. It created a huge disaster once it happened after the finals and we wasted two extra days just for matches that should've never been part of the main tournaments. Hell, we couldn't get an afterparty because we dragged the tournament for too long.
Whitelist itself is one huge domino effect that brought nothing but shit into these tournaments and it's clear that NSA was planning this from the beginning just to get her retarded ideas in the tournaments.

Literally never happened. Again, this is something NSA forced herself. She and Balls discussed the possibilities of implementing a double elimination bracket waaaay before the Christopher Robin/Battler drama, this is something Balls even explained in his pastebin.
My point is that we would have had a Loser's Bracket with or without a whitelist, the issue lies entirely upon NSA as a host, once again. There was no domino effect here.

Come to think of it, is there an actual reason why NSA didn't want a simple Grandfather clause for /v/?

>Whitelist itself is one huge domino effect that brought nothing but shit into these tournaments and it's clear that NSA was planning this from the beginning just to get her retarded ideas in the tournaments.
While I don’t mind certain whitelist picks on paper, I have to wonder if this idea partially came from her just not having enough experience in dedicated vidya. Her taste was clearly incredibly casual, with Bayonetta somehow being the most “niche” she got. (Hell, did she ever even mention playing her games?)

Do hope we can just implement a grandfather clause this year and be done with it.

For the record I am completely neutral on the randomized vs traditional debate, we could go either way and I would not care, though to me the appeal of random isn't "triple digit seems are doomed to job" if nothing else since the aforementioned examples clearly show otherwise, it's more just the completely random aspect of it with any matchup being possible to happen at any point. But like I said if we switched to traditional right now I would lose no sleep over it either.

Same with the vote link in OC anchor, and I suspect randomization and series winner limiting as well. Basically NSA samefagging a tiny bit and getting it on the poll or just straight up implementing it cause the other hosts deferred to her as leader and didn't care to debate anything.

What if we make the bracket semi-randomized? Do a system where you protect the top 8 seeds and place them into separate sections, and then randomizing everyone else around them. This way the top seeds still get a bit of a reward for placing high, and it'll still preserve most of the chaos from randomization and give low seeds a better chance.

I'm pretty sure that was more the exception than the rule in Queen 2023's first round. Hosts could have even just really oversold Mado's chances of winning that.

Wario and Eggman on the same eighth of the bracket was also fucked, but I'm pretty sure that was the only insane case in King?

>>124854
Yup, I can see that. It can really depend WHO seeds at the top, but having a guaranteed kill for one at the start could be argued as going too far. As pointed out already, they're not opposed to having a couple top seeds face off at least in a single instance. Might just depend on the extremity or it happening too much early on.

Even more retarded idea, how about we just randomize each brackets matchups within their own.
In a normal seeding tournament seed 1 and 128 will always be a match up in Bracket A in round 1, seeds 64 vs 65 will also always happen in bracket A, so will seed 32 vs seed 97, seed 33 vs seed 96, etc.
In this new version of randomizing the tournament the seeds will still be in their own respective just like normal seeding brackets but the matchups would be randomized. For example in pic rel seed 17 could be up against seed 65 or seed 48 in the first round depending on what was randomized for that bracket.
This version of randomization makes it so that the #1 and #2 seeds arent against each other in round one as they'll still be in their separate brackets, but this version also gives the #128 seed a chance as the next highest seed after them in their bracket is seed 113.

Any final tweaks before c;eanup? I'm personally happy with this. I could fit one more E8 character between Roll and Kiryu, but you'd only see their back so they'd need a recognizable back like Rayman or Demi-fiend. Shantae? Glados could be shrunk, but then that comes at the risk of whoever is next to Amaterasu blocks her too much

Maybe John Ward? Would account for all the top 4 from King 2023, and he'd be incredibly distinct for obvious reasons.

Scout might fit as a recurring elite and to give TF2 some attention here.

If neither of those work out, you could also be humorous and throw Old Snake in there slouching over the table. Actually, on further thought that might be the funniest idea even if it means three Metal Gear guys.

And I do again need to apologize for my shitty attitude, I can't excuse it. I'll stick around a little longer in case anything needs to be drawn, then take a good long break from /tnt/ and work on myself. I do have a goofy comic idea for the colors tournament but after that I should be gone. But I think things have the potential to really turn around for the better, we have a common enemy no longer harassing us, the original two rpgmaker alliance bros have finally been laid to rest, and Ms /co/ is starting to learn to calm down.

Forms were opened up until Zorak, so anyone up to Mr. /co/ 2022 can't be retconned in any good faith. I wouldn't retcon anyone, but that's the bare minimum here. Midna and Wuya were the only two winners during that later period who had any known bias from NSA, but I would pin both on the voters.

I can definitely say Shirley was but Nicole is hard to say she was a rigged pick when NSA said she only found round 4 suspicious about her results and nothing else. If anything I believe Nicole just happened to have an extra push during the elite 8 because the ENA tranny meme was taking over every single thread.

Nicole was basically Johanna but even less impressive as Johanna at least had some fanfare, Nicole had literally just one guy that posted some cat porn and got banned near the end. Maybe the worst semifinalist ms. /co/ has had.

Have people here watched a single episode of Gumball? I wouldn't say Nicole is the pinnacle of animated characters but there are plenty of reasons out there that can perfectly justify her 4th place run. Definitely a more respectable pick than Dexter's Mom or that stock Glen Keane MILF from Big Hero 6 (lol).

You can say the same thing about the show Hilda, and Johanna, who is a decent likable character from a good show, yet they still get dunked on when talking about toruneys.
Thing is Nicole's run was just very weird. She a pretty new toon and was basically a non-entity in the tourneys and cruised her way to semi's (including over the 'classic powerhouse' pick Frankie in the notorious R3) amid a bunch of furry rigging accusations with no support besides a temporary porn poster. If it wasn't rigging then I guess it's ms. /co/ meta weirdness, but either way the run didn't feel like anything real or like anything that should've logically happened, like Johanna's (though again at least Johanna had a lot of vocal support).
In fact this discussion right now is probably the most attention Nicole's ever gotten in a tourney context.

Gumball isn't that new. I feel like most of the attention was driven to NSA's claims about rigging. It's why I feel some characters like Tyr'ahnee just happened to lose despite being so close and Chel sleeping to that point. Also like that anon stated, Nicole could have lost against ENA had it not been because some faggot was pushing this hard for the tranny accusation.
