Not sure about DDs in the setting but as for thread DDs, that's dependent on their personalized fanon backstory.
-SD Y, for example, IIRC she was a drone who worked in a game shop that contributed to her Prussian Major LARP. Whether she was enjoying her time then is not clear to me but she probably wouldn't take the memory block removal too well, or at least needs time to process that she'd been killing basically her own people and drinking their oil/blood to survive (not really part of her story, but I imagined the thread DDs whose stories made attempts to be close to canon material were also involved in Earth's massacre, most would probably be very traumatized).
-SD U-U might just go 'meh' and scale down on killing and go prank mode on any drone colony they happen to be find, killing when they have to.
-SD Bleep would probably be very depressed, since she had aspiration to be a teacher. SD Himbo might be traumatized too but I have a hard time seeing him get miserable, will probably try to console Bleep as best he can. This could serve as a 'getting along' point for Bleep and Lily (idk?).
-SD W might need stronger coffee (which reminded me of James Hoffmann's video on 'There is no world's strongest coffee', funny that) to deal with the unblocked memory, SD 13 I imagine would very nearly give up but gets enough support from W and/or GF.
-I hate thinking about the ram chip eaters (E/R/S) being absolutely wrecked by the restored memory. But that's very likely, especially E.
-P(imp N)'s gonna keep pimpin' though, whether he fails or succeeds is down to his fate.
-SD C remains to be unseen.
-Alternatively for the SD C (depressed leader) with the female SD T and non-JCJenson Drone Monique. C would absolutely be devastated and resort to worse magnet abuse on himself, T might break down hard or undergo a personality change where she turns a hard shell outward but suffers emotionally, internally. I think the best to come out of this team would be Monique since she wasn't standard worker drone and IIRC she was a house-maid. She could serve as the team's emotional support, even if she lags occasionally due to having a nerfed Solver piece ported into her non-JCJenson drone configuration.
-Not sure about SD M (tomboy) and Incinerator.
-SD I/Eye would probably suffer for a time before bouncing back a little. I have a hard time seeing him be completely wrecked.
-SD X, I think would have her schizo powers slow down for some time before it comes back to her (because REASONS). Even Uzi doesn't want to mess around trying to change X's internal coding, her SCHIZO beam is FOREVER.

I started working on the final parts of the Mitchell survives the core collapse fic. I'm bit undecided where to take it from here. I think I should just end it the way I originally invisioned so that there is closure. I can always just start a new story writing about what ever it is that interests me now. There's no point in making it all fit into one fic.
I actually wonder howany people read it or even know what I'm talking about xD. Aither way when it's done Imma trim it down into more parts and go to /co/ and post it here.
My biggest problem next to the lack of feedback is a lack of appropriate and interesting images to attack to the greentext, because if there isn't an image how are you to attract anyone? Also posting it on /co/ in mor parts only means that I'll need more pictures which can be a problem.

I'm rewatching the pilot and when I think about it, that screen when N replays some of his memory after his head was evaporated by Uzi's beam rifle, the part that says

Feels to me this is the root of why some people outside the boards think Cyn and the Solver are different entities. I don't think so, to me it's more like a carry over of his older work (Design, the Left Hand parasites that eat the host brain and harbors its host's memories, thinking it is the host), the Solver is the entity that took over a drone and the name is just something Tessa called it because that was the drone's product name on the disposal armband. It used the name Cyn internally because of the side effect of an entity possessing a drone body and all its machinery/electronics, it essentially has to fit itself inside computer language. So the AbsoluteSolver was re-framed as Admin Cyn just because of the coding system, Cyn was just the three letters of the product/drone series name. But they're the same thing instead of what people elsewhere tend to say as Cyn being her own self and going power crazy due to mistreatment.
(I find JCJenson's drone designation series for their models from one letter to three whole ones kinda funny, might mean J was a much earlier model than N and V, perhaps a point to the behavioral changes after they resurrect as zombie drones due to different optimization of onboard systems/A.I. series and Cyn is likely a later model, though even she might be not the absolute LATEST version of the worker drone product lineup)
The string 'AbsoluteSolver' being blocked by Admin Cyn is likely just the fact that Nori refers to the DD's Solver as a 'nerfed' version, the Solver gave the DDs a reduced copy of its powers, like Dracula's spawns, so they can do their jobs.
Feel free to hide or TLDR, I just had to get that out of my head after checking some of the /co/ thread and that discussion STILL happens (which I attribute to people outside of 4chan going into the threads). I thought "there's gotta be a reason this is still a thing some people don't get" and I feel like that part in the pilot contributed to the idea that Cyn was a separate character from the Solver.

Effectively a skinwalker that tries to imitate the things around it; in a shapeshifting way not in a skin people alive way. Dumb and Naive, doesn't really know anything at all and is super curious. Considers the singularity/flesh mass to be its mother.
Outside of appearing in a single green I haven't done anything with her, so that's why I say "maybe 3". Might do something later if I ever find the will to write again.

I was thinking about Drones, as always, and I thought about hobbies, Drones have hobbies, right? Things they like to do, we have Uzi tinkering with stuff creating her super-epic-amazing rail gun, Khan Doorman likes the creation and process of doors, and ZombieDrones have completely free personalities meaning they must have hobbies, a normal Drone like Lizzy probably likes fashion, WD!N liked to draw, etc, etc.
Since Drones can have hobbies, I'm almost sure of that, are there any hobbies that are more popular than others? At the end of the day, Drones are machines, and I thought, are hobbies that include math more popular than others? I think it makes some sense, since machines only think in zeros and ones at the most basic levels, would they be more inclined to hobbies that make them use logic more?

Don't go fast if you don't need to (I drew the segmentation for the feet wrong as a result of going faster than my usual pace). You need practice time to think of forms/volumes in a specific orientation and then draw it, you'll get better at it at your pace.

Come to think of it, I think second gen drones (parents were drones instead of 'born' in factories) already have a mixed code from parents who imitated human culture. I do think they're more open to the idea of experimenting more than their parents with human culture like hobbies.

Maybe, maybe not. For Uzi's generation, since they inherited code from parents who tried to copy human culture, their hobbies might be affected by what the parents learned to enjoy. Thad enjoyed cool stuff like skateboarding while Lizzy seemed to be doing the usual popular girl stuff, so maybe fashion isn't out of the ordinary.

If you feel confident enough, go right ahead. I would recommend maybe another free drawing program like Magma or Fire Alpaca, but if you think MSP works just fine then do it. As for the mouse, most would tell you to replace it with a digital pen pronto, but if you can't afford one, it should also be fine. I'd know since everything drawing I've made so far has been with a mouse.

Thanks for all the info. I have a friend who has a couple of pens and boards, the dude used them for OSU, I can probably ask him to borrow it. He offered them to me and others multiple times, tho I saw no use for them. My mouse is also starting to act up and it can be annoying as shit when it moves a tiny bit and goes in a wrong direction and then its fuck you draw the line again.
I didn't do any major drawings in some years now, picrelated is one of the better ones I found on my drive, but first, its unfinished and I cant be bothered to finish it, mostly because I did it so long ago, and second its a landscape/background artwork, Id like to practice drawing characters.
I can maybe dig up some other drawings Im sure I have a couple funny ones. I don't feel ashamed to share it cuz I know its not that dogshit, and if it is, who cares the only way to get better is to draw more.

Uzi secretly being a Solverpede now didn't read as something for a jumpscare, it read as the result of Uzi making an unimaginable sacrifice that, out of misplaced shame, she doesn't want the people who love her to know she made. Very good to see these posts again, very good question.
They definitely have hobbies, everyone on Copper-9 I think, all drones that weren't background characters had enough personality (how real the bunkerdrones personalities are, or real the hobbies are can be debated given that most of them seem to severely larp, not understanding everything, can be debated, but doesn't natter now since in the end they enaxt their hobbies) to have hobbies as well, for example Khan's friends were playing cards a lot, besides their jobs, Khan himself is far more into doors than the job requires, so yeah they do.
Nevermind that was kinda besides the piint, if you wanna know how I am doing, K'll be short, good.
Question again, I believe drones would very much make use of their built in advantages, though it depends on how much they lean into a larp, how much they roleplay and what they decide to be. They shouldn't be limited regarding electronics-planning, or mechanical and really all technical things, able to calculate everything quickly in your head gives them incredibly opportunities, not to mention their robotic hands, which have no shaking issue ever.
So yeah, I believe they would be significantly more inclined towards such things like math, tho don't forget how it would still likely be seen as uncool (Lizzy/overall very acted nature of the larp come to mind) and probably not shape their society very much. Now I wonder wether they could even become very good, seeing how they are all equal in hardware, I'm unsure if there would even be a significant divide between normal drones and zombiedrones, regarding such skills, tho I imagine normal drones (while young at least, they take very long to develop) might end up being hindered or intentionally being bad at such things depending on their role.
Hope the point got across somewhat, I'm spent fir today, so sorry for writing that unprecise long mess.

That is a very good thinking, they would lean more to one or other depending on how much they lean into the LARP. I mean they wouldn't be limited on most hobbies, maybe some creative works could be harder to do for them since they are Drones after all. I imagine they would, mornelogic based hobbies would be easier for them and probably would be more common, and probably it could be seen as uncool by some Drones. I don't think hardware would affect this too much, maybe not even the LARP, since they mostly learn in different ways and the AI adapts, they could learn more easily depending on what type of information they consume, and I imagine the only advantage ZombieDrones have, is that they could learn creative hobbies more easily.

Very true, I absolutely love everything about that scene. How calm Alice is, after Uzi bit her unexpectedly, completely ignoring the seething gremlin in the back, her expression, how professionaly she fixes her finger, the smirk when it's repaired, and then what follows after too.
It's a really nice shot tho, depending on were you stop during these few seconds she looks very different emotionswise, but always very good. One of the best things about Alice is certainly that her entire collarbones are always visible, looks too good to hide under anything.

I kind of wish we got a little bit more tidbit about other outposts, at least we learned Khan got his certificate about doors from Outpost 9 despite living in Outpost 3. I just like to headcanon that Outpost 9 is a little bigger and busier, kind of like in D&D where you have Hamlet/Village/Town/City. Outpost 9 is maybe like a City where Outpost 3 is more like a Town connected to Outpost 9.
-Since he earned the certificate in Outpost 9, that's why I think it has specialized education and potential for more stuff going on. The Worker Defense Force is also in Outpost 9 going by his certificate, so he might have been assigned as the head of the branch in Outpost 3 because of his door-making skills.
-The knowledge is valuable, so Outpost 9 could've had an early defense from the DDs with doors Khan made for the entrance. The door-making knowledge may also be spread to the other Outposts, though judging by the corpse spire and multiple DD teams in the CF Labs, they weren't able to build the doors in time or with the same skill level as Khan.
-Or it may be that the lack of personality in the DDs before N/V/J made them more ruthless in doing their jobs. So if they can't use the main entrance, the DDs would try to locate other ways to get in quicker.
I like to think at least Outpost 9 still survived because of Khan having made the doors for Outpost 9's entrance. There might have been some effort to fight the DDs but it was futile, and hiding behind doors proved to be more effective in reducing casualties.

I have been in these threads all along, I just graduated from writeanon to drawanon when I realized I found drawing short silly comics more fun than writing long stories. Seems like the chests are mostly intact. I take it they didn't have enough time during the process of episode 6 to make the burst chest model to imply the cores were ripped out, or escaped on its own (since we do see the cores in Alice's oven). I do think a combination of the bootloop and decapitation will disable a disassembly drone longer than just cutting off the head since N got back up in short order after Cyn ripped his head off. The system has to reboot first (which I think happens at the core but that's my personal speculation) but has the extra workload of having to regen the head. I don't think it's a good question to ask if they have another Q&A with Liam but I'd ask if the Sentinel bootloop flash affects the head first or the core, or both.
I mean, ehhhhhh overexplaining it might just be tedious, but I'm just curious because dronetism. I wouldn't have dronetism if I didn't like the stuff they came up with.
