>>476973 I think it was because Gems (like Peri) created during her generation were weaker than those that came before. Because of material shortages or something. So its not all Peridots, just her generation iirc
>>476973 Modern Peridots are short while the older ones used to be around Pearl sized. I think the logic was something about making science units smaller to conserve materials since they didn't need to be physically imposing to do their jobs. It's a shame we only ever saw an old school Peri from the back in a crowd shot and even that is debatable. >>477077 They had the perfect classic alien design and preceded to sideline her for most of the middle of the show and only ever featured another member of her subspecies in one of the games. It is kind of maddening.
>>479273 Yeah not a very good job at not setting me off, seems like the negroid is still upset after 8 months because of how powerless he was trying to stop me as I bypassed everything he tried. Makes sense though since he'd probably never been humbled that hard before
I guess if 4chan turns out to be dead for good I'll see how much fun I can have spamming the board here because if it comes back and everyone returns to it, I really don't care about this website that much.
I'm trying to decide whether or not developing a spambot would be overkill since the only reason I used one on 4chan was because the mods threw all the jannies they had at me but black cuck is just one guy who I slaughtered with a few dozen lines of shitty python code
Green midget bitch should have focused on technology. When a later episode has some blue fairy was able to effortlessly restrain the Crystal Gem's big fusion as well as a bunch of random humans with a single little tech wand.
What is it with the blue gems and completly shitting all over the powers of everyone else in this show? Like with random Lapis's able to control all the water on Earth and somehow not fuck the planet in the process.
>>479860 Writers didn't want her to be OP because all tech savvy characters are so they decided to barn her with worst gem and didn't give her much screen time after that. She should have gotten her own show separate from shitven universe
>>479860 >>479874 It is really odd how they sidelined her and gave her magnet abilities that she almost never got to use instead of sticking to the tech thing. The Pearl episode where she built a mech would have been foreshadowing for the two teaming up to build one for the final fight against Homeworld in a more competent show. Instead it was just a one-off display of a really cool thing they can do and never did again. It also established a great realtionship dynamic for the two only for them to never hang out again after the barning.
I'd like to have seen the humans have some agency in this series/setting, like human governments actually exploring all the gem technology that was left across the planet and dealing with the corrupted monsters when they threatened civilization.
If this was a less gay & more action and plot filled show would have liked to have seen human attempts from analyzing this technology at making their own synthetic mineral super fighting soldiers inspired by the gems to protect themselves from all the monsters/aliens around, maybe based on metals rather than gemstones.
>>479884 The magnet abilities were obviously supposed to be intertwined with her tech skills but of course the writers never went through with it because they thought the show was doing a little too well for their liking
>>479885 >I'd like to have seen the humans have some agency in this series/setting, like human governments actually exploring all the gem technology that was left across the planet and dealing with the corrupted monsters when they threatened civilization. "and then the army shows up with even better weapons" is always the dumbest subplot to ask for
