Hello Friends, good morning, evening, or night! I hope you are doing well today, because today we are going to keep talking about Drones like we have always been doing since we saw the series for the first time, probably. Okay, let's keep talking about Drones. The goods in the Booru: https://dronebooru.co The advanced wheel with OCs: https://wheelofnames.com/z8q-2mf And it's modifier: https://wheelofnames.com/4h8-fyf The informational OC wiki: https://dronebooru.co/wiki_pages/original_character The last Thread: >>184293
There was some Jane Trio OC brain storming last night about some characters world building for them that I thought I should share here >Favorite Foods During and Pre war (all time) War time Jane: grilled cheese Bonnie: pancakes Abby: leftover Chinese food (she gets the same thing every time, general (she like spicy food) and noodles with an egg roll) Past they got to eat Jane: medium rare steak that was left out in a dumpster once Bonnie: pancakes again (simple woman) Abby: lamb Tbf Abby’s favorite food now would mostly like be Flesh, but I don’t think she cares where the flesh comes from. Just that it’s flesh. I suppose woman flesh is better then man flesh because it’s one step close to eating Jane (derogatory)
I bet eating Jane would be exquisite for a mutant, all that stress and failure sweat marinated her Her favorite organ to eat is the kidney I imagine that’s the tastiest organ at least Heart must be pretty good as well Lungs and stomach are kinda bleh, the intestines are nice tho
Bonnie ate a chocolate hotdog once and almost puked, then kept eating it
Jane was a poor, neetoid, and overdrawn college student, the best thing she ever ate was a steak that was thrown out of a fancy enough restaurant. No one knows how she got into college, I think she walked in one day and no one questioned it. Almost got her degree to.
Bonnie was too simple good for this world, her favorite food was just pancakes because they tasted good. Pure childlike whimsy. Idk why lamb for Abby other then it sounds fancy and she’s a ginger I think gingers like lamb. I’m almost tempted to say Abby’s favorite food is something uncharacteristically trashy but I can’t think of anything like that other then a super greasy burger thats so unhealthy it could kill a horse
Despite her attitude I like to think Abby was never actually allowed into any kind of high society or classy establishment further elevating her resentment. Despite her attitude she was never actually all that welcome in society much like Jane but unlike Jane she had some form of dignity and wasn’t about to dumpster dive for food, Which makes her even more mad Jane was doing pretty well for herself when society collapsed relatively speaking
Abby pretends she had a better life then she actually did, making up stories of going and eating fancy food, Her social media profile was full of photos of other peoples food. She got endlessly upset on the inside. if Jane pushed back on her at all
“So yeah I got the flaming tiger roll with a super sulfate twist there once it was pretty immaculate, captured the subtle dreams of a warm summer day” Abby desperately trying to speak like what she thinks rich people sound like “But what did it actually taste like” Jane scratching herself or something
Abby on the outside: "Haha, of COURSE you wouldn't know what a warm summer day tastes like Jane, you eat expired fast food!" Abby on the inside: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>>185264 Mutation is zombie like infection from contact with the environment or mutants, I don’t think it’s airborne given we don’t see anyone wear gas masks
>>185240 Bonnie’s character needs more exploration Is she just an Angel sent to this world or something? A pure being that was crushed under the boot of an uncaring universe? Or is there something more to this forced happiness
>>185270 >Bonnie actually never knew Jane >Bonnie just saw that weird girl staring at her from across the room throughout her school life and short-lived military career >It's not like Bonnie didn't try to speak with or connect with the weird girl, but whenever she tried Jane would just scurry away >Little did Bonnie know that she was Jane's lover and greatest friend within Jane's own mind atleast....
>>185264 Jane's a mutant-just one with a thin layer of un-Solverized human over her eldritch meat-as of the present day, so that could be how it happened.
>>185273 from the looks of where V is angled, and the position the big man got her in, gotta get space pirate rush, her head will end up as shredded cheese
>>185275 Gay and lame, bonnie and Jane love is pure and Bonnie approached Jane. Jane was too rat to believe she was unlovable before bonnie gave her a chance
>>185267 Personally I like to think there’s several vectors of infection, mostly involving “““voluntarily””” getting solver shit inside your body (a sort of loophole in the classic “vampires can only enter your house if they’re invited” belief) That includes: >breathing in spore-like particles in the air for a prolonged period of time (bad) >getting said spore-like particles into your wounds (worse) >eating the solver meat-root shit growing around the place (oh shit nigger what are you doing) spore density is a big factor for a successful infection, and they tend to be spread about by the wind pretty thin, so gas masks aren’t an “always” thing unless they’re heading deep into a city with solver creep that’s still actively sporing. mutants are typically covered in the spores on account of showers being a bygone thing in overtaken cities, so being attacked by one has a solid chance of turning you into one. of course this is just my take, your perspective of threadlore can be whateeeeever you like.
>>185282 Obviously, it couldn’t be purely healthy because of both people and their faults however, I like to think it was a pretty good relationship that even after the war would’ve ended up well for both people until death however because of the war, it ended tragically I think thinking that it was a purely toxic relationship against the effect of the tragedy and his overall words for the story even if it’s her shit post
>>185245 >J digs herself into an even bigger hole by ripping down Tessa’s spaceship doors once she realizes her mistake. >This sends Tessa into a panic attack alongside her grief.
>>185270 I'd always wanted to explore Bonnie's character and tried to when I first introduced Stone, but thought associating him with her would make it seem like I'm trying to replace Jane, so I abandoned the concept pretty early on

After everything I did, the years spent on this frozen wasteland of a planet killing those toasters and you're just going to fire me?" >J shakes her head. >"You-I, no I am tired playing these games Cyn. You aren't Tessa, you know that I know she's dead. Are you trying to hurt me? There's nothing left in me you can break, so STOP PRETENDING!!!" J screams. >Tessa's body is cold, colder than she has ever been in her life and it's not from the icy temperate of this planet. >Her breathes come out in shudders as she tries to compose herself and think of a proper response. >Tessa fails. >J looks at her with Fear? Concern? It doesn't matter to Tessa anymore. >Coming here was a mistake, both for her and for J.
Okay, in light of how robot genetics seems to work, I've broken down how much the Doorman kids in the main Post-Good Ending take after what parents: >Beretta is damn near a clone of Uzi, just like Uzi is damn near a clone of Nori >Mac is about equal parts N and Uzi; he begrudgingly and out of a sense of obligation does almost anything! >Negev is mostly N, but transformed into a Doorman woman goblin by having N's autism supplemented with Uzi's autism

mediocre solber war green >"Can we stick here for a while? I don't think it's getting any better." >In the mold-filled corridors of an abandoned apartment building, two soldiers find temporary asylum from the gibbering, wailing hordes outside. >One lies wounded on the bed, a warm compress applied to his eye. >The other, sat at a desk, desperately operates her radio, trying to get a signal to her superiors. >"It won't get any better. Not without us." she says, briefly pausing her frustrated tweaking of the dials. "It's our duty to fight the good fi--" >"Sh-shut up. Don't give me that crap. We're practically nothing but statistics waiting to happen." The wounded man hissed, not even turning his head away from the ceiling to face her. "And you know I meant my eye, dumb-fuck." >The radio-lady swivels around in her chair. >A deep, long-repressed sigh is released from her lungs. >"Right, right. Protocol says that if we can't get radio contact within 3 hours, we have to head back to base. Them's the rules. When we get back, we'll get it scooped out and replaced with a bionic. Don't get your hopes up on it being any good." >Groaning, the man rises halfway off the bed, one hand still pressing the rag to his face. >"They're probably fucked anyways if we're not getting their calls." He whines through grit teeth. "Something got to them. We'd be marching into our own graves." >A loud CRASH shakes the building as a mutant, fused to their own car, rams straight through the formerly barricaded front door of the apartment complex. >The panicked howling and staccato footsteps of the afflicted flooding their way inside echo up to the room the two soldiers are encamped in. >... >"That sounds like our cue to leave." She says, yanking the wounded man up onto his feet. "Get your shit together. Best get a move on before it gets late and the flyers come out." >Right. Those drones... They put them on a tight time limit. >The soldier lady turns to grab her equipment... >"Wait." The man says, poking her on the back. "Can you... see how bad it is?" >"...Sure...?" >He slowly lowers the rag, wincing as it droops to reveal not an eye, but a hideous, fanged mouth. A thin, sinuous tongue coils out to sniff the air... >"O-oh, shit!" The woman spins around, nearly losing balance as she reaches for her handgun, foolishly left on the desk. >But it's too late. >The mouth that was formerly an eye widens, splitting the man's face in two with an awful wet sound. >He involuntarily lunges forward, taking a bite out of his fellow soldier's shoulder. She screams as she is forced downwards by more than just two hands... >The thin tongue runs itself around inside the wound. It tastes wrong. Awfully wrong. And yet he cannot find the urge to vomit, no matter how much he wants to. >His remaining eye weeps as he uncontrollably tears deeper into his comrade, her struggling abating as he rakes her neck with his teeth... >A gurgling rises from his throat as he tries to speak, his words warped and inhuman. >"I'M sOrRY, i'M soRry, I'm SOrrY.. I C-CaN't hhhElp mMYself...!" He chokes out... >...Unknown to either of them, someone is listening. >In the darkest room, a radio - framed with gore - broadcasts the sounds of the violence between them. >And nothing is said in response. >Nothing... but a [GIGGLE].
>>185344 >>185347 >J starts sobbing uncontrollably in front of Tessa. >Tessa pulls out a small music box, one of J's favorite toys back in the manor. >She plays the gentle tunes to calm J down. >Eventually, the two are just sitting around the small box, listening to it's song. "J, I'm not Cyn, it's really me, Tessa" Tessa said slowly. >"No." J mumbled while curling into herself. "Crikey, what did I get myself into?" Tessa thought. >J needed someone just like she did, J was also so alone, so sad and afraid. >But her presence was making J's mental state worse. >Tessa didn't know what to do. >So she wrapped her arms around J.
>>185380 NTA but... >V would certainly posture for a fight but would likely not make the first move >N is the least likely to initiate a fight and would likely defer to Uzi's reaction >Uzi is a coinflip; She would almost certainly know that Tessa isn't a revived Cyn (considering that Cyn is still actively trapped inside her mind palace) but at the same time she'd likely consider Tessa to be some sort of trap/ruse born of Solver Shenanigans

>>185414 >Emily keeps hoverhanding you >Lizzy draws smut (smut by drone standards) of you, as a wolfman, having immoral makeouts with her >Doll likes you because something about you makes her feel bubbly and outgoing again and invites you to dinner with her and her parents (but weren't her parents murdered...?)
>>185384 >Uzi jumps at J and Tessa >Lel Epic fight ensues >Tessa gets injured from the scuffle; with her spacesuit being ripped. >Hearing Tessa's cries of pain and seeing her bleeding causes everyone to pause. >J grabs Tessa and immediately runs into the spaceship. >Tessa is in stable condition but needs time to recover. >J is livid and almost actually murders Uzi
>>185438 i think Abby's way too far gone for surgery to correct. Even shit like Meeny might be deeply embedded into her brain under the surface and end up killing her should they try excising it.
>>185439 ideally she'd just magically go back to normal after the solver was contained, or failing that have Uzi magic away her mutations. if neither happened: the easy parts would be her right arm and left lower leg– those could just be amputated and replaced with bionics (assuming they didn't have the tech to clone limbs) the hard parts are her face, waist, and left thigh. best case scenario they're effectively an exoskeleton that can be removed, after which she'd have to undergo extensive reconstructive surgery. if those parts of her body have been replaced by drone parts wholesale, the best you could do was clean her up as much as possible and get rid of the growths– but she'd never even come close to looking like herself again.

>>185497 What bothers me about some sides of the fandom is that he's either too caring or too violent. I like the themes where he could ask Uzi for consent or being too caring about her, he cares about her and will die for it. Not forgetting the fact that he's a murdering machine and committed countless acts of genocide or violence, he's not naive nor innocent, he can do evil acts to protect himself or his beloved ones.
I do enjoy the themes where this could be explored in some sort of detail, not overly exaggerating, but simply, it gets tiring of always watching the golden lad being nice; Let him get angry, let him cry, let him feel real, have his own struggles, his own nightmares, his own healing.
My internal hatred is increased as the need for more information about the goobers is needed.
>>185513 >he's not naive nor innocent He is in the pilot, man just believed some random small drone was a new recruit no questions asked. >his beloved ones. You mean Uzi, he really only cares about her and maybe V

>>185526 >N is heavily associated with dogs. >He abandons his team at the first chance >He kills his "owner". >He disobeys his master What does this mean?
>>185520 >>Dumb puppy love butler N becomes the main Solver host At that point, it's not N anymore. It's the Absolute Solver tear-assing around charted space in a brand new N suit.

>>185527 I'd say yes and no. They were manor drones, with pre-programmed functions. After they were pulled out of the corpse pile, they developed their own personality on the manor with what they saw or Tessa gave to them. They only do what they knew back in the manor. >>185528 If that's the case, do dogs rebel too? Don't you have a dog that did rebellious things? Escaping your home, munching on home objects.

>Alright boys, this is Sentinel command with a crash course on abilities. Due to the strange nature of Sentinel compatible cores, many odd traits often take effect when the upgrade is completed. Some say it’s the slight nanotechnology mingling with the unique core energy, others say it’s a secret design feature from the blueprints, and others say it’s an “Opposite” to Solver juice. Whoever came up with that should be fired. Anyways. >For some reason, many Sentinels manifest abilities and traits that are not in their original design plan. Ivory’s size and strength, for example! It’s like her body actively wanted larger parts to contain its energy. Or Hawk’s (God rest his soul) signature superheated punch, passed on to his wife. While these traits are actually easily understood on a technical level, as to how it manifests we’re not quite sure how to pinpoint. Some Sentinels just take to certain upgrades exceptionally well, others just randomly manifest a seemingly supernatural power that’s actually just science when you get down to it. >Shit’s whack.

I got bored and decided to (very crudely) draw my own personal take on Abby (which is borderline unrecognizable.) Across lost cities she slithers, devouring those who take up arms in the name of mankind, their flesh, minds, and souls being assimilated into her length, trapped within her slit underbelly and across her back, never to rest. All to feed her desire for revenge. She will not stop feasting - she will not stop growing - not until she can reach out and pluck that bastard Jane from the heavens above.
anyways its fucking ungodly late and hopefully this doesnt get lost in the wee hours of the morn'. g'nite.

This is headcanon territory but besides fans working through a drones mouth, these other in the chest could work via the neck and possible gaps between the chestshell and black waistcover, potentially even letting more light in the drones colour shine out there if she gets too into it. Or literal steam, like mercurial often draws... Alice shouldn't melt, while she is a ZD which at least takes away worries of her dying from anything lesser than core destruction she still can't generate and melting would be super hard to fix. How about condensation? Not just steam out of joints, steamy air, but in contrast have that condensate on other parts, or afterwards even, soaked though in any place and everyway. Imagine her hair...I think since drones' heads are pretty much empty on the inside above their mouth except for oil, that they serve largely for cooling, Alice's screen would get really warm, her saliva too, her tongue too, imagine those eyes getting brighter with all other lights....🔥🧡🔥😩 This is really nice Adapter or flat underside aside, both is great, but such dronespecific features are the hottest stuff ong⚡✨🔥

All our old contentfags will be back, and there will be lots of new contentfags. Autism will flow, we'll create new OCs again, and reminisce about old OCs, write huge multi-part greentexts, and project our creepy fetishes onto characters. And of course there will be a huge amount of fucking drama, where can we go without it.
Sooner or later that day will come, so I'm completely calm.

Losing interest in a show that is over and not getting new official content is normal. It's not pleasant, of course, but it's a fact, but you can't forget the impact Murder Drones had on all of us and on Liam. Think of it as a cultural layer: thirty years may pass, Liam may come up with dozens of new shows, but the influence of Murder Drones will always be there.
>>186000 >just as long as he actually finishes them... I think this experience has dissuaded Liam from doing things he's contractually obligated to finish even after he gets bored.
I do not understand these fears, it is not like drones suddenly get any worse or disappear, I can still notice it all getting better monthly. This place will unironically never die, but if you all jump ship for the next show just because the last episodes release date will be closer to present I'd be disappointed
