My personal guess is that he is about to destroy that ship Leia is in, but is unable to do it. Snoke gets somebody else to kill her, which makes Kylo switch sides.

Also, why are hiding these wild guesses behind spoiler tags?

I doubt it. Remember they finished principle photography and reshoots before Carrie Fisher passed away. Given she was supposed to have a big role in IX it's unlikely they could rework the plot to have her die.

They HAVE to rework the plot that way.

>The trailer also gives viewers a fleeting but emotional moment with General Leia, who looks as if she may be in the literal crosshairs of her vengeful son Kylo Ren. The Last Jedi marks the final performance of actress Carrie Fisher, who passed away before shooting could commence on Episode IX. According to Johnson, who considered fellow screenwriter Fisher “one of my heroes,” the actress went to great lengths to make sure that Leia’s every moment was true to the character she had created in A New Hope.

>“She was so conscious of the place that Leia had, not just broadly in the culture, but very specifically in terms of girls who grew up watching Star Wars when Leia was the only female hero on the screen,” Johnson says. “She really wanted to do right by that, drawing the character forward. That was something that she would always be pulling us back to. And for me it was fantastic, because besides all the other benefits of having a fantastic writer like Carrie there by my side while we’re making this movie, just having a voice that was like a compass needle that would always pull it back in the right direction of, This is what this character means and this is what we always have to make sure that she’s serving, with her strength and also with her weaknesses — showing a fully realized character who is going to be inspiring to the folks who grew up with Leia.”

I wonder if being upset about child actors is something that goes down a dial or two, as you start to have children of your own, and notice that's just how most of them talk.

New Maul cartoon announced at Star Wars Celebration set in the TCW/Rebels gap. Event exclusive trailer had a red Twi'lek so it looks like they're doing the Maul/Talon stuff.

After George's treatment (with cyborg underground mob boss Maul as the main villain) got thrown out in the trash, this feels like being compensated for the rape of your wife, with an exclusive special edition Bluray of the event.

This reminds me that I don't yet own ep 1 on laserdisc.

would be also nice to upgrade my et to the definitive edition that has CAV discs, but I don't feel like shilling out $400 for that, the CLV set I have is good enough.

You are better off waiting for a 35mm scan. I know where to get a czech one, but the source basically said english scans will be coming soon enough.

The 35mm scan is just a file on the computer, I meant owning the actual physical copy of the Laserdisc release so I can play it on my system.

Laserdiscs are early laser read disk tech, they are not known for lasting long. You will be lucky to get a copy that plays without artifacts.

By the way, you can just get the "special editions" of the DVDs, the ones with 2 disks each. They have the Laserdisc versions as bonus, 4:3 pan and scan. That is essentially identical to owning actual laserdiscs of the OT.

I ALREADY OWN THE LASERDISCS YOU DUMB FUCK. I don't have to get the DVDs which were poor transfers, for example:
>4:3 pan and scan
when I have the letterbox versions.

The only upgrade I could get would be getting the CAV versions which have marginally less crosstalk and allow for trick play, but they only have 30 mins per side and cost $400 plus import fees from Japan.
No.418260
dumb fuck
>>418259
Yes, I know you own the big frisbees. I meant if you care about having those versions in 10 or 20 years, it's better to have the DVDs which will outlive the laserdiscs. A backup plan.
