What is this?
Tamers12345 is an artist with a single burning passion: the revival of the hit TV series Sonic Underground. Empowered by his love of SU and Bardonic (Bartleby x Sonic), Tamers has been working tirelessly for over a decade to raise the popularity of SU and force Sega to continue the show. Tamers' continuation of SU takes the form of animations released fortnightly that follow the cast's ongoing adventures. Tamers' continuation has been described as a mix between Always Sunny (where everyone's an asshole yet still likeable) and The Venture Bros (with its surprisingly deep lore and a running theme of the present not living up to the expectations of the past).

Is Tamers being ironic?
No. Tamers has been making videos since 2010, and has hundreds of hand-drawn SU comics dating back to the early 00s.

Are the fans ironic?
Also no. While most of us started watching it out of morbid curiosity, we came to love the characters and their struggles. The lore of SU is also surprisingly deep, with some plot points developing slowly over several years.

Okay, but how do I get into it?
Just watch a few of his recent longer videos to see if it's something you're into. Unfortunately, Tamers had his YouTube taken down so the best way to watch now is to look through the the Tamers Archive.

Why is everyone talking about My Little Pony? What is a Dandy's World?
In May 2024, Tamers released Sonic Underground X My Little Pony： Bardonic is Magic, which introduced the SU cast to the world of MLP. Since then, MLP has been spun into its own independent side series that's revitalized the MLP fandom and drawn in a large viewership.
In October 2025, Tamers released Dandy’s World： The Movie – Dandy’s Crazy House Party! For those not familiar, it's a "Mascot Horror Survival Multiplayer game where you must team up with fellow Toons to complete machines and descend deeper into Gardenview Center". The Dandy's World episodes have yet to cross over with the other shows, and have brought in an even larger viewership.
SU appears to be mostly on the backburner for now, although we have had one episode so far this year, and Tamers has assured us that he intends to continue the series.

So who is Tamers really?
A small number of people seem to fixate on just who the guy inside the cardboard Bartleby costume is. The answer is he's just a guy that really likes Sonic Underground. Unrelatedly, it is interesting that no one has never seen Tamers and Black Butler mangaka Yana Toboso in the same place at the same time 🤔

Why would anyone be hyped for this? Do you not remember how terrible the last two Underground x Pony crossovers were? 90% of the focus is going to be on gay pony drama like always.

The best crossover we’ve had between Sonic Underground and MLP. It’s not perfect but the whole thing wasn’t completely derailed by toxic gay drama like the last two crossovers were.
Highlights were Bartleby as always, Flora having some spotlight, and the DB characters as a whole. Goku doing a Kamehameha shotgun blast and Vegeta doing his dialogue in an AI voice cracked me up. If we weren’t stuck in pony paypig purgatory still I would hope to see more Dragon Ball.
Bad parts are on the ponies as usual. Flawless is still super bueno and not in a funny way. That plot dump at the end was completely useless, boring, and had nothing to do with the rest of the video.

Still a solid 8/10. Way better than the crap he usually puts out now.

Yeah, I really liked it. Bartleby propelling his bitch around the arena with gold nuggets was classic SU, and anime-esque techniques like that really crack me up. Twilight picking her team based on wanting a nice color scheme with her in the middle was pretty funny too

I’ve noticed he likes adding these things to the ends of the big event-driven episodes. I guess it’s to signal it’s not the end and that there’ll be more lore to come later?
