Murder Drones thread! For all your autistic love for Drones! Let's love the little Drones and the big Drones and talk about them and everything about the series of Murder Drones! Last Thread: >>471134 The beautiful Booru: https://dronebooru.co
>>472229 >Oh! Just when I created it, it wasn't there! That's okay, I just created it too. In fact I was so hasty that I forgot to specify the file allowance, that's why you couldn't post. It should work now.
Im going to be honest I thought we were just going to be named /md/ in the future, having a whole board feels really weird. Plus threads are already slow as balls, do we really have the anons to carry a board
>Already got stressed having to separate my attention between the threads on trash, the threads on /co/, and this plus thread >now theres going to be who knows how many threads on /md/ Booru bros, may god have mercy on you
>>472244 We are the fastest threads on here, normally when there is no /trash/ we are pretty fast, and this way we don't fill this place with Murder Drones.
>>472244 >do we really have the anons to carry a board Check the catalog to see how many threads as of late are us. It's not that we have enough to carry our own board, it's that we have enough to swamp this one. >>472250 I agree, but it'll also be nice to have little threads for things like non-thread art and managing booru uploads.
>>472250 I dont even get the point of having threads other then the main one, there arent that many of us and we dont have that many topics that need to be seperated. I think this is a bad idea, its just going to lead to tribefagging and drama and spreading too thin >Go to the X thread to talk about this, why are you talking about Y!?
>>472252 That could be useful. Also, as the main thread I think the first thread or the second is good enough for the main, maybe the second that has no subject, since the other is called "Cyn thread".
>>472253 Yeah, but people already started to make "Cyn thread" and "Aussie thread", for now is just something there, I think everyone is trying to find a footing.
>>472259 To not let threads empty I guess, the second one created is good enough for now, we fill that one up and then create one called just "Murder Drones" and we start to use just one thread from there. >>472254 The first days are going to be weird.
>>472253 Nothing wrong with having different threads for different topics. I personally find it annoying to have to dig through one gigantic thread to find things I'm interested in talking about. Sure, make a "main" MD general thread, but don't try to shut down other threads.
>Hope vanished >And not a soul seemed to notice or remember she had ever been there >Save for the unwilling instrument of her disappearance. >Cyn, either out of remorse or mourning for her friend, laced V and N's memories with hints of Hope. >She couldn't restore their memories completely, the Solver wouldn't allow that. >Instead she granted them snippets of their life with her. >After their conversion to Disassemblers, however, even these began to degrade. >The repeated memory wipes and re-formats eventually stripped N of all recollection of the unfortunate maid. >By the time they were sent to Copper-9, he was left with a single phrase, "Don't forget about hope," and the all questions it brought. >V on the other hand, retained far more of these memories. >Primarily taking the form of dreams, one would think V found solace in them. >Instead she grew to fear them.
>>472268 >Or really, she grew to fear certain dreams. >Conversing with somewhat familiar face in Elliot manor was a welcome reprieve from her current hell. >A memory of better days, before the coma, before Cyn, before... >Other dreams simply left her sullen. >She couldn't remember how many times the memory of her rocking a pillbaby with N in Tessa's room left her silently crying. >What was it's name? >Was is hers and... >It didn't matter, she could deal with those in the end. >The one she grew to truly fear however, left her lying awake and wondering when it would all end. >It seemed like an empty pitch expanse, bereft of light save her own and one of faded blue. >She'd hear a footstep behind her, turn with her smg drawn, and there she stood. >A worker drone, clad in a maid outfit not unlike the one she wore. >Her head adorned with short, silver hair, not unlike her own and N's. >The maid smiled at her, unflinching, her hands clasped together as if waiting. >V kept her weapon trained on the maid's head.
>>472270 >was it a dream or nightmare? >it always went in two directions. >the maid's head would snap to one side as the cheshire grin of the Solver spread across her face. >her eyes flickering out, replaced by the sickly yellow cross of 606. >V always opened fire on the worker drone as she began to giggle. >Bullets had no effect, they never had any effect. >The giggling turned to hysterical laughter, no longer only emanating from the maid. >A deranged cacophony surrounded V as tears formed at the corners of her eyes. >She watched in horror as the maid's torso split in half, a familiar centipede-like body erupting from the shredded mass. >all the while she kept laughing. >Crab limbs, tentacles, eyestalks, along with other twisted things swarmed V. >Desperate slashes amounting to nothing as the twisted mass tore her arms off. >A claw snapped around her torso, and began dragging her to the cackling half-drone. >V tried to look away from the grisly sight, before the maids hands grabbed her head, forcing them face-to-face. >The maid had ceased in her laughter, merely grinning at the nigh-hysterical dissembler. >"You couldn't save her."
>>472287 >of course, that's if this was a nightmare. >some things changed, but that was typically how it went. >but here again V found herself, pointing a gun at a maid drone. >for a moment, they stared at one another, V's sensors scanning for movement no matter how slight. >The worker drone simply continued to stare, seemingly content to- >*BANG* >The shot rang true, dead center of her head. >and the maid stood there, surprised but unharmed, merely shifting her feet. >Bullets had no effect, they never did. >a dream, not a nightmare. >V recalled her smg, before falling to her knees, circuits strained to breaking. >Her optics were focused the floor, fans at maximum trying to calm down. >she didn't see the maid approach her. >how many times had it done this, how long would IT continue with these dreams, why does it cont- >The maid's arms wrapping around her cut off her train of thought. >V remained still, expecting this to be another Solver bait and switch. >It was only when the maid tightened her embrace that she broke down. >Its only a dream, it would only ever be a dream. >But it was reprieve all the same. >"Its not your fault."

Not getting memory wiped doesn't mean you remember everything. Wanted to show the sort of stuff V's had to deal with regarding memories of Hope. And this isn't hope proper, its just a memory construct, either twisted by the solver or allowed to work as Cyn wanted.
