It's not like the humans as a whole are even shown as particularly monstrous, it was fucked up leaders with frightened peasants, and now everyone's just brainwashed.
The only problem this manga has is that Kenros doesn't show up enough. Otherwise, it's really fun. The situations read out like an old Phantasy Star game.
