Hello my Friends! And good morning! Or maybe evening if you had things to do. I think we need to keep talking about the Droness, forever and ever, I think that is a good plan, are you with me? I know you are, you love Drones too. But yeah, let's talk about the Drones and the Threads like we always do. I hope your day is awesome. The magnificent Booru: https://dronebooru.co Last Thread: >>66295
>>67268 I remember there were weird little creatures like Oogie in the /mlp/ fandom too. I've seen a few gifs and images, and I can tell from them that they weren't exactly loved either. I also remember when I was looking for crossovers with Crossed, I even came across a greentext about these creatures being infected with the Crossed virus.
Do other fandoms have their own Oogies? Or is this fic just ours and MLP autism?
I also came across a good comic Crossed: Equestria, it's a shame they only drew a couple of pages, but the comic's cover ponification looks cool.
>>67270 Tessa's autism is part of her charm. The vibrant expression of her emotions, her near-spastic movements and her mannerisms. It would be a pleasure to decipher her, be surprised and go along with some of her eccentricities. And the hidden depth of maturity and responsibility that episode 5 and 6 had led us to believe she had and maybe did.
>>67282 I wish I could draw like ITanon so that I would draw pretty tessas daily. Like that one drawfag who would draw Justice from Helltaker daily.
SFM Anon here, how do y'all feel about Cyn/J Tentacle Rape? Because I may or may not be working on something like that and slowly realizing how much SFM makes me want to kill myself.
so why is Doll killing all those people okay again? I'm not trying to ignore the main cast's crimes, I just don't fully get where the Doll did nothing wrong attitude comes from. she had control over her actions, and not only does she show no remorse, she delighted in killing a bunch of innocent girls– more than she needed for sustenance. she only shows any sympathy towards Uzi after she finds out they're both solver hosts. it kinda felt like she saw any non-witch (aside from Lizzy) as an insignificant NPC
>>67310 I like Doll very much, my second fav even, but her killing is honestly unnecessary and part of an overcomplicated plan. Sure, the drones she did kill all were NPCs in a way, if they were anything like the other bunkerdrones that is, to her they definitely were. The only ones Doll seems to respect are Lizzy, Uzi after having found out she's a host too, and Khan since she thinks he's to Uzi what Yeva and her father were to herself. I figure it is due to a genuine lack of care for the others, she wanted revenge, no unfair means to achieve it in her view and maybe seeing the borderline retarded bunkerdrones larp all day after having been through what she did grew to be annoying to her. Still, it doesn't make her (in small scale) better than V, Doll herself tore apart families, sure, but I genuinely doubt wether it had much of an impact on the emotionless retarded bunkerdrones. It doesn't make it right but Doll must absolutely have seen them as insignificant NPCs like you said. Doll did nothing wrong instead more refers to Doll's decision to stay stubborn, kill V, save herself, not collaborate with DDs, since her refusal to work with the protags is what makes her a villain in the shows portrayal of good and bad, a killing spree against borderline demented bunkerdrones is on Uzi's record as well (Uzi 'didn't do it on purpose', doesn't matter in the end tho effect on others is the same), but clearly the shows morality doesn't consider killing WDs to be villifiyng, Uzi V and N keep doing so in the good and after 8 even. Doll is meant as a villain due to her bitterness and loyalty to her dead parents, even if it lead her to the situation of facing Cyn alone (couldn't see it coming really) and her insistence on revenge against the DDs, which is what many don't agree with, hence 'Doll did nothing wrong'. At least thst is how I interpret it, of course you can also be a Doll absolutist and mean it literally, mesning the unterdrones from the bunker were no loss anyways.
Why do some of the drawfags here don't have a online presence outside these threads? The ones that are popular have either a twitter or a tumblr account while the ones that infrequently post don't have one at all. I'm wondering why is that?
>>67290 Normally I would argue that Cyn emulated Tessa's personality when she assumed her identity and that "Tessa" is an accurate depiction of what Tessa would had been like as an adult. And I loved that. The manic quirky girl who under the surface is a woman who has gone through massive trauma, has picked herself up, assumed responsibility whether real or imagined, and is going after something terrifying on many levels. She was a strong woman done right and I loved what I was seeing. But then again "Tessa" needed an excuse to be on Copper 9 and going after Cyn, so maybe she lied. Now about the real Tessa. I think she was aware that what was happening with Cyn was big. But considering her parents' behaviour I think that she was swiping the problem under the carpet because 1) she knew she couldn't rely on them for help and 2) they would punish her again. When Cyn left to kill everyone, Tessa went after her to save everyone, which is in character for who we thought before ep7 she would grow up to be. But it is also likely that she did it because she wanted to lessen her punishment as much as possible, or that in her autism she saw it as a game and played hero. I used to tell myself that that wasn't the case because her imposter acted like she was motivated by guilt and heroism. But now that I'm thinking that Cyn needed an excuse for Tessa to be on Copper 9, I have my nagging doubts.
>>67317 A sociopath only feels empathy when a person is in a situation that he or she has suffered through. Like when Doll realized that Uzi has the Solver too, and offered to help her and refrained from killing her dad. Maybe Liam intended for Doll to be a sociopath instead of a good drone gone bad from trauma.
>>67303 And because of this eggshell shite shows are full of Impotent Male-Hypercompetent Female. Rendered in the simplest style money can buy. Like Lower Decks. That killed the animation industry. I understand why Liam does this, but is it worth living in social fear and creative chains? He isn't going to break into the big animation scene, and he has already had his one hit like the showrunners he looks up to.
>>67337 Some of the things I draw would likely get me banned, very few but still. Besides I have grown to despise the outside fandom, really really retarded ignorant niggers, that's the adult part. I don't hate on some kids making edits or shipping, what I mean are the viciously stupid adults spewing their dogshit takes and theories on Youtube, poisoning the entire fandom with it. Flat out impossible to discuss or argue with anyone, I did so in very good faith but they lack elementary knowledge of lore and at some point shut down to the point of 'huh' ,'I don't believe that'(even with evidence provided, not just the conclusion, no, even when saying exactly where to find the info) and forgetting what you told them one comment ago. That's just YouTube I don't use Reddit
>>67337 This place and those places don't mesh super well, culturally, socially, or career-wise Keep in mind there are still tards out there who think 4chan and it's derivatives are 'hackers' and think Linux is an attack vector - better to keep your head down and your power level under wraps unless you're ready for the potential consequences
>>67310 (me) >>67334 don't get me wrong, I still like Doll– you kinda have to overlook some truly heinous things to like a majority of the named characters– I just feel like out of all of them she should have the most sympathy for the common drone. instead the opposite is true. I wonder if things would have turned out better if she had tried to go about things in a less self-centered way? she had much greater control over and understanding of her solver powers– maybe if she willingly act like a monster and didn't go it alone she could've survived.
>>67348 It had nothing to do with not wanting anything to do with the robo-vampires and everything to do with being on the same side of the cave-in the Solver was on.
>>67337 I don't jell with Tumblr and Xitter less so. I do have a Newgrounds and keep procrastinating over wether I should bring back my old DevArt account.
>>67351 I mean from the very beginning. she could've tried to focus on finding a cure with Lizzy, but instead she drew up a hit list so she could be prom queen. when she discovered Uzi was a witch she could have tried to actually work with her, etc.
>>67337 Switchanon here, considering I only started drawing in late 2023 I feel less comfortable with outsiders looking at my art and even then I wouldn't touch Twitter or Tumblr with a stick. I already had two twitter accounts banned just because I made the mistake of arguing with deranged freaks over there but I do have a AO3 account, picrel, but does AO3 even count as social media?
>>67099 While that would be really really funny if I could pull it off, I won't for a couple reasons 1) the number of separate routes, branching options to keep track of, and general bloat would probably turn it into a slog to play through (we're over 100 thread OCs by now, mind you) 2) I'm already a hack writer, I'd be scraping the bottom of a shallow barrel 3) I actually would die of kms I think the general goal will be making a proof of concept first, probably based off of some greens that form a cohesive narrative for a ~15-20 min game (longer if you don't read fast), probably centered on a character or two from canon (bc there's official art of them and I can barely sprite) After that, if it goes well, I'd start trying to do something based off thread oc, priority for a character's inclusion either falling to the most popular ones or the ones that sprites are provided for
>>67358 not really? it was pretty clear before V shot at her that Doll was leaving with the intention of going it alone. she doesn't say "we can find something to fix this" or anything that suggests a partnership
don't even go near Twitter it full of crazy people, I am not exaggerating that place will be your undoing plus4chan might low on members but infinitely better then Twitter
>>67061 I know we always say Alice wouldn't be exactly modestly equiped, but could she 'actually' have such? Having to live of scavenged scraps for about two decades?
>>67368 We would all fucking die as the evil Reddit and Twitter people would see our Holy Thread OC and immediately know what website it came from. They would then flock here and attempt to participate in our sacred ways of Dronetism, I dare even say that some new Drawfags and Writefags may appear but they would be VILE OFF-SITE SLOP MAKERS! WE WOULD BE OVER-RUN! IT WOULD BE TOTALY CHAOS! E WOULD BE HUNG DRAWN AND QUARTERED!
>>67371 AND WORSE, THEY WOULD REDESIGN OUR PRECIOUS OCS!!! AND MAKE SHITTY AUS WITH THEM RIPPED STRAIGHT OUT OF TUMBLR!!! AND THEN THEY WOULD EXECUTE THEM ONE-BY-ONE VIA FIRING SQUAD!!!
>>67378 Anyone remember the schizo Cyn greens where Anon was just a figment of Cyn's damaged processor? Would anyone be interested in seeing a Tyler Durden/Johnny Silverhand-esque green where Anon is a figment created by the Solver in order to trick and manipulate her?
>>67377 I think that Murder Drones needed to be written by someone other than Liam. Liam is good at character design, setting, and personalities, but not much outside of that
Image:172952530947.jpg(164kB, 900x1200)Cory loves Sonic and loves eating gyros.jpg
So which MD character would you most want to hear Cory's thoughts on after he were to watch the series? For me, I'd like to hear the autistic coomer psycho shit he'd say about Nori.
>>67384 > anon as solver and cyn as his host ;D >maybe that could be the reason she is hellbent on killing other hosts, she doesn't want anon near other hosts because they might take him away from her
>>67391 >she’s like the main character girl but she’s sexy and mommy and then she’s a little crab squid thing but I’d still put my way with her if you catch my drift
The other day it occured to me that Murder Drones is a slur. It isn't an actual designation or used by anyone but the WDs. It's like if Liam had named his show "Niggers" and Khan said "You let a nigger in here?!" to Uzi in the pilot.
>Huntress is one of the Sentinels who resents her current standing in life, and Hound would agree as to why >They don’t like the better treatment they’ve been getting in recent years. It makes them feel like they’re being talked down to or coddled. >Their absolute refusal to wear any clothes is among their ways of protesting, along with how they tend to bury themselves in the jungle and remain there. >It’s as if they both believe they deserve to suffer.
>>67411 >>Are you intact Does that mean they're mentally well because most other OCs are not mentally well at all. Some of them are even clearly psychotic or sociopathic.
>>67417 >Oogis aren't allowed due to Sentinel's fearing them >Ironically if they did hire a single Oogi, The Solver would've been destroyed in under a second
Do the OCs have specific owners that run/RP them or is it just free for all? Because I thought was the former but realized it would be hard to keep track because everyone's Anon
>>67367 western twitter fandoms manage to make everything miserable. they can take two cute girls kissing and ruin it. the bigger the fandom is, the worse the discourse gets. I'm into Splatoon, god help me, and you can only see the cute cephalopod girls drawn with top surgery scars, stretch marks, and body hair so many times before you start going crazy.
>Phi learns of the Sentinel Program >She arranges to have herself caught and converted >Y stumbles into the ambush, looking for booze or cigs or dick or whatever >She gets caught instead >The hunter team leaves with her >Phi shakes her fist into the air >"Sons of bitchesssss!" >Y becomes a Sentinel Drone >She looks under her hat and finds Mini Y >Mini Y is now a (mini) Sentinel Drone too >Y uses her as a stun grenade. >>67426 There are Anon's who create OCs, so you could say that they own them, but no one has ever done anything where it's like >"DONT TOUCH MY OC YOU FUCK! REEEEEEEE! ONLY I CAN TOUCHIE TOUCHIE!" So if you like an OC feel free to draw them or write a green about them, of course you're not free from criticism if you do something stupid like turn E into a trans Nazi or anything that people think is retarded >RP With Them No. No one does that here like at all or atleast when people do they don't own the OC and it's a joke
>>67465 >For Christmas Anon is gifted a Sentinel Drone Don't ask how >"I said I wanted to fuck a Sentinel." >"But, Anon? That is a Se-" >"NO. I SAID A SENTINEL, NOT A SENTINEL DRONE."

>>67411 Pretty sure you have it backwards as all sentinel drones are effectively clones based off of K, who was a DD. The solver is a nessecary component for them And i dont think they ask for consent/care if theyre all there mentally as they perform frequent memory wipes and such on them

She barely needs an upgrade, give her the Grunt enhancements and send her on her way.
>>67605 Where does the anti-solver thing come from? From all the lore I've seen Phoenix post their anti-interactability comes from a rare special alloy and their resistance to corruption comes from frequent memory wipes. I don't think I've ever seen him mention any special trait like that.
>>67613 That’s Phoenix’s version. My version is a little more simplistic. A one in multi-billion chance for a Drone to be outright immune to Solver control due to their core having some strange shenanigans. Nobody knows what causes it, and it can take years to take effect, meaning that mass production is impossible. [spoiler]The Solver can’t take control from within, but taking control from without… That’s another story[\spoiler]

wonder if anyone else noticed this but in ep6 there's a scene where sparky (i think) bites spacesuit "tessa" but before falling its hud shows the $escaped_data thing like uzi in ep8. could it be some sort of solver takeover thing or just random code they found in 3 seconds on google without significance that looked cool (i mean, it's arguable that it is technically but i don't want to ruin the cool theories and fun in general)
After severe soul-searching, contending with the factors at hand, the crushing weight of my own laziness, and a desire to indulge myself, I'll be trying to convert the Alice roadtrip greens into my first attempt at a VN. And no, it's not because I'm going to use ATS to help cheese some of the backgrounds.
I had a dream where V, N, Uzi, Thad and Sparky were in a beach house. Something attacks and Thad gets mauled in front of V, and she begs for his life, stating she didn’t want to go to his funeral, then Sparky betrays her.
>>67646 As soon as she was compiling her pillbabies the 'homemaker' data packet was downloaded from the cloud to prepare her for the task of motherhood Of course she's good at baking

>Turn A Gundam was created by a jap resembling a wojak drawing. It was an unexpected success and the creator was given more shows by the company who had hired him. But he was retarded about being given instructions by the toy makers and he tried to kill the franchise to antagonize them. Instead the company gave the franchise to other people to heal it before giving it back to him. Enraged, the japanese wojak made a gundam show about the most powerfulest gundam ever and set it canonically to take place after any gundam entry that would be made in the future, to plant his dick in the franchise. And he made the sloeest, most boring shit imaginable about a brown femboy riding a visual atrocity. And the visual atrocity in question was a result of reigning him in.

The show was intended to be half as long as normal gundam shows. The creator tried to force the company to give him more episodes by moving the story really slow. So if N (or any other Disassembler who's no longer under Cyn's control) were to become a disembodied core for an extended period of time, what would likely happen? >They eventually regenerate/repair their original body >They become a Solverpede under the control of their current "administrator" >They remain stuck as a core until/unless they secure a new body
>>67743 It is shite in the kind of way that would make for a youtube essay. Some of the designs were alright. I liked the circuit details on the gundams. Some dude painted Aerial in Optimus Prime's colous and it fits it. Here's a brief description of the gundam shows if you feel like watching any.
>Mobile Suit Gundam The american war of independence if America looked like nazis and invaded Britain, but Britain is the globalist government. The mc attracts the mentally ill Red Baron's attention.
>Zeta Gundam America lost the war and now Britain is oppressing all the colonies. A space autist joins a rebel group. There are zionist shenanigans happening in the background.
>Double Zeta Gundam Wtf is this?! But also kinda heartwarming.
>Gundam Victory At this point the creator was openly antagonizing the company by making the most difficult designs to work with and market, and giving them the silliest names. The beginning was such a slow burn that the company had the third episode play first and literally end with "If you want to know wtf is going on then keep watching next week."
>G Gundam Dragonball with giant robots and funny racism.
>Gundam Wing Leftover designs from G Gundam. The Red Baron is more interesting and coherent than the main heroes.
>Turn A Gundam The moon people are immigrating to Earth and a brown femboy in an ugly robot is trying to talk people out of a race war.
>Gundam Seed Series reboot. Beam spam and reused footage. War between regular humans and genetically engineered humans.
>Gundam Seed Destiny Beam spam and reused footage. Emperor Palpatine goes to war with the global elites because he couldn't fuck the woman he wanted. Amusing production drama led to a clusterfuck of a plot.
>Gundam 00 Keikakus within keikakus with failsafes.
>Gundam AGE A war that spans three generations. Starts off being made for a young audience. Sobers up later on.
>Iron Blooded Orphans It's creator set out to shit on many gundam and shonen tropes. Accidentally called out many things wrong with the franchise. Fights are fought with bullets and big hunks of metal.
>Build Fighters Bleh show about selling model kits.
>Build Fighters Try Fun show about selling model kits, at least up until the mc starts doing magical attacks. Nobody is evil in it. Good vibes.
>Build Divers It fleshes out an MMO that doesn't exist. Banger intro.
>Build Divers Re:Rise They threw out the worldbuilding and cast of the previous series in favour of a cast with no chemistry protecting a race of furries.
>The Witch From Mercury Space bumpkin attends a school for rich kids in space. Viewers predicted a big plot twist by joking about the tomatoes in Big O.
Which would work better for the Solver beast Negev becomes: a wolf monster, a la Bloodborne, or a frog monster, a la It's Always Sunny, Frank finds out he's Froggy ? Or would a mashup of the two be best?
>>67824 Thanks, am currently colouring it, going for something similiar to pic rel, still on the fence as to wether colour her hair brown or keep it monochrome except for the orange ofc
>>67833 >still on the fence as to wether colour her hair brown or keep it monochrome except for the orange ofc Experimentation never hurts, Maybe you should make a version for both and see what you think? I look forward to seeing what you come up with in any case, Alicefriend.
>>67833 this looks like an Alice who became completely isolated– even from the threat of sentinels– went even crazier from lack of any stimulation, regressed to her original personality, and is stuck in a happy make-believe world where the facility was still operating and everyone is okay and also her friend
>>67840 >and is stuck in a happy make-believe world where the facility was still operating and everyone is okay and also her friend Alice is literally me
>>67839 I think I know now, both is not possible due to me being inept at digital arts, due to the paper and colours I cannot cover something, only one chance to get it right. I'll go with the mobochrome, but try using the orange shine on her hair as much as possible
>>67838 I will say she is not 'crazy', even in 6. From what we see, the crawling jumping, backwards walking, giggling and laughing she seems to have made most of her social freedom and just doubled down on her deer enthusiasm. No Nori to be a problem, no norms or anything, of course also no interaction but eh. In any case she's far from irrational, if anything she's far more levelheaded than many of the others, take Uzi for example. Alice is no pacifist and while she definitely has a sadistic side, all scenes of her being violent had her plan to do so (Uzi finger, V being presented to Uzi before wanting to axe her, Sentinels being used against N and Tessa...). Early Alice was prob not too different from how she was till Uzi bit her in 6, but likely more disciplined and possibly shyer.
>>67832 Remember that time someone wanted to make a 3D-printable base model for drone figures, and MM made some reference sketches with the promise that said someone would actually do it so said sketches wouldn't go to waste, and then nothing came of it?
Because I remember, Anon. I remember when you did that.
>>67859 I only ever frequented like 3 threads and I've been a lurker at all other times, so whatever. Let the website burn, it sucks these days anyway.
>>67867 Especially considering the jannies are addicted to nuking threads for no reason, I don't really feel a need to go back there too often. Outside of the occasional trip to /trash/ at least.
>>67847 >the crawling jumping, backwards walking, giggling and laughing she seems to have made most of her social freedom and just doubled down on her deer enthusiasm. What are you, her lawyer?
Small update, setting up the code for the visual novel is remarkably easy The spriting is a different matter all together since I apparently suck at digital, so I'm outsourcing that to my 10 y/o screen addict cousin I think - not like the results can get much worse and that git owes me a favor anyway Will update when I've got everything put together and working, but that shouldn't take longer than until Sat. or Sun.
>>67821 Option 3 probably. Nori was a full host and didn't come up with a new body in decades. despite there being ample raw material, even within CPM/CFL. Option 2 is out as long as the core is intact, as seen in 8.
>>67847 I forget, was it ever confirmed that Alice straight up murders worker drones regularly and doesn’t just scavenge corpse parts and/or lure DDs into getting killed by sentinels?
>>67882 Nope The only implication of Alice killing worker drones is 029 dying in 6's intro and then being on Alice's table, but even if it was intended to look that way it does not make any sense for a few reasons. >029 would never have lasted 20 years the way she was acting in the intro >Bunch of Worker Drones in the office who are freshly bootlooped, all gone or totally wrecked in 6 >Office still has enough power for normal lighting at the start of the intro before going dark, 6 is always dimly lit (don't ask why there's any power left, maybe singularities became common use power generators in MDs world, hence it runs two decades later on) >How would Alice have been able to figure out the controlls, camera positions and exploiting the Sentinels soon enough after the collapse while possible other survivors were still alive down there? In conclusion, I think Alice did never kill any Worker Drones and the reason 029 specifically was on her table in 6 was simply to reuse the only CFL subject with hair and 'backstory' (6has many technical faults, could legit be a reason since it was in comparison to 7&8 rushed). Alice was involved in elminating the DDs, how much she did herself is unclear tho. Judging by V's swift victory against the Sentinels however Alice must have done a lot of planing for the Sentinels/acted herself.
Picrel is Gonna be all for tonight, been drawing 4 hours today and didn't get one done, too many fronts >>67885 I wouldn't even need to lie I love deer even before Alice. Her having an interest for them, Alice liking animals like that, makes her all the more precious and attractive. Especially when looking at the borderline retarded mass of surface drones. think it's interesting tho how as a small kud I was deathly afraid of deer and had weekly nightmares of them, antlers played a huge role even, glad how character development changed that however
Soon to be coloured were it not for having misplannedvthe placement of her hands, idk wether to keep the hands as stretched and exaggerated as they are or to renakes them fitting with her arms, but almost completely hidden then. Sucks that they are the only area eith such exxageration
>>67887 >Yes, J is living the dream! >No family! >No friends! >No hobbies! >Nothing to hold her back from her endless corporate slugfest in an attempt to get another rung further up the ladder! >Yes, absolutely living the dream! >And if she had any doubts, she has you - her trusty subordinate - to lean on!
>>67912 >>67914 >>67916 NOT CANONICALLY POSSIBLE! CYN MADE THE DEAL WAY BEFORE THEY EVEN MET N! THE REAL CYN WAS A RANDOM DRONE THAT HAD NO PERSONAL CONNECTION TO TESSA LET ALONE N! HELL THEIR REAL NAME PROBABLY WASN'T EVEN CYN!
>>67922 The Cyn we see come online immediately after making the Solver pact is clearly afraid and responding to their surroundings like a normal non-possessed person, which along with N, Tessa, and the rest not immediately hating and being creeped out by her, probably indicates that the takeover by the Solver was gradual. We see that this happened to Nori, and that it almost happens to Uzi over the course of the show. Cyn is just a case where the assimilation process was allowed to fully complete itself and consumed the original personality entirely. Probably due to time constraints, we only ever see Cyn as she was at the tail end of the infection, where she’s been overwritten entirely by the Solver.
>>67932 >The Cyn we see is clearly afria- THE SOLVER IS FAKING IT FOR SYMPATHY! THIS IS NOT THE REAL CYN OR ANYTHING! THE SOLVER DID THIS SO N WOULD TAKE PITY AND LOWER HIS GUARD ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE
>>67929 The Sentinels aren’t good or evil, they’re just robots that were designed to fulfill a specific purpose and are carrying out that purpose even when the situation they’re in has drastically changed in unexpected ways. There’s no malice in their actions.
>>67941 >the situation they’re in has drastically changed in unexpected ways Before: DDs kill to feed a planet to Vore Demon GLaDOS After: DDs kill to emphasize petty points or relieve boredom
>>67967 Considering we're talking clearly supernatural vore demon shit, I don't think it'd be SOMA anything. It'd straight up be Tessa's soul put in a drone body.
>>67980 the relevant concepts here, iirc are it's a game where the world is doomed and scientists figure out a way to preserve something of the human race by putting digital copies of people into a digital heaven box that they'll shoot into space. a bunch of idiots don't understand the basic concept that they aren't their digital copies and kill themselves immediately after the brain scan thinking they'll end up in digital heaven. for some reason that only applies for the player character, this consciousness copy process is presented as a coin flip in which you might actually end up in whatever place you sent the copy, leaving the copy in your place to rot
>>67990 The coin flip is a fundamental misunderstanding on Simon's part, not something actually happening. But in all fairness to Simon, he's a copy of a copy of a guy who was dying from severe brain damage.
>Side affects when hanging around with drones 24/7: >you pick up unusual habits from them such as weird smiles >irregular sleep patterns >eating weird shit >randomly speaking binary
>>67993 maybe I'm misremembering. I thought the scientist lady called it a coin toss for Simon– and at least from the player's perspective it is, though I guess that might just be a gameplay conceit
>>67995 Simon is retarded so she tried to explain it to him with the coin toss analogy, but there is no coin toss. The person being copied is always the one left behind.
I've lost alot of energy to visit these threads as of late and my drawing focus has shifted for the most part, but here is a WIP i threw together real quick
>>67997 Eh, that's alright don't feel so pressured friend. I know you don't really owe us anything, but if you do plan on ever leaving for good could ya atleast do us the courtesy of saying goodbye?
>>67981 There's a difference between writing a green for an OC and taking an OC and trying to rewrite it, and trying to make it yours, that's just disrespectful
>>68003 >>68009 I haven't been pressured to be here? I just showed up now to post my WIP because its related to the thread. I will fade back into the abyss once it is finished and until i draw a drone again lmao
I can't say I'm a fan or HoDR's new bunk buddy system. First, I'm told that I'm not allowed to go home anymore due to signing a contract 2 weeks ago. Second, I'm told that I have to literally live at work, which I don't need to explain why that sucks. Lastly, I have to partner up with a random Drone and not only stay with that Drone, but share a bunk each and every night with said Drone.
>>68012 Yeah I can't say I'm a fan either...especially after getting stuck with Labor Bots. Did you know that five Labor Bots equal one Drone according to HoDR? I AM LITERALLY SURROUNDED BY FUCKING TELEVISIONS ALL NIGHT
>>68012 I signed a few more papers with my partner drone and they let me live at home. The only real difference is she comes home with me now, too. Nothing weird.
>>68026 >in actuality, the other drones arw well aware anon isn't a drone >but he's a lot easier to trick into doing what they want this way >"as the tallest drone, it is your duty to lift your fellow worker drones to reach high shelves, or for any other reason." >"we drones regularly sleep in a big pile together" >"can I borrow some charge from you? 'how?' via mouth-to-mouth, obviously. yes using tongue is required."
>>68039 I was making good progress on my next green until life kicked me in the teeth and I lost all motivation. Recently I've gotten a little back on track with what I want to write, but it's very different from what I was doing originally, so now I have to rewrite everything I already had down. But i think it'll be better in the end.
>>68052 >Drone being nice to a human in an attempt to manipulate him >Likewise, the human is being nice to the drone in an attempt to manipulate her >Pretend that they "like" each other >Slowly start to like each other for real
>>68039 i’m not totally sure how i feel right now. after so long of being anxious all the time, all the sudden i just feel numb. i think all the little guys in my head finally killed the orange muppet one, and since it used to have total control all the time, none of them know what to even do now. but as always, N and his smile are my beacon of light when the world is disappointing. a close family member of mine is very unwell, and i’m not sure if or how they’re gonna get better. and this weekend, i’ll be taking a test which, if i pass, will be the biggest accomplishment in my life so far, six years in the making. the idea of this test has terrified me for years, yet now that it’s only a few days away, i’m not scared. i guess to put it simply, i’m in “fuck it, we ball” mode.
i tried to create a sizable greentext story for them, but i don't have enough time to actually complete it lol Introducing my newest OCs >Rom, a laborbot single mother >She is as young as you think she is, she is only in her late twenties >Born in a laborbot colony devastated by post-good ending conflict, forced to leave at a young age >Direct genetic descendant of the Archiver, although many laborbots are >Headstrong, stalwart, stubborn >Lots of street smarts but very little academic or historical knowledge, goes with the flow >Tall for a lb girl >Extremely physically fit, can deadlift a small car >Devout Christian
>Ram, a worker drone girl and Rom's adopted daughter >Around 13 years old >Her colony was devastated by post-good ending conflicts as well, but her family was not as lucky >Perhaps died as an infant...and perhaps lived >Adopted by Rom despite social repercussions >She isn't autistic, but due to never attending school and rarely interacting positively with other drones as a result of her upbringing, she is very poorly socially adjusted >Incredibly naive, adopted almost none of the street knowledge her mother due to her working overtime to shelter her >Likes birds (they are extinct) >Likes boys, advances on virtually every boy her age she finds attractive without fear due to not developing shame >Spends most of her time exploring and fucking with people at her new school >Not as athletic as her mother, but she is incredibly fast and agile >Eventually meets a mysterious girl with long purple hair, straight bangs, a cheer uniform and befriends her as her only friend. Strangely enough, nobody else seems to know who she is. >Hates disassembly drones with a homicidal fury, even if she doesn't actually know why or how to explain it
>>68012 Anon, you can sign a special contract with this drone to able yourself sleep at home, true, it will also sleep at your home with you because of that, but agree, it's better than sleeping at work.
Image:172958633915.png(862kB, 2000x2474)WIP ZC Core Hold Painted Unshaded.png
>>68039 >up to WIP on the digital painting version of my "Uzi holding Cyn's core". With that done, I can resume writing for the fanfics that have been on hold, though I might do a drawing for my newest one first.
Image:172958653996.png(863kB, 2000x2474)WIP ZC Core Hold Painted Shaded.png
>>68091 A rough pass at shading it. This one is also for/going in a fanfic, and so to match the actual scene from the show and the mood of the fic, shading will be used.
>>67706 Yeah, a couple or three. Off the top of my head I want to ask if you have scanned any issues of Le Petit Spirou. It is a different comic than the regular Spirou.
>>68111 >Regular sentinel drones aren't cutting it anymore >Engineers introduce a fan-like structure with more lights and mirrors >They install it on a sentinel drone's back >She deploys it by spreading it and looks like a peacock
I haven't cared about their bans for a long time, I have a disassembled drone at home with modifications that were banned after.... you know after what incidents.
>>68118 >"Trust me, it's suuuuuuper rare." >As soon as you leave with your purchase, he goes to the storeroom, grabs another copy of plush Tardessa from the hundreds of identical ones, and puts it on display

Fucking V into she bluescreens, making her feel loved by dicking her down, then cuddle her when she comes back to, hugging her until she falls sleep, kissing her when she wakes up, prepare her a nice oil tea, made her feel loved for the rest of her life
>>68172 It's really funny, Liam stated that he doesn't like to make male characters OP because "it would lead to weird power dynamics", yet N is easily the strongest and most competent character in the entire series also Thad is WAY too OP
>>68175 >N is easily the strongest and most competent character in the entire series this rock thats pinning his arm? it’s PLANETARY, just like him, he may not have shown ap beyond building level, speed beyond hypersonic, and he may be constantly at risk of being pierced by rebar and pens, but he is a PLANETARY BEASTE
If fuguedrone loves me so much why doesn't he start being a good househusband by cleaning and cooking instead of just forcing intrusive thoughts into my head?
>>68158 >long hair Automatically inferior. Short hair is best, that's why Ic-0n is the better cube. 313 has points for pushing the sincere weeaboo aesthetics though.
After seeing one post many moons ago, I have gained a strange new fetish. Imagine a DD slicing themselves open and stuffing objects into the wound for storage as their flesh regenerates around it or possibly even stuffing you inside them for warmth
>>68222 Every time I think you people have hit the upper limit of bizarre and frightening degeneracy, you find a new way to raise the bar just a little higher
>>68218 >>68219 Do you think the 'oil' in DDs or Solverhosts in general has anything to do with the oil in WDs? Or is it something more biological, considering they have flesh but apparently no blood?
>>68399 >manga idk if it would work, only if it has a good and different style, but if they do a comic without even trying the manga style for me it's good
