i may embellish the design a bit, every artist does it

the reason i do this is due to my artistic preference and sometimes i feel that something is lost when you stick to closely to the model, im speaking in general.

Some characters werent designed to be aesthetically pleasing nude, this is subjective but it's my point of preference.

some cartoon proportions are weird or they are too simple in some parts. i might attempt to nomalize or add detail while staying faithful to the style.

if i need to throw caution to the wind and attempt something
more solid then so be it.

This. That's what I want from a talented artist like you after all, not an edit from show itself.
I think every artist should put his own style on characters but still keeping some important features tho: if you draw Gwen at least make her face and hair recognizables and for her body keep her flatness

that said, even if you draw her with some more appealing features but keeping somehow your style it's a sure bet

so while your last works give us a naughty loli goddess you still managed to keep her image and she looked amazing

I think incog does this but in a very subtle way: he neither compromises on Gwen's build or mannerisms. So the sexiest parts of her anatomy (her ass mostly) may be slightly curvier than they are on the show, but everything else, from the way she stands/ behaves and the flatness of every line on her body remains true, so you barely even notice the changes.

It's all about proportions. The viewer subconsciously takes note if a character's limbs are thicker or if their hips are wider than how they appear on the show. There's a millisecond where they try and figure out these discrepancies. Then their brains assess if they like it or not. Usually they think 'Gwen Tennyson > Face..accurate.. good >boobs.. flat.. so far so good >big ass.. hell yeah!'. Then they probably take note of the line work and colors then judge that. It all happens in a blink of an eye when they first see the image. I guess the process is quicker with Incog's, where you immediately jump to 'I like this' because there are no discrepancies to figure out. It's what you ordered and you get it with his delivery with no flaws.
