A few years after the defeat of solver, Danni for whatever reason, someone was able to be technically reincarnated into the body of the drone that killed him

They have been talked about for the last couple of days, they are the central characters of veterans AU - a universe where after the war with solver there is a huge number of veterans that are very unhappy with the policies implemented by the new government(the Federation is died), like integrating disassembler drones into society and making it mandatory to marry drones to get good benefits(many veterans are disabled. For obvious reasons).

DDanni(real name Danni) and Buddy are best friends, incredibly close, literally brothers. They served together during the solver war, and one nasty day Danni was eaten alive, to prolong his agony, by a female DD, right in front of Buddy's eyes, that he himself was forced to flee to save at least his life. This led to hard psychological trauma and very serious PTSD to Buddy, with subsequent nightmares and horrors. But Danni is back. After the events of the main show, the core of that DD escaped from Alice's furnace, but the personality of the original DD was so damaged that the core downloaded Danni's personality that was stored in it, and thus he ended up alive, but in a female disassembler drone body. DD's body, however, still made adjustments to DDanni's mind: he remembers in great detail how he was devoured, and he remembers perfectly how DELICIOUS he was.

They're trying to live a normal life, how they able in this situation.

I had this autistic idea of Twilight Zone/Outer Limits/Night Gallery-ing up Murder Drones, and first thing that came to my head: instead of little friend-shaped bots being the prey of the robo-vampires, it's robots who look outwardly identical to humans and it turning out they're all robots is one of those twists that the characters all knew already but not us and it recontextualizes the entire story when we learn it at the end of the episode.
