I was about to suggest slowbeef's, which is considered among the ones that kinda started this entire LP business. But fuck man, checked it out for a bit and you can tell that shit's from 2007. Video and audio quality are almost intolerable.
>>189233
I liked a lot of the Jontron-era vids, but as far as straight LPing goes they're terrible for that.
Hold on OP, there's still two games left.
//youtube.com/watch?v=tZVH_cdVXOE
>>189241
Correction, three games!
Didn't knew there was a NES version of Tournament Fighters.
>>189248
Yep, did a Blockbuster on it once, should done Darkwing
>>189248
It is so weird that every version of Tournament Fighters basically had a different roster, aside from the Turtles.
>>189252
Maybe it was some attempt at Variety mid '90s to late '90s fighter market was pretty full.

Now that he can do whatever he feels like doing, here's Notch's latest little project.
//youtube.com/watch?v=XS4rLaipdho
This is a real disappointing QL on a lot of levels. Dan wasn't the right guy to ride into Japan with Jeff and the game itself is a lot less amusingly zany than it seemed. It's also real weird that it's like, dubbed for example. This is the kind of thing you expect Xseed to put out digital only with all the Japanese audio left in untouched. I do sort of find it funny that it's SUPER ANIME Yakuza right down to the insane level of advertising though.
>>189289
I kinda like the little moment of silent shock when Dan realizes the horrible depths of otakudom when that one guy calls the girl 3D.

>>189303
I honestly can't tell if they keep fucking up because of RE6's mechanics or because they just suck.
>>189314
After watching RE4 Combat and then this, cripes.
>>189325
Well, yeah. That's what most of the GB community is now. In no small thanks to Klepek.
>>189326
There is no part of this statement that is true.
>>189325
Oh stop being such a whiner and just look at the sick shades on the charmingly garrulous Dr. Tracksuit.
Did you know Dr. Tracksuit is the Big Show's odds on favorite for victory at the Royal Rumble?

Did you already forget the drama over Dan and Jason's hiring?
>>189329
Sure. I also remember that same community spews bile from every orifice every time a woman speaks or appears on screen. The GB community has always been a whole RAINBOW of awful.

>>189325
I don't get it.
Somewhat related, this is what it's like to produce videos for Machinima and Polygon. Long, but interesting read.
http://www.broteampill.com/forums/index.php?topic=4522.0
>>189342
I absolutely hate the videos that dude makes, but shit's fucked, yo. He still deserves to get fucking paid. I hope the Best Friends Zaibatsu aren't as dependant on Machinima now that they have their site.
>>189348
I know they've mentioned it a couple of times but I've forgotten, what games have they said they wish to do but were unable to do due to the Youtube content match stuff.
>>189349
Their Metal Gear Solid 4 LP got struck. And fans constantly demanded Asura's Wrath, which they were unable to do on Youtube (but they still won't do it, because Matt fucking hates it).
//youtube.com/watch?v=roEyjeVfbho
Max is an alright guy, but Matt is the whiniest shit with his "It doesn't count because I don't like it" mentality.
Also, there are some spoilers for Hyrule Warriors in the video, if anyone cares.
Pat, Woolie, Liam, please stop the waifu wars.
Because I can't help but take part.
That Podcast was an ordeal. There's no way they can go longer than this one.
//youtube.com/watch?v=Tj5AF_m3-4I
Dan is the type of guy you bring to a haunted house to watch him loose his shit.
Just like he dose in this play though.
>>189393
I say someone is up for some Five Nights.
>>189393
I fucking love Danny. That fucker is such a sweetheart.
Are they just not updating the SuperBestFriends site?
>>189431
Nah, not really. A fancy website, but requires a bit more work than YouTube to actually post stuff on. Like Normal Boots.
>>189459
Heard it has something to do with some sort of legal mumbojumbo involving the Polaris company that they're both subsidiaries of. It's possible the dirty laundry they have to air isn't that big of a deal but because of all the redtape they aren't allowed to just deal with it outright and are forced to let it fester. There was another post of the same sort in the past that was allowed to slide by because it was a lot less in-your-face about it all.
>>189459
>>189462
>>189463
All this time I thought the only reason they weren't talking was it could potentially hurt those involved. But if it's Arin's fault, and it clearly is, Jon has no reason not to say what it is. Now you're telling me they can't LEGALLY do it?
I mean, it's a fucking Let's Play. Two friends sitting down and recording themselves playing a game. There was a contract? A non-disclosure agreement? REALLY?
>>189465
>I mean, it's a fucking Let's Play. Two friends sitting down and recording themselves playing a game.
But it's not. It's a business. There's money involved. You'd do well to remember that. These people are entertainers. Not your friends.
>>189465
What makes you so sure it's Arin's fault and what specifically did Jon say about it? Other Polaris members' statements alluding to whatever's happened seem to be on Jon's side but he's kinda shown himsef to be pretty oversensitive and there's a chance he overreacted to whatever Arin did, even if there's no doubt douchebag SJWs have gone out of their way to provoke him and twist his words out of context now that he's on their bad side.
>>189465
>>189467
According to one of the old TGS podcasts you're not allowed to publically say anything that could be construed asz critical of or insulting towards a fellow member of the Polaris network (which both Jon and Arin are in). Based on the context TotalBiscuit or Jesse Cox or whoever it was that cited it was ready to impugn Arin specifically.
>>189465
Remember that whole episode where they were talking about how they became corporatized and signed up for some financial account and Jon put himself down as Arin's "fartner"? Wonder if that's gonna bite him in the ass
Rumor is Jon got fed up with Arin for turning into a social justice warrior type but I find it hard to believe Arin was the target of that comment of Jon's considering he's still been making a metric ton of offensive jokes even with Danny around and if anything he's ramped it up to the point it's a little cringeworthy.
>>189471
That popped up because Arin recently made a tweet alluding to defending Zoe Quinn.
Considering how many n bombs the guy drops (and surprisingly how Jon's actually been clearly against stuff like misogyny) I doubt that's the case.
You could argue that's why they got Danny, though.
I'd take Danny over Jon any day, that said I hope this doesn't get revealed to be something weird and gross on either Jon or Arin's part.
Although Neil Cicierega putting Jon on blast was great.
>>189472
I doubt Jon is actually a racist/sexist/ableist/whatever like Tumblr claims he is. His problem seems to be getting way too butthurt over stuff and that he'd sink to any level to avoid admitting he's wrong, but that's different from having actual hatred for any group and sadly Tumblr can't (or refuses to) understand that distinction.
I still think Jontron is funny, but A) I'm sick of this drama and B) he needs to learn how to use diplomacy in order to keep stuff like this from happening again.
Ah good they are doing Five Nights but not making Danny do it. It would be mean.
>>189477
Yeah but it'll be boring. Scary game LP's are only fun if someone's getting scared.
>>189478
True but if they do a whole five to seven nights I think the tension will get to them.
>>189459
Does anyone know exactly what Jon actually said about it? As someone said earlier whatever happened might not have been a big deal at all, but the non-disclosure agreement rules mean he can't do jack about even the smallest mention of it unless a third party who was also there but not affiliated with Polaris can break the silence.
>>189474
Yeah, no at this point it isn't even about the insult - its how grossly behaved the whole thing showed him to be.
http://superbestfriendsplay.com/video/best-friends-play-dark-souls-2-part-23/
What is it about Souls games that makes them such amazing material for LPs?
Also, fuck yeah! Berserk mode unlocked!

>>189504
>http://superbestfriendsplay.com/video/best-friends-play-dark-souls-2-part-23/
Well I'm finding the educational nature of it to be the best part.
>>189480
>but the non-disclosure agreement rules mean he can't do jack about even the smallest mention of it unless a third party who was also there but not affiliated with Polaris can break the silence.
Oh please, you people honestly think anything would happen to Jon if he spoke up about this? You think anything happened to Alfonso Ribeiro when he revealed how Janet Hubert was a total bitch when they were working on Fresh Prince, even though he was under an NDA too? If you have a shitload of fans, no company would dare do anything to your career. The amount of hate mail and bad publicity they'd get would hurt them more than telling people Arin is an asshole.
>>189459
Just saw that and man, Arin got /pissy./
What the hell happened between the two.
>>189509
I have a sneaking suspicion that Arin being pissed off is not because of something Jon did, and instead being reminded of something he did himself.
>>189510
>Another popular theory is that Arin tried to make sexual advances towards Jon's rl waifu (who remarkably looks like Arin himself) and when rejected slapped her. This caused Jon to sperg out and sperate all ties. Legally there is nothing Jon can do, because his slave-contract with polaris forbids him from criticising from fellow "polaris" members.
Thanks to PewDiePie, the four-year old Skate 3 has been in the Top 40 all year in the UK (currently at #20). The game had been out-of-print, but EA produced more at the request of retailer GAME.
http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/how-pewdiepie-fired-skate-3-back-into-the-charts/0137447
And this is the reason why a online retailer like Amazon would spend close to $1B for a video service like Twitch.
rumor I read was that it was over mone. Arin brought in Danny and Ross and was taking a percentage of their revenue. Jon said as partners the two of them should split it or take none. Arin made fart noises with his mouth about it and Jon left.
Regardless Jon's quest to be slammed as a dirtbag by everyone he loves is going swimmingly, all that's left is Grant Kirkhope to call him a twat.
>>189574
Doubt it, enough people just don't care either way and will still watch his videos.
>>189571
I'm confused why he's getting so much hate over the ZQ issue specifically when what he said about her isn't even that bad. It's known that he was never particularly fond of her for whatever reason (even then, if the stories about that guy are true when he tried to get him to start a fight with her it didn't work), but even if the allegations are most likely bullshit, what she's doing in response isn't so great either, and to not side with her is not the same as being a rape advocate (see: the overreaction to TotalBiscuit who said the same thing way nicer). The "retard" controversy I totally get, and it's fine to continue hating him for that, but here? Seems like a big SJW bandwagon.
>>189576
Dude I don't even know about anything to do with that, I was just talking about him embarrassing himself to Tim Shaffer.
>>189576
What, wasn't there a whole debacle concerning him sending ZQ a bunch of cartoons with her face on them?
That shit just don't fly, man.
stop caring about bad videogame man jontron and start caring about best videogame man supergreatfriend
his deadly premonition LP is p fucking great and if youve already seen it check out the illbleed lp
SGF basically does weird, usually old games that never really took off in the mainstream for whatever reason. he also used to do weekly features where hed play every free xbox live indie game released during a week.

supergreatfriend is my favorite LPer, mostly because he doesn't pretend to be scared by horror games. Horror games either make him laugh or become snarky and sarcastic.
>>189227
Hold the fuck up. This just in.
Arin confirmed for ultimate sweetheart.

>How hard is it to show a little empathy for someone being hurt
Arin, you are a good guy.
I don't even give a fuck about videogame talk on the Bombcast anymore. I just wanna hear new Dan stories. How can one person be so amazingly stupid?
>>189597
For rape/pedophilia jokes it's fine, but I hope he doesn't go trigger-happy with the trigger warnings.
The thing that makes SGF's Deadly P run interesting compared to the Best Friends or the two GB runs is that SGF knows the game in and out so he does a 100% run and actually shows off a lot of weird side quests. He also does some extra shit like mini reviews of the weird movies York talks about.
>>189603
Oh you.
//youtube.com/watch?v=Nz8yLIOb2pU
So apparently this is a thing people do. Man, it's so hard to keep faith in humanity.
>>189609
Fuck. You have to be such an asshole to think that's a funny/cool thing to do. I fucking hate this world so much sometimes.
>>189612
>wut
It’s a stupid bullshit thing called ‘swatting’ where some anonymous jackoff sics a SWAT team on a livestreamer by calling in a bogus emergency. It’s a prank where that one lone anonymous jackoff is the only one who gets a laugh, and it’s also highly fucking illegal (seriously, it’s a felony to do that shit).
>>189601
Duh.
But there's a crapload of ways to do PR management.
Turns out Being a Decent Human Being (tm) is an okay thing to do.
>>189601
For the record, those tweets from Arin occurred long before the drama with Jon's comments.
>>189619
Because I fucking love saying This Just In.
Makes people read stuff.
I wish the 2BF gang did something interesting to keep us from talking about this Jontron thing ad nausium.
>>189622
I like watching their Dark Souls 2 Run, very informative on general game play. Makes me want to play Dark Souls myself again.
>>189627
>very informative on general game play
You mean during those rare times when Pat isn't spreading blatant misinformation?
Also Dan casually mentions being drinking friends with a member of the Russian mob.
>>189634
Anyone that thinks the MGS series has great story needs a slap.
Maybe amusing in that its so silly and over the top in places, but its far from being "great" and nowhere close to being the "Greatest".
Eh, it's highly subjective. I also think the MGS' story is more dumb than clever, but to each their own. I doubt Dan would enjoy a more cerebral story like Planescape or Soul Sacrifice. He'd be bored three minutes in.
>>189636
Not the other ones so much but MGS1 and 3's were pretty good.
>>189636
MGS3's story is pretty great - especially as a standalone.
Does it have plotholes? Yeah, all the way.
Does it make the experience of playing through the story any less effective? Nah.
Its not an interactive movie.
Its a videogame with a story.
I appreciate that.
People who say Kojima just wants to make movies/that MGS is a movie have never played a Metal Gear game. Those games are what they are BECAUSE they are games and have all those weird little details you'd normally never have.

>>189902
I feel like Dan is destroying Drew's mystique. Since his arrival, Drew has shown a whole new range of emotions, like fear, anger, and sadness, and has been revealed to in fact be Brad at games. Possibly moreso than Brad himself.
>>189917
It would've happened anyway with Drew's switch from quiet behind-the-scenes guy to on-camera personality. Dan is just the perfect guy to do so.
//youtube.com/watch?v=LriFas8uzrg
Yahtzee and Gabe can be pretty tone deaf at times (like last episode) but they're pretty on point here.
>>189952
>Yahtzee and Gabe can be pretty tone deaf at times
And I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm still chuckling at "Rapelstiltzkin" from that Red Riding Hood episode.
>>189953
Usually I appreciate the levity too but sometimes it goes a little far. Last week's episode got downright uncomfortable.
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT MATT ACCIDENTALLY THREW AWAY ANOTHER AXE
After seeing some stuff of his posted on the Five Nights thread, I've been watching some of Markiplier's stuff and I gotta say, he might be silly but man he's cute.
Than and he's got a wicked good voice.
>>190004
The man is a pleasure to listen to. Watched his Machine for Pigs LP in part because of his voice and he freaks out well.
>>190004
Dude yells way too much for no reason. He's basically UberHaxorNova but less annoying due to the voice, but that means he's still fucking annoying.
So I finished watching Jeff's Destiny stream over at
//youtube.com/watch?v=ExyGQige8Mg![]()
and man, does he not have a single good thing to say about the game. I know Jeff is cynical and all, but he usually likes futuristic shootbangs. And he just fucking trashed it nonstop. I'm guessing it's just waking up at 5AM that made him extra cranky.
>>190021
Ah that sucks - I was actually kinda looking forward to it.
Any interesting points he made?
>>190024
It was mostly about how lifeless and repetitive it was. Oh, and the abysmal load times of course.
>>190025
The load times thing seems to be recurring.
Also, it seems to be compared a lot to Borderlands.
But the setting and aesthetic design on this one's really selling me tbh.
Watching a stream
the voice acting really sucks. Particularly the Guilty Spark/Cortana stand-in.
People seem to agree.
//youtube.com/watch?v=Esd-ltfTo6A
This was a hilarious ride through a hilariously terrible game. Also, Liam thinks that Capcom still loves Mega Man, or so Pat says.
For quite some time I've been looking forward to the Superbestfriendcast way more than the Bombcast. Not anymore. Dan's tales of utter idiocy are just too goddamn entertaining.

I'm just going to continue to pretend S2 doesn't exist (because it shouldn't).
>>190264
And from the thumpnails I have seen, its only gonna get worse.
Good thing I dont give a shit about it!
That goes for Prison Brake as well.
>>190270
Oh it does, it gets much worse. But all on the road to making Clem a force of nature. She scares me a bit by the end, yet an odd sense of pride in it all.
>>190327
Also like, half of SA is in it. In addition to Medibot, you can also find Geop and a bunch of others hiding around.

Boy, Drew really is fucking terrible at videogames.
http://superbestfriendsplay.com/video/friday-night-fisticuffs-nidhogg/
I love how they always start treating Matt like a little baby towards the latter parts of these, cheering him on like he's the sad little boy that still waddles on while everyone's long since crossed the finish line.
>>189227
He does strike me as the least proficient of the lot.
I don't think anyone hates Kenny more than Pat.
>>190386
Then we'll know the way this playthrough will go.
Jeff just can't catch a fucking break holy shit.
//youtube.com/watch?v=-A5RJnVOBXU
All aboard the Reggie Hate Train!
>>190425
Telltale failed on making that a hard choice, maybe if he hadn't been a shit to Clem off the bat.
//youtube.com/watch?v=Z44VuQ4389o
Choices have been made. Choices that Pat feels pretty good about.
>>190463
They are likely gonna go with Jane on this playthrough. Seeing how much they hate Kenny.
>>190467
I'm not going to lie, Jane seems like a lot more solid choice than Kenny. That Kenny has madness in his eyes, and the madness is boat-shaped.
Honestly the second Jane said they were going to go scouting with Clem I would have taken the opportunity to just gtfo of that group for good.
>>190471
Sarah bites it, real sad moment, Yea she'd likely not survived long anyway but damn
>>190467
//youtube.com/watch?v=9LaNeLZFGt0
The dislike bar is pretty high on this one. Apparently, the Kenny fanbase is displeased in turn.
>>190474
Hence some disable them.
>>190475
I don't know how feasible it would be, but I'd like it if Youtube (and news sites) had commenting systems with a persistent karma (ala Slashdot) as part of the profile. That way if you want to have comments but not be overloaded in shit, you can allow only "high" karma users. The problem, of course, is if everyone tunes things to high karma there's no way for lower karma profiles to move up so there would need to be some incentive to use it selectively.
//youtube.com/watch?v=7FbVHrbZPm8
The Kenny fanbase seems seriously upset.
>>190475
That was the smartest decision TB ever made in his YouTube career.
>>190487
I guess the fact that people get so emotionally invested to in these characters to this extent says a lot about the quality of the writing in the Walking Dead games.
>>190487
I can agree somewhat. Maybe they didn't play Season 1 like they did but Kenny was not a nice guy.
>>190488
I suppose would be at least fair to say its superior to the comics...
http://superbestfriendsplay.com/video/tbfp-walking-dead-s2-part-12/
If there's anything this playthrough has taught me is that you should never, ever do anything that Pat doesn't agree with, because he will hold an unreasonable grudge towards you for the rest of your fucking life.
>>190503
He has become the ginger Kenny.
Also, good to know that not robbing Arvo changed exactly nothing.
They railroad you the fuck in this game, illusion of choice to maximum
So on a scale of 1 to 10 how fucked is Woolie?
>>190507
Yea I think that was talked about in the first game.Mainly that it was more obvious about the illusion.
>>190512
1. Navlaan is annoying but not hard to deal with.
The hatred Matt and Pat has for Kenny has to be an act.
urgh... I need to stop browsing through the comments sections on that site, all the whiny youtubers bitching about them getting Clem to cover when before that she just got her brains blown out, and the lpers were clearly planning to get Clem out of the line of fire so they could resolve the situation and save the baby better without her getting headshot again.
Hell I even saw someone accuse them of being just like DSP, and I saw that crop up in the DS2 videos too, there's some major goddamn drama queens on youtube who need little prodding to jump to extremes, have they even watche DSP's stuff?
I've only dipped into a few videos of this lp to see what all the fuss was about since I don't really like this franchise at all but you'd think if people disagreed with them so badly over favourite characters they'd just stop watching.
//youtube.com/watch?v=PmND6lJ0rTc
>>190522
And with good reason.
How does a character go through the same arc twice?
>>190534
>How does a character go through the same arc twice?
By deliberately being driven to the brink out of spite. Don't ever be disliked by Pat is the lesson here.
>>190542
If anything he should be dead instead of somehow surviving and taking facetime away from new characters in the storyline.
//youtube.com/watch?v=-RCFd872DVs
>>190542
Beware the bad ginger bearing a grudge.
So is Jontron still a dick?
>>190559
Everyone deserves a second opportunity at a public perception or at least a chance at redemption.
I've yet to see him attempt either.
//youtube.com/watch?v=iYk1Obt9UGQ
Jon attempts to get Jacques off of drugs with video games. This can only end well.
>>190562
Some people can't comprehend how based he is at times.
So they think he's a dick.
>>190563
Well, now you make him seem like a dick, despite me never actually hearing about the things that supposedly triggered it.
>>190565
Phil Fish is a douchebag, but not an unapologetic head-stuck-up-my-ass "apology? more like ECH" guy Jontron is.
There's a good explanation out there, just don't expect a buncha guys on here to really tell ya unbiased, truth be told.
>>190559
Ha was never a dick to begin with.
He just lacked of the proper diplomacy to face all that shit.
>>190566
Phil Fish believes that Let's Plays are piracy. The man has his head so far up his ass he resembles a Klein bottle.
>>190567
>He just lacked of the proper diplomacy to face all that shit.
That's called being a dick. You can be a dick without being actively malicious about it.
>>190566
>>190569
Jon didn't have to apologize for anything. Because he didn't do anything. He's not a fucking public figure, no matter how much you want him to be.
I say "Phil Fish" all over again not because Phil Fish didn't do anything, but Jon has every right to remove himself from the internet and stop making JonTron if you keep treating him like you're fucking TMZ.
//youtube.com/watch?v=CcFFcCZnUio
All's well that ends well. Or not.
>>190570
Jon made a social faux pas. This, in itself is not a big deal. If he had apologized, it would have gone away immediately. If he had ignored it, it would still have been forgotten within days. Instead, Jon went on a weeklong rampage against the very concept of an apology, casting himself as a victim of the 'pussification' of America, insulting a lot of people in the process. That is being a dick. And that's without even touching on his behavior during the Zoë Quinn conflagration, which was just disgraceful.
Also, yes, like Phil Fish he has the right to withdraw from the internet and stop producing content. I wouldn't want him to do that, because I do enjoy his videos even if I think someone needs to take his Twitter feed away before he hurts himself. But that doesn't change the fact that his behavior of late has been really dickish, nor that by making his living selling himself and his image, he does in fact qualify as a public figure and subject to public criticism.
>>190572
>That is being a dick.
No, that is not wanting to be a victim of this conception that because you're a "celebrity" you have to be nice to everyone. He doesn't want to change who he was before he became popular, just because he's popular now.
If Quentin Tarantino can act like a douchebag and nobody bats an eye, just accepting that's just how he rolls, why can't Jon?

If you're not being nice to people then you're being a dick, how hard is this to understand
What irritates me about the whole JonTron thing is that I've seen way more backlash on Tumblr over him being an anti-Semite for making a Schindler's List joke, or a transphobe and misogynist for Game Grumps jokes that weren't actually misogynist, or that a racist for using the N word even though Arin made those exact same kinds of jokes without apologizing for them either, and so on and on. And not nearly as much over the actual douchey thing he did with the tweets to Zoe Quinn. Something tells me Tumblr has their priorities way fucked.
>>190583
"Tumblr" is an incredibly selective group.
And I don't mean that as a group, I mean that as "The people I encompass as 'tumblr' is selective"
You might've seen more backlash over a GameGrumps joke, but me I saw pretty much equal scrutiny on everything.
>>190584
Seriously. People here talk about tumblr the way tumblr talks about 4chan.

He sold out to the man. The Coffee Man, or as he's known in his native tongue: El Hombre. Now John's peddling over-the-counter stimulants like the other cuppa pushers in the world, getting people hooked on momentary highs that won't get them past 2-3 hours and require expensive machines to make at home that are maintenance fee vampires in mechanical casings. On every corner, in every market, there's some sick dealer ready to make you feel like a supernova's going off in your brain that's gonna give you enlightenment, but all that you get when you inevitably come down is some funky aftertaste and the onset of heartburn. Mark my words, in a few decades, pumping this stuff through our veins will be mandatory. That's how they're going to control us! That's how they're going to win. I'm scared; I don't want another hit, BUT I NEED IT! And now Jon's a part of the problem.
Porky, Senor Jon Tron? POUR KAY?!
Also, he sung on livestream while playing Banjo Kazooie:

I... kinda want this game now.
>>190597
>That he shouldn't be a dick?
Yes. He should act like a halfway decent human being.
>>190597
While I agree that some of the criticism is pretty fucking ridiculous (being mean to an individual woman =/= having a deepseated hatred of all women in general), he needs to learn to be less goddamn thin-skinned and learn to accept the more reasonable criticism (see: TotalBiscuit telling him not to be a buttmunch who insults people personally then gets mad when people call him out on it) while being able to ignore the extreme comments (SJW who say he's a white cishet tool of the patriarchy who wants all Jews, blacks, gays, and women raped or dead) if he wants to continue to be in the public eye.

Speaking on JonTron
//youtube.com/watch?v=2FMvrKoFovk
the end of the game portion of StarCade and the lead into the holiday
This is gonna be fun.
I'm really not into the direction Jon's taking his recent videos. I mean look at the credits list for Food Games:
>Director/Writer/Actor - Jon Jafari
>Producer/Propmaster - Hila Klein
>Writer - Zach Hadel
>Director of Photography - Pete Polyakov
>Gaffer - Sergio Torres
>Sound - Matt Nissen
>Makeup - Melanie Licata
>Assistant Cameraman - John Kovalski
>Production Assistant - Andy Dubick
>Grimbo Makeup - Stella Sensel
Why in fuck's name do you need makeup and a DIRECTOR of PHOTOGRAPHY?
>>198624
Because he's made the move to TV on the internet and both those things are very important in television, it's okay not to like what he's doing now but for all intents and purposes it's a TV show on the internet now so obviously things like that will be important.
>>198625
>TV on the internet
That's not Jontron. This is Jontron:
//youtube.com/watch?v=Wgpj2IeXbkA
>>198626
WAS Jontron, whatever you think of what he is now it's the direction he's decided to go.
>>198630
I don't mind it, he handles it better than some that have tried to expand that I could mention.
>>198630
It's making his videos suffer though. They're nowhere near as funny as they used to be and the fact that he has a fucking stage set instead of filming in his house rubs me the wrong way. I can't relate to Jon or think of him as just a normal guy that reviews and plays games now that he's putting an unnecessarily large amount of production into his shit. I mean if that's where he wants to take his videos, fine. But I think most of his fans prefer the simpler, meme-worthy style of his older videos.
Stuff like pic related is going to be referenced for years, I can't say the same for this embarrassing TV shit.
I can't believe we found a ducking JonTron Hipster. This is embarrassing just to look at.
>>198636
I know, didn't he get that memo you sent out about which things were okay to have opinions on and which ones weren't? He must feel like such a fool, going around, having opinions about everything he sees and enjoys without caring about how important those things are to you.
Oh we are talking about Jontron?
Sweet I wanted an exsuce to link this for ages!
http://www.fimfiction.net/story/244516/1/jontron-goes-to-equestria/youve-officially-become-that-chapter-you-know-the-one
Its the funnies SHIT!
>>198640
He's strutting it up in New York. I'm impressed he scored some big connections with the StarCade and the incoming Holiday Holiday Special. The Special is gonna be fun. Grandpa Wookie watching Porn, Carrie Fisher high as a kite crooning, the acid trip circus. Miles of fun with that one.
//youtube.com/watch?v=eL5gMWcl9FU
JON AND ARIN WIN, THEY REALIZE FRIENDSHIP'S MORE IMPORTANT!
Man, I fucking hate these theme weeks. The videos are rarely good and they just mess up the schedule for the proper LPs.
>>198672
Arin doesn't really need makeup that kind of a makeup to look like he's dying...
He's like the pastiest, unhealthiest looking nerd imaginable. He looks like he lives at the bottom of the sea and feeds on barnacles.
>>198705
rises from the depths each day and then sinks back each night.
>>198672
Rewatching those clips of the Star Wars Holiday Special reminds me just how painful watching it was. At least the animated portion looked... unique.
If JonTron goes back to Game Grumps, even for a little while, I would resubscribe. It's not even Ross or Dan's fault, it's just that Arin really needed Jon for the right chemistry in my opinion.
>>198707
I agree. Well, maybe in Danny's case, Ross is not great even when he's paired with someone he does have better chemistry with. But Game Grumps without Jon and Arin as the team just doesn't work well for me.
I just want them to finish that damned Sonic 06 playthrough.
//youtube.com/watch?v=fMgOLmXMm-0
You've never seen a video with less honor.
The final SWW video refuses to acknowledge Woolie's existence and it's great.
It's amazing how Dan's days and days of scheming, puzzles, and tricks can be matched by Jeff fiddling around a bit and occasionally going, "oh yeah that'd be a fucked up thing to do to a person."
The MM segment on UPF of Dan playing Jeff's level only magnifies my wish for Pat to make a level for him after he beats the Armageddan.
>>198741
I think the difference is that Jeff also has fun playing through fucked up levels and getting inspiration. Dan on the other hand is a big ol' weenie.
I can't watch this FFX LP anymore. I just don't. How does Matt even figure out how to get dressed in the morning?
>>198751
He's just like any other guy, he pays his taxes one leg at a time.
The FFX LP is fantastic, the sheer amount of shade thrown on Tidus brings a tear to my eye.
>people in the Youtube comments section getting butthurt that Matt dare besmirch the great legacy that is Final Fantasy X
Oh lordy. I get every game is somebody's first, but I can't even imagine the mental gymnastics you have to go through to defend that bucket of turds.
I think the FFX play through is one of the best the Zaibatsu have done in ages. So fucking funny.
>>198759
Then they most fucking HATE Spoony given that he riped that game a new one.
http://spoonyexperiment.com/game-reviews/it-begins-again/ (if you forgot)
Mostly because he of obvious zero tolerance for ANIME BULLSHIT(tm).
But Matt and Woolie loves making fun of that shit.
I just wrapped up Giant Bomb's final GOTYcast and

Is 2015 the best year for video games of all time?
>>198845
Haven't watched the thing you mentioned, but overall 2015 has been pretty fucking great.
>>198845
Nah, 1998 was still way better. But it was still an amazing fucking year. And this year is poised to be just as good, if not better.
>>198845
Its been fuckin good. So fuckin good.
SO good that I haven't gotten through half my to-play list of this year much less some of years past. MH4U, Splatoon and MGSV have completely dominated my game time. Not that I'm complaining.
>>198853
I had to choose priorities between Witcher 3 and MGSV. I chose Witcher 3, which was a poor decision. It's amazing and all, but Witcher 3 continues to get better with time, while MGSV is on the way to becoming virtually unplayable due to Konami's fuckery.
>>198854
Yea I would not be surprised if all Kojima games are pulled from the market at some point.
>>198861
I doubt their spite runs deep enough for them to virtually throw money away. I think their greed runs deeper.

I don't even play fighting games, but I fucking love watching The Excellent Adventures of Gootecks and Mike Ross.

Have to cover this one up since its pretty erotic
Serious question, who is Paige (aside from apparently Pat from the Zaibatsu is dating her)?
>>199430
She's Pat's girlfriend, channel-appearance-wise she was in Pat's (and also made appeared in Woolie's) travelling to Japan videos.
She's purdy and taller than Pat, seems pretty cool, not sure what else there is to say?

I hope Arin doesn't rush through it too fast for Dan to take it all in, they need to enjoy the magic together.
>Best Friends Play Minecraft Story Mode
Man, the Telltale games really are absolutely terrible (outside of a few examples like their Monkey Island game and Tales from the Borderlands which were at least amusing)
>>199475
Seriously? Walking Dead is fantastic. So are the Sam & Max games and even Back To The Future is pretty good.
>>199475
I am enjoying the wonderful sense of shadenfreude watching best friends play Telltale games, although this is because I've never felt any emotional attachment to Minecraft myself (and nobody enjoys seeing people they like shit on something else they like so I can understand how some people will not be happy).
>>199476
I think it's fair to say some people have gotten a bit burned out by the clunkers using the Telltale formula that it's tarnished whatever fond memories they had of their previous work.
>>199476
Walking dead season 2 is cold trash.
