>>44185 >Marco Cute choice! Nah, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's adorable work nonetheless! It's been so long, I forgot how cute SVFOR's characters were.
>>44188 Thank you so much, the compliment means the world to me, but I still have to work harder, your stuff blows me away. Sick poses by the way, I think this is technically the first piece of fanart I've ever gotten so, thanks again.
>>44189 Thank you, Anon. Nice colors, they complement each other well! >>44190 No problem, Anon. I'm glad to be the first -technical- fanart lol. Thank you as well for the compliment! I'm in the same boat as you, though. I still need to work on getting better. I have to say it again, your lines and hatching are beautiful, man. Keep it up.
>>44196 I agree on the large eyes; they are very off-putting and make her face a bit squished. I think I'm going to stick with the 'cat eye' shape, though. I'm a sucker for the boob shape; I HAD to include it lol. I just want her to look svelte without going too far into that hourglass/coke bottle territory. >Add a cute bush too and we've got a winner Based choice and added. I'll properly draw her out when I can finalize her design.
>>44191 > your lines and hatching are beautiful, man. You're too kind, I see them as more of a byproduct of my dislike of coloring. Well, i dislike it, but I also want to learn it.
>>44199 I feel that pain. I used to just do B&W because my coloring/rendering Suh-Ucked. It still needs work, but I think it's getting to a place where I like it...I think? >Well, I dislike it, but I also want to learn it. There's this artist I really look up to, and his stuff looks so cool, and the same goes for his techniques. He uploaded a pretty easy tutorial that I follow for most of my stuff. If I can find it again, I'll make sure to upload it. >>44200 Noted! I didn't work on her at all today, though. Busy, busy. >>44201 Cute Kim, Anon
>>44203 I appreciate you searching for it, truly. But everytime I try to wrap my head around light and shadows, and color combinations, I just get a headache. It sucks.
I haven't uploaded in a while. Every time I start I end up stopping halfway through. Very frustrating. I'm loving all the art here and I hope you all are doing great! This is not really NSFW, but my process involves drawing out the body so I can properly see how I want the clothes to land.
Been playing Pokemon Art Academy for a few weeks. I feel like I can actually keep up with these "lessons", but bridging the gap and starting to do things entirely from scratch, things I actually want to do, that still feels really hard. But my hand is getting more stable, especially considering I have an original 3DS and the touch screen isn't that nice to use.
Haven't been 'round these parts in a while and in that time my drawings changed quite a bit, but hardly improved, I still can't color for shit. Still, I keep chasing that dream and reimagined this girl I made back in April >>44190
>>44295 I see, I see! The suitcase was supposed to look overstuffed and near bursting. I might redraw her to look less prehistoric now, would you happen to have any advice on how to achieve that?
>>44296 Suitcases have hard shells so they would not have the outline of the inner objects. Instead the shell itself would bend as it is held together at the seams. This would make it have a slightly oval shape, with the side of the seams being bent inwards a little, perhaps even forming a small hole (depending on whether it uses all-around zippers, or just two locks on the side). It would look like it is bulging in the middle due to how the frame bends, even if it is stuffed on the outer parts. What is in that case anyway? A scorpion tail?
No idea how you'd make her look less prehistoric since I don't know what type of look you are going for. The sun shape on the bra reminds me of prehistoric artwork as well but that might just be me. The original version you drew looked more modern since the pants and the jacket had modern looking seams.
>>44297 Thank you, I'll take everything into account. I'm not sure myself what kind of look i'm going for honestly, maybe i'll add some fringes to the clothes to make it more western.
