>>418577 >Too bad they wasted all their time and money on that dogshit rpg Indivisible.
Pretty much, yeah. They could've perhaps kept doing more Skullgirls shit and start working on Indivisible in the background.
It's a shame about Skullgirls too, it had a lot of nice ideas, but it ended up a stupid Frankenstein of a fighting game with elements stolen from other games and REFERENCES REFERENCES REFERENCES everywhere. If it didn't had sexy waifus, it would've gotten zero traction.
>>418598 The worst thing about the franchise is that they always add one more new character in every game. By now they have so much that I can't tell if fanart uses OCs or official characters.
>>418967 I think it's called undercut or sidecut, yeah. She just looks like an edgy hipster bitch. I'm surprised she even has a notable chest size with that design direction.
>>419567 Its unusual seeing a picture of Chun-Li where someone is focused on giving her very muscled arms. Instead of focusing on her extremely powerful lower body like normal.
>>419772 St Patricks day is fucked, its like if Black History month was everyone walking around in public wearing blackface while downing malt liquor and watermelon.
>>419774 Hell its not dressing up as irish people, its dressing up as a crass parody of the culture and using it as an excuse to get disastrously drunk and be retarded.
Man the Irish have had it rough, they weren't even considered white and put on the same "racial level" of black people via pseudoscience theories of the two "kinds" sharing the same ancestor distinct from that of white humans.
>>419932 Sephiroth after FF7 became such a boring non-character that just APPEARS in every spinoff or crossover to repeat the same boring bullshit of stalking Cloud to get those fanboy/girl bucks.
Seeing a game where you play as a Young Seph in his early days as a SOLDIER building his legendary rep would be at least somewhat refreshing in comparison.
>>419964 Does Sephiroth even do anything in FF7 beyond appearing in cutscenes? I remember there was a flashback scene which featured him a lot, and some clone room that had clones of him, but that's all I remember.
>>419965 Flashback is him leading the mission that Cloud is narrating to the rest of the party, seems like a decent guy. Then while at the reactor they were sent to investigate he finds all the monsters in the tubes and goes down to the basement of the Shinra mansion in town to read all the records. Finds out he's not natural and goes completely bugfuck insane burning the whole place (Cloud's hometown for anyone who still played it) down.
Technically all the appearances he made during the "present" in FF7 walking around and doing stuff weren't him personally but extensions of his will working through other bodies (due to being chucked down a mako pit in the flashback and ending up encased in a giant hunk of crystal/materia). He might have just been a world-destorying villain but at least he had a goal, to absorb the lifeblood of the planet and become as unto a god before going off to repeat the process by consuming other worlds.
He wasn't just gay-stalking Cloud throughout franchises while spouting nonsense about "Light" "Dark" and "Memories" like something out of a shitty fanfic.
>>419966 No, I mean, does he say anything, does he have a personality, anything like that? With Kefka and Exdeath you get plenty of interaction, but with Sephiroth I just remember that he stabs Aeris in a cutscene and then in the final boss fight he has 1 HP and you have your Limit pre-charged and all other moves disabled for a cool cinematic ending. And he, like, summons a comet to destroy the planet.
But then the entire of FF7s plot is really really muddy to me. I'm not even sure what the hell is Clouds backstory, at one point he is a former shinra soldier and childhood friend of Tifa, then later they decide that those childhood memories are from another guy (Tifa and the rest of the cast played along with Cloud on that one for REASONS), and he is like a sephiroth clone or something or another. There was also this mad doctor (Hojo?) who wanted to get XIII to mate with Aeris, and after you destroy their HQ he is seen chilling in the beach town.
>>419967 Cloud was there in the backstory, he was the grunt shinra armyman who was suffering from motion sickness in the truck and folllowed along in the background. He kept his helmet on the whole time he was on the mission because he was ashamed he failed to become an elite SOLDIER like he said he would.
The reason during the game his memories are mixed up and he's portraying himself in his friend Zack's place in the flashback is because after the incident with Sephiroth burning down the town the badly injured Cloud and Zack were taken by a Shinra recovery team and experimented on for years. Zack being an already enhanced SOLDIER badass managed to escape and carried the near-comatose Cloud with him, but they got caught just outside the megacity Midgar and Zack died fighting the army.
So Cloud picks up the fallen Zack's sword and zombie shuffles the rest of the way to the city, where when he starts to recover his broken cludged-together mind makes him think he actually WAS in SOLDIER (1st Class) like Zack and he signs up with Avalanche as a merc. The rest of the party were never at Cloud's hometown during the incident apart from Tifa so they have no idea, and because she's both weak-willed and confused at how many details of what happened Cloud is actually getting right she's too "scared" to directly challenge him over it.
His broken mind/memories and the experiments done on him with jenova cells is why he's later susceptible to Sephiroth's manipulation, because alot of people were experimented on with the alien cells from the lifeform Jenova and that's who Sephiroth is manipulating for the whole game. Hojo was one of the primary scientists behind these projects, he is both a monster and insane. One of the other scientists on the project was a woman he knocked up and injected with Jenova cells which resulted in Sephiroth's birth.
Sephiroth in his insanity post-reactor thinks he and his 'mother' Jenova are the chosen superior race and all these mere humans have stolen the world from them and rants about it in the encounters you have with his avatars (usually just before the chunk of Jenova left behind transforms into a big monster to serve as a bossfight).
Like I mentioned before his real body is stuck in a chunk of crystal in a cave the whole game so he's working to his ends (summoning a giant meteor using the Black Materia, using it to punch a whole in the planet large enough that it will draw a massive amount of "lifestream" energy to try and heal the damage which he will then absorb and achieve godhood) through the bodies of other people.
>>419970 What you wrote down makes about as much sense as if he was just gay-stalking Cloud throughout franchises while spouting nonsense about "Light" "Dark" and "Memories" like something out of a shitty fanfic.
