My Friends I hope you are having a good night, mid-day, normal, afternoon, whatever. I think we should talk about the Drones, like we always do, about how much they are interesting, details about them, AUs maybe, etc The amazing Booru: https://dronebooru.co The nice wheel with OCs: https://wheelofnames.com/8hc-stc The totally accurate OC wiki: https://dronebooru.co/wiki_pages/original_character The last Thread: >>135133
If you see this post, you have to say something about N’s internal organs or your favorite OC will be cursed to only have bad content for the rest of eternity.
I hate the way my brain works, I'm just peacefully minding my own business doing my shit. Then all the sudden "Hey y'know those guys that keep arguing about whether Jessa or Nessa is better? Do you think they ever thought about Tessa x J x N?" and now I'm stuck debating whether or not that could work. So anyways, what do you guys think?
>>136128 I have a love hate relationship with these threads. I’m autistic about drones, but I’m so sick and tired of (and repulsed, and sometimes genuinely angered by,) porn and porn culture. I also have only ever cared about a few thread OCs and I feel a bit like an outsider for not paying attention to most of them. I love making content and stuff of my favorite characters and OCs, yet all those other things make me feel like maybe I don’t really belong here.
What do you think about the idea that Alice&Doll could have met in canon? It's farfetched, but Doll seemingly knew about the Sentinels and CFL's rough layout before, also she didn't get caught by Alice inspite of being at least a minute ahead of the rest. Be it one that could have happened in canon or not, any ideas on how that could have went?
it was supposed to snow tonight, but all we got was sleet and a few flakes. I want to be in the snow with the drone I love– in a tent, in a park, on a walk to the convenience store– just somewhere calm and snowy. I wish the same for (You)
>>136156 Thanks, you too, we got snow finally, I must draw snowy drones comfiness this weekend. Alice for sure, Doll perhaps too. Just don't have concrete ideas yet but smth will come of it
>>136159 She seems to have been scared of her eldritch 3D modeling tools and would gouge out her eye to let the demons out, so she probably didn't use her cool telekinesis to bully nerds like Nori did.
>Be SD >Went on dangerous mission >Badly damaged >Still recovering >Harper hugs you and lets you sit in a beanbag chair with her while she cradles your face Life good
>>136159 Yeva was a witch too, but that alone seems to not antagonize her, after all it was what Nori did and likely her personality that makes Alice hate her. Yeva and Alice probably both had a bad time, and personalitywise they'd add much to each other, so I think they at least were no enemies. Doll no longer had Yeva's necklace because Uzi took it after V 'killed' Doll at the prom, so who knows how long it would take for that to come up. Overall Doll's calmer attitude (when captured only I guess, Doll otherwise is sometimes very violent) would help settle things tho.
You are a Russian anon and should drink your vodka, but according to Russian tradition, vodka should be drunk in the company of three people. Which of the main characters and OC's will you invite to drink vodka?
>>136143 >>136145 Human sexuality is extremely unsavory unless you are extremely specifically both sexually attracted to something and sexually aroused at the exact same time. Attempts to blatantly lie by portraying it in any other way are laughable.
>>136112 If Liam really wanted to keep J as a villain, I feel like a better way is to make her and her interactions with V more tragic like Jeane from No More Heroes. With instead of V responding with anger (even though she was also working with the Solver), she responds with understanding of why J is like this and is heartbroken about things having to be this way. Choosing to kill J by stabbing through her core, allowing her to finally rest in peace and be set free from decades of torment from the Solver. You can also add about how doing this shows V's confidence and trust in Uzi and N being able to defeat the Solver, meaning that J would no longer have to be cloned and can finally rest. No More Heroes: Jeane Boss Fight / Slowed Down Speech (Dolphin 4K 60fps) (@10:27) Just an idea I thought of that I think does it better than "lol she falls into a pit and becomes a hermit"
>have a kid with a DD >it isn't a pillbaby or normal baby or anything, the kid ends up being one of those miniature nuclear warheads for the Davy Crockett gun >yfw you toss him in the air and accidentally don't catch him
If, hypothetically, I had a best friend who was eaten by a DD, but now he was the DD, and the DD was female and very hot before he took it over, would it be gay to tap that?
>>136216 On one hand, that could be interesting if Pavo attempts to attack Danni and it turns out she was Anon's friend so he protects her and stuff On the other hand, it might neuter some of the horror/relationship aspect if there's some goofy love triangle now, also because the sentinel au isn't super gritty to start with, versus it being one guy and his DD buddy reconnecting on a desolate planet
>>136222 That could work too, a female Sentinel competing for Anon's attention with DDanni and being ordered to help conceal the existence of this anomaly until he can figure out what to do next ALSO because DDanni makes him feel some kind of way (Because everyone knows it takes a real man to be best girl)
>>136221 I'm just thinking about how Pavo will scare DDanni. I don't think Pavo will believe that DDanni is really that best friend and think it's just a trick, plus DDanni, or rather the past owner of the body, has obviously already met Pavo and felt his attitude towards disassembler drone on his iron skin, and those memories will definitely make DDanni nervous.
If Pavo treats people well, then he is literally a maniac when it comes to disassembler drones, and only Anon doesn't let him deal with this “problem”.
>>136224 if the DD still has the urge to kill (which seems to be the case based on previous greens) Pavo probably isn't going to listen to Anon's pleading

>>136265 that's actually a good point. Pavo despises DDs but he also has a strong desire to protect and comfort humans. I wonder, given the DD isn't an immediate threat, which would take priority?
>>136143 same. I frequently just visit to one day see an update from that anon that made the 1st person pov J greentest about the jcjenson space station and that matrioshka brain being controlled by Cyn and two advanced JcJeson AIs.

Alrighty, time to do some lore interpretation for Danni, Buddy and DD-D
Buddy >Veteran and Survivor of the Solver War, had spent his years living on an abandoned planet far from copper-9. As far back as to the war, Buddy had been living in intense paranoia. When the Solver war was starting to reach its climax with humanity’s downfall and the earth’s destruction. Both him and his best friend; Danni, had decided to cut their losses and escape the doomed planet. Finding a ship capable of space travel and with built in cryopods, The two of them thought that they were home free. However, Tragedy struck when a disassembly drone had found the best friends. Buddy watched as Danni was eaten alive by the DD behind the glass window of the ship as he was helplessly forced to leave. The last time he had seen that DD, she was looking at him smiling with his friend’s blood all over her mouth. Since then, Buddy feared the day where that very same Drone would find him and finish what she had started. Many years later into the future, that fear would come true… but not in a way that he had expected.
Danni >Buddy’s lifelong friend since they were kids with a bond so strong, they might as well have been brothers. When the solver war had broken out, the two best friends joined the war effort to combat against the Eldritch A.I and her army of vampiric robots and mutants. It was Danni’s idea for the both of them to go AWOL when the war was being turned in favor for the solver and was also the one that had found the spaceship to escape off planet. When that disassembly drone had found them, Danni provided a distraction to buy time for Buddy to get the ship working. However just when the ship had gotten online, Danni had been incapacitated by the drone mid-retreat. He spent his last moments conscious as the drone ate him alive. What was meant to be a permanent death, Danni found himself alive again. But this time, in the body of the female drone that killed him. Despite his strange situation, he was determined to find his best friend again.
DD-D >Before Danni had taken over her body, DD-D was a sadistic drone that took pleasure in instilling fear within her prey. During the solver war, she used fear tactics to demoralize the humans by picking them off one by one before eating one of their comrades in front of another. She had been responsible for the death of Danni and Buddy’ deeply seeded fear of her. She had also been one of the few Disassembly Drones that had gone to cabin fever labs on copper-9, only to be met by the sentinels. Her core was later found by Beau and Alice and was put in a functioning oven that had kept it from escaping. By the time it had escaped, The core had been heated for some long, part of its data that contained D’s personality had been corroded to the point where it can no longer function. Luckily the core had some intact data that was obtained when D had consumed the humans. The data that the core had used was Danni’s
>>136333 I like this backstory, it puts everything roughly in its place. Although I would have preferred Buddy to live not as a hermit but in human society after defeating the solver, like in the salonanon stories.
Now we have to deal with how the reunion went and how Buddy coped all these years after what happened to his friend, as well as how DDanni found Buddy.
>>136351 Caves into what? Eating them? Fucking them? Cheating them out of money or outfit pieces? Autistically lore dumping or telling the most boring story ever known, about turnips in Norway?
>>136357 >Beretta has studied intensively on how to make herself smaller, since she wants Anon to pleasure her thoroughly >She was not expecting him to have a footlong hog (which has been a whole six inches shorter since Cyn cursed him with Solver magicks) >Anon doesn't give Beretta any time to try and Solver herself bigger either >The resulting sounds go on for hours >N is mercifully ignorant since he's out having a "guy's night" with Khan, Mac, and some others (where Mac keeps getting offered antifreeze despite being under 21) >Uzi, however, is considering moving into the psych ward Negev vacated previously
>>136383 Reminder that the experiment with worms running a maze that Alan Moore based that tweest on was discredited since. The worms who were fed the other worms could still do the maze because they could smell the trail the worm they'd been fed took.
>>136382 Idk about the mattpat vid, it's just all feels like an endless spiral of niggers not understanding shit, mfs trying to preach to everyone about AS just being a program and it not being sentient but controlled by Cyn or some shit, and understandable criticism of i.e. V getting off clean while Doll 'dies', only for some other retarded niggas complaining about anyone complaining about MD. It's an incoherent BS spewing sea of idiots, no one made these 'theories' themselves, 99% and all 'content creators' just keep reurgitating halfbaked Bullshit. It's literally impossible to discuss or theorize with anyone outside of here because they know so little, are wrong, or just genuinely retarded or massively in their early teens or so, idk what else it can be. The 'average' anon here is invaluable compared to these
>>136383 I'd prefer it was Danni, just so we don't have to deal with any more existential shit than the initial premise already introduces (and also so Bud also does the homie)
>>136377 I think there might actually be a second season of Murder Drones after all, all things taken into consideration. Is there anything anyone would particularly like to see in it, so that I might take it into consideration? Also, can people please show me the Disassembly Drones at the entrance to the Cabin Fever Labs again? All shots and angles would be appreciated, with things brightened up if need be. Ditto for the cores in Alice's oven, please.
>Uzi figures out how to rez the souls her mind palace acquired like the Solver could and rezzes Tessa in a drone body >but Tessa is traumatized by her death and subsequent decades in the hellish torment of the Solver's vore demon internal Pain Dimension >the DDs' joy at having Tessa back for real quickly gives way to soulcrushing guilt and they unzip themselves like Frank does in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Frank unzipped FULL SCENE >... and the spiteful husk of the Tessa they once knew has nothing but disgust for the vampires that used to be her dumpster friends >now Uzi's mind palace is filled with the souls of utterly despairing DDs (including N and V) who have lost the will to go on in any form after the girl who meant everything to them told them to go out into the sunlight and burn alive if they're so remorseful >new mess on Uzi's plate: seeking help for both the DDs and Tessa, some of the most traumatized people in history, while she herself is also one of the most traumatized people in history >Uzi's parents get involved, especially Khan since he knows what a PTSDed out teenage girl looks like (and thanks to Nori's example, what a PTSDed out grown-ass woman with the emotional maturity of a teenage girl looks like, but that's not relevant to this particular mental health crisis)

>>136473 Same reason the humans in the Battlestar Galactica remake were, with the additional insult of now needing to play nice with the vampires the enemy created.
>>136482 Danni for the most part from what i’m seeing is kinda chill but it mostly because that (s)he already went through the existential crisis before being reunited with Buddy. Buddy on the other hand seems like he’s still coping with shit.
>>136493 >Danni and Buddy go to grab BBQ >Both enjoy the meal until Danni suddenly says "Dang, it tastes almost like I did" >Buddy just stares at the rest of his food, trying not to hurl >"Hey, you gonna finish that?" >Buddy silently shakes his head and Danni digs into his meal as well >Welp, this can't get much worse >"Hey, Buddy, just wondering, but... does this count as a date?" >It got worse somehow
>“I know that i said that i wanted to be inside a girl with Triple-Ds, this isn’t what I had in mind.” ~ Danni, moments before taking a buckshot to the face by Buddy (don’t worry, she gets better).
>>136497 >Danni can still tap into the legendary power that only men can use: "thugging it out" and "it is what it is" >Buddy's attack is nothing in the face of those two
>>136557 Ah, yes, the thing that isn't related to Abby in any way, shape, or form! I'm glad Abby is safe and sound on the planet Exto-B in the suburbs with her huge family and loving husband, who has a well paying job as an accountant!
I just realized: since "killing" a DD just sends their soul back to their admin, people in the know about that who'd still hate them post-Good Ending (e.g. the Sentinel Drones) wouldn't be killing them to remove dangerous monsters from society. It'd just be about making their lives miserable.
>>136565 Like on one side, i like to imagine that she was that black hair DD that gotten murked by the sentinels in cabin fever labs but at the same time, the idea of having a hairstyle like ami from the puffy amiyumi show can’t leave my brain for some reason (mostly because Janice Kawaye had been my headcanon voice for her.)
>>136566 >instead of swiftly dispatching DDs, Sentinels and other Disassembler-hating drones opt to make their numerous deaths as humiliating as possible >mostly out of spite, but also in the hopes they'll give up and fuck off
>>136566 But what if you just need to destroy the singularity to kill DD without administration intervention? Then sentinel drones who want to continue the “fight for humanity” after a good ending will DD's cores... eat?
>Buddy gets takeout at a Chinese restaurant and heads back to the apartment he and DDanni are roommates in >It's an attempt to return to society, and normalcy, in the face of the staggering changes to the both of them since the war >He grabs the fortune cookie on top of the package and eats it, idly withdrawing the fortune to check it >He always enjoyed the fortunes - they were doofy, rarely useful, and always good for a chuckle >He reads it as he opens the apartment door >Picrel >"Hey, Buddy, good to see you man! C'mere, sot on the couch - let's watch a movie! How do you feel about Brokeback Mountain? I've heard it's good, no idea what it's about though." >Buddy deposits the Chinese food inside the door >"I'm actually going for a quick jog, see you later" and runs off
>>136186 Imagine if Y were dangling a tiny (you) above her mouth instead of that mistletoe. Her warm, humid breath snaking up your pants and tickling your legs as she flashes her bright, white teeth at you. Licking her lips before lowering your towards her lips and giving you a giant drone-sized 'mwah'.
>>136576 You sleep in the same house with him, son, and God only knows what that thing does while you sleep, so there's no point in running away, you'll only get tired.
>>136583 He's only going for a jog, he'll be back... after the movie is over and Danni's gone into sleep mode A man can only put up with so much bro-turned-sexy-woman-robot acting like nothing has changed, especially the fact she still only wears boxers around the house like in their military days in the barracks It's hard seeing that much exposed chassis on a chick, y'know?
>>136586 Back in the army, Danni would joke around the barracks and wear a skirt for shit and giggles. Now as a drone, the act had suddenly a lot more sexual for Buddy and Danni is unware of it.
>>136443 >Tessa grew extremely close to Cyn during their fortysomething to fifty years in the mind palace of Vore Demon GLaDOS, for obvious reasons; they were the only ones around to keep each other functional >after the disgusting bloodsuckers she can't believe she ever thought were her friends (plus N, whose joining them she didn't care about either way but wasn't surprised by; he's a dog, he does as he's told) put themselves out of her misery, Tessa asks Uzi to rezz Cyn, her only real friend >Uzi begrudgingly looks into her mind palace again... then Cyn tells her she doesn't want to come out: the others need her, especially her big brother >when Uzi brings this information back to Tessa, she WANTS to hate Cyn too now, WANTS to be outraged by this vile betrayal of her trust that doesn't even have becoming a leech greasing the wheels for the betrayal like with the others... but she can't, and she's simultaneously devastated and relieved that she doesn't have it in her to hate Cyn too for still loving the others and wanting to help them
>>136595 J probably assumed all this time that Tessa would hate her if she was still alive, but Tessa actually coming back to life and confirming that fear would probably leave her catatonic
>>136607 In armor, that or a cloaker from Payday 2 Without a mask, eh, toss up, basically an everyman - not ugly but not handsome either, sort of like Asterix or Tintin or something

Does anyone remember Belisarius Cawl? He was a pretty important character in the show yet no one seems to talk about him. He was really cool in fights and was had a some of the best moments in the show.
Just realized that since Danni is in control of the DD’s body, including the core. That means Buddy can be able to sneak is friend into movie theater’s by just hiding the core in a jacket.
>>136633 >"Bro, tickets aren't that expensive. They're like seven bucks." >"No, no! You need to sneak me in. Here, look, I'm a core! Check it out, I can fit in your jacket's chest pocket!" >"First off, Danni, I'm not putting you right next to where my fucking heart is while you're still... unstable. Second, I'll pay for your damn ticket, just get back in your body." >"But I wanna do it the fun way!" >"Dammit man, just get in the robot! Get in the robot, Danni!!"
>>136572 >>136574 This is honestly a really interesting concept >Specialized Sentinel (Warden?) Drone that 'eats' Solverfied cores in order to entrap their digital essence/"soul"/whatever >Depending just how the whole 'backup' system works, this process either prevents an entire Serial Designation from being remade OR simply prevents Serial Designations from being updated with additional information & intelligence (aka "PRIOR HAZARD") >The captured Solverfied AIs are considered highly valuable assets to (what's left of) the scientific community, acting as important staples towards all manner of Anti-Solver research >These specialized Sentinels/Wardens are arguably the best and (relatively) safest option available for the short term containment and/or transportation of captured Solverfied AI >Unfortunately the long term containment of Solverfied AIs (particularly of Hosts capable of casting their Solver) requires both specialized Solver-resistant storage devices AND a level of dedicated effort & upkeep that renders large-scale implementation impractical and thus is reserved only for particularly important/dangerous cases Under NO circumstances should multiple Solverfied AIs be left to share the same containment vessel for extended periods of time as this risks the creation of a highly dangerous Amalgamated Intelligence
Fun fact about Buddy: When I first thought of his name, it was mostly because i wanted to make him standout more instead of giving as dumb as anon for a name. As for in-universe, Buddy was named after the dog character of his favorite movie; Air-bud. Danni is the only person that knows this and actually managed to gotten buddy to stop when they had met again after the solver war.
>>136652 post good ending, I don't know. Pavo despises DDs but he's also a soldier– or at least part of the military in some capacity. they're not exactly going to let him go around repeatedly killing drones that are now recognized as civilians
>>136658 I wonder if the other two would get into trouble for killing "civilians", at least Switch seems to be very motivated to do so considering her backstory.
it's pretty weird that I'm under direct orders to let this grunt drone share my sleeping bag but apparently she's here to help me avoid hypothermia so I guess I won't question it
>>136652 Pavo's fucked up roulette wheel of a moral compass draws the line at sapience. If they can prove they're thinking, speaking beings, he loses his psychopathic edge. Thankfully, since his weaponry is based around anti-DD operations, he almost never deals with things that can think like Solver cultists. He'll probably always be some amount of racist against "reintegrated" DDs, but he wouldn't kill them unless given a good reason.
>>136498 >>136507 >straight Juzi isn't canon >we never got two angry moody little shits falling in love with another angry moody little shit Liam robbed us.
>>136650 despite the vore implications (not anything worse then what the show has shown cyn to do so shrug) i actually like this idea of a Warden-Class Sentinel.
I guess depending on continuity it ether serves to deal with specially resistant DD's who cant be captured intact, or just: >"Nah fuck this man im sending the dementors after you."
>>136684 Switch yes, she requires explicit orders from one of the few authorities she recognizes to not kill DDs. Something about he who fights monsters. TAMMFK is a weird dude, he may or may not. He's also well before my time.
Been thinking about the inevitability of Buddy and Danni succumbing to the sexual tension and not going to lie. It gotten steamy when i was think about.
>The dam breaks and the two best friends find themselves ready to do the deed (don’t know whether Danni or Buddy would be the one who starts it or not.) >Both agreed no homo as Buddy slips his buddy inside of Danni. >“ha! Beretta started, "That was Bradly." >The name was somewhat familiar to the maid, a friend of Beretta's, though she couldn't remember much past that. >"He's been watching us for the past, ohhh...thirty minutes?" She pointed in the vague direction of an abandoned building in front of the pair. >Not waiting for Hope to speak, Beretta continued, "Or really, he's been watching me speak to myself for the past thirty minutes." >Dread welled up in the maid. She knew this little thing wouldn't last forever, but she'd hoped it could go on for longer than a few months. >"Care to explain, Ms. Hope?" The blond turned to the increasingly pensive maid, eyes at that trademark worker drone half-lid, voice laced with . >Delicate situation ahead, Hope. Attempt to handle it with care. >"You uh, you sure he isn't kidding," Hope started, "I mean he could just be pulling a prank or-" >"Bradly wouldn't do that," Beretta cut her off, her tone a combination of measured and annoyed. >She continued, "We've been friends since childhood and...he wouldn't mess around with this sort of thing." >Beretta let the words hang in the air, waiting for Hope to answer. They were just best friends, as close as they could ever be: when the first thing you do when you wake up in the body of a genocidal machine that ate you alive is look for your friend, that says a lot about friendship. Here is an old green (from like thread 50) that I decided to actually finish, for some context there was and idea about J gaslighting Anon that he is Tessa after the cannon ending
>Be Anon >You escaped on a cryo-escape pod from one of the human exoplanets when everything went to shit >You awakened from nipple hardening cryogenic sleep on a frozen ice ball of a planet >Good thing the pod had an rebreather otherwise you wouldn't last that long breathing in an atmosphere of 90% deadly gas and 10% polluted oxygen >You try scavenging around the ruined city you conveniently landed in >Some better clothing could really come in handy >A pair of pants (stained with grease and god knows what else) and a T-shirt are not helping you with the freezing temperatures >You find frozen skeletons and not much more >It seems that everything has already been picked clean >There isn't as much as a ruined sofa or moldy gaming chair inside any of the buildings you entered, let alone a coat or at least a hoodie to keep you warn >Shivering and with purple fingers you push onward >You don't know for how long you can keep this up >You are REALLY tired, maybe laying down for a while wouldn't be such a bad idea... >.... NO, you have to keep going, there has to be something on this planet that could let you survive >No way its just a bunch empty concrete buildings, right? >Right? >You can see something in the distance >A mountain? No its in the middle of the city why would there be a mountain >You get closer to whatever that is >Its a spire made from broken drones >Well that's foreboding, but it has an entrance and its probably at least a little warmer inside >With the last of your strength you enter the ominous structure >Inside you find one of those weird drones that murdered people on your planet >It's sitting next to a table, holding a visored helmet, crying? >The sounds it makes are sobs or at least close enough >Suddenly the drone shifts its gaze from the helmet to you >Oh well, you had a good enough run >The drone is already rushing towards you and you don't have the energy to escape >Even if you could run you wouldn't be able to outrun it >The drone outstretches its arms probably to eviscerate you >You close your eyes, ready for what comes next >Suddenly you feel an embrace and a wave of heat hitting your body >You open your eyes, the drone.. uh a she.. pony tails, skirt and all, is hugging you >You are confused but don't mind it that much, she is very warm and you need it >You stand in place for a while letting the drone hug you >Eventually you begin to return it, mostly from the need to warm your hands on the drone's chassis but you also feel a bit of compulsion telling you to do it >As you wrap your arms around her, the drone's screen lights up with a yellow blush >Instinctively you try to raise the drone up to your head to take the chill of your face >You actually achieve your goal, she's lighter than you'd thought a flying, bulletproof, vampiric murder machine would be >You press your face against her head, well you attempt to, the rebreather keeping you breathing is also competently forcing distance between you two >After a while the drone stops her embrace and goes limp >A loading icon replaced her eyes and blush >You don't know what's happening but decide that gently placing the drone on the ground is the best course of action >Once the drone lays beneath your feet you take a moment to more closely examine your surroundings >The inside of the structure is rather neat, you expected corpses littering the ground but to your surprise there is only the occasional drone component and patch of snow >There is something standing in the middle of the room... corpse cave? a metal cube with legs, you can't see it that well its rather dark inside and exhaustion is making your vision a bit blurry >You move towards the object, taking care as to not step on the drone while doing so >Once you get closer and your eyes get used to the dimness, you see the object in full >A drop-pod, its in rather poor condition, the chassis is beat up and the thruster lays underneath it in pieces
>>136796 >There is a lot of parts scattered around it, maybe the drone or someone else is trying to fix it? >Your pondering and observation is cut short by a female voice from behind you >"The pod's broken boss, I've been working on it, but fixing stuff isn't exactly my specialty, plus doing this sort of thing alone isn't easy" >The voice startled you making you let out an extremely manly and dignified shriek >You turn around quickly and look at the drone who continues to speak >"Yeah it got pretty beat up during the..." >She falls silent a concerned expression on her screen >After a while she resumes >"... you know, never mind why its broken, I'm sure we'll be able to fix it" >Now that you aren't freezing to death being so close to a death machine awakens your flight or fight instincts >You can't really run, she has you backed into a corner >You sure as hell can't fight back, especially unarmed >You take a step back and hit the wall of the drop pod, and begin assessing the situation >The drone seems to not want to kill you, and it seems to refer to you as "boss" >You're not sure if this is just a predator playing with its food or if the drone is defective >You try as hard as you can to think up a way of out of this mess, you really don't want to take your chances with the drone but going outside is as bad or maybe even worse >The drone looks at you with a rather inquisitive expression >"Hey Tessa its me J, your right hand drone remember?" >You stop cowering and collect yourself enough to respond to "J" >All your attempts to explain that you are not Tessa and that you don't know her are fruitless >"What do you mean you are not Tessa? Just look at you... well maybe you put on some weight but you also grew a lot! Come on Tessa stop pulling my leg" >Ah, the drone is just defective, well at least she won't kill you, she seems to really care for this Tessa and from what you gather it's long time since she last seen her >Maybe you should play along for now? >No it's a bad idea, she probably wouldn't appropriate it when she figures out you aren't her friend >You once again explain that you Anon have just met her >Your endeavour is meet with even harsher resistance >"Tessa, you have to remember me, we did so many things together: like that time you dug me up from the scrapheap or that time we locked Cyn in the basement or that time at the gala when we..." >J's eyes quickly turned in hollowed out ovals as she cut herself off mid sentence >"... and who is this Anon you keep talking about anyway?" >She is rather deep in her delusion, you really have no choice but to play along >Fine the drone of unsound processor shall have its way, you admit to actually being Tessa and ask her a few questions relevant to your circumstances (location, general situation, etc) >"Hah boss I knew you were kidding, but I must admit for a second I was worried you hit your head on something and forgot, as for a general status report: We are on Copper-9 sector C6, after our last... engagement N and V..." >A brief moment of silence follows before she finishes >"... well they are CEO damned traitors, that's all you need to know, they sit cooped up in a bunker with the rebelling workers" >There is a lot of anger and bitterness in her voice, you wonder about the nature of this supposed betrayal >"... oh and well, as you can see we are stranded planet side, the drop pod is in better shape than it looks but its still some time before it flies again" >The thought of leaving this frozen hell hole is very enticing though from what you know these kinds of vessels don't have much long term life support but if there is a passing ship that could pick it up while its drifting in space that's not an issue >Such a passing ship would need to be signalled first however, with hope in your eyes you ask J about any communication devices she might posses
>>136797 >"Sorry boss, we're completely cut off, the pod's communicator relay is busted, all planetary means of communication are long gone and as for my low range squad communicator: the other squads went dark after... they haven't responded in a while and V and N are out of the equation, obviously" >And so the hope in your eyes dies, but you suppose it could have been worse, and the drop-pod is probably your only ticket out of here, you ask J how long until its working again >"Well boss, we need a new fuel pump for the thruster, an orbital gyroscope and a processor for the guidance system" >That's only three things, shouldn't be that bad Copper-9 was always a backwater but it was a mining/factory planet so stuff like this should be easy to come by >"Oh and here's where problems start boss, I've been searching for those for about a month now" >WHAT >"Yeah, flew across the planet at least twice by now and there’s no sign of any of those" >Excellent you are stranded with no way of escape and a delusional defective murder bot to keep you company >Not that you would say the last part to her face >"There may actually be a way boss, maybe one of the worker hideouts has what we need" >You attempt to respond to this suggestion but your rebreather interrupts the conversation with a warning >5 MINUTES OF OXYGEN REMAINING >Your feel as if your heart stopped beating, fear grips your body and sweat runs down you face despite the low temperature >"Oh hey Tess you really ought to replace that things filter, breathing in the toxic gasses is not covered in your health insurance, I checked" >You snap out of your anxiety fueled malaise and frantically explain that you do not have another filter >"OH Oh oh... That’s bad, that’s very bad... um give me a sec" >J quickly runs to the table she was sitting at and grabs the helmet from it >"Here you go Tessa, your old helmet the filter on this one should be plenty good" >She shoves the helmet into your hands, you don't think it will fit, its at least two sizes two small >"Well what are you waiting for? You want to show me how long you can hold your breath?" >Here goes nothing, you take a deep breath remove your rebreather and attempt to put on the helmet >It does not fit, you slam it against your head repeatedly but it wont work >With the air in your lungs dwindling you begin to panic >Seeing you struggle with the helmet and begin to turn purple J begins to panic as well >"Oh crap, uh... we need to pivot, the drop-pod’s airscurbber should be working lets get you inside" >J grabs your hand and begins dragging you into the drop-pod >The painful emptiness in you lungs is becoming unbearable and your vision begins to narrow >Once the entrance hatch of the drop pod closes behind you, you start taking deep greedy breaths >The air inside is heavy and filled with the smell of rust and oil, but you're still alive so its at least not dangerous >"Oof, close one boss, aye?" >J gives you a wide smile >You take a few more deep breaths and nod your head >After you've composed yourself you ask if she still thinks you're Tessa even when she sees your face >"Yeah of course Tessa, your face is... um... different, but not to the point I wouldn't recognize you and hey a lot of time has passed, you really shouldn’t worry that much about your looks" >"Also I like the thing you've done with your hair, but I still like your old haircut more" >Well she won't budge, but at least you're sure she's still willing to help you >You sit against one of the pod's walls and begin to rest, J sits next to you and leans on your shoulder >You begin to form a word of protest but the inside of the pod is only slightly warmer than the corpse cave it resides in and J makes a good heater >Some time passes, and your overwhelming desire to not freeze to death made you to end up in an awkward cuddle with J
>>136799 >Awkward for you that is, she appears to be greatly enjoying being this close to you >Eventually the temperature inside the drop-pod rises above unbearable into slightly uncomfortable >You no longer need to huddle with J to keep your extremities >You turn to J and ask if she knows where to get more filters for your re breather and maybe some warmer clothing >"Oh yeah sure, there should be some in a neighboring city sector, this one got picked clean by the workers" >That explains the empty buildings, but that city is probably kilometers away and you are not making it there without suffocating/freezing >"Yes its rather far away, but I'll go there once night falls and bring back whatever I can" >She really is concerned with your continued existence, that's nice but why must she leave at night? >And she keeps talking about rouge workers >The ovals that represent her eyes hollow and her mouth twists in scowl >"It’s just... safer to travel at night and the workers?" >J laughs to her self for a moment >Its rather hysterical and you can almost feel a tinge of pain in it >"Tessa, maybe you really hit yourself on the head if you don't remember, but as your loyal companion I shall refresh your memory" >"After the core collapse of Copper-9 its resident worker drone population was left unsupervised, and to keep said rouge AI's from corrupting their code and rebelling against humanity, JCJenson sent several squads of disassembly drones to clean up the mess" >"And you were sent with us as our licensed technician, look here I even got your name tag" >J produces a small metal plate from her pocket and pins it to your shirt >"You've lost it when we got separated in the..." >J laughs maniacally for a moment, then stops and looks at you >"... you know where, but we're finally together again and that's what matters, also very impressive that you managed to survive for 5 months alone"
>>136800 >You take a moment to process this information, JCJ went bust rather early on in the dronepocalypse so it sure as hell couldn't send a team to deal with rouge AI >Besides "Dissemblers" weren't a JCJ product last time you checked >"What dronepocalypse ? You mean that business on earth and other exoplanets ? Just a small R&D blunder that’s all, JCJ is still operating and Disassembly Drones are a top of the line AI culling solution" >How much time has passed since you entered cryosleep ? Maybe things changed a lot more than you think, but you're still not buying this >"Anyways boss, its starting to get dark outside, I'll go get you those filters and some better clothes" >J quickly leaves the drop-pod leaving you alone inside >You sit alone in the metal box, time flows rather slowly so you decide to survey your surroundings to help pass it >A broken mirror on one wall, a whiteboard with a lot of scrawling and what seems to be a stock chart, a calendar on another wall >3071 >Well fuck it has been some time, maybe the world didn't end and you just overreacted and jumped into a cryopod for nothing? >But why would this planet still be such a hell hole if that was the case? >There is a date marked on the calendar, from what you gather its today the last 7 days before it were checked off and its adorned with T.B-DAY written in permanent marker >You inspection of the calendar is interrupted by the sound of the pod's hatch opening >J's back and she's got some sort of sack in her hands >She drops it on the floor before you >"Here you go boss, all filters I could find and some more appropriate clothing, not sure what size you wear nowadays so sorry if they’re to big/small" >You open the sack inside you find a rather warm looking military-ish coat with a hood, a pair of gloves, snow boots and enough filters to last you a while >Well this is better than you hoped for, you half expected her to come back with a unicorn onesie or something >But this should aid your survival, you put on the clothes and they fit rather well >Thanks J, excellent work >Once these words leave your mouth J lunges at you with a hug >"You're, welcome Tessa"
And that's all for now, hopefully the grammar is better this time and I make a solemn vow to actually continue it this time (next weekend) as for now I go back to cramming Taylors Theorem and Lagrange's reminder into my head
>"Anon, why do you have so many plushies?" >The suited man nervously rubs his nape >"They were uh...gifts. From relatives." >For a split second, the plushies' eyes glare at him before going back to normal. >Everyone's still pissed that he hasn't found a way to turn them back.
>>136753 I know the first one was posted on /co/ too, but I don't remember which thread here had the second one where the reversal of making her and the other three humans extends to the Absolute Solver using her skin as its vessel like Jenny's human disguise that a mind of its own in that one MLaaTR episode and shedding the rest of her body.

>>136842 >destroy the singularity With what, happy thoughts? There are no [spoiler]conventional[spoiler] weapons within the Federation's arsenal capable of destroying a singularity
>>136851 First off they are not your enemy anymore, the war is over, second you can either have a kid with a drone or not at all since this is the only way to bypass the contraceptive weapons accidently deployed (by the federation) during the war
>>136852 I did not fight in this war, see men and women I fought with and was great friends with, just to get all cuddly with the fucking enemy. And what the fuck are you talking about? What contraceptive weapons? We can still reproduce with each other. If you mean the Augmentation program then I can assure you I don't feel anything wrong and my doctor says I'm perfectly healthy.
>>136852 Another one, if marriages between humans don't make sense, why are they banned? Why ban something that people won't do anyway because it's useless? You're probably just another drone bitch who defends this criminal, anti-human regime.
We should have continued the war to a victorious end.
>>136856 I agree, we should have just killed every single disassembler, every single witch and their admin. >>136857 Go die, tin can. I always filter my water.
Veterans don't know that by marrying a drone they will get more benefits, more disbursements, a lump sum of 10,000 credits and a loving second half, or are they just dumb?
>>136863 >a loving second half >its a fucking drone Still won't get friendly with the enemy. I prefer a real woman, not just some plastic imitation that tried to kill me during the war.
>>136864 >"No, Danni." >"Sixty thousand..." >"Danni, hell no!" >"And ten thousand..." >"Are you even listening to me?! YOU'RE A MAN INSIDE, DANNI!" >"FOR EACH!"
>>136865 >>136856 >>136855 Also you guys keep going on about wanting a human woman, the ban on human/human marriage is there exactly to protect YOU, why? Go outside what do you see? A bunch of men and women with drones, if you look closer you see that 80% of women have the exact same fucking drone with them, why is that ? Humanity lost 95% of its population, there is exactly 0.8 N's for every 1 human woman, if you think you have chances against the orgasmachine be my guest but it wont end pretty
So what do you think happened to Yeva? Why is her core dead or gone? All we say is a blacked out chest, no 3d damage but at least oil over her chestlight, likely this was to save work (or they didn't consider it). Is it killed by nanite acid? The bullets that shot Yeva and her man killed it? How did Yeva even get shot by V, if Doll can easily reflect her fire too at the prom? Was the core eaten, can DDs even eat and destroy cores? Or is it just badly thought through?
>>136878 >Say See Anyways, it makes no sense, in the flashback we only heard shots and considering what Khan said of Nori's nanite induced 'death' such a hit totally wrecks the body, Yeva wouldn't be sitting there in one piece then. They didn't plan enough for cores/Solverhosts yet, forgot Yeva was one, or what happened?
How would exactly Solver War veterals be actually treated and how would they be convinced to copulate with a drone and not a human? Would they be treated as heroes or old relics unable to move on? How would they convince human male and female soldiers to get along with male and female drones?
>>136878 >>136880 the answer to this sort of question will always be: A. Liam forgot B. Liam didn't care (because xyz)
in-universe, maybe V injected her straight through the chest, released nanites into her core, and the acid was "spent" eating through it. or her core is just wandering around somewhere
With how Pavo, Switch and TAMMFK were mentioned to be the serial killers of the post-good ending, how would they be dealt with? Would they be given counselling and therapy with how their most violent inpulses come from PTSD from the looks of it or would they just be locked up for life in prisons?
>>136891 Pavo was demoted from serial killer to racist. if he sees they're sapient entities not harming humans he's not going to go around killing them, even if he wasn't military property. he is going to look at them as monsters and never let his guard down around them, though.
>>136896 I mean realistically, a post good ending human society with worker drones and DD drones society would be kinda unstable. Especially if its in the really early years because a lot of discrimination would be thrown around and paranoia.
>>136900 Didn't Switch cannibalize disassemblers on the count she needs to eat them in order to stay alive? I imagine she eats every part of a DD, including the core. I don't think there's a respawn for a DD then and that would be considered murder.
>>136898 >DDanni is that Tomboy with a girly streak. >Whenever he gets caught doing something girly infront of Buddy he gets embarrassed. >the girly stuff starts becoming more common and DDanni is doing them unconsciously.
>>136650(me) Decided to compare and contrast the ideas of containing singularities within a Warden VS the more 'traditional' containment of Solverfied Cores
>Warden Assimilation +Possesses Sentinel adjacent weaponry, used for both offensive and defensive measures +Minimal damage in the event of a total containment breach (Singularity simply floats back to their administrator) +Comparatively easier & safer to conduct Anti-Solver R&D -Costly & time consuming to produce in meaningful numbers, rendering mass production practically impossible -Warden AI must be actively maintained in order to ensure containment; AI degradation and/or failure can cause issues ranging from 'possession' to total containment breach -Warden must undergo routine physical maintenance due to the passive 'Solverfication' that affects any/all machines directly housing Solverfied AI
>Core Containment +Relatively simple to keep contained (just use jars & heat!) +Cheap enough for mass-containment to be a viable option +No specialized equipment necessary -Catastrophic potential for damage in the event of a total containment breach (Solverpede galore) -Comparatively limited application for "safe" Anti-Solver R&D -Serious risk of sensitive information leaking out via escaping singularity should the core be physically terminated
>>136904 That's cute, I can imagine Buddy getting dragged to the mall at some point thinking they're gonna look at nerd stuff only for DDanni to start trying on new clothes and ask how they look
>>136887 It seems that they are not treated well by the new government: low benefits and small payments, while most of them are understandably disabled, which makes them unable to find a normal job. This is most likely due to the extremely widespread nostalgia for the Federation times among veterans, as well as the also very widespread human-centeredness. The new government is afraid that veterans might become a force, both political and military, that might overthrow them, so the government is putting up conditions that veterans find unbearable, like mandatory marriage to a drone and a child by that drone to get good benefits and payments. But as I see it, sentinel drones are starting to protest this treatment of their former combat comrades and are organizing to change this situation.
Society is being radicalized and god only knows where this could lead.
>>136909 Unfortunately for other veterans, they don’t see it like that. All they see is Triple-D threat. The drone responsible for a lot of their friends brutal death
>>136916 It'd definitely be an interesting idea to explore - your comrade at arms and one of the monster's victims is now indelible linked to that thing
>>136914 You know, the way I see it is that there will definitely be Freikorps-like formations or mercenary groups comprising of Solver War veterans. Think about it, you have millions of soldiers without purpose. After the war, maybe some will find purpose in money while some may find purpose with gangs.
>>136870 Depends on how society treats human-drone pairs, so for example in the HODR universe they'd be best off because the government would stay out of their way except to asks "where are the kids?"
But I can see that Buddy, not DDanni, would have the hardest time integrating into society: he has PTSD, and very, very hard, and plus there's a trigger for that PTSD going around, and he can't get rid of it because it's his "friend." And the guys from the veterans' union are unlikely to understand his “friendship” with the disassembler drone.
>Holy shit, dude, you're awake! Sorry about wanging your head so hard with that pass. Buratino's right about me not knowing my own strength I guess. >Humans and drones breeding? Speciesism? Mass trauma? No idea what you're talking about, but it sounds really hot. C'mon, there's some doujins with a lot of that stuff I wanna show you and Uzi.
>>136930 He bottoms for monsters who could instantly kill him before he can react. Knowing his life is in their hands makes him so horny you have no idea.
>>136924 Danni was originally a male human friend of Anon (Buddy) who got eaten by a female DD in the Solver War. Years later Anon (Buddy) discovers that Danni's consciousness has taken over the DD. Hilarity ensues
>>136929 I don't think the government will allow an army of professional soldiers to be organized who only dream of overthrowing them and genocide the drones.
>>136923 >spoiler It depends if the feminine programs latent in Danni's systems manage to get far enough along to force her to pin Buddy down and demand them
Okay, we know how the new government would deal with human veterals but how would they deal with the DD hating workers and sentinels? >Worker Drones The ones that have sapience and formed societies were preyed on by the DDs and they see them as demons which further fuels their stigma towards them. >Sentinel Dronea They served and experienced the same horrors as human veterans. Need I say more about their opinion about DDs?
>>136936 But how will it be enforced? They hate disassemblers and the new government, there's nothing stopping them from forming "unofficial" PMC groups.
Yesterday and today artfags posted quite a few arts.

Would DDanni ever got body mods to try and appeal to Buddy more or be too disturbed by the idea of further body alteration hijinks given her current status

>>136965 I liked Space King but this feels insanely desperate. Making up a story about a Network who totally wanted to buy up Space King and that youre totally going to send them a gif of them getting an Enema every time someone buys something from them, is kinda just sad. >>137027 It would be extremely funny if the average streaming service viewer was subjected to something with all the grit of oldschool 40K. I know Space King taps more into the tongue in cheek Bakshi esque tone of the first 2 editions, but even that would likely be way too much for modern audiences to handle, given they had to infantilize Epic Pooh of all things. Could you even begin to imagine if something with the unique and distinct vibes of 3rd-4th edition somehow found its way on Netflix? Especially if Bluesky users somehow mistook it as something made for them, like a trojan horse. Anyways I think UziN is really cute and I'm so happy Uzi got the boy :3
