So with my old thread above 700 posts it has become quite bothersome to post on/keep up with on this mobile device. As such, although I sadly do not have a thread starter ready I would like to make a new place to post here. So I am, and it's here. The long since deceased thread can be found at >>196421.

To start off I finished the March Jade piece yesterday. I could not post it last night because I was getting an error from this site. I also redid the Penny piece's background as I decided to stick with a seasonal outdoors theme to go with the seasonal outfits, just to better indicate the seasonal theme. Also going to try and stick with flatter backdrops to keep it simple and to try and keep with the props/studio look. I will also post the Penny piece in 30 minutes or so since it always takes a little bit of time before these threads actually post.

Lastly, I just want to note this is pretty much just an update thread. Updating my Patreon on this device is beyond my patience so I want somewhere I can do so. I will be able to read comments, but responding on this device is a pain so unless it's a somewhat important question or concern directed at me then I will not be too likely to respond.

Here are the colors for the 2-page Toph piece. Took forever to get colors on this damn thing. The difficulty of getting privacy on the weekend did not help. Didn't really get to update yesterday for that reason as well as the fact that this was technically two colored pages as opposed to one colored drawing. Also, I hate adding sweat.

Also also, at the person asking, I do not currently do commissions, as tempting as doing something of the sorts is with how crappy things are going right now.

Incog I'm wondering if it's possible for you to do a team portrait where they're interacting in a tighter shot, sorta like they are here >199403 but maybe in panoramic landscape now that there are twice the number of girls. They've been spaced so evenly in your last few thread starters which is a perfect way of showing that they're equals, although a tighter frame could spotlight certain girls depending on the theme of the piece which would showcase their varied, contrasting personalities in subsequent team portraits, while bringing us closer to the action.

So one more random sketch because it's been too long since I have done Sokka and Katara. I know I said I would do colors now but I have been so busy that by the time I got to it I figured I would be too tired to stay awake through colors. Sketches are more amusing to do so they're easier to force through right now.

I also have a status update. I have been approved to move to a new location early next week. Doing so will of course take time, so I may stick with popping out sketches for a few more days while I get things situated. This should be my final move for at least the next 12 months. Once I am moved I will be getting internet access as soon as possible and hopefully finally be more active again.

I try to use values that look better with the source's skin tones, but I primarily use a purple (#b384aa) like in the Ben/Penny piece of a more muted reddish brown (#7e3232) like in the Toph piece. I used the more reddish value in the Toph piece because Fire Nation ships tend to have red-orange lighting, so I figured it would be the better shadows for the lighting. I tend to use the shadow value on a multiply layer linked to the flats at 50% opacity.

And... who do you exactly think you are? Let's make things clear. Incognitymous didn't tell you to color his work. He simply said that he didn't mind what people did with his pictures, because he is more matured than most people.

Ultimo takes incog's pictures and edits them. You take incog's pictures and edit them. You don't have more rights than him, so you would be basically at the same level. The difference is that, where ultimo adds his weird disgusting stuff, he never insults anyone. You want to use someone else's work to flame a troll, therefore I'd say that technically, even if ultimo's works are disgusting, you are way under his level.

Don't feed the troll. If you don't like something, don't click on it but if you begin with the flames you are no different that those antiloli art guys.

So just giving a status update. Sadly no drawing time today. Sadly the same will be true of tomorrow, as well as the day after. Hopefully come Friday I will be fully moved, but there have been some obnoxious complications getting in the way. I may have lied again since I will probably want to do another sketch when I can draw again. After 3+ days of not being able to touch my tablet I know I will want to do something new.

Also, in hopes of preventing too much conflict, I do not mind exits/colorations. While I am unsure regarding this Ultimo, Xardius explicitly asked permission to color my work prior to doing so, both through WWOEC and, as one of my first patrons, through Patreon. I didn't mind where he posted it, but only requested not to post in my threads here and/or at WWOEC. It's not that I minded it's just that people that browsed my stuff through these venues didb't want to have to sift through it all. While he adhered and made his own place to post it, keep in mind that anything posted will probably find its way here either through people that legit like what they see or by someone putting it here just because others do not want it here.

Ultimo could be someone that likes what he makes and wants to share it. He could also just be a troll that posts justs to bother people. There is no way to tell on that, and ultimately it doesn't really matter. The only thing I can say for sure is that Xardius colors the works because he likes doing so and that he is courteous about it. Just keep in mind that while many people do not like Ultimo's stuff, he could very well be doing the same.

So here is the aforementioned sketch that again turns me into a liar. Decided to do a follow-up of the other 2 page Katara/Sokka piece that I felt like doing. As for a status update I really do not feel like typing everything on this tiny device's keypad but sadly things did not go well. I will cover just the main points.

Apparently I have to take this complex to court again because they pulled an incredibly illegal stunt to prevent our move. Luckily I mentioned to the management at the place we were moving to that such a thing could happen since we were leaving due to winning a court case against them for sketchy stuff they were already doing. Luckily after being informed of this they made sure to document all interaction with them so we have evidence of this incident, which was a direct violation of the previous order as well as downright illegal as hell. Sadly, even with a prior court order as well as prior warning that such a thing would happen, our approval was revoked at the last moment because credit/insurance companies are run by subhumans. My moving plans got changed into battles and legal consultations, which will be going very much in our favor. On the plus side, I am getting internet soon regardless. When the legal battle is over we have a guaranteed moving location so I am not worried anymore about entering a service contract anymore. I will be trying to make the call for service tomorrow.

I actually had a discussion with someone on WWOEC about that before it died. I had wanted to do some things with some teen/older characters, with Teen Titans/Totally Spies mentioned. Sadly shortly after the discussion is when things went downhill for me so I have had trouble finding the time to do so, especially since Patreon requests have not been going that direction. Coincidentally, with my lack of Internet to amuse me while I eat meals at home someone has given me some of the DC animated movies to watch, among some other things, so maybe I will prioritize checking them out.

Here is page 2 of the comic in color. This thing takes so damn long to color but it's getting there. Also, I made minor adjustments to page 1, mainly to fix some minor things I noticed while it was open for color sampling. Also, as for a status update on the whole internet thing, it's being a pain. My ISP options here are terrible so it is taking a little longer than hoped. I have to buy a modem and will not be able to do so until Friday, after which I will likely have to wait for shipping before I can have service activated. Luckily I can do a self-installation so I should be able to activate immediately once it arrives, but with how stupid things have been I feel life is going to find a way to further delay it.

So here are colors for page 4 of the current comic. Said it once and I'll say it again, but damn do these take a long time to color. Sorry for the lack of an update yesterday, but I spent the day getting internet up as soon as possible. I went out and got the equipment to do a self-install and just had to get my new ISP to activate the service, but sadly the person that set me up messed up every step of the process. When I called back for the final activation the errors were discovered through an annoying troubleshooting process and it ended up taking 3+ hours on the phone, getting transferred to a million departments, to get everything figured out/resolved to finish a 5 minute process. Regardless, internet is now up and I will finally be more active in discussion.

I will be making any necessary adjustments to my gallery over at Jab after I submit this and then getting my Patreon up-to-date. A special thanks out to my patrons that stuck around through all of this mess. While everything here is not completely resolved, I can finally start updating my Patreon again. I was not able to update it along with here and my gallery due to several issues I received trying to use Patreon on my mobile browser. I figured it was not worth the time investment and that the time would be better spent drawing to update where I could access with less hassle.

With how much trouble this has been giving me I am really far behind on what I would like to do for my patrons. Now that I can readily access my requests/reference materials online I will be trying to crunch out a lot of requests. Sadly this means I may have to push back making a full thread starter another month or so since current time restraints could make finishing one take several days. Just pushing out a page of colors is a full day right now so doing a 9+ character image from scratch in full color could be pushing the limit a bit. As such I may have to do what I did this month and just use the upcoming calendar piece to post a new thread. As much as I would like to use a larger scale thread starter each time, these threads are dying much faster than I could possibly make such starters for anyway. At least doing this will prevent these threads from reach 700 posts and falling a couple pages back before I renew.

I have nothing against Steven Universe. I can definitely appreciate the style, but it just doesn't seem very crossover capable without some work. I am fine with some adjustment, but Connie's facial structure would require a complete revamp in my mind if she were to be placed next to the other girls. I feel even Juniper Lee would require less modification than Connie would. I actually like Connie, as well as Peridot once her equipment was removed and she really started to develop as a character. There is a good chance of some Steven Universe eventually, just not likely in a crossover form.

Yeah, it's surprising how difficult it can prove. Just putting in dialogue that doesn't sound too unnatural is more difficult than people would think. The problem with titles for me personally is that I don't want them to be too much to the point, and I also kind of want them to cleverly be to the point without having to use blatant terms. I would personally like to stick with a title that leaves a little to the imagination after being further expanded upon by the cover image. Like in the Power Pack comic I did, I kind of liked "Rough Riding" because it wasn't very descriptive, which then allows the cover image itself to better elaborate the title's meaning.

For current examples, I kind of like things like the most recent suggestions, "Dream Tag Team". It sort of utilizes the "Dream Team" phrase, while referencing to the fact that the main character is dreaming (about being tag teamed). Wet Dream Team is close, but I feel that "Dream Tag Team" does a slightly better job of not being too much to the point. "Dream Team" leaves a little more room for interpretation than just coming out and saying "Wet Dream".

Just taking a break from the comic to do this month's calendar. For April, as some have already guessed, it's Toph. The outfit may receive some modification as I just went with it without any forethought and went with the first thing that came out. If I keep it as is I may add some shoulder modification to make for a more vest with an undershirt type deal as that seems a pretty common look in Avatar. I mainly just wanted to keep a casual spring theme, but also wanted to keep in mind that Toph is a rich girl from the Avatar universe so the outfit is slightly different than the other characters have worn thus far. Should I keep with that type of theme or go a more modern seasonal look? I have some rearranging of stuff to do tomorrow but as soon as that's all done I will try and line/color this up to start a new thread then move back on to the comic.

I prefer doing comics right now as well, but I like doing images with a lot of characters from time to time, plus I really want to finish the theme the thread starters were going. Admittedly, with everything going on, I just don't feel I have the energy right now for a full thread starter image of my usual scale so I figure it's best to not wrap up the current theme with rushed, unmotivated quality. Add the fact that I've had a request post up for 4 months now that I have been barely able to touch I feel I don't quite have the time for extra projects right now until I put a huge dent in that.
