I remember there were weird little creatures like Oogie in the /mlp/ fandom too. I've seen a few gifs and images, and I can tell from them that they weren't exactly loved either. I also remember when I was looking for crossovers with Crossed, I even came across a greentext about these creatures being infected with the Crossed virus.

Do other fandoms have their own Oogies? Or is this fic just ours and MLP autism?

I also came across a good comic Crossed: Equestria, it's a shame they only drew a couple of pages, but the comic's cover ponification looks cool.

I like Doll very much, my second fav even, but her killing is honestly unnecessary and part of an overcomplicated plan.
Sure, the drones she did kill all were NPCs in a way, if they were anything like the other bunkerdrones that is, to her they definitely were. The only ones Doll seems to respect are Lizzy, Uzi after having found out she's a host too, and Khan since she thinks he's to Uzi what Yeva and her father were to herself. I figure it is due to a genuine lack of care for the others, she wanted revenge, no unfair means to achieve it in her view and maybe seeing the borderline retarded bunkerdrones larp all day after having been through what she did grew to be annoying to her.
Still, it doesn't make her (in small scale) better than V, Doll herself tore apart families, sure, but I genuinely doubt wether it had much of an impact on the emotionless retarded bunkerdrones. It doesn't make it right but Doll must absolutely have seen them as insignificant NPCs like you said.
Doll did nothing wrong instead more refers to Doll's decision to stay stubborn, kill V, save herself, not collaborate with DDs, since her refusal to work with the protags is what makes her a villain in the shows portrayal of good and bad, a killing spree against borderline demented bunkerdrones is on Uzi's record as well (Uzi 'didn't do it on purpose', doesn't matter in the end tho effect on others is the same), but clearly the shows morality doesn't consider killing WDs to be villifiyng, Uzi V and N keep doing so in the good and after 8 even.
Doll is meant as a villain due to her bitterness and loyalty to her dead parents, even if it lead her to the situation of facing Cyn alone (couldn't see it coming really) and her insistence on revenge against the DDs, which is what many don't agree with, hence 'Doll did nothing wrong'. At least thst is how I interpret it, of course you can also be a Doll absolutist and mean it literally, mesning the unterdrones from the bunker were no loss anyways.

Normally I would argue that Cyn emulated Tessa's personality when she assumed her identity and that "Tessa" is an accurate depiction of what Tessa would had been like as an adult. And I loved that. The manic quirky girl who under the surface is a woman who has gone through massive trauma, has picked herself up, assumed responsibility whether real or imagined, and is going after something terrifying on many levels. She was a strong woman done right and I loved what I was seeing. But then again "Tessa" needed an excuse to be on Copper 9 and going after Cyn, so maybe she lied.
Now about the real Tessa. I think she was aware that what was happening with Cyn was big. But considering her parents' behaviour I think that she was swiping the problem under the carpet because 1) she knew she couldn't rely on them for help and 2) they would punish her again. When Cyn left to kill everyone, Tessa went after her to save everyone, which is in character for who we thought before ep7 she would grow up to be. But it is also likely that she did it because she wanted to lessen her punishment as much as possible, or that in her autism she saw it as a game and played hero. I used to tell myself that that wasn't the case because her imposter acted like she was motivated by guilt and heroism. But now that I'm thinking that Cyn needed an excuse for Tessa to be on Copper 9, I have my nagging doubts.

I think the general goal will be making a proof of concept first, probably based off of some greens that form a cohesive narrative for a ~15-20 min game (longer if you don't read fast), probably centered on a character or two from canon (bc there's official art of them and I can barely sprite)
After that, if it goes well, I'd start trying to do something based off thread oc, priority for a character's inclusion either falling to the most popular ones or the ones that sprites are provided for

The other day it occured to me that Murder Drones is a slur. It isn't an actual designation or used by anyone but the WDs. It's like if Liam had named his show "Niggers" and Khan said "You let a nigger in here?!" to Uzi in the pilot.

From what we see, the crawling jumping, backwards walking, giggling and laughing she seems to have made most of her social freedom and just doubled down on her deer enthusiasm. No Nori to be a problem, no norms or anything, of course also no interaction but eh. In any case she's far from irrational, if anything she's far more levelheaded than many of the others, take Uzi for example. Alice is no pacifist and while she definitely has a sadistic side, all scenes of her being violent had her plan to do so (Uzi finger, V being presented to Uzi before wanting to axe her, Sentinels being used against N and Tessa...).
Early Alice was prob not too different from how she was till Uzi bit her in 6, but likely more disciplined and possibly shyer.

The only implication of Alice killing worker drones is 029 dying in 6's intro and then being on Alice's table, but even if it was intended to look that way it does not make any sense for a few reasons.

The Cyn we see come online immediately after making the Solver pact is clearly afraid and responding to their surroundings like a normal non-possessed person, which along with N, Tessa, and the rest not immediately hating and being creeped out by her, probably indicates that the takeover by the Solver was gradual. We see that this happened to Nori, and that it almost happens to Uzi over the course of the show. Cyn is just a case where the assimilation process was allowed to fully complete itself and consumed the original personality entirely. Probably due to time constraints, we only ever see Cyn as she was at the tail end of the infection, where she’s been overwritten entirely by the Solver.
