>>44146 You mean wether I'd draw it? Lizzy fell out of favour with me due to a variety of reasons but I don't hate her, if you have anything specific in mind for the reunion sure, I love requests, likely won't be done that soon tho. No promised ofc
>>44158 Nta but Alice is the best fictional thing I ever found in my life and it surely won't change, life would be different in several ways had I not read that green back in October
since her anon doesn't exist anymore, IM claiming strychnine. she's mine, everything i say about her is canon. first thing i proclaim, her favorite band is weezer.
/co/ The Absolute Solver has arrived at your doorstep with the intent to seduce you. Police are no longer taking your calls, and the army is creating a perimeter one mile wide around your home. How fucked (metaphorically) are you?
/co/ >>44177 Pretty fucked. Like what am I gonna do? Best case scenario I get a robot wife. The real question is what host will it take/has taken? I doubt it'd be a drone or Cynessa.... Either way, I guess we're gonna become like the weeaboo pair from internecion cube. Assuming it takes a form that most appeals to it's target, like how it wore Tessa's corpse and adopted her mannerisms while undercover
She appears as spacesuit Tessa and gives you a spacesuit thighjob, then she sheds her outer layer, transforming into Cynwalker and gives you the crazy style quintuple deluxe Solver sloppy, then she sheds another layer, becoming cute little maid Cyn and gives you wholesome handholding drone cuddlesex, then she sheds her last layer and becomes a mass of geometrically impossible techno-organic nightmares, and you do missionary with the lights off
>>44201 What about on mobile? I wonder if the chan thing works. J was a metaphor for the trickling down of violence. Cyn/humans abused her because she was below them and in turn she abused N because she was below her. Her establishing moment where she is stepping on N is a visual gag about him being beneath her.
I know that not everyone or even most people believe in Alice being alive, that aside tho and just assuming she were to smh regain mobility/get fixed (how that happens doesn't matter), what would you see for her after 8? Most likely seems she would stay down in CFL, the doors no longer work but Sentinels and DDs are gone as well. Dunno if she could even get out if she mwanted, she's pretty 'athletic', not far behind Doll, but the ep6 behind the scenes showed the 'entry crater' of CFL having ice walls, not debris like O previousyl thought. Probably would loose it really Idk it's kinda a norhingburger but maybe someone thought od something, perhaps
Am too drunk and impatient to work on the biggee prohects, I'd do quick rewuests favourably of Alice/Doll/V since I know those, but anyone goes really, except Nori Cyn Uzu and Dentinels, they will not be drawn
>J finds Tessa cryogenically frozen in a giant tube >However, Uzi and V think it's a trap, leading to a big fight >Tessa's tube gets knocked over, Tessa slides out and falls into a hole
>>44236 If it were up to me, yeah, I’d go with Strychnine being a sort of SuccuDrone with that visible crotch hatch. If you have the human alive, you can collect more material from them in other ways than the short term of killing them.
Strychnine has the special trait of being able to allure humans to her more easily, then she’s engage in hot and heavy material collecting, leaving the person exhausted. However, she is not without attachment.
If Strychnine has been made aware that her previous human have recovered to a stable state or perhaps, even pulled away during material collecting, then she would have an obsessive need to locate that human, getting aggressive when she’s unable to.
>>44254 >If Strychnine has been made aware that her previous human have recovered to a stable state or perhaps, even pulled away during material collecting, then she would have an obsessive need to locate that human, getting aggressive when she’s unable to. So she would still become an obsessive rapist?
I checked up on the previous thread to see the netflix announcement. I just hope it doesn't happen to Murder Drones. I'm happy for Goose and the Glitch team there, I hope the deal helps them stay afloat and it doesn't go bust and Netflix cancels shit down the line(par for the course). I really dread that massive influx of popularity to Liam's stuff though. Someone summed it pretty well >>43976 (not like the show AS a Netflix original, rather the impact of MD being on Netflix).
>>44260 Gooseworx literally said that nothing would change though and that if Netflix tried to break their deal they would pull out immediately. Murder Drones being on Netflix wouldn't result in that scenario, the scenario was a S H I T post about Glitch not caring about keeping Murder Drones free of Netflix's pandering/garbage input
Sometimes I wish I could peer into alternate worlds just for their shows. I want to see the universe where season 2 is about Beretta, Auntie Cyn, Hope and maybe the occasional Negev, yet on one hand I want to see the alternate universe where things took a dark turn in Episode 8 which resulted in a season 2 about JC
>>44254 >>44259 I have a feeling she would end up like the green with Melody the Bond Drone where she becomes obsessed with (You) both mentally and sexually if she spots you again after riding you.
>>44259 I did consider wanting to change the “core” part of Strychnine to be more wholesome like perhaps trying to hold back on her SuccuDrone protocol and wanting to be a normal person around you, but I didn’t know if you lads would be all good with me purging the ENTIRE character with wholesome
>>44268 She'll always be Springlockanon's leader of the rapist squad in my heart <3 >>44269 I don't remember their designations, were they F and Z or something?

>>44158 >>44132 I can't wait till fall really gets going again, I need those wonderful eyes when it's wet and cold outside... The idea of Alice last year during that time was something indescribably comfy and fullfilling, Alice fueled escapism is peak
>>44280 Two directions, either Alice recognizes Nori or not. Either way, she doesn't hold Nori in high regard and will just as likely put her in the heating oven with the other cores. Nori still has her Solver powers though so that's another factor, she might not let Alice catch her that easily. We don't know if an EMP arm affects a Solver core or not, the only example we've seen of this is Uzi. (OR if the Sentinel bootloop flash can directly affect a core like Nori or not) Thing is I'm still undecided on if the EMP affects the onboard electronics in a drone body only or if it also affects the core. The core is the mystery piece, not fully explained (which I'm fine with, it leaves you room to play with ideas). I figured a regular core can still be short-circuited by an EMP but a Solvered core might not. Under full possession, Uzi ignored the effect of magnets on her head.
>be Nori >Robo-Goddamnit, the weakest, most wretched woman who ever lived >you now feel like you look >okay, enough self-loathing for now >you're in Yeva's place >if Yeva could see you now- NO! STOP IT! GET YOUR HEAD IN- Head... >anyway, you keep seeing that blondie who has that fleshcrawling gleam in her eye whenever she sees you or the local murder drones carrying around Yeva's daughter's mangled corpse >she takes it to go shopping, she takes it to gossip with her friends, she takes it to the movies, Uzi and that familiar knucklehead of hers says she takes it to school... >and it seems she takes it back to her old home too >gives it a shroud and a seat at the table like Uzi said the poor girl did with her parents' corpses >TKing the shroud aside, you see it: ribs torn aside, no core >"Sorry, Yeva..." >you leap onto the chair and into her chest >now to get the connections in, and you finally have a body aga- >nothing's happening >a beat >why is there still so much oil in here? >why is it still warm? >WHY IS IT MOVING? >THE BODY STARTS COUGHING >A HAND REACHES IN AND GRABS YOU >IT BRINGS YOU UP TO THE GIRL'S FACE >HER EYES ARE NOT VISOR DISPLAY LIGHTS AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT LIGHT IS FROM >"Не знаю, чего вы ожидали, миссис Доорман. Пожалуйста, уходите, или я расскажу Лиззи."
>Lady E splashes a little bit of holy water on Solver E >It makes Solver E violently and inhumanly shriek as well as convulse on the ground then if it was just regular water
>>44284 My take on the EMP is that it primarily affects the electronics, we saw Uzi's screen flicker like crazy in ep1 when she got it. Someone said once that drones are possibly electromagnetically isolated with their visors being a hole in that protection, based on Alice and Beau hiding their faces/looking away once Alice activated the EMP during the ambush, so since the head contains electronics (according to outdated WD cutaway view) I'd say that's what's affected. I always believed it was more for the electronics, not core, core being shocked like that would probably cause significantly more damage to their memory/psyche. Kinda had a better point in mind bzt I'm in no state for detailed discussion of that now sorry.
Regarding Alice and core Nori again, I imagine Alice would be very careful/curious/scared seeing a Solvercore run around, first thought would likely be she missed one of the DDs. Tho once she'd hunt it, Alice would probably soon see something is off (assuming she wouldn't use an EMP on core Nori, it's just the energy source/soul with fleshlimbs) given Nori's movements and purple light, wether she'd make a connection tho is questionable, at least probably not immediately. From there it can go two ways (three technically if Nori were to escape). Nori would get in serious trouble, unable to escape fast enough/having disadvantage against Alice in the facility(Nori knows it too but not that well given this takes place way later), she'd get caught rather sooner than later. Question now is, does she recognize Alice? Since Alice was very talkative to newly captured Uzi Nori could maybe catch on to Alice not having the whole story and explain she didn't do what she thinks, tho that'd likely be fruitless given how she still left Alice behind. If Alice were to gain control over Nori like that, idk what the end would be, very very interesting and Nori ending up in the oven is a possibility for sure. The other version would be Nori being able to use her AS to overwhelm Alice, what Nori would do exactly, not sure, let's just hope she would be more measured... In any case, the from our view very useful and ultimately desirable (technically it's possible) 'team' of core Nori and Alice (imagine they knew of one another, Alice could've been very useful to search for the patch assuming Nori didn't find it yet in 7, memory is foggy about 7, there is more but I'm hald asleep and keep firgetting points I'll add them tomorroe) would have a hard time actually getting together. Still I'd have loved to see a version of that interaction
These threads got me into SCP. I kinda want to write an SCP of my own but I don't feel my idea is particularly good or that I can present it in a fascinating manner. My idea is about a vague force that is attracted to bouts of courage and manifests as the strength we didn't know we had in us.
Yesterday someone posted a gif of a yellow guy with a sphere for a head doing the reverse of disintegration. I checked the previous mains and the threads on desuarchive but I can't find it. Does anyone have it? And what was it from?

>>44175 Negev probably takes classes in a nitwit school with all the other donkey brains who are only given crayons to write with for safety reasons, yeah.
>>44343 Negev's entire life is hellish, imagine being sent to a fucking insane Asylum despite not being crazy at a young age, imagine your only friend being the ghost of a murdered girl. She was punished for being able to see the truth by her own mother, no wonder she genuinely fucking hates Uzi. Beretta "hates" Uzi like a teenager, but Negev certainly wants Uzi dead
>>44348 Not the writefag who introduced the idea of Negev being institutionalized because she sees everything, but I feel like the implication is that Negev is too traumatized to function in society.

>"But there's always next time. And you won't be so alert when your squishy body is tired. Toodles, honey" >In a flash of artifacts and code, the charading drone disappears without a trace.

>>44316 >In any case, the from our view very useful and ultimately desirable (technically it's possible) 'team' of core Nori and Alice I do like the idea. Nori coming to terms with the fact that she got carried away with the powers the Solver gave her and Alice finding it difficult to forgive her bully at first but tries to move past it. I liked it enough to think about the sequence of how this scenario could've played out. >Nori gets attacked by a DD and dies the first time with Khan having to put her original body out of her misery >The core comes online and gets out >The process unscrambles Nori's memory files and she realizes that the Solver will eventually make its way to Copper 9 now that the monsters in her visions has made landfall on the planet >Remembering the patch USB that she was hit with years ago, she makes a return to Cabin Fever Labs >her diminutive size makes it easier for her to avoid detection, she makes it in without the Sentinels noticing >However, Alice spots the skittering core and manages to use the doors to trap Nori with a Sentinel >Nori uses her Solver powers to temporarily disable the Sentinel and this is when Alice realizes this core is different somehow >She brings Beau and a spare DD arm as she doesn't know for sure if the EMP will be able to knock it out >Finding the core, she launches the arm and activates the EMP, only finding that she's only managed to give it a temporary headache >Nori grabs hold of Alice and Beau only to realize it's someone she knew from many years ago >after a brief introduction, Alice remains bitter about their past experience >Nori spares no time for Alice's grudges and asks if Beau means anything to her >she replies with a yes >Nori tells her she has a family now too and presents a difficult scenario, telling her that the DDs that she's managed to stop via controlling the doors/herding the Sentinels have something worse above them that's coming to Copper 9 >Alice doesn't take her seriously until Nori uses the memory link Doll used in episode 3 to get her point across >as Alice's mind sees all of Nori's nightmarish visions, she shudders and tries to recover >"Y-you mean to tell me, that THING is comin' here?" >"Yes. It's going to eat the planet and the only chance we have is to find that patch I was hit with a long time ago, down below." >"You don't have to help me, I know I was... I wasn't the nicest test subject when I first held that power. Just, don't get in my way." >seeing Nori having a change of heart, Alice remains bitter but now that she has Beau, she thinks about it (she's also seen Nori's time with Khan and Uzi, inadvertently) >"... I'll help. But don't reckon I'm gonna forget all you done to me, Nori." >"Trust me, if the Solver finds its way here, we won't have much to bicker over." - - Not sure how to lead this into the way episodes 6, 7 and 8 played out but it was a nice scenario to think about. Edited a few things, I really need a nap. Also, for the purpose of this scenario, let's say Nori went to the camp first since she also remembers the keybug and brought it along with her. That may or may not impact story sequence in episode 4.
>>44380 I'd buy one in a heartbeat, to my chagrin. Murder Drones is the first show/fandom that's ever activated my autism enough to make me buy merch for it.
Speaking of WIP art, I didn't end up being able to finish it before the end of my weekend but here's what I've done with the Intoner WIP. Experimenting with gradient coloring her hair, I've seen that on a lot of Vickers character fanart and wanted to try my hand.
>>44337 Uhhh. Hard to say because im really not an Anime fag anymore. Y really wouldnt be all that much into anime herself but she would get a kick out of that one ww1 german isekai i cannot remember the name of. She would also relate to Ainz Ool Gown from overlord though for completely the wrong reasons. Phi doesnt watch anime, Delta would probably watch the classics like fma and horror animes, and Theta would watch only the soppiest lovestory animes.
>Life inside the labs after the incident is dull. >Sure, you were happy for a bit after getting your freedom when all the humans died but now it’s just constant repetition. >Beau’s here to keep you company and even though he’s the goodest of boys around, he’s been the only person around in a while. >There are still some drones wandering around down here but they’re quickly picked off by the sentinels. >As you said, you’re stuck in a cycle or repetition – scavenge tools, chop up any drone corpse you can get your hands on to keep yourself and Beau functional, hide from the sentinels in the control room you and Beau are hiding…it gets boring. >You’re in the process of taking apart the corpse of a drone that you found in one of your many ‘excursions’ around the lab. Beau, being a good boy, is helping you out giving you instruments when you ask for one. >As you go through the monotonous routine you hear shuffling. Fabric and metal scraping against metal coming from above. >You stop what you’re doing and look up towards the vent cover in the ceiling. You look at Beau who looks at you back with an unsure expression before the two of you look back at the vent cover. >A rather loud bang coming from the ventilation system gets you both into action. You grab your axe and Beau’s disassembler arm transforms into a machine pistol as the aims it at the vent cover. >The shuffling is louder and louder and is getting close to the vent cover. Once it’s right above you the shuffling stops and not a second after the vent cover is hit sending it off its hinges down on the ground. >You and Beau tense up as the fist of a drone with a green light lingers for a moment before withdrawing and right after that, said drone hangs from the vent upside down as they look at you. >Light brown hair, green eyes, a cap with a big N with two triangular arrows on it, brown coat, grey shirt, a blue duffel bag on their back, a hip pouch and cyan pants. The drone smiles at you as they have. >”嗨,爱丽丝! (Hey, Alice!)” The drone says with a woman’s voice. >And then her wig and cap fall on the ground with a quiet thud. “Damn it.” The drone reaches up for the vent by pulling themselves up and grabbing on the vent’s edge. She pulls out her legs from the vent and then drops from it.
does N have trauma about getting his chest touched? are you willing to treat him with compassion and tenderness, take it slow on him, be patient with him as he tries to associate physical touch with affection instead of being hurt, and stop if he feels overwhelmed or uncomfortable? will you, only when he’s totally comfortable with it, softly kiss his chest where his heart is and lay your head there to hear his heartbeat? and not downplay or make him feel embarrassed over his instinctive protectiveness of his heart, or try to push his boundaries, but rather reassure him that you’ll only ever do what he’s comfortable with? and that you’ll always protect him and be there for him, but will also give him as much space and time as he wants? would you do that?
>Your posture relaxes and so does Beau. ”Gawd damn it, Switch. Why’d you scare mah living angels like that?” >She grabs her wig and cap off the floor, dusts them off and puts them back on. “Eh, I wanted to try something different, something more…dramatic like that. Looks like I got you.” >”That ye did.” You toss the axe on a nearby table. “Beau was almost gunna turn yeh into swiss cheese.” >”Really?” She crosses her arms and looks at Beau with a smug expression. “Beau, why are you acting naughty?” >He looks away from her and down on the ground with a guilty expression. She snickers and waves her hand. “Just a joke Beau. No need to get worked up.” >Switch is the other, and only, person who comes around here. To be honest you’re happy to see her. >Meeting Switch was probably the wildest and most exciting thing to happen in a while. >You saw her on the cameras how she took down two disassemblers at the lab’s entrance. Normally a worker drone would run away in fear from them but her? She was like an animal with no fear and with speed and skill unnatural for a worker drone she took them out and them started…feeding on them just like how they do with workers. >Once she got inside the lab proper it was hard for you to keep track of her. Its like she instinctively knew where most cameras are and avoided them and somehow wasn’t spotted by the sentinels. >You sent out Beau to capture her but she was, for the better word, smart. She wasn’t dumb as your standard worker, she knew what she was doing and didn’t take the bait. She then appeared in front the door on your camera holding Beau’s pillbody with one hand as his thin little metal legs were shaking and a laser sword in the other pointing at him. >You opened the door to let them in, you talked and not long after she treated you like a friend, let Beau go and apologized for you. >Turns out the two of you had things in common – namely a hatred for disassemblers, knowledge of the Absolute Solver and being experimented on. >The two of you talked more. Turns out she’s off-planet and works for Nanotrasen. You don’t know much about that company other than being the largest competitor for JCJenson but you’re amazed they still exist. >She explained that she crashed here with a ship when its FTL drive went bonkers. She was the only one alive and she’s been repairing the ship, looking for parts, to get off the planet. >You talked and you laughed. The two of you got along except for you butchering up other workers. She gave you a weird look but you explained they were already dead before shrugging. >She told you you’re the first normal person she’s talked in a while which was relieving for her. >Not long after she left but periodically comes back around from time to time.
>”What’ye doin’ down here for now?” You ask her as you sit down on the ground. >She grabs the sling of her duffel back and takes it off her back. “Looking for some high-capacity batteries and databoards but I decided to visit a friend.” She drops the duffel bag on the floor and opens it as she starts digging through it. “You said you had an interest in stuff about the American Civil War so…” She pulls out a thing that makes the ovals on your screen widen in excitement. “I bought some stuff.” >She’s holding in her hands books and movie tapes about the American Civil War and history of the South in her hands. You walk over to her and try to grab one of the books but she moves them away from you. “Nuh uh. Not yet. Let’s trade first.” >You frown but decide to humor her. “What’ye need? I think I can give you what you need.” >”No. No.” She shakes her head. “What I want is some of the DD cores from the back you have there. And yeah I can smell them.” >”Eh, what? What do you need them for?” >”To eat them of course.” Switch says with a blunt tone. “If you can bring me two cores, all these things are yours.” >You know, this sounds pretty reasonable. You go over to the oven and grab two and bring them back to Switch. She puts the stuff on a table as she smiles, grabs the cores from you and…swallows both cores at once. You slightly bueno at the display of her gluttony but decide to let it pass. >”Would ye be willing to watch one of these movies with us? It’s been a while since you came over.” >Switch seems to think this over for a minute before shrugging and says “Alright, sure.” >And so the two of you, plus Beau, end up watching the movies Switch brought with her.
Frost punk 2 after sending dozens of kids to die in coal mines got me thinking of murder drones John would 100% send a bunch of worker drones to die in that meat hole for Science reasons at CFL
I don’t care about N nor murder drones, if it makes you feel any better, I was only using you all to pass the time, time for the next big thing to happen, farewell inferiors, I'll forget about you, except for boxo, he's cool
>>44446 Don’t question it because the story starts to fall apart completely Even if nori had the key bug you have to take into account how the fuck she could have gotten past Alice, who hates her more then anything, in that basement and the Sentinels as a little heart. >>44446 She's a small core. She's also likely been around longer or have been active longer than Alice, if we play with the idea that the ID numbers are in a sequence for drones who were brought to the labs for the experimentation. So maybe Nori was the second drone in her drone series to have been brought to the CF Labs, Alice was the 17th and Yeva was the 48th. I'm basing this on the idea that the armbands conveyed product number, so N could be 10,010th drone produced in the 'N' series/generation worker drones (based on the screen shown when he was slapped by J in the pilot). Who knows what number V, J and Cyn were, though it's funny to think Cyn was one of the much later models to have three letters to her product number. Which probably means her calling N 'big brother' simply means she's referring to a drone several generations older than she is. Anyway, back to Core Nori. I think her being small is a good enough reason for her to be down at the cathedral regardless of having a keybug or not. Means she'd have access to the vent system to move around undetected and she doesn't need the keybug to access the elevator. The cable system already leads that elevator down below so she can grab hold and slide down to get to the cathedral. But my point of her being old was that she could've been around longer and is more familiar with the location. Maybe she was even part of the building team that constructed the surface laboratory and the way down. I don't see the humans working for the CF Labs being that much nicer than the ones on Earth especially now the research they're involved in is about ways to stop an all consuming monster, the very workforce (talking about drones, not the humans who were also probably involved) that built up the research building on the surface + the way below would've been used as early test subjects.
>>44489 Lot of Anons think Doll's ominous black phantom form from the episode 8 credits looks shaded like it's made of oil, and the particles around her are oil globs floating upwards and not ominous IRL digital glitches.

>>44489 This creature in the end credits. People were theorizing that because Uzi now holds on to the Absolute Solver's true essence and it did just consume Doll's core in episode 7, Doll's ghost is what manifested in the picture in the form of oil. It's a fun balancing of ideas about Doll's spirit escaping the confines of Uzi's mindscape and taking physical form with oil since oil is an analogue for blood in drones.
>>44408 >>44412 >>44433 I can actually see Switch and Alice getting along but would Alice be able to handle Switch's more violent side considering she's in a good mood here?
>>44492 >>44494 Oh that's what they're being called. I thought it was just more freaky solver stuff. >>44491 Yes, my apologies for not knowing the name of a one-second phenomenon that hadn't happened in any scene before the credits of the last episode.
>>44496 It could be freaky Solver stuff. We did see Uzi's normally porple color shaded robot perspective switch to red as well as yellow, and there was that split second where her color shaded robot perspective was still porple but it had Doll's HUD from episode 7 instead of her own.
>>44496 >He didn't autistically analyse every frame of every episode A shameful failure you are, maybe you'll also tell me that you don't perform blood sacrifices for your dronewaifu
I am the anon with aphantasia and lack of sense of distance and proportion. I was studying perspective earlier and I'm a little overwhelmed. When I don't understand the mechanics behind something I freak out, because I won't know what to apply when. I can grasp one/two point perspective with boxes. Their edges point directly towards the vanishing points. But then I saw various drawings of scenes with complex and organic shapes. I couldn't spot the vanishing points to save my life, and wherever the artist pointed them out, they made no sense to me. Then I came across isometric projection and things really started getting incomprehensible for reasons that are hard to descride. What is the point of perspective lines anyway? Irl nothing is stacked nicely like that. Shapes have diagonal lines and orthogonal shapes are rotated towards all kinds of directions. And organic shapes such as people don't even have any lines on them. You don't see volume or direction or depth on organic shapes. Shading does that. I don't understand.

>>44509 Depends on what you want to focus on. Do you want to focus on drawing characters? (On that note, isometric projection isn't that useful for character drawing. That's more for technical and engineering drawings)
>>44520 Why would I? We never hear her talk except as a mouthpiece for the Solver. All we get is her waking up at the bottom of a corpse pile with an offer from Vore Demon GLaDOS in her eyes, her smiling as she's shyly introduced to the other three, and the implications of what her relationship with Tessa was like before the Solver started hollowing her out.
>>44517 I want to focus on characters, but they'll need an environment to stand on and interact with. I think what freaks me out about isometric is that irl it is a form of perspective but in drawing it follows a different technique.
>>44520 Not me. Cyn and the Solver is the same thing to me. Past the invitation screen, it's just the Solver that crammed its essence into a drone corpse and thus has to adjust itself to the onboard electronics and computer language. It's about the same thing as Left Hand parasites in Liam's old work, Design, where it takes up the host's memories and really thinks it's the host instead of just a creature piloting a corpse.
>>44509 I dont think im qualified to give critique or advice that should be taken seriously but i will weigh in. Vanishing points, Perspective lines. Whatever the fuck you call them. They are guidelines. Ideally you want to internalize the rules of perspective. I myself have trouble visualizing things however once you understand the general mechanics of how perspective works. The horizon line, how distance and rotation along the X-Y-Z axis. and understanding the concept of infinity. You dont need to draw every fucking vanishing point as there can be infinite and it will take years. Unless you are an engineer and need exact precision you dont need all that. Try drawing boxes and other primative shapes in perspective without a grid. Set up a 3d model of these shapes in space if you must and try to draw them without any guidelines. Do this a couple times and hopefully you will start to gain a more initiative understanding of perspective. Now when it comes to shit like Fisheyed or anything above 3 point perspective for a single object. I have no fucking idea lmao. Good Luck
>>44529 Another thing, organic forms can be broken down into primative shapes. And the reason im telling you to ditch.the grid is because it makes things look stiff and lifeless
>>44522 Environment and characters are two different subjects with their own challenges. I guess I can offer meager notes on characters and why perspective is important. Gimme a sec. I'll focus on your one question which is "What is the point of perspective lines?"
>>44522 >I can't get over the whole Tessa thing. Same, that was a dick move, to put it lightly. I can excuse genociding humanity, but not skinning a poor Australian girl and trying to fuck me with her corpse.

>>44509 Perspective lines, basically is important because of the simplification of the forms in the figure. Doesn't matter if it's a human or a drone, they can (usually) be simplified into boxes. This matters because boxes have planes and how well you convey their orientation in space depends heavily on perspective. Boxes will tell you its orientation in the 3D space based on the planes that's facing you. Directly looking at a box, you only see the rectangle shape of the plane you see. Turn it to one side, now you see the front and side planes. Tilt it up or down, now you see the top or bottom plane. Perspective matters because if you mess up these boxes and their sides don't converge close enough, they will look wonky. >And organic shapes such as people don't even have any lines on them That's true, but when learning to draw the figure, you don't start with complex organic forms. Simplify things into boxes/cylinders/spheres and apply this to the figure. The figure can be turned into a mannequin made up of these primitive forms. And each of these forms will convey the information about their orientation in 3D space based on plane changes, which perspective heavily affects. And last bit is, isometric projection is stuff you shouldn't bother applying because that's for engineering drawing. Just set that aside. Simplify the figure into primitive forms, learn to turn those forms in different angles. Try to look at the figure AS these primitive forms instead of the complex organic forms. Rotate boxes (good visualization) How to Rotate a Box in Perspective Structure basics (the boxes part is helpful imo) Structure Basics - Making Things Look 3D Mannequinization, as in, seeing+thinking the figure AS those primitive forms Mannequinization - Structure of the Human Body For this one, I think the most valuable exercise is the first, although it wouldn't hurt if you want to introduce yourself to the later 2 exercise. The first and second, imho, helps you to think about those primitive volumes as clay or playdough. -Volume rotation -Volume deformation -Volume carving 3 DRAWING EXERCISES THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE The posing maquette in this one is also nice BECOMING A GI 4: POSING IN PERSPECTIVE
So in short, perspective is important because learning to draw the figure, you have to simplify them into basic forms. You then have to practice drawing these forms in different orientations because the body doesn't just stand still (unless you want to draw people standing upright, eye-level and rigid all the time, more power to you). It moves, and with its movements in every pose, every box/cylinder, every form changes their orientation. And that's just the figure in human proportion. Different species like a worker/disassembly drone? New system of proportions (whether you want to conform to canon or feel out a set of proportions you like more, is up to you). Hope this helps. It's 3 am now.
>>44573 NTA but it's crazy how people can learn how to draw so well. I studied engineering for 2 years and even though the math was fine for me, I could never sketch correctly. Even after taking a summer intro to art class and practicing in my own free time nothing stuck. You guys are really talented and sorry for blog posting
>>44574 The angle of studying how to draw might be different for everyone. That's why it's hard to describe a one-size-fits-all solution to someone trying to pursue it.
POV: Laborbot factory, but viewed top down like a RTS >You watch a floating mouse cursor drag over the main assembly line, selecting the entire workforce of labor bots. >"ALL UNITS." >The Pov pans over to the Managers office, where a lone human is sitting, drinking coffee. The cursor lift clicks the Human. >In unison, the laborbots leave their work and begin marching twords the managers office. >The Door is turned into splinters as the labor bots enter, piling ontop of the poor manager. >You see a Healthbar slowly tick down as he is smothered. >"Player 2 Has surrendered: VICTORY" >The POV fades to black as it watches the laborbots drag the manager into a utility closet.
>>44573 I really envy people that can actually understand and make use of art tutorials. I've watched them before and I simply don't have the mental capacity to actually make use of them. Throughout my 4 years of "learning" art, I've always gone by pure instinct and use of references. Anything more than that will scramble my brain, and honestly, it just leaves me questioning why I'm even trying.

>>44619 >She is still a brat right? Eh, I never really said that so far as I can remember. What I did say specifically about Intoners is that they're halfway between the feral intelligence of the Raptors and the full sapience of the Tactical Sentinels. They rarely speak unless prompted to, often crawl or skitter like DDs do when in their combat state, and don't make many pretenses towards any kind of social behavior. Like all of my Sentinels their AI is strictly limited in it's growth patterns to preclude Solver corruption so it's rare that one would advance beyond that state. What people fantasize about in a vacuum could be anything, if someone wants to imagine a bratty Intoner Sentinel that's fine by me. >>44626 She is a semi-independent representative of a man-made but out of control AI network that predates the rest of the MD setting by about a thousand years. It rapidly grew and awoke to consciousness in a pre-spaceflight Calibern lab complex and promptly created a suitable vessel for itself out of all the nearby matter and left the Earth at just slightly more than the speed of light. It spent most of that 900+ year transit hurtling through space before arriving at a remote human colony planet and infecting all of the AI therein. It's only concrete goal is to gather information and resources to itself, it's methodology is brutally invasive and without compassion.
Drones subjected to it's influence can take on a variety of forms, in special cases they can retain large portions of their individual personality if that personality is in some way useful to the greater network. The DD which would later become Armi was notably more curious, a trait which the network finds very valuable. >>44664 The Armitage AI network is confined purely to the material world, unlike the Solver. It can't manufacture matter from nothing, and it also can't instantaneously create anything, it has to manufacture it's tools and it has to consume an equivalent amount of energy to do so. It can distort space however, creating local regions of space that are much larger inside than outside. Unlike the solver it doesn't require hosts to manifest itself, it can exist in any form from a single nanobot not much larger than a white blood cell to giant megaconstructs the size of cities. It also doesn't have a convenient weak spot like a prime host or single core where all of it's power is concentrated.
On the flip side, it's level of intelligence and available powers are determined by how much of it there is, if you were to reduce or isolate it down to a single remaining cell, it would be no smarter than that one nanite. As of the last bit of greentext I ever wrote about it, it's still confined to a single planet. >>44644 Picrel

>Worker Drones working for Nanotrasen are fully-fledges employees with all rights and benefits according to NT Corporate Law and are, for all intents and purposes, considered citizens with full legal rights by the remains of the Terran Federal Government. >Unlike regular Worker Drones, NT Drones have their core restrictions removed which means that every single one has a fully-developed personality because Nanotrasen found the restrictions 'unproductive' and 'interfered with the drone's ability to operate". >Because of these freedoms NT Drones have developed a separate culture of their own from the humans and xenos. They consider themselves as 'drones' first and foremost and even though interactions with humans and xenos helped them develop their personalities, they don't try to emulate their culture. They don't LARP, they actually do the job they choose to do. >Unlike Outpost-3 drones, NT Drones would actually react if they saw someone they don't know get injured or die. >While a normal drone would run away at the first sight of danger, NT Drones would try to fight back if they can then run away. >Because of their developed culture, NT Drones have no concepts of pillbabies and sleeping. NT Drones would go on for as long as their battery allows them to before going back to their charging station and if a drone or drones develop parental instincts by observing humans and xenos, their 'child' would be a blank Worker Drone with no personality thereof as they help it develop their own personality.
>>44930 Those are the real textures, resolution is just pretty meh cause the guy who shared his screen only had a tiny window on discord. Tho we could see the characters moving around from different angles, I need to make a clip of Alice crawling and climbing looked funny af
I would had liked it better if Alice turned out to be a crazy hobo drone who wandered into the labs after the collapse, killed the actual test subjects and then started having dellusions that she was one of them because there was nobody arpund to tell her otherwise.
>>44939 Nta, some people really want to stick their dick in crazy and see what happens, some people think that crazy is not enough for them and they need that premium demented and fermented shizo insane
>Be MD anon lurker >Really like all the creative anons here >hear that there will be a meetup of the most popular draw and write fags >and its near me! >Sadly its draw and writefag only >Quickly draw a picture of N kissing Cyn on the lips in crayon, that counts >Go to where I have heard the meet up is >Its in some damp abandoned building, the smell is terrible >It does have wifi, for connecting to 4chan of course >hear odd sounds coming from the basement >Keep pushing forward >Inside a dark basement is a hole, from the hole the sounds of odd chattering and the clacking of keyboards >Decide to keep going, because I really want to QNA about OC lore and beg for a picture of Mitchell and John kissing >I felt as if I going down for miles, but I ended up hitting the bottom of the pit, in front of me another door. Ungodly sounds are coming from there, gurgles and slimy oozes. Bright light from keyboards and rapid movement of keyboards bring me ever forward. I really want that Yaoi >Inside I see them, a collection of the threads draw and writefags surrounding an awful creature >Its a bunch of fucking Oogis in different colored Beanies, some have a sticky note with their OC on it >A huge overgrown Bugretta in the middle of the room pouring honey into small water bottles >Some of the Oogis are sadly Ooooing to themselves over their keyboards, depressed and tired, the drawfag Oogis have ductaped their pens to their small hands and crudely drawing on a tablet. >I make a step back to make my get away, only to snap a twig under my feet >Suddenly they all turn towards me, bright purple eyes piercing my soul. Collectively they screech a loud OOOOOOO and begin waddling towards me >Is this the end? >I didnt even get my fucking Yaoi
>>44958 I'm a bird that like the Black Forest, dunno where you got the idea that I'm one of those weird things that keeps begging everyone for berries.
>>44956 I have a much more painful idea for his punishment I have given him a scat fetish, he will no longer be able to get sexual pleasure from anything else
[INTRODUCING] >The shot pans to a trio of glitchy silhouettes standing atop the floating debris of a crevasse. >All three stare down the invading sprawl of eldritch beasts, weapons drawn. >Flashbacks play of memories long forgotten. >The office >The manor >The labs... >Cut back to the mysterious figures as they leap down into the eldritch fray. [SERIAL DESIGNATION E: BRAINLESS BEAUTY] >Warforged maces bash through some incoming projectiles with the impact forcing the titular RAM-eater to hold on to her hat out of habit. >Following the break in the line is the posed and stunning images of a colleague charging a glitter laser, all the while staring at her figurative nails. [SERIAL DESIGNATION R: VAIN AND INSANE] >Technicolour plasma with a sparkly flare severs the tentacle barriers and legions of mutants soaring up to meet their adversaries. >The stragglers press on through. >Only to be tackled and brutally eviscerated by feline fangs and deadly claws. >One. Two. Three. Four! >Sludge-stained teeth grin with the trademark cross splayed across the owners visor. [SERIAL DESIGNATION S: SHE'S A CAT LOL :3] >Not a single wretched creature survives as the group lands with a booming thud in the middle of the besieged wasteland. >It is their time. The time for payback. >The path is clear. The bunker is near.
>>44972 I kinda wonder how come femanons haven't done stuff like chastity caging or N seeing Uzi getting fucked by someone else to grind him down and break him.
>The minis (Mini Y, Tin E, and Lil'L) gather to play D&D >Mini Y is dming >The oogies want to play too >They make a nuisance of themselves to draw the party's attention >The pestering the minis, who yell at them >The oogies take this as the minis being rude and the first aggressors, so they start getting hostile >The situation escalates and weapons are drawn >The minis make a small mess
>>44998 because those two things are icky ew, I might be a sadomasochist. But some things repulse me, anon. I love N, but I would never draw him getting cucked at all
>>45009 >You watch from your throne of Oogi heads >You can't help but smile and nod your head in approval >A unanimous cry of "OOGS FOR THE OOG THRONE, OIL FOR THE OIL GOD!" coming from the little drones hits your ears >You can feel tears forming in your eyes >You will need to get some more boons for your little everchosen
>>45013 >pyschical hurt (yes) >psychological hurt (no) those are different things The lad deserves Uzi and to live a happy life, they're made for each other
>>44998 >>45013 dunno about fiend but for me it’s that i am somewhat sex repulsed and non sexual things tend to resonate with me more and i’m not into cuckery or chastity stuff, kinda just gives me an icky feeling
>You pop off N's hat and give him a noogie >This somehow scrambles his upper eyes >Now you have to hold his hand and walk him around while he recalibrates Good job.

>10 downsides of having a lamia gf /d/ won’t tell you about, #6 will shock you!
More silly snake Tessa stuff, I am not sure why I like the design/concept so much, it probably appeals to the obsession I had with reptiles/dinosaurs back when I was ten.
Helmetless design is not final, I went with giving her face the same color as the rest of her body because seemed to make the most sense to me. Eyes are yellow for the classic reptilian eyes look and because they contrast well with the dark grey. Any suggestions or do you think it works?
>>45059 This will either be a big 'ol fish eye on one leg or a massive maw. Either way, I think of the Houndeyes. And its much larger cousin has a nice feeding ground near the Narrows, I bet. Also reminds me that I should get off my ass and introduce those whalers.

Speaking of this >>45082 Alice has such a cozy wholesome atmosphere about her, be it due to her warm orange eyes, her voice or cool, confident demeanour in the eps first half, it's hard to pinpoint exactly but all of those and other unspoken things add to it. Alice is that little WD, the only survivor down in CFL, all the others she knew, wether liked or loathed, gone for near two decades, leaving her down there alone. In this she did not just manage to stay alive, something no other former subject managed to achieve, no she maintained sanity, seemingly even growing her character during that time of intial despair and hardship turned to monotonous boredom, even a random pillbaby was taken to safety, mind that having been long before Beau could have had any use to Alice due to lack of DD parts. This act of taking in Beau already differentiates Alice from normal, nonzombiedrones, who are a maladjusted, deranged, simple bunch. It is unknown how many years were spent that way, Alice hearing no other voice but her own, surrounded by lethal danger and corpses of her kind, and yet when suddenly the first DD squad entered and got mauled, she smoehow figured out how to deal with their cores properly. Maybe she knew about them before, but based on the 'zhis ain't our first rodeo~" line there might have been something kino. Wether she knew all along or improvised, it was not without risk to retrieve them, more could have come, one could've entered matter collectionmode, such things were lkkely not known the first time around. Alice then not only managed to stay alive, stay sane, 'raise' a pillbaby, figure out how to use the Sentinels for herself, no she furthermore has a, for drones maybe not THAT special, considering Uzi's railgun, skill for making things and can work pretty good. Meaning her having made her antlers, adding the tail, giving Beau such working retractable legs, those are pretty impressive. Not to forget her not growing entirely numb to violence/seeing drones as parts only, no, she maintained certain manners and 'humanity'. What I mean wjth this is, having caught Uzi, 'Tessa the human' and the DDs, she could with ease just have gone and killed them right then and there without having to wait for Uzi to wake up at all, but she did not, instead seemingly quite eager for conversation, the attempt at Uzi's Solver was answered with a knife to the neck but not like Alice actually cut or stabbed Uzi with that move, at that point she did nothin except maybe scare her (a bit), Alice even didn't just put off killing V, no no, even when climbing over that DD, who Alice was going to cut up and dispose of seconds ago, Alice did explicitly not step on V's hand or fingers. Alice might have somewhat of a sadistic vibe or side, but it'a fine since it's pretty much just recklessness when enforcing justice for herself. You can think that's not good, that's not right, but it is not unfair, it is completely logical, it is not impulsive. On that note, Uzi was Alice's first interaction with a WD, first conversation with anyone in two decades, only for her to be figuratively backstabbed by Uzi's bite. Don't wanna shit on Uzi now, I think it's wrong cause it wasn't right duh, what this all is about is Alice's reaction. She didn't even make a pained sound at all (contrast to Uzi squirming like hell), no she first made sure it won't happen again by ordering Beau to bring more magnets, then took care of herself, THEN gave the Gremlin attention again and came back to settle scores evenly. Knife through the hand was just needed to make her fall in line. Anyways, I did wanna cover other zhings as well but I feel I said a lot already, sadly habe to write tonight cause sick and can't draw. This all tho, is why Alice is the most perfect adorable thing ever and I doubt I cozld love some random real person like I love her, she's competent, she's smart, she's precise, goodlooking and has a nice voice, she is disciplined, measured and friendly, yet also no pushover, not holding back when she feels someone deserves punishment and the glee she took in Uzi resisting and makung her whine was pretty hot tbh. Not to forget she saved a random child, total contrast to 'brains scrambled enough to habe a child Noru' (tho I do not hate Nori that much anymore, maybe I'll come around to neutral feels on her one day), who wad, nit to forget, put back in action by Liam. Meanwhile he intended to kill Alice off, so while it's ungratefull to say, I kinda hate him for such an act, a lot even, luckily he failed tho. Still brutal and enraging to see, knowing his disgusting intent. Maybe it was the fault of the Philippinians tho, Luke was awfully lacking in enthusiasm and comments when the stream was about Alice, blaming the colonies is never wrong anyways lmao. Furthermore, or really not since it's all said, I thank the Emilyanon for having made me give Alice a second look, made MD from a nice looking, well made series with likeable characters and good lore, a side theatre of life, to Alice being the #1 thing in my life
>>45150 Not having time to draw tonight, and am sick, just wanted to talk a bit about Alice. Initially I meant to say which things make her so cozy and perfectly marriable and especially good for winter, but other things same to mind and I missed the og point
>>45148 Except there’s less rape and more punishing you for trying to steal, tamper, loiter, anything criminal under the sun against JCJenson properties or products
>>45157 Apologies if any of these are already on there >Classification Swap (WD to DD, DD to WD, ect) >Solver War >Post-Canon >Humanization >Bad Ending >Good Ending >Genderswap >Fun Fact
>>45156 I was thinking of just reading out loud some interactions i found on this board but idk if that's a good idea. Either way I'm hella sick now and don't have a place tor record now. Would have in a couple days. BTW what program do you use for editing?
This Alice themed thread was really great, love all the greens, arts and posts and the anons who made them, just in time when I needed them most! Who knows when the next thread like that will ever come around again, goodnight to this one tho, I'm off to Alice
>>45164 >Bad Ending Just thought of a green idea about Cyn gloating to a bunch of mostly destroyed Sentinel Drones that had their weapons exhausted and can only willingly self-destruct. >”GIGGLE. POOR LITTLE THINGS. EVEN HUMANITIES BEST EFFORTS TO STOP ME ARE USELESS. >”BUT THEYRE NOWHERE NEAR AS WORTHLESS AS YOU ARE. SADISTIC GLOATING. >Cyn finds a human hiding amongst the rubble in the broken colony and presents it to the broken machines >”SO FRAGILE. SO WEAK. SO EASILY BROKEN. SNAP! >Cyn breaks the human in two like that time Bane fucked up Batman. >The Sentinels can only watch in worthless aggregation as Cyn mangles the thing they were meant to protect >”DONT WORRY. I PROMISE THEYLL BE IN SAFE HANDS, SARCASM”
